Welcome Home family!

Home is a place where we come back or in, out of the rain or sunshine. Our home is a warm sanctuary from the storms of life for each member of the family.
Home is a haven of love and acceptance. Father, mother and child need this security, home.
On December 17,1999, our family invested S$2,703.11on two volumes of illustrated encyclopedia of science and nature, from Times Publishing Group. Since then, our cosy 'library' at a corner of our humble home became our place of fellowship and knowledge 'resort'.
After every Sunday church service, we walked to The National Library, Stamford Road. My son will busy himself at the Children Section, my wife will enjoy herself with contemporary news, while I will love to research on latest discoveries at the Adults Section. We grew together with other regular users, until The National Library closed its doors to the public for its relocation to Victoria Street, on April 1,2004. The new National Library will be five times bigger than the one in Stamford Road, and is scheduled to open in late 2005. To mark the closing chapter of the landmark red-brick building, which housed the National Reference Library and the Central Community Library, a closing ceremony was held on March 31,2004.
My wife submitted her feeling for this place. "Place of Peace. This building looks like a bungalow, situated on a piece of high land. The first look from a normal individual is a building of great antiquity and when I am inside the building I can feel the peace and the treasure of it. I love this library very much because my family and I visited it after our Sunday worship in church. What a waste to close it down. But whatever it is, I still give thanks. I have expanded my scope of reading." - 40, Homemaker.
Meanwhile, we continued our family-weekend-haunt at library@Orchard Road, which later was closed down due to lease increase.
In appreciation to my wife's submission to the closure of Stamford Road Library, our family were cordially invited to the Book Launch of "MOMENTS IN TIME : Memories of the National Library " on December 9,2004, at library@esplanade, 8 Raffles Avenue,#03-01. We were very happy and enjoyed ourselves with the programme, which started at 5.30pm - Guest Registration; 6.00pm - Welcome;Speech by Dr N.Varaprasad, Chief Executive, National Library Board Singapore; Presentation of Tokens of Appreciation to guests; Reception, which was our first-time-experience buffet in a public library; 7.30pm - End. We really love reading those memories of other selected submissions, with pictures of family pictures reading together, one Malay, one Tamil and eight Mandarin submissions under the Language Submissions. Truly, every brick has its story, every story has its memory; personally page 48 "Place of Peace" rekindles our family peace in one place in Singapore that feels like home for us, The National Library nurturing a nation of readers, leaders and healthier researchers. Welcome home, family!

Water cure protocol is one of the results from personal research done in The National Library: It is never too late or too early to revise and be wise again for the rest of our journey.......

Use Water-cure.
Rather be thankful for the timely warning, and do something about it.

Drink at least 10% of your own daily water-quota (31.42 ml multiply by your present body weight(kg), every 90 minutes. Use 1/4 teaspoon of sea-salt in your daily diet, for every 1250 ml water drank.

Pain is a sign/signal produced by dehydration in the human body. Pain may be common but it is not normal.

To simplify complications is the FIRST essential of success.
