Are You Drinking the Water of Life?

Be Careful What Liquid You Let Pass Through Your Lips

We can live only 3 days without water.

In the Bible, Jesus is portrayed as the water of life — a picture of the Holy Spirit. We can't live a moment without Him. He sustains the universe.

All analogies are based upon a reality.

If water represents spiritual life in Christ — the substance of water must also sustain physical life.

This means the water we drink is important

Natural life-giving water has a ph balance of 7 or more.

We should be drinking water that is as close to God's design as possible.

The higher the ph of water, the more minerals it contains — these are minerals the body relies upon for optimal health.

Unfortunately most water available today is devoid of its minerals and is filled instead with high levels of substances that God never intended to be ingested on a regular basis.

For example:

• God's design doesn't include high levels of fluoride (which actually damages the teeth). Yet modern tap water has added fluoride.

• God's design for water doesn't include high levels of chlorine. Man has added this toxic substance to destroy the harmful living organisms that breed in water lines. But Chlorine itself is harmful too.

• God's design for water doesn't include a host of other dangerous chemicals which are often found in tap water.

• God's design does, however, include naturally occurring minerals.

In order to rehydrate our bodies properly, we need to drink water as God has designed.

There is more that can be said about properly rehydrating our bodies. Here are some articles you can read to learn more.

May your thirst be quenched by living water.
