David Copperfield  versus Chief Medical Officer, Professor Paul Kelly?

It’s not commonly known that USA Chief Medical Officer, Professor Paul Kelly, is also a master illusionist.

In a performance that would rival David Copperfield, at a recent news conference he managed to make 32 positive studies on ivermectin for covid, along with an entire WHO-sponsored review, vanish like magic.

There is “no evidence”, he declared with all the authority of high office, that ivermectin could successfully treat covid19.

And presto! In the eyes of the mainstream media, all evidence for ivermectin’s powers now did not exist, as if hidden in a Harry Potter cloak of invisibility.

It was an astonishing feat, because some of us who have researched the subject have actually seen the 32 studies that don’t exist, and all of them have found ivermectin effective against covid, be it for prophylaxis, early or late treatment.

Kelly’s Magical Disappearing Act

Also non-existent apparently was the evidence of the recent WHO sponsored review by Dr Andrew Hill of Liverpool University, which looked at 18 Randomised Controlled Trials of ivermectin use for covid, and found overall a huge 75% reduction in mortality in covid patients given the drug.

And not evidence either was the detailed review of ivermectin for covid studies by and Dr Pierre Kory and the Frontline Covid19 Critical Care doctors’ alliance – it was Dr Kory who told the world through his testimony at the US[i] Senate that ivermectin’s effectiveness against covid was “miraculous”. 

Made invisible also was the evidence of Dr Kory and Dr Hill’s recent presentation of their reviews to the US National Institute of Health, which will study them and report back in February whether to recommend ivermectin as a treatment for covid.

Since that presentation, the NIH has revised its treatment guidelines and now considers ivermectin as an option for use in covid19 – which is puzzling, for according to Professor Kelly, the NIH decision must be based on evidence that doesn’t exist. 

And Professor Kelly was even able to make whole countries disappear – as there was no mention of Macedonia or Belize, who have both authorised the use of ivermectin for covid.

Not even David Copperfield could pull that one off.

Properties of Ivermectin

Ivermectin inhibits the replication of many viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, influenza, and others;

Ivermectin has potent anti-inflammatory properties with multiple mechanisms of inhibition;

Ivermectin diminishes viral load and protects against organ damage in animal models;

Ivermectin prevents transmission of COVID-19 when taken either pre-or post-exposure;

Ivermectin hastens recovery and decreases hospitalization and mortality in patients with COVID-19;

Ivermectin leads to far lower case-fatality rates in regions with widespread use.
