The Word of God is not a book. Most Christians have been treating it like one, their entire lives. A sacred text, an inspired collection of writings, a document of divine origin that contains important truths about God and salvation and how to live a decent life. And that treatment, however reverent, however sincere, is a catastrophic underestimation of what the Word actually is. 

Because the Word of God is not a record of what a living God once said. It is a living thing itself. It carries life in it. The same way a seed carries the full genetic code of the tree it will become. 

It does not merely describe spiritual reality. It creates it. 

It does not merely inform you about God's power. It is an expression of that power alive and active and operating in the situation of every person who takes it seriously enough to act on it. 

Jesus Christ said in John 6: 63, the words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life. He was not making a theological point about the inspiration of scripture. He was describing the nature of His own words as living things, things that carry in them the same creative force that spoke the universe into existence. 

 When he spoke to the fig tree in Matthew 21: 19, it did not gradually wither over days and weeks as a natural tree would if deprived of water. It died from the root up immediately because a living Word had been spoken against it. 

And living words produce immediate effects in the natural realm. 

When he spoke to the widow's son in Luke chapter 7 verse 4, "Young man, I say to you, arise."  Death itself reversed because a living Word entered the situation and life is stronger than death. These were not miracles that happened despite the words. They were miracles that happened because of the words. 

The Word was the mechanism. The Word was the force. The Word was the thing that crossed the boundary between the invisible realm and the visible realm and reorganized natural reality in its wake. 

Hebrews 4:12 says, "The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." The writer is not describing a book that contains helpful information. He is describing a living entity with the capacity to penetrate, to divide, to discern, to operate in the   deepest and most inaccessible places of human experience with a precision that no human instrument can match. 

This Word is alive. It has intelligence. It has power. It has the ability to find its way into the exact place where it is needed and to do exactly what it was designed to do when it gets there.

 And the believer who understands this, who approaches the Word not as a text to be studied, but as a living force to be released, has access to a resource that has no ceiling and no limitation except the ones imposed by their own unwillingness to speak it and act on it. 

James 1:18 says, "We were begotten by the Word." 

1 Peter 1: 23 says, "We were born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible through the living and abiding Word of God, "

The thing that gave you eternal life. The thing that made you a new creation , that transferred you out of darkness into light, that planted the nature of God in your spirit was the Word. 

Not a religious ceremony, not an emotional experience. 

The incorruptible seed of the living Word of  God, taking root in your spirit and producing a new birth that is as real, as biological, as genuinely generative as your natural birth. You are a child of the Word. The Word is in your spiritual DNA. 

And when you speak that Word, when you release it from your mouth into your circumstances, you are releasing the same force that gave you life in the first place into every situation that needs transformation. 

 If you are beginning to see that the Word in your mouth is not a religious exercise, but a living creative force that operates in your circumstances with the same power it operated with when God spoke the universe into existence. 

 Read on , right now because what l am about to show you will permanently change the way you relate to the Word, the way you use it, and the results you see when you release it into your specific situation and type in the comments right now. The Word of God is alive in me. When I speak it, I release a living force that transforms my circumstances. 

Now here, let me show you what John chapter 15 verse 7 actually says in its fullest sense because this verse contains one of the most staggering promises in the entire New Testament and  most Christians have read a version of it that is significantly weaker than what Jesus actually said. 

The common translation reads, "If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you." 

That sounds good. But the literal Greek translation goes further. One rendering of the Greek reads, "If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall demand your rights and they will come into being for you." 

Demand your rights, not request, not petition. Not humbly hope that God might be willing. 

Demand with the full confidence of someone who knows exactly what belongs to them and exactly what legal basis they have for claiming it. 

And notice what Jesus Christ says will happen. They wil come into being for you. 

 The Greek word carries the sense of something being born, something coming into existence that did not previously exist in the visible realm. 

 The thing you demand rooted in the Word that abides in you will be given birth by God. It will come into being. Not might come into being. Not will come into being if the circumstances are right. 

Will come into being because the living Word that is abiding in you is a seed.

 And seeds that are planted in the right soil by the right gardener produce exactly what they were designed to produce without exception. Think about the condition Jesus sets. "If my words abide in you," not if you have read my words, not if you are familiar with my words. 

 If they abide in you, if they have taken up residence in your spirit the way a seed takes up residence in soil, if they are so thoroughly embedded in your inner man that they govern your thinking and your speaking and your decision making automatically and not just when you are being intentional about it, the Word abiding in you is not a devotional state you achieve through sufficient Bible reading. It is a condition of the inner man that is produced through sustained consistent meditation on the Word until the Word becomes more natural to your spirit than the circumstances of your life are to your senses. And when that condition is achieved, when the Word genuinely abides in you, what you demand, comes into being. Because what you demand will be what the Word demands through you. 

And the Word is a living thing that always produces after its own kind. 

Right now, type this in the comments. The Word abides in me. What I demand in alignment with the living Word comes into being. 

Now, let me show you what this means in the area where most Christians feel the furthest from this reality. The area of consistent daily word intake. and what it actually produces in the inner man over time. 

The average believer has an inconsistent relationship with the Word. 

 They read it when they feel like it, skip it when they are busy, engage it deeply in seasons of crisis, and superficially in seasons of relative comfort. 

And because the relationship is inconsistent, the Word never achieves the abiding condition Jesus described. 

It visits their mind but never takes up residence in their spirit. It informs them but never transforms them. It gives them something to think about but never becomes the governing reality from which they automatically think, speak and decide. 

The believer who decides to change this, who commits to a sustained, systematic, unhurried engagement with the Word, not as a religious discipline, but as the primary means of building a   living force into their inner man, begins to experience something that is very difficult to describe to someone who has not experienced it.

 The Word starts to become alive to them in a way it never was before. 

Passages they have read dozens of times suddenly carry a weight and a specificity that was not there  previously. The Holy Spirit who wrote the Word and who lives in the believer begins to illuminate specific passages with a precision that speaks directly to specific situations. 

And gradually over weeks and months of consistent engagement, the Word moves from the page into the spirit, from information into identity, from something they know about into something they know. And when that shift happens, everything changes. 

Because now the Word is abiding. And when the Word is abiding, what they demand comes into being.

 Think about what Psalm 107: 20 says. He sent His Word and healed them. 

The Word was sent. It was dispatched like a living messenger into a specific situation with a specific assignment and it accomplished the assignment. 

It healed them because that is what living things do when they are released into the right environment. 

Your mouth is the mechanism by which the Word is sent into your specific situation.

When you speak the Word over your body, you are sending a living healing force into your physical situation with a specific assignment. 

 When you speak the Word over your finances, you are sending a living provision force into your financial situation. 

 When you speak the Word over your relationships, your children, your workplace, your future, you are  dispatching a living, active, intelligent force that has the same creative power that spoke the worlds into existence and that carries the same life that raised Jesus from the dead. 

This is not metaphor. This is the nature of the Word as the Bible describes it. 

Let me show you the practical implications for prayer specifically because John 15:7 is set in the context of a prayer promise.

 And the way you pray changes completely when you understand that the Word abiding in you turns your prayer from petition into demand. 

Not arrogant demand, not presumptuous demand, but the confident demand of a son or daughter who knows exactly what their Father has promised and exactly what legal basis they have for claiming it. The average Christian prays in the language of uncertainty. 

 Lord, if it is your will, Father, I am asking you to please consider God, I hope you might be able to. And that language, however sincere, is the language of  someone who does not know what the Word says or who knows what it says but does not believe it is personally applicable to their specific situation. 

 It is the language of someone in whose spirit the Word has not yet abided because the Word abiding in you produces a different kind of prayer entirely.  It produces prayer that begins with what God has already declared that finds the specific promise for the specific situation, stands on it as a living thing and releases it into the situation as a demand that must be met because the living Word that backs it cannot fail.

You are facing a specific challenge right now. There is a specific area of your life where you need something to come into being that does not currently exist in the visible realm. 

The natural facts say it is not there. The circumstances argue against it. The sense knowledge report is clear and it is not good. 

And the Word has something specific to say about your specific situation. 

Find it. Not a general comfort verse that makes you feel better emotionally. 

The specific promise that addresses the specific need and then release it as a living thing into your situation. 

Not once, not as a formula, but as someone planting a seed with full expectation of a harvest. Planting it deliberately, watering it with consistent confession, protecting it from the frost of doubt and wrong confession, and expecting with settled confidence that what was planted will come into being because living seeds always produce living results.

Acts 20:32 records apostle Paul's farewell to the Ephesian elders and the resource he commends them to is extraordinary. 

 He says, "I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace which is able to build you up and give you the inheritance among all who are sanctified." The Word of His grace, the living Word is able to build you up, not inform you, but build you. 

The same way a building is constructed from materials that were not previously a building, the Word constructs something in your inner man that was not there before. Faith, identity, authority, the settled knowing of what you are in Christ, the unshakable confidence that what God has promised, He is able also to perform. 

This building process is the work of the Word abiding in you over time. It is not instantaneous. It is not produced by a single dramatic encounter. It is the steady, consistent, sustained work of the living Word building itself into your spirit until you are genuinely different. Until the person who faces the next crisis is not the same person who faced the last one. 

Because in the interval the Word has been building and what has been built is stronger than what was there before. There is absolutely no limit to the ability of God, that is unveiled to us in His Word. 

 That is the statement and it is the most important sentence in the entire source material for this teaching. No limit.

 The Word does not reach a ceiling. It does not run out of creative force. It does not have a maximum level of transformation it can produce in a human life or a maximum level of intervention it can produce in a natural situation. The only limits that exist are the ones imposed by the believer's unwillingness to take the Word seriously enough to let it abide, to speak it consistently, to act on it before the circumstances cooperate. 

 Remove those limits. Let the Word abide. Speak it. Act on it. 

And what Jesus described in John 15:7 becomes the governing reality of your life. [“If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” It connects answered prayer to staying connected to Jesus and keeping His words in you.]

What you demand comes into being.

 Not occasionally. Not when the atmosphere is right.

 Consistently because the living Word consistently   produces living results. 

Stop treating the Word like a book. Start releasing it like the living force it is. 

Stop reading it for information and start planting it as seed. 

Stop hoping God might act and start demanding what the abiding Word gives you the right to demand. 

Find the promise for your specific situation. 

 Plant it in your spirit through consistent meditation. Release it into your circumstances through consistent confession and expect it to come into being because living seeds planted in faith always produce exactly what they were designed to produce. 

The Word is alive. It is in you. It is waiting to be released. Live like it. 

You have been afraid to be what God made you. Not afraid in the dramatic sense. 

 Not cowering in a corner. Not running from God, afraid in the subtle, socially acceptable, religiously endorsed sense of pulling back from the full declaration of what the Word says you are in Christ. Because you do not want to seem arrogant, because you do not want people to think you have gone too far. Because the church has spent so long teaching you about your weakness and your unworthiness and your inability that standing up and saying what God actually says about you feels presumptuous. 

And that fear, that socially comfortable, religiously sanctioned, completely understandable fear has kept you living in the outer courts of a redemption that gave you access to everything. This is one of the most precise and most painful observations in all of people's life. 

 We have been taught so long and so persistently about our weaknesses and our lack of ability and our unworthiness that we hardly dare say that we are what He says we are. Read that again.

 We hardly dare say what He says. The One who created the universe, who planned your redemption before the foundation of the world, who gave His Son to purchase your complete and total deliverance from everything that had dominion over you. 

That One has declared in His Word, exactly what you are in His Son, and you are afraid to agree with HIM out loud because someone might think you have gone too far. The irony is staggering. 

 The humility that keeps you from declaring what God has declared about you is not humility at all. It is a subtle form of unbelief that denies the work of Christ by refusing to acknowledge its results.

 Ephesians chapter 1 verse 7 says, "In HIM we have our redemption through His blood, the remission of our trespasses according to the riches of His grace." This is not a theological position. This is not apostle Paul's philosophical framework. This is the FATHER'S own description of what you are in His Son. 

And the FATHER does not use the language of hope or possibility or potential. He uses the language of possession. 

We have our redemption. Present tense, current reality already, accomplished already, yours already. The defining fact of your existence in Christ. 

The redemption is not something you are working toward. It is something you are in. And what that  redemption delivered you from is so comprehensive that when you fully grasp it, the idea of living in weakness and defeat and bondage becomes not just unnecessary but genuinely absurd. 

What were you redeemed from? Let the Word answer that precisely. 

You were redeemed out of Satan's dominion, out of the realm and authority of darkness, as Colossians chapter 1 verse 13 declares, translated into the kingdom of God's beloved Son.

Colossians 1:13 describes God rescuing believers from the power of darkness and bringing them into the kingdom of His Son, Jesus, through whom they receive redemption and forgiveness of sins.

 Not partially transferred, not conditionally relocated,  completely delivered out of one kingdom and completely placed in another. The authority of darkness over your life was not weakened at new birth. It was ended legally, completely, finally ended. Satan is not the weakened ruler of a territory you used to live in. He is the ruler of a territory you have permanently left. 

And his authority over you left with you when you left. You were redeemed out of the dominion of sin. Romans chapter 6 verse14 does not say sin's dominion over you was reduced or that it became harder for sin to control you or that with sufficient effort you could resist its pull more consistently. It says sin shall not have dominion over you. Shall not, future, absolute negative. 

 This is not a goal you are working toward. This is a legal reality you are standing in. The dominion of sin over the new creation is broken. Not weakened. Not diminished. Broken.

    Because the new creation does not have the old nature that sin had dominion over. The old man was crucified with Christ. 

  As Romans chapter 6 verse 6 declares, "What sin had dominion over is dead." And you cannot have dominion over a dead man. 

You were redeemed out of the authority of disease. Romans chapter 8 verse 11 says, "The SPIRIT who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. And He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His SPIRIT who dwells in you." 

 Give life to your mortal body, your physical, natural, currently in this world body through the same SPIRIT that overcame death itself. Disease does not have authority over a body that is the temple of that SPIRIT. Sickness does not have legal standing in a body through which resurrection life is flowing. The authority of disease over you was included in what the redemption ended and the indwelling Holy Spirit is the ongoing guarantee of that ending operating in your physical body right now.

Friend, if you are beginning to see that the redemption did not just forgive you and leave you to manage the rest, that it delivered you completely out of every dominion that had authority over your life and placed you in a kingdom where none of those dominions can legally follow. Say "amen" right now because what I'm about to show you will give you the language, the authority, and the settled conviction to stand up and be what God made you without apology and without pulling back. 

And write ✍🏽 these words right now, l am what He says l am. I have my redemption. Satan has no dominion over the new creation. And I am the new creation.

 Now let me show you the name because this is where the practical authority of everything I have just described becomes operational in your daily life. 

The redemption established what you are. 

The name gives you the instrument to enforce it.

 Philippians chapter 2: verses 9 and 10 says, "God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.

All created beings in heaven, beings on earth and beings under the earth." 

Every knee, no exceptions, no beings in any realm who are exempt from the authority of that name. Every created being in the entire universe, angelic, human, demonic, is subject to that name. It is the highest legal authority in existence. 

And Jesus seven times in the Gospel of John gave you the power of attorney to use it. Seven times. He did not mention it once as an interesting theological point. He repeated it seven times because he  wanted you to understand that this was not a peripheral privilege. It was a central essential governing reality of your life in HIM. 

Think about what power of attorney actually means in the legal world. When someone gives you power of attorney, they are giving you the legal right to act in their name with the same authority they themselves possess. 

Every document you sign in their name carries the same legal weight as if they signed it themselves. Every decision you make in their name is as binding as if they made it themselves. 

The authority is not yours by nature. It flows from  the one whose name you carry, but it is fully real, fully legal, and fully operative when you use it within the scope of the authority granted. 

Jesus gave you power of attorney over His name. Every time you speak in the name of Jesus, every command you give to sickness, to the enemy, to circumstances, it carries the same authority as if Jesus himself were speaking, not similar authority, the same authority because it is His name and He authorized you to use it. 

This is why Jesus said in John 16 : 24, "Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name. Ask and receive that your joy may be made full." He was not describing a new prayer formula. He was describing   a new legal reality that the redemption had created before the cross. No one had the right to use His name in this way because the legal basis for that right, the finished work of the cross had not yet been established. 

After the cross, after the resurrection, after the ascension to the right hand of the FATHER, the legal basis was complete and the power of attorney was activated. 

 And Jesus said, "Use it." Not occasionally, not timidly, not with the hesitation of someone who is not sure the authority is real. Use it until your joy is made full.

 Right now, write these words on a piece of paper and keep referring to it ; Jesus gave me power of attorney over His name. I use it boldly and every knee bows to that name when I speak it. 

Now, let me address the specific fear that we identified and that keeps most believers from walking in this reality. The fear of being seen as arrogant, as fanatical, as having gone too far. Because this fear is real and it is socially enforced in most Christian communities. And if I do not address it directly, it will function as the escape hatch that lets you receive this teaching intellectually without ever acting on it. The present church has created a culture in which spiritual humility is demonstrated by consistently minimizing what God has done in you and consistently emphasizing your weakness, your inadequacy, your dependence on God. 

 And the second part of that is right. You are absolutely dependent on God. 

But the first part is catastrophically wrong.   Minimizing what God has done in you is not humility before God. It is an implicit denial of the completeness of His work. 

When you say, "I'm just a sinner saved by grace." as though the salvation stopped at the saving and left you essentially unchanged. 

You are contradicting second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 which says if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold all things have become new. You are not a sinner saved by grace. You are a new creation who was once a sinner. The distinction is not semantic. It is the difference between an identity rooted in what you were and an identity rooted in what God has made you. And the identity you confess is the identity you live from. 

I say here is something that cuts right through this false humility. 

To deny what we are, to tell what Satan is doing in our bodies and minds is denying what we are in Christ. When you talk more about your weakness than about His strength in you, you are not being humble, you are being inaccurate. 

 When you describe what the enemy is doing in your life with more detail and more conviction than you describe what Christ has done in your redemption, you are not being honest. You are elevating the enemy's work above God's work and calling it realism. 

 The accurate confession, the truthful one, the one that glorifies God rather than the one that makes you seem appropriately modest, is the one that says what He says. I am a new creation.  I have my redemption. Sin has no dominion over me. Disease has no authority over my body. Satan has no   dominion over this new creation. I have the power of attorney over the name that is above every name. 

That is not arrogance. That is agreement with the FATHER'S own description of what you are in His Son. 

Let me show you what this looks like practically in the situation most believers find the hardest. The situation where the natural facts most loudly contradict what the Word declares about your identity. 

You are going through a season where everything in your natural experience seems to argue against what I have just described. 

The sickness is present. The financial pressure is real. The relationship is broken. The sin pattern has reasserted itself.

 And the voice that says, "Who do you think you are to declare all of this when your life looks like this?" is loud and it feels legitimate because it is pointing at real facts. This is precisely the moment where the  confession of what you are in Christ is most critical and most powerful. 

Not because it denies the natural facts, but because it refuses to let the natural facts be the governing authority over your identity. 

Abraham's body was as good as dead. The natural facts of his situation were as loudly contradictory as yours. And Romans 4:17 says, "He believed in God who gives life to the dead and calls things that do not exist as though they did. He confessed what God said about him, that he was a father of many nations in the face of natural facts that said the opposite." And the natural facts eventually conform to the confession because the confession was built on the Word of God which is a higher order of reality than any natural fact. 

You do the same thing, not in denial of what you are facing but in full knowledge that what you are in Christ is more real, more permanent, and  more powerful than anything your circumstances are reporting. 

You look at the sickness and you say, "I have my redemption. The SPIRIT who raised Jesus from the dead lives in me and gives life to my mortal body. Disease has no authority over this body and I declare the life of God operating in me." 

Now you look at the financial pressure and you say, "I have my redemption. God supplies every need according to His riches and glory. Satan has no dominion over my provision and I declare the abundance of the KINGDOM operating in my  finances. "

Now you look at the sin pattern and you say, "I have my redemption. Sin shall not have dominion over me. The old man who is subject to this is dead. I am the new creation and I live from my new nature." 

Now these declarations are not positive thinking. 

 They are the FATHER'S own description of what you are in His Son spoken back into the atmosphere of your life with the full conviction of someone who has decided to believe what God says rather than what the circumstances say. 

Here is what I want you to understand about the phrase :  We are a part of His very dream. 

 Before the foundation of the world, before a single atom of the universe existed, Creator-God dreamed of you. He planned the redemption that would make you what you are. He designed the new creation before there was anything to create. He imagined you in Christ complete, whole, righteous, delivered, free, carrying His name, operating in His authority, living from His nature. And then he executed that dream through the cross and the resurrection and the new birth. 

 You are not an afterthought. You are not a work in progress that God hopes will eventually approximate what He had in mind. You are the dream realized. The finished work, finished something. And what it finished is you in Christ as a new creation, with the full redemption,  with the full authority of the name, with the full indwelling of the Holy Spirit, with every dominion that had authority over you broken, and every resource of heaven committed to you. What masters he has made us to be. That is revelational language and it is the right language. 

Not what victims He has left us to be. 

Not what struggling sinners He has forgiven and left to manage their weakness as best they can. 

He made us Masters. Not beggars.

 People who govern their world from the inside out rather than being governed by it from the outside in. People who speak to circumstances with the authority of the name. People who enforce the redemption in every area of their life with the settled confidence of someone who knows exactly what was purchased and exactly what it cost and exactly what it means for their daily life of His fullness have we all received. 

As John chapter 1 verse 16 declares, not a portion, not a measure appropriate to our spiritual development, the fullness, everything He Is and everything He has, and everything He accomplished is available to you in Christ right now. 

 The open door described is standing open right now, inviting you to come in and enjoy all the fullness that is yours in HIM. Not to admire it from the outside. Not to theologically affirm it while practically living as though it does not apply to you. To come in and live from it. To be what He made you. To say what He says about you. To act in the face of every natural contradiction as though the Word of God is more real than the circumstances because it is. 

Stop being afraid to be what God made you. 

Stop pulling back from the full declaration of what the Word says you are because someone might misunderstand. 

Stop confessing your weakness when He has declared your redemption. 

Stop describing what the enemy is doing when you could be declaring what Christ has done. 

You are the new creation. Satan has no dominion over you. 

You have the power of attorney over the name that is above every name. 

You are part of His very dream, realized and complete in Christ. 

Now, rise up and take your place. 

 Live like it. 

Your angel has been standing at attention since the day you were born again. Fully equipped, fully  authorized, fully ready to move on your behalf. And in most Christians lives, he is almost entirely inactive. 

Not because God failed to send him, not because the assignment was revoked, not because the enemy overpowered him, because the one thing that activates angelic assistance in your life has been almost entirely absent from your Christian experience. And nobody told you what that one thing was. Your angel is not waiting on your desperation. He is not waiting on your emotional state. He is not waiting on the intensity of your worship or the length of your prayer or the sincerity of your tears. 

 He is waiting on your words.

   Specifically, he is waiting on the Word of God coming out of your mouth. And the average Christian has been giving him almost nothing to work with. 

Psalm chapter 103 verse 20 is one of the most practically significant verses in the entire Bible for understanding how angelic assistance actually operates and it is one of the most consistently misread. It says, "Bless the Lord, you His angels who excel in strength, who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His Word." Read that last phrase again. 

Hearkening to the voice of His Word, not hearkening to your desperate prayers, not responding to your emotional distress signals, hearkening to the voice of His Word. 

The angels are tuned to one frequency, the   frequency of the spoken Word of God. And when that Word goes out of your mouth, when you open your mouth and speak what God has said over your situation, your body, your finances, your family, the angels who are assigned to your life hear it and they move, they execute, they enforce, they carry out in the natural realm what the spoken Word has established in the spiritual realm. 

And when your mouth is silent or when it is filled with the wrong words,  with fear confessions and doubt confessions and sense knowledge reports  about how bad things are, they have nothing to work with. They are standing at attention waiting for a command that is not coming. This is not a minor periphera doctrine. This is a governing principle of how the kingdom of God operates in the earth and the present modern church has almost entirely lost it. 

The average believer thinks of angels the way they think of distant historical figures. 

Fascinating, real in a theological sense, occasionally relevant in dramatic crisis situations where God needs to intervene supernaturally. They do not think of their angel as a present, active, specifically assigned, fully equipped spiritual being who is standing by right now, waiting for the Word coming out of their mouth to give him something to work with. And because they do not think of him that way, they do not speak in a way that activates him. They go through their entire Christian life with one of God's most powerful provisions for their protection, their provision, and their breakthrough sitting largely unused. Not because they rejected it, but because they never knew it was there and they never knew how it worked. 

 Hebrews chapter 1 verse 14 asks the question directly, are angels not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? For those who will inherit salvations, that is you. They were sent for you. Not dispatched occasionally in emergency situations.  Angels are sent, assigned, deployed on your behalf as a standing provision of the redemption Christ purchased. 

The same redemption that gave you righteousness, healing, provision, and authority also gave you angelic assistance. It is part of the divine package. It was included in the finished work. 

And like every other provision of the finished work, it is accessed not by begging God to send it, but by knowing it is already there and operating in alignment with how it works. 

  Think about what it means that these beings excel in strength as Psalm 103 describes them. The word in the Hebrew language carries the sense of mighty, powerful, heroic strength.  Strength that is categorically beyond anything in the natural realm. These are not gentle spiritual presences hovering around you offering comfort. These are mighty warriors created by God with a capacity for strength and power that dwarfs anything the natural world contains. 

 Assigned to your life, standing by right now, waiting for the Word coming out of your mouth to activate them. And the average Christian is walking through their daily life facing financial pressure, facing health challenges,  facing spiritual attack, facing situations that are genuinely beyond their natural capacity to handle, completely unaware that they have this resource standing by, and completely unaware of how to access it. 

If you are beginning to see that your angel is not a distant theological concept, but a present, assigned, fully equipped right now resource that your words either activate or leave dormant. Read on, because what I am about to show you will permanently change the way you speak, the way you pray, and the way you face every challenge in your life. Knowing that heaven's assistance is standing by waiting for the Word coming out of your mouth and write on a piece of paper, right now; My angel excels in strength and hearkens to the voice of God's Word in my mouth. I activate heaven's assistance with my confession. 

Now, let me show you exactly how this works in scripture because this cannot stay at the level of principle. It has to connect to the specific mechanics of how angelic activation operates because once you see the mechanics clearly, the practical application becomes obvious. 

 Daniel chapter 10 gives you one of the most detailed behind the scenes pictures of angelic activity in the entire Bible. 

 And it reveals something about the relationship between prayer, the spoken Word, and angelic response that most believers have never fully grasped. 

 Daniel had been praying and fasting for 21 days. On the 21st day, an angel appeared to him and said something extraordinary. 

 From the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words from the first day. The moment Daniel opened his mouth and spoke, heaven responded. 

 The angel was dispatched immediately. 

 The answer was already in motion from day one. The 21 days of warfare that delayed the angel's arrival were not God being slow to respond. They were the enemy's resistance to what Daniel's words had set in motion. And the moment the Archangel Michael came to help, the resistance was overcome and the angel broke through. 

Think about what that reveals. Daniel's words on day one dispatched angelic assistance. The enemy knew it and threw everything he had at stopping the delivery. And Daniel's consistent, sustained, word-based prayer over 21 days maintained the assignment until the breakthrough came. This is the picture of how it works. 

Your words set angelic activity in motion. The enemy contests it. Your sustained confession maintains the assignment and the angel enforces the outcome in the natural realm. The entire sequence is initiated and maintained by your words. 

Which means the believer who speaks the Word consistently, who maintains their confession through the period of apparent delay, who refuses to go silent or to switch from the Word to the fear confession when the manifestation does not appear immediately is the believer whose angelic assistance stays active and whose breakthrough eventually comes.

  And the believer who speaks the Word once and then retreats into silence or wrong confession has   effectively recalled the angel before the assignment could be completed. This explains something that has confused Christians for generations. Why some believers seem to walk in consistent supernatural assistance and others who are equally sincere and equally devoted seem to face everything alone. It is not favoritism. It is not a mystery of divine sovereignty. It is the principle of Psalm 103 verse 20 operating consistently in both lives. The angels are hearkening to the voice of the Word and one believer is consistently giving them something to  hearken to, while the other is not. 

Right now, write ✍🏽 this on a piece of paper: From the first day I speak the Word, heaven responds.   My words activate angelic assistance and I maintain my confession until the breakthrough comes. 

Now, let me show you what this looks like in the specific practical situations where most believers are facing challenges that are genuinely beyond their natural capacity to handle. Because this is where the reality of angelic assistance stops being theological and starts being the most immediately relevant truth you have ever heard. You are in a dangerous situation. It could be physical danger. 

 A late night drive on an icy road, a neighbourhood that is not safe, a health situation that has the potential to deteriorate rapidly.

 Most Christians in those situations pray a general prayer asking God for protection and then engage their natural senses to monitor the threat level and respond accordingly. They are operating entirely in the natural realm relying entirely on natural capacity with no conscious awareness of the supernatural protection that is standing by. 

Psalm chapter 91 verses 11 and 12 says, "God will give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways, to bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone." That is not poetry about God's general goodwill toward you. That is a description of specific angelic assignment with a specific protective function. 

But notice the context of Psalm 91. It is the psalm of the one who dwells in the secret place of the Most High who abides under the shadow of the Almighty who says of the LORD, He is my refuge and my   fortress. The angelic protection is operating in the context of a life that is consistently declaring the Word. The confession and the protection are connected.

 I dwell in the secret place. God is my refuge. No evil shall befall me and no plague shall come near my dwelling. 

As verse 10 says, I declare this over my life and my family right now and I activate the angelic protection that the Word has promised. 

 That declaration is not a ritual. It is not a magic formula. It is a believing one speaking the Word over their specific situation and activating the angelic assistance that is standing by waiting for exactly that. And the protection that follows is not coincidence. It is angels doing what they were assigned to do in response to the Word they were waiting to hear. 

Think about the financial situation. You are in a season of genuine financial pressure, not merely discomfort, but real crisis level need where the natural resources are genuinely insufficient. 

  Most Christians in that season direct all their energy toward natural solutions, working harder, cutting more expenses, looking for additional income streams, strategizing with every piece of natural wisdom available. And those things are not wrong. Wisdom in the natural realm is part of responsible stewardship. 

But they are doing all of that without activating the supernatural assistance that is standing by waiting for the Word coming out of their mouth. Hebrews 1:14 says, "The angels minister for those who inherit salvation." The word minister in the Greek is diaono.  The same word used for practical service and provision. Angels are involved in the practical provision of the believer's needs. They are not limited to dramatic supernatural interventions. 

 They operate in the natural realm, arranging circumstances, opening doors, connecting people, creating opportunities that natural reasoning could not have man manufactured. But they operate in response to the Word. 

So you speak the Word over your financial situation, not just as a confession of faith, but as an activation of the assistance that is assigned to your life. 

God supplies every need according to His riches and glory through Christ Jesus. As Philippians 4 verse 19 declares, "I speak this Word over my finances right now. I activate the angelic assistance assigned to my life. I declare that provision is coming from every direction and I expect doors to open that no natural strategy could have opened. 

 And then you watch because the believer who speaks that word consistently, who maintains it through the days and weeks when the natural situation has not yet shifted, will begin to see things happen that natural reasoning cannot account for. A phone call that comes out of nowhere, a connection that forms without any apparent cause, an opportunity that presents itself from a direction nobody was looking. 

These are not coincidences. 

These are angels doing what Psalm 103:20 says they do. Excelling in strength, executing the Word, working in the natural realm to bring into visible manifestation what the spoken Word established in the invisible realm. 

  Let me show you one more dimension of this that has enormous practical significance. 

In the area of your children and your family.  Every parent who is watching their child go through something difficult, a health challenge, a spiritual struggle, a dangerous season of rebellion, a situation where the child is beyond the parent's reach and beyond the parents' ability to directly influence, knows the particular anguish of that helplessness. 

 You cannot be there. You cannot control what is happening. You cannot protect them the way you want to. And most Christian parents respond to that helplessness with anxious prayer and worried monitoring which is understandable but which is not activating the most powerful resource available to them. 

Matthews 18:10 says, to take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. 

Children have angels, specifically assigned angels, who have direct access to the Father, who always see His face, meaning they are in continuous communication with the throne of God on behalf of the children they are assigned to. Your child's angel is standing by, right now. And the parent who speaks the Word over their child, who opens their mouth and declares the promises of God over their child's life, their child's health, their child's spiritual protection, their child's future is activating that angel. Write these words on a piece of paper, right now.

I declare the Word of God over my child(ren) right now. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. Angels are assigned to them and those angels always see the face of my Father. I speak protection, wisdom, and the drawing of the Holy Spirit over my child's life. In the name of Jesus Christ, I activate heaven's assistance over every situation my child(ren) is facing that I cannot reach. 

That is not helpless, worried prayer. That is a parent operating in the authority and the knowledge of how the KINGDOM works, activating the supernatural assistance that is already assigned to their child(ren) and waiting for the Word to give it direction. 

Here is the full picture I want you to carry out of this teaching.

 You are not alone. You have never been alone. From the day you were born again, a mighty being who excels in strength was assigned to your life with one job to hearken to the voice of God's Word and execute it in your natural circumstances. 

 Every provision you need, every protection you require, every breakthrough that is beyond your natural capacity to engineer, angelic assistance is part of how God delivers it. It was included in the finished work. It was part of the redemption package. It is as available to you as healing and provision and authority. 

 And it is accessed the same way all of those are accessed through the Word, through your mouth, through the consistent, sustained, faith filled speaking of what God has said over every area of your life. Your angel has been at attention since the day you were born again. He is at attention right now. He excels in strength. He is fully equipped. He is fully authorized. He is listening for one thing. The voice of God's Word coming out of your mouth. 

 Give him something to work with. Open your mouth 👄. Speak 🗣️ the Word. Declare it over your body, your finances, your family, your situation, your future. 

Speak it consistently. Maintain it through the apparent delay. Do not go silent when the natural situation has not yet shifted because Daniel's angel was dispatched on day one, and the enemy spent 21 days trying to stop the delivery. 

 Your sustained confession is what keeps the assignment active until the breakthrough comes. 

 Stop leaving your angel with nothing to work with. Start giving heaven something to respond to. 

Live like it. 

While you were sleeping last night, your spirit was active, not resting, not dormant, not suspended in the same unconscious state as your body. 

 Active, processing, receiving, communicating. 

The born-again spirit does not sleep because it carries a life that is not subject to the biological rhythms that govern the natural man. It is energized by eternal life, the Zoe life of God Himself. And eternal life does not have an off switch. It does not power down at night and reboot in the morning. It operates continuously in the background of your consciousness doing things in the spiritual realm that your waking natural mind is almost entirely unaware of. And the tragedy, the quietly devastating, completely unnecessary tragedy, is that most believers wake up every morning having been in the presence of God all night through their spirit, and having no idea how to access what was communicated, what was deposited, what was unveiled, while the sense realm was quiet enough for the spirit to operate without interference. 

 This is one of the most practical and most underdeveloped areas of Christian living. And the reason it is underdeveloped is the same reason every area of spirit governed living is underdeveloped in the average believer. 

The dominance of sense knowledge over every other form of knowing. The contemporary church has trained believers to relate to Father God almost exclusively through the sense realm, through what they hear in a sermon, what they feel in a worship service, what they see in a dramatic supernatural encounter. And those things are real and valuable, but they are not the primary channel through which the Holy Spirit communicates with the believer's inner man. The primary channel is the spirit, the born-again inner man that is in direct continuous unmediated contact with the Holy Spirit who indwells it. 

 And the five-sense realm with all its noise and demand and constant input is precisely what makes it difficult to  hear what the spirit is receiving through that channel. 

 Sleep changes the equation. When the body is at rest and the sense realm is quiet, the spirit does not become less active. It becomes relatively more accessible. 

The noise that drowns it out during the day is reduced. The constant stream of sensory input that competes for your attention is suspended. And in that quieter environment, the communication that has been happening continuously in the spirit realm becomes more available to the part of your consciousness that can act on it. If you know how to listen, if you know what you are looking for and if you have developed the inner man enough to carry what was communicated across the threshold from sleep into waking. 

Job chapter 33 verses 14-16 says something that most Christians have read without grasping its full practical significance. It says God speaks once and twice. Yet man does not perceive it in a dream, in a vision of the night when deep sleep falls upon men in slumberings upon the bed. Then he opens the ears of men and seals their instruction. [For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.]

He opens the ears of men in the night. 

He seals instruction in the spirit during sleep. God is not limited to speaking through the waking mind. He specifically uses the hours of sleep as a time of divine communication precisely because the noise of the sense realm is reduced enough for the spirit to receive what the waking mind would filter out. 

  And the believer who wakes up every morning and immediately reaches for their phone, immediately begins processing the demands of the day,   immediately floods the sense realm with new input. Yeah, that believer is consistently overwriting what was communicated in the night before they have had any opportunity to receive it. 

Numbers chapter 12 verse 6 records God Himself describing how He speaks to prophets in visions, in dreams. {he said, "Listen to my words: "When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.}

He speaks with them. Joel chapter 2 verse 28. The passage that Peter quotes on the day of  Pentecost as being fulfilled in the new Covenant says, "Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your old men shall dream dreams. Your young men shall see visions." This is new covenant language. This is not  describing a spiritual elite with a special prophetic gift. This is describing the normal experience of believers who are living from their spirit rather than from their senses, who have developed the inner man enough to receive what the spirit is communicating in the night and to carry it accurately into the waking hours.

 If you are beginning to see that the hours of your sleep are not a spiritual blank, that your spirit has been active all night receiving communication from the Holy Spirit, that your waking sense dominated mind has been consistently missing. 

Read on, right now because what I am about to show you will teach you to listen to what your spirit has been trying to tell you to receive what God has been depositing in the night and to carry the instructions sealed in your spirit during sleep into the governing reality of your waking life. 

And write ✍🏽 these words down, right now; My spirit never sleeps. The Holy Spirit communicates with my inner man through the night and I am learning to  receive what He deposits. 

Now let me show you the mechanics of how this works because this is not mysticism and it is not the pursuit of experiences for their own sake. It is the practical development of the spirit's capacity to   receive and to communicate what it receives to the waking conscious mind. 

  And understanding the mechanics is what separates the believer who grows in this area from the one who remains perpetually unaware of what their spirit is processing. 

The first thing to understand is the distinction between the spirit, the soul and the body in the context of sleep. 

Your body sleeps. Its biological processes slow. Its sensory functions suspend. Its capacity for conscious experience diminishes. 

Your soul, the seed of your mind, will and emotions partially suspends. Though it continues to process in ways that produce the experience of dreaming.

 But your spirit does not sleep. It cannot sleep because the life it carries is eternal life. The Zoe life of God. 

And eternal life is by definition not subject to biological limitation. 

1 Corinthians chapter 6:17 says, "The person who is joined to the LORD becomes one spirit with HIM." You are joined to the Lord at the level of your spirit and the Lord does not sleep. 

Psalm chapter 121 verse 4 says, "He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps." You are one spirit with the God who never sleeps. 

 Your spirit therefore is in continuous active communion with the God who is continuously awake and continuously communicating. This means the question is never whether God is speaking during the night. The question is whether you are positioned to receive what is being communicated and to bring it across into your waking awareness. 

And that positioning has two dimensions. The preparation before sleep and the practice of receiving upon waking. 

The preparation before sleep is something most believers have never considered as a spiritual discipline. And it is one of the most practically significant things you can do for the development of your spirit and for the quality of what you receive in the night. 

What you put into your spirit in the final hours before sleep is what your spirit processes in the first hours of sleep.

 If the last thing you do before sleeping is fill your mind with the noise and the anxiety and the five sense knowledge input of news, media, social media, entertainment, and the unresolved worries of the day. That is the material your soul will be processing and your spirit will be working with through the night. 

But if the last thing you do before sleeping is fill your spirit with the Word, if you read the Word slowly and meditatively before sleep, if you speak the Word over your life and your family, if you quiet the five sense realm and consciously turn your inner attention to the Holy Spirit who lives in you, you are giving your spirit living seed to work with through the hours of sleep. You are setting the agenda for the night's communion. And what your spirit processes from living seed produces living results that you carry into the morning. 

Psalm 4:4 says, "Commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still." Still your five senses.

Psalm 63:6 says, "David meditated on God through the night watches." 

Psalm chapter 119 verse 148 says the psalmist's eyes anticipated the night watches that he might meditate on the Word. {My eyes anticipate the night watches and I awake before the call of the watchman, That I may meditate on Your Word.}

These are not descriptions of insomnia dressed in religious language. These are descriptions of a deliberate spiritual practice of turning the inner man toward God in the hours of rest, of giving the spirit something to commune with, something to process, something to carry into the morning from the realm where God speaks most clearly to the inner man.

 Right now, write ✍🏽 these words on a piece of paper; I set the agenda for my night with the Word. My spirit processes living seed through my sleep and I wake up carrying what God deposited. 

 Now let me show you the practice of receiving upon waking because this is the hinge point where most believers lose everything that was communicated in the night. 

The first minutes of waking are the most spiritually critical minutes of the entire day. They are the time narrow window in which what was communicated in the spirit during the night is most accessible to the waking conscious mind before the sense realm floods back in. 

Before the demands of the day reassert themselves. Before the noise of natural life drowns out the quieter signal of the spirit. And most believers spend those minutes in exactly the way most guaranteed to close that window as quickly as possible. They reach for their phone. They check their notifications. They turn on the news. They begin mentally rehearsing the day's agenda.

   And in doing so, they flood the sense realm with new input that immediately overwrites whatever the spirit was carrying from the night. 

The believer who wants to receive what their spirit has been processing through the night does something different in those first minutes. They resist the pull of the sense realm and they stay in the quieter space of the waking spirit for long enough to receive. Not through elaborate spiritual technique, not through a specific formula, through the simple practice of lying still for a few minutes upon waking and attending to what is already present in the inner man before the outer man takes over. 

   Sometimes what is present is a word, a specific word or phrase or scripture that surfaces from the spirit with a clarity and an immediacy that is different from deliberate thought. 

  Sometimes it is an impression, a sense of direction, a settled knowing about a specific situation, a peace or an unease about a particular decision.

 Sometimes it is the memory of a dream that carries genuine spiritual weight rather than the random noise of soul level processing. 

 And the believer who has learned to distinguish between these to recognize the difference between what is coming from the spirit and what is coming from the soul has access to guidance, to wisdom, to specific divine communication that the sense believer never receives because they overwrite it before they have had a chance to notice it is there. 

     This is what it means to have ears to hear. Jesus said it repeatedly, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." He was not talking about physical ears.  Every person he said it to had physical ears. He was talking about a developed inner capacity for spiritual perception. 

 An inner man that is sensitive enough to the spirit's communication to receive it and a conscious mind that is quiet enough to notice what the inner man is receiving and that capacity is developed. 

It is not given fully formed at new birth. It grows through the consistent practice of attending to the spirit, of giving the Word to the spirit as material to work with, of honoring the inward witness, of learning to distinguish the spirit's communication from the soul's noise. 

  Think about the practical implications for the decisions you face. You have a significant decision in front of you. 

 One where the natural facts are ambiguous, where wise counsel is divided, where the rational analysis does not clearly point in one direction. 

Most believers in that situation exhaust the natural resources first. They gather more information. They seek more opinions. They analyze the options from every available angle. And when the natural resources are exhausted, they pray and hope for clarity that rarely comes in a form the sense mind can recognize and act on with confidence. 

 The believer who has learned to receive from the spirit does something different. They bring the decision to the Lord before sleep, not as a formal prayer exercise, but as a genuine turning of the spirit toward the One who knows the full picture. 

🗣️: Holy Spirit, I need wisdom about this. You know the end from the beginning. You know every dimension of this situation that I cannot see from where I stand. I am asking you to communicate what I need to know through my spirit in the night and I am committing to receive it in the morning. 

And then they sleep genuinely, restfully with the confidence of someone who has placed the question in capable hands. 

And in the morning, in those first quiet minutes before the sense realm takes over, they attend to what is present in the spirit. 

Sometimes the answer is there with a clarity that bypasses all the confusion of the natural analysis. 

  Sometimes it comes in pieces over several mornings. But it comes because James chapter 1 verse 5 says God gives wisdom generously to all who ask without finding fault. And the Holy Spirit who  lives in the believer is the spirit of wisdom as Isaiah 11: 2 describes HIM. [Isaiah 11:2 describes the Spirit of the Lord resting on the Messiah, bringing wisdom, understanding, counsel, strength, knowledge, and reverence for the Lord]

Let me show you what apostle Paul says about the spirit's activity and prayer because this connects the night dimension to the broader reality of the spirit operating beyond the limitations of the conscious mind. 

 Romans 8 :26 says, "The Spirit helps our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings, too deep for words." The Spirit intercedes with groanings too deep for words. 

 Communication that happens below the level of language, below the level of conscious thought in a realm that the natural mind cannot access or articulate. 

This intercession happens continuously. It does not suspend during sleep. In fact, the quieting of the natural mind during sleep may be precisely when this intercession is most unimpeded when the Holy Spirit within you is most freely carrying out the deep work of prayer that your conscious mind could not formulate or sustain on its own. 

1Corinthians 14:14 says that when a person prays in a tongue, their spirit prays, but their understanding is unfruitful. Meaning the spirit engages in a form of prayer that bypasses the rational mind entirely. 

This is a picture of the spirit operating in a mode that is independent of conscious mental engagement. It does not require the waking mind to formulate the prayer, to find the right words, to understand the full scope of what is being communicated. 

  The spirit prays in alignment with the Holy Spirit's own intercession and the result is prayer that is   perfectly calibrated to the actual need rather than limited to what the natural mind understands the need to be. 

This kind of prayer is available to the sleeping believer because it does not require wakefulness to operate. Your spirit is praying through the night in ways your natural mind will never fully understand. And the results of that prayer show up in your circumstances in ways that natural analysis cannot always trace back to their source. 

 Think about how this reframes the experience of waking up with an inexplicable sense of peace about a situation that was troubling you the night before or waking up with a clarity about a decision that was genuinely confusing when you went to sleep or  waking up with a sense of burden for a specific person that you had not been consciously thinking about. 

These are not random psychological phenomena. 

These are the residue of your spirit's activity through the night. The traces of communion, of intercession, of divine communication that your inner man was engaged in while the outer man rested. 

 The believer who recognizes these as spiritual communication and acts on them accordingly is drawing from a resource that most of the church goer has left almost entirely untapped. 

Proverbs chapter 20 verse 27 says, "The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts." The spirit is the lamp, the illuminating instrument through which God searches and reveals what is hidden in the deepest places. While you are sleeping, that lamp does not go out. It continues to burn, to illuminate, to search, to receive from the One who lit it. And every morning when you wake up, that lamp has been burning all night. 

The question is whether you give yourself enough time in the quiet of the early morning to see what it has been illuminating before the noise of the day extinguishes the visibility. 

Here is the practical framework I want you to take out of this teaching and begin implementing tonight.

 Before you sleep, give your spirit something to work with. 

 Read the Word slowly and meditatively. I handcopy the Bible verses, to slow down and meditate each written word.

 Speak it over your life. Bring any specific questions or decisions or needs to the Holy Spirit deliberately and consciously, asking HIM to communicate what you need through your spirit in the night. Thank HIM that He is active while you sleep, that your spirit is in communion with HIM through every hour of rest, that He is the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, who is committed to guiding you into all truth. As John  16:13 promises. {But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.}

When you wake up, protect the first minutes. Before the phone, before the news, before the day's agenda floods the sense realm, lie still for a few minutes and attend to what is already present in the spirit.

 Do not strain for it. Do not try to manufacture it.

 Simply be still and notice what surfaces in those first quiet moments with a clarity and a specificity that feels different from ordinary thought.

 Receive it. Write it down if necessary. Honour it by acting on it through the day. 

Because what surfaces in those moments is frequently the communication your spirit has been carrying from the night's communion with the Holy Spirit. And it is too valuable and too specifically calibrated to your actual situation to be overwritten by the first sensory input of the morning. 

 Your spirit has been speaking all night. 

 It has been in communion with the God who never sleeps. receiving wisdom for your decisions, interceding for your needs, processing the living Word you gave it before sleep, carrying the instruction that God sealed in your inner man in the hours of rest. 

The only question is whether you are positioned to receive it. Whether you protect the quiet enough to hear it. Whether you have developed the inner man enough to carry it from the spirit into the conscious waking life where it can govern your decisions and shape your day. 

Stop waking up and immediately handing the morning to the sense realm. 

 Start giving your spirit the first few minutes of every waking day. 

Start treating the night not as a spiritual blank, but as the hours of deepest communion, the hours when God speaks most clearly to the inner man. Because the noise that drowns him out during the day is finally quiet enough for the spirit to hear. He has been speaking all night. It is time to listen. Live like it. 

There is a version of Jesus that most Christians believe in that is too small to save them from anything. Not too small theologically. 

They would pass any doctrinal test you put in front of them. They would affirm the virgin birth, the resurrection, the ascension, the second coming. They have the right answers to every question about who Jesus is. 

And yet when the crisis hits, when the diagnosis comes, when the finances collapse, when the  relationship breaks, when the enemy applies pressure to the most vulnerable area of their life, they do not turn to HIM with the quiet, settled confidence of someone who knows exactly who they are dealing with. 

They turn to HIM the way you turn to someone you hope might help but are not entirely sure will. 

With desperation rather than assurance, with begging rather than believing, with the emotional intensity of someone making a last resort appeal rather than the calm authority of someone drawing on a resource they know is fully available and fully reliable. 

That is not a faith problem. That is a Jesus problem. 

 Specifically, it is the problem of an underestimated Jesus. And we identified this as the root cause of more Christian bondage, more spiritual defeat, more double-minded, vacasillating faith than almost any other single issue. [Vacasillating (often spelled vacillating) means changing your mind a lot. You cannot make a firm choice. You waver between different opinions or actions.]

Because when you underestimate Jesus, you simultaneously underestimate what he did, what you are as a result of what he did, and what the word he gave you actually means. The underestimation cascades through every dimension of your Christian life and produces a believer who says all the right things about God, but functionally lives as though he is not quite enough for the specific situation they are facing right now. 

 Think about the way most believers approach the Word. They will tell you without hesitation that they believe the Bible is the Word of God. They will affirm its inspiration, its authority, its truth, and then when a specific situation arises, a financial need, a health crisis, a relational breakdown, they turn to every human resource available before they turn to the Word. 

They call the doctor before they stand on 1 Peter 2 24.

 They call the financial advisor before they stand on Philippians 4:19. 

They ask 10 people for advice before they ask the Holy Spirit who lives inside them for wisdom. 

And the sequence itself reveals the unconscious  hierarchy of trust that governs their actual life. Human resources first, God's word as backup. That is not a conscious decision most believers would   endorse if you framed it explicitly, but it is the functional reality of how they live. 

And it is the direct consequence of an underestimated Jesus and an underestimated Word. 

I put my finger on something painfully precise when I said, "This is an unconscious underestimation of the integrity of the master himself who is the author of this Word." 

When you treat the Word of God with less confidence than you would treat the word of a   reliable banker, when you approach the promises of God with less assurance than you would approach a guaranteed financial instrument from a trusted institution, you are making an implicit statement about the trustworthiness of the One who made those promises. You are saying at the functional level that God's Word is less reliable than man's word. And that statement, however unconscious, however unintentional, produces exactly the outcome James chapter 1 verse 8 describes a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways because you cannot build a stable life on a foundation you are not entirely sure will hold.

 If you are beginning to see that the instability in your faith life is not a mystery and not a permanent feature of who you are, that it is the direct and predictable consequence of an underestimated Jesus and an underestimated Word that can be corrected through revelation. 

 Read on, right now because what l am about to show you will take you from the double-mindedness that has kept you cycling through the same doubts and fears and uncertainties to the settled unshakable crisis proof assurance of someone who knows exactly who Jesus is and exactly what that means for their life. 

And write these words on a piece of paper, right now ; Jesus Christ is not small. He is the mighty One at the right hand of the Father. And I approach His Word with the full confidence it deserves.

 Now, let me show you who Jesus actually is. Not theologically in the abstract, but practically in the specific. Because the cure for an underestimated Jesus is a correctly estimated Jesus.

 And the Word gives you the material for that estimation in extraordinary detail, if you know where to look and how to read what you find. Read here meaning to understand it's reality. 

Hebrews 7 verse 25 says He ever lives to make intercession for us. Most Christians read that as a comforting devotional truth. Jesus is praying for you. Which is nice. What it actually describes is something far more practically powerful than that. The word intercession in its legal context means advocacy. The activity of a legal representative who stands between you and every claim, every accusation, every legal challenge that could be brought against you in any realm. Jesus is not sitting at the right hand of the Father occasionally thinking about you. He is actively, continuously, permanently advocating for you. As your great lawyer who looks after every legal need in Christ, every accusation the enemy brings against you in the courts of heaven. Jesus answers. 

  Every claim the enemy makes against your health, your provision, your authority, your standing before God, Jesus counters with the evidence of His own blood and His own finished work. You are never unrepresented. 

  You are never without an advocate. And your advocate has never lost a case. 

 Think about what that does to the way you face accusation.  Whether it comes from the enemy directly, from other people or from your own conscience replaying your failures. 

   Most Christians face accusation by trying to build their own defense, trying to remember enough of their recent spiritual performance to feel like they have a legitimate standing before God, trying to outweigh the accusation with their own record of devotion and obedience. That is an exhausting and ultimately losing strategy because your record is never sufficient and the enemy knows it.

  But when you understand that Jesus is your advocate, that He is not presenting your record before the Father but His own, the entire framework changes. 

 You are not defending yourself. He is defending you. And HIS defense is the blood of the everlasting covenant, which is a stronger argument than anything the enemy or your own conscience can bring against you. 

First John chapter 2 verse one says, "If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." Notice the tense. Not we had an advocate when we were living right. Not we will have an advocate when we clean up our act. We have ,is a present tense, permanent standing. The advocacy does not activate when you deserve it and suspend when you fail. It is continuous because it is based on what Jesus is and what He did, not on what you are and on what you have done. 

 This is the Jesus Christ the church has underestimated. 

 Not a distant divine figure who monitors your performance and adjusts his level of involvement accordingly. 

  A permanently engaged, continuously active, legally authorized representative who has committed His entire standing before the FATHER to the cause of your complete and unconditional redemption.

 Now let me show you the practical consequence of this in the area of prayer because this is where the underestimation of Jesus produces the most immediate and the most visible damage. 

The average Christian approaches prayer as a communication exercise directed toward a God whose response is uncertain. They bring their need. They explain their situation. They apply whatever emotional intensity they can generate and they hope the appeal is sufficient to move God to act. The uncertainty of whether God will respond and the awareness of their own unworthiness as the reason He might not, is baked into the posture of the prayer itself. And that uncertainty is the precise evidence of an underestimated Jesus. 

Because a correctly estimated Jesus, the mighty One at the right hand of the Father, your continuously active advocate, the One whose intercession never ceases, changes the entire foundation from which you pray. 

Hebrews 4:1 16 says, "Come boldly to the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." The word boldly is the same Greek word  parisia. Freedom of speech, unrestricted access, the right to speak openly without fear of rejection. 

 The throne of grace is not a place you approach tentatively hoping today is a good day and the door is open. It is a place you approach boldly with the full confidence of someone who knows their advocate is already there, whose case is already being presented, whose standing has already been established by blood that speaks better things than any accusation. 

 You do not come hoping God might answer. 

 You come knowing your Advocate has already gone before you, and you draw from the throne of grace with the assurance of someone drawing from an account they know is full, right now. 

Write ✍🏽 these words on a piece of paper; I come boldly to the throne of grace. Jesus Christ is my advocate and my standing before the FATHER is based on His record, not mine.

 Let me show you now what a correctly estimated Jesus does to the way you face the hardest moments of your life. 

Because this is where the rubber meets the road and where the difference between a small Jesus and the actual Jesus becomes most apparent.

In short:

"Where the rubber meets the road" is the moment when an idea, theory, or plan is tested in practice.

What Does "Where the Rubber Meets the Road" Mean? "Where the rubber meets the road" is a metaphorical phrase that signifies the point at which an abstract concept is put into action or tested in real life. The phrase is a metaphor for the point of contact between a vehicle's tires and the road, where the theoretical potential of the vehicle is translated into actual motion.]

You receive a diagnosis that changes everything. The word comes from the doctor and in the space of a single sentence the landscape of your life shifts dramatically. Fear rises immediately not as a spiritual failure but as a completely natural human response to threatening information delivered by a credible source. And then comes the moment that determines everything about what happens next. You turn somewhere. 

Every person in that moment turns somewhere; to their feelings, to their reasoning, to other people, to God. And the Jesus you turn to in that moment is the Jesus you have been building in your spirit through the consistent meditation on the Word. If the Jesus in your spirit is the small one, the one who might help, if you pray hard enough, and if it is his will, and if the circumstances allow, you turn to him with desperation and uncertainty, and the outcome is consistent with the foundation you turn to. 

 If the Jesus in your spirit is the actual Jesus, the One at whose name every sickness must bow, as Philippians chapter 2, verse 10 describes, the one who bore your sicknesses and carried your pains in His own body at the cross. The One who ever lives to advocate for your complete wholeness, you turn to HIM with a completely different posture. 

You say, "I know what this report says, but I know who Jesus is, and I know what His Word says. By his wounds, I was healed. That healing is mine by covenant." Right? Jesus Christ, my advocate, is presenting that covenant right before the Father. Right now, I am not approaching this as a sick  person hoping to get healed. I am approaching it as a healed person enforcing what is already mine. I stand on 1 Peter chapter 2 :24. I hold Isaiah 53:5. {But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.}

And I refuse to let this diagnosis be the governing authority over my body when the Word of God declares something different.

That is not denial. That is a correctly estimated Jesus applied to a specific crisis. And it produces results consistent with the Jesus it is built on. 

Think about the financial crisis through the same lens. The numbers are not working. Every natural resource has been explored and found insufficient. 

The gap between what is needed and what is available is real and significant and not closing. Most Christians in that moment turn to a Jesus they hope will intervene. A Jesus who is watching their situation with concern from a distance and who might, if sufficiently moved by their desperation, release some supernatural  provision into their circumstances. That Jesus is too small for the crisis. He is not the Jesus the Word describes. 

The Word describes a Jesus through whom all things were created as Colossians chapter 1 verse 16 states which means every resource that exists in the natural realm was created by and belongs to the One you are in covenant with. The Word describes a Jesus who said in John chapter 16 verse 23 that whatever you ask the Father in His name, He will give you; " not might give, but will give because the name carries the full authority of the One who owns everything. 

 The Word describes the Father who knows what you need before you ask. As Matthew 6:8 says, "And who has already committed to supplying every need according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4 verse 19 declares, that is the Jesus and the Father and the covenant you are drawing on when you stand on the Word over your financial situation. 

Not a distant figure you are hoping will notice your need. A covenant partner who has already committed to your complete provision and whose Word is more reliable than any financial instrument ever produced by human institutions. [THE ORIGIN OF THE BLOOD COVENANT ...click here ]

Now let me address about the Holy Spirit specifically because the underestimation of Jesus is always accompanied by an underestimation of the Holy Spirit. And the practical consequences of that underestimation are just as severe. 

Most believers relate to the Holy Spirit as a periodic visitor whose presence they are grateful for when they sense it and mourn the absence of when they do not. They treat His indwelling as a theological fact they ascent to rather than a practical reality they govern their lives from. 

  And in doing so, they leave unutilized the most immediately available, most practically powerful, most personally intimate resource they have access to. 

I described the Holy Spirit as the one who in creation gave colours and beauty and fragrance to everything. Who is the artistic, creative, illuminating, beautifying expression of God's nature at work in the world. And that same person with that same creative illuminating capacity has taken up permanent residence in you. He is not there as a passive presence waiting to be acknowledged on Sunday morning. He is there as an active participant in every dimension of your life. Available for every decision, every challenge, every moment of inadequacy or confusion or spiritual dryness. 

Romans 8:26 says, "He helps our weaknesses." The word helps in the Greek is a beautiful word that means to take hold together with against implying that he gets on the other side of your burden and bears it with you. 

You are never carrying anything alone.

 The Holy Spirit is on the other side of every burden you carry. Bearing it with you and He is stronger than anything you will ever be asked to carry. This means the believer who has learned to live with a constant practical moment by-moment consciousness of the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence is a fundamentally different kind of person from the believer who treats HIM as an occasional visitor. The one is drawing from an unlimited resource in every situation. 

The other is relying on their own natural capacity and occasionally remembering that spiritual resources exist. 

First Corinthians chapter 2 verse 12 says, "We have received not the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God so that we might know the things freely given to us by God." The Holy Spirit was given specifically so you would know what is already yours. 

 He is the revealer of your inheritance.

 He is the One who takes the apostle Paul on revelation, Ephesians, Colossians, Romans, the great new creation passages and makes them live in your spirit until they move from theology to reality, from   information to governing truth. 

And this is why I urged believers to go back to Romans, to 1st and 2nd Corinthians, to Ephesians, particularly those first three chapters and stay there until something happens in the spirit. Not read them once for information. 

Abide in them. Meditate in them. Let the Holy Spirit who wrote them illuminate them for you until the reality they describe becomes more real to you than the natural facts your senses are reporting on. 

Until you can say with genuine settled conviction,   not as a formula but as a statement of experienced reality, I am a partaker of the divine nature. I have in me His faith nature. I have in me His love nature. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I am what He says l am. 

Until those declarations are not things you are trying to believe but things you know. 

Here is what changes when Jesus is correctly estimated in your spirit. 

The fear leaves not because the circumstances change but because you know who is bigger than the circumstances. 

The double-mindedness resolves. Not because the questions disappear but because you know who has the answers. and you know He has committed them to you. The vacasillating stops not because life becomes simple but because your foundation stops shifting with your circumstances and becomes what Hebrews 6:19 describes an anchor for the soul sure and steadfast entering into the inner sanctuary behind the veil where Jesus has already gone as your forerunner. {Hebrews 6:19 says that Christians have hope as an anchor for the soul—sure and secure—and that this hope enters God’s inner sanctuary behind the curtain. It connects this hope with Jesus, who has entered on believers’ behalf}

You are anchored to a Jesus who is not small. You are anchored to the mighty One at the right hand of the Father, the advocate who never rests. The One in whom every promise of God is yes and amen. As 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 20 declares.

Stop relating to a Jesus who is barely eough.

Start relating to the Jesus the Word describes. 

The One who is exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask or think. 

The One whose ability is committed to you as your ability. 

The One whose wisdom is committed to you as your wisdom.

 The One who ever lives to advocate for your    complete and total redemption in every area of your life. 

Meditate on what He did for you. Meditate on what you are in HIM as a result. Let the Holy Spirit build the reality of it into your spirit until the smallness falls away and the actual Jesus stands in its place. He is not small. He never was. Stop treating HIM like he is.
