(Kuala Lumpur) Eight Malaysians, including a doctor, accused the COVID-19 vaccine of causing death and serious complications, and sued the Malaysian government and the World Health Organization, demanding RM60 million (about S$18.13 million).

This class action lawsuit was filed in court through a law firm on October 23, naming 25 parties including Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, former Prime Ministers Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabri, Inspector-General of Police Razaruddin, current Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad, then Health Ministers Khairy and Adham Baba, Home Minister Saifuddin, then Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin, Pfizer Malaysia and Sinovac Biotech Ltd as defendants.

One of the plaintiffs, a doctor, said his mother died of complications after receiving the first dose of the vaccine; a man said his father died of the same cause. Another man said his wife died after receiving two doses of the vaccine.

Accusing WHO of making false statements

The plaintiffs also accused the WHO and its Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus of issuing a false and unscientific statement on March 11, 2020, and recommending member states, including Malaysia, to implement a movement control order.

The plaintiffs said the WHO made false and misleading claims, saying the coronavirus pandemic was artificially created in a laboratory and disguised as a chemical weapon like seasonal flu.

In addition, the plaintiff also pointed out that the defendant was extremely negligent in not conducting any inspections or clinical trials on the safety of the vaccine, and used unfair and deceptive means to make the public accept and sign the vaccination consent form without sufficient information.

Not only did (then Prime Minister) Muhyiddin accept false, The government also imposed a movement control order to contain the epidemic. It also used unfair influence, lies, and accepted and signed forms for the use of toxic experimental vaccines without sufficient public consent.

The plaintiff therefore asked the court to declare the coronavirus to be false and required Malaysia to withdraw from the WHO and the World Economic Forum, while seeking general, special and punitive damages.
