Grow Healthily

82 years old citizen saying, " I was told my body fat was comparable tot hat of a 19-year-old."

Some long distance cyclists in their 80s have immune systems of 20-year-olds.

Another 80 plus lady describing the route terrain to her cyclists companions, "...So there's some ups , some downs, we should be back in about 5 and a half hours."

A study found that exercise in old age can protect against infections ...and possibly cancer.

Another 82 years old cyclist commented, "If exercise was a pill, everybody in the world would be taking an exercise pill."

The immune system is really the key in the body, it has several roles, it protect us from infections but it also helps us to fight things like cancer.

So the fact that these cyclists age above 80 have the immune system of a 20-year-old and not a 70 or 80-year-old means that they're protected from infections and from cancer potentially.

Another 82 years old cyclist commented, " Turns out that exercise has global effects, it affects your mind, it affects your immune system, it affects your heart, it affects your muscles, it affects your wellbeing!"

Any other reason to exercise?

A 79 years old lady cyclist commented, " All reasons, for health because I enjoy it, because it's sociable."

A 64 years old cyclist added, " I cycle for a sense of wellbeing and to enjoy the beautiful countryside we have."

A 70 years old cyclist said, " And we have a good social life too with some young people."

Most of the health benefits of these super-agers are easily achievable ... all you need to do is a bit of physical activity.
