the strangest prayer requests : why am I telling you this honestly, humbly and boldly.

When you look closely at the Bible, you will discover some of the strangest prayer requests ever recorded.

They are strange not because God could not answer, but because they reveal the raw honesty, desperation, and even the mistakes of people just like us.

Today, I want to look at four of the strangest prayer requests in the Bible and what they teach us about how we should pray.

Strange prayer number one

Moses asking God to take his life. In Numbers 11, Moses, the great leader of Israel, had seen the power of God. He watched the Red Sea part. He saw manna fall from heaven. He saw the burning bush. He spoke with God face to face. And yet, in Numbers 11, Moses reaches his breaking point. Overwhelmed by the complaints of the people, crushed under the weight of leadership.

Here is what the Bible says. Numbers 11:14-15, "I cannot carry all these people by myself. The burden is too heavy for me. If this is how you (God) are going to treat me, please go ahead and kill me. If I have found favor in your eyes — and do not let me face my own ruin. "

What a shocking prayer. God's chosen leader asking for God to take his life.

But here's the truth. Sometimes even the strongest leaders feel weak. Sometimes even the most faithful saints feel overwhelmed.

Moses teaches us this. God can handle our honesty. God did not strike Moses down for speaking too boldly. God didn't scold him for daring to ask such a thing.

Instead, God responded by appointing seventy elders to share the burden. Strange as it sounds, Moses's prayer reminds us that prayer is not for perfect words. Prayer is for honest hearts.

You do not have to hide your frustration. You do not have to dress up your weakness. You can come to God as you are.

Strange prayer number two , Elijah also asking to die.

Now let's look at Elijah in First Kings chapter 18. Elijah stood on Mount Carmel calling down fire from heaven. He proved before the whole nation that the Lord is God. It was one of the greatest victories in the Old Testament.

And yet one chapter later, Elijah is running for his life. Alone, exhausted, and afraid, he collapses under a broom tree and prays, "It is enough now, oh Lord, take away my life, for I am no better than my father's.

How could this be? How can a prophet who just saw God's fire fall from heaven want to die the very next day?

The answer is simple. Even spiritual victories don't shield us from our own human weakness. You can be on the mountaintop one moment and in the valley the next moment. Victory does not make you immune to   discouragement.

But notice how God responds. He doesn't grant Elijah's request to die. Instead, God sends an angel with food. God allows Elijah to rest. Later, God meets him with a gentle whisper.

The lesson. God doesn't always answer the prayer you pray. He answers the need beneath the prayer. Elijah thought he needed death. What he really needed was rest, renewal, and reassurance of God's presence. And that's what God gave him.

Strange prayer number three, Jonah praying in anger.

Now, as we turn to the story of Jonah, after running from God, after being swallowed by a great fish, Jonah finally obeys and preaches in Nineve.

(Nineveh was an ancient Near Eastern city of Upper Mesopotamia, located in the modern-day city of Mosul in northern Iraq. It is located on the eastern bank of the Tigris River and was the capital and largest city of the Neo-Assyrian Empire.)

To his surprise, the people repent and God shows mercy. But instead of rejoicing, Jonah becomes furious.

And in Jonah 4:3, he prays. "Now, oh Lord, please take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live. "

This verse highlights Jonah's anger and disappointment over God's mercy towards the people of Nineveh, which he did not want to see extended to them.

This is perhaps the strangest prayer of all. Jonah is angry because God was gracious. Imagine that a prophet was upset because God saved lives. What does this teach us?

It shows us that prayer is not always noble. Sometimes our prayers expose our immaturity, our selfishness, even our prejudices.

And yet even here, God engages Jonah. God doesn't ignore him. God asks Jonah a question.

" Do you do well to be angry? "

The lesson. God invites us to pray honestly even when our prayers reveal what's wrong in our hearts. Because prayer is not just about expressing  yourself to God. It is about allowing God to shape you.

Strange prayer number four, the disciples asking to call down fire.

Now, let's look at the disciples, James and John. As Jesus travels to Jerusalem, a Samaritan village rejects him. Offended by this, the disciples ask a shocking question. "Lord, do you want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them? "

This incident is recorded in Luke 9:54-55.

Can you imagine the disciples asking Jesus to approve a mass execution all because of rejection?

But Jesus immediately rebukes them. "You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."

This teaches us that sometimes our prayer comes out of anger, pride, or vengeance. And thank God he does not grant those kinds of prayers.

Prayer must be aligned with God's heart, not just our emotions. That means before we pray for fire to fall, we need to ask whether our spirit is aligned with the spirit of Christ, the One who came not to destroy but to save.

So what do these strange prayers teach us?

¹ From Moses, we learn that God welcomes honesty when the burden feels too heavy.

² From Elijah, we learn that God meets the need beneath the request.

³ From Jonah, we learn that prayer can expose our hearts and God uses it to correct us.

⁴ From the disciples, James and John, we learn that prayer must align with God's Spirit, not just our emotions.

Each of these strange prayers looked shocking on the surface, but underneath they remind us of a deep truth. God wants us to pray as we are, not as we think we should be.

So yes, the Bible contains some of the strangest prayer requests you will ever read. leaders asking to die, prophets praying in anger, disciples wanting to call down fire from heaven to destroy.

And yet, in every case, God's response is patient. He responds to the different emotional outbursts with compassion and kindness. He does not abandon them. He does not reject them. Instead, he teaches, corrects, and strengthens them.

The good news is this. You don't have to hide your heart from God. You don't have to filter your emotions before you bring them to him. You can bring him your weakness, your frustration, your anger, even your confusion. And he will meet you there.

Because prayer is not about getting the words right. It's about coming to the One who is always right.

So let us be a people who pray honestly, humbly and boldly.

And let us thank God that even when our prayers are strange, he remains faithful.

In Daniel chapter 10, we are given a rare glimpse behind the curtain of prayer.

We see what happens in the unseen world when a child of God cries out. And this chapter explains why prayer, especially in these last days, feels so difficult.

Daniel 10 shows us three vital lessons.

¹ Lesson number one, God hears our prayers immediately.

² Lesson number two, our prayers are resisted by spiritual opposition.

³ Lesson number three, victory only comes through perseverance.

Now, let's walk through Daniel chapter 10 and see why prayer is so hard and yet why it is worth fighting for.

Lesson number one, God hears prayer

immediately

Daniel was a man of prayer. By chapter 10, he had been fasting and praying for 3 weeks.

Then an angel appeared to him with this message in verse 12. "Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand  and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard."

From the first day, the very moment Daniel began praying, God heard.

That's true for you, too.

From the very first moment you whispered that prayer for your child, God heard.

The first time you cried out for healing, God heard. The first time you confessed your need for breakthrough, God heard.

Sometimes we think, "Maybe God isn't listening. Maybe my prayer isn't strong enough. Maybe he doesn't care.

But Daniel chapter 10 corrects that lie. Prayer may feel delayed, but it is never ignored.

Heaven registers your prayer instantly. This means delay is not denial.

Say that to yourself. Delay is not denial.

God hears the moment you pray.

Lesson number two, prayer is resisted by spiritual opposition.

But if God hears right away, why the delay?

Verse 13 explains,"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty one days."

This prince was no human king. lt was a spiritual being, a demonic power influencing the Persian Empire.

This dark power fought to keep the answer from reaching Daniel.

This is a sobering truth.

Prayer is not just communication with God.

Prayer is confrontation with the enemy.

Behind your prayers, there's warfare.

Behind every Lord, save my son, there's a battle.

Behind every God, send revival, there's conflict in the unseen realm.

Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of  wickedness in the heavenly places.

That is why prayer feels so hard because

Satan knows the power of a praying saint.

He doesn't tremble at your talents. He doesn't fear your titles, but he trembles when you pray. So, he resists.

He distracts you. He fills your mind with doubts. He tries to wear you out.

He wants you to believe prayer is

useless because he knows it is the very

thing that shakes his kingdom.

Lesson number three, victory comes

through perseverance.

So, what happened in Daniel chapter 10? The angel said, "Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.

For twenty one days, there was spiritual warfare.

Twenty one days of resistance, but because Daniel kept praying, help came, reinforcements were sent, and finally the answer broke through."

You are part of the equation of God's master plan for you and life, here and now, and forever.

Think about it. What if Daniel had quit on day seven or day 15? He might never have seen the breakthrough.

Friends, that is the lesson of Daniel 10. Victory in prayer does not come to those who give up. It comes to those who persevere.

Paul wrote in Ephesians 6:18, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful  to this end with all perseverance."

That word perseverance means prayer is not a sprint. It's a marathon. It's pressing on when you don't feel anything. It's pushing through when   everything in you says stop.

Now, why does this matter for us today?

Daniel chapter 10 is not just history.

It's a picture of our reality.

Why does prayer feel delayed?

Because although God hears instantly, the enemy fights desperately.

Why does prayer feel resisted? Because the devil knows answered prayer changes everything.

Why does prayer feel tiring? Because victory comes only through endurance.

And if that was true in Daniel's day, how much more in the last days when Satan knows his time is short?

Revelation 12:12 says, "The devil has come down to you having great wrath because he knows that he has a short time."

That is why prayer is harder now than ever because the battle is fiercer now than ever.

But here's the encouragement.

Every time you pray, something moves in the unseen world. Even if you can't see it, even if you don't feel it, something is shifting.

Heaven has already heard. Angels are already at work. And if you don't give up, the answer will break through.

Now, I want you to remember the lessons we've covered in Daniel chapter 10.

When it comes to the difficulty of prayer, prayer feels hard because it's not just talking, but it's deeply spiritual.

Prayer feels delayed because there is resistance in the unseen realm.

Prayer feels tiring because it demands  perseverance.

But prayer is worth it. Prayer is powerful. Prayer is the weapon that breaks the chains of darkness.

So when you feel like giving up, remember Daniel.

When the answer seems delayed, remember the unseen battle. And when your flesh says it's too hard, remember God heard you the very first day.

Keep praying, keep pressing, keep believing.

Because on the other side of perseverance is breakthrough.

If we desire to see God working in our lives, we need to pray.

If we desire to see a transformation in our lives, if we want to be transformed in our minds, thoughts, and in our hearts, then we need to pray.

If we desire to experience a breakthrough or to be victorious over circumstances and challenges, then we need to pray.

And should we desire to experience the presence of God?

If we want to develop and strengthen our  relationship with him, then we need to talk to him.

And how do you talk to the Lord? You pray.

How often can you talk to God? As often as you pray.

How much time can you spend talking to God? As much time as you spend in prayer.

James 5: verses 13 to 18 is a powerful passage of scripture regarding prayer. The Bible reads, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be  forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours. And he prayed earnestly that it would not rain and it did not rain on the land for 3 years and 6 months. And he prayed again and the heaven gave rain and the earth produced its fruit.

Look at how often the word prayer is mentioned in this passage of scripture.

But more importantly, look at the reasons why we should pray.

Verse 1 3 asks, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray."

Verse 14 asks if anyone is sick. Then calls for the church elders to let them pray.

Verse 15 goes on to say, "And the prayer of faith will save the sick."

And then verse 16 recommends us to pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective   fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Now, I'd like to focus on the last couple of verses in this passage of scripture, verse 17 and 18.

Notice how the Bible says, "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours."

The Amplified Bible Translation for James 5:1 17 offers a detailed breakdown of what this nature is.

As it reads, Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings. And he prayed intensely for it not to rain. And it did not rain on the earth for 3 years and 6 months.

Now, why does the Bible mention this?

Why is it important for us to know that Elijah was a man with a nature like ours?

I believe the reason for this is that many people may view Elijah as a rather unique or very special person.

But the Bible is making it clear that Elijah was just like everyone else. He was just like anyone else. Now the focus should not be on Elijah but rather the focus should be on his relationship with God.

He prayed and God acted. He prayed and God answered.

My message to you is that you should focus on your relationship with God

God still answers prayers.

It may not be exactly how you want him to answer. It may not be when you want him to answer, but remember the effective fervent prayer of the righteous man avails much.

Holy Spirit, help me to pray. Let prayer be my lifestyle.

May prayer become a habitual practice for me.

Holy Spirit, give me a heart that is devoted to prayer.

You give me an insatiable desire for prayer and a hunger for daily communion with the Lord.

Holy Spirit, develop an appetite within me for Jesus Christ.

Develop a hunger within me for Jesus who is the bread of life.

Let me thirst for him, the one who offers living waters.

Let there be a burning desire within me to fall on my knees and pray always.

Holy Spirit, strengthen me to pray without ceasing.

Strengthen me to continue earnestly in prayer.

Philippians 4 6-7 says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

When l am anxious, worried or stressed, Holy Spirit, teach me to pray and cast my burdens on Jesus Christ.

When my mind is weighed down by the cares of life, Holy Spirit, help me to make my requests be made known to God and to trust in him.

Ephesians 6:18 says, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplications for all the saints."

Dear Lord, you quicken my spirit so that I may be able to pray in all occasions.

You help me to rejoice always and to give thanks in all circumstances.

Open my eyes, Holy Spirit, so that I can see the beauty of prayer and communicating with God.

Father, as I pray and seek you, may you change my character. Give me a patient heart, a thankful heart.

Lord, as I pray and as I state my request to you, give me a heart that understands that you are a sovereign God who answers when the time is right.

You are the God who has perfect timing.

And so I will wait on you, King Jesus.

I will wait on you with a heart filled with faith.

I will wait on you with an expectant heart.

And even as I wait, Lord, I hold on to your promise in Isaiah 40:31, which tells me that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.

As I pray, Lord, develop patience within me. Renew my strength, let me not be distracted, discouraged,   or even dismayed.

You know my needs. You know my requests before I can even utter a word. I trust you and know you to be the God who is faithful to provide for me and meet me at my point of need.

And so I bless your holy name, King Jesus.

I thank you for the privilege of being able to come before you in prayer.

You are great and mighty and I will be still and know that you are God

Thank you for hearing my prayer, in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

One day in October 2009, the father and son duo of Ron Limming Junior and Senior said a small prayer for guidance and safety before heading deep into the Wyoming wilderness to hunt elk.

One thing to note is that when the father said the prayer, he said, "God, guide my arrow today and let it find its mark."

Little did the men know that this prayer would be answered and it would save their lives.

Now, while they were hunting, Ron Lming Junior heard a twig snap behind him. And he turned around only to meet the gaze of a wild grizzly bear standing a few feet away.

Now, for those people who don't know, grizzly bears are powerful, top of the food chain predators. They are large animals, and if you are near their habitat, they can be especially aggressive.

Now, with the bear standing not too far off, what could Ron Lemming Junior do? It was too close for him to get his weapon out and draw it. So, the next best thing he could do was run. And so he did run, but within a matter of moments, the bear caught up and Ron Lming Junior was fighting for his life.

Now, meanwhile, his father, Ron Limming, Senior, the father, is watching from a short distance, and he does the only thing he could do, which was to shoot an arrow at the bear.

And so as his son is laying on his back fighting this bear, Ron's father came up to try to save his son by hitting the bear in the back with his bow. And then suddenly the bear stopped and begins to head in the opposite direction when it drops dead.

The arrow that the dad shot had wounded the bear and gone straight to its hall.

Both father and son survived and lived to hunt another day.

So why am I telling you this story?

Well, just like the grizzly bear all of a sudden appeared from nowhere in life, the devil can sometimes sneak up on you.

The Bible says he is an enemy that comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

But you see, much like this survival story, if Ron Lming Junior was on his own, he would not have survived such an encounter.

And for us too, if we are to fight the enemy on our own, we would not survive.

But we have a Father who is our shield and defense. We have a God who fights our battles. He fights for us.

From today, I pray that you will see that the Lord is defending you in battles and you don't even know about it.

A lot of people have achieved great things in their lives.

Some have made a lot of money.

Some came in right at the bottom and climbed the corporate ladder all the way to the top.

Others will tell you, "I built this house myself."

But very few people will say,"I'm still standing because the Lord has been my shield and fortress through all of the battles of life."

Take time today for God. Thank God for his protection. Thank God for his strong hand which has kept you. Thank the Lord for watching over you. Thank him purely for the fact that it's by his grace and mercy that you are still here, still standing, and you have not been devoured by the enemy.

“I will praise You, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done.” – Psalm 9:1

Even in weakness, God’s grace is enough. Tonight’s message is a reminder that worship isn’t about perfection—it’s about surrender. When life feels uncertain, praise becomes your weapon and gratitude becomes your strength. Let your final thought tonight be one of thanksgiving and trust: God is still good, still faithful, and still working in your life.

Join us in prayer . We would like to pray together. May God bless you!

Psalm 103:12

Psalm 23:3–4

Philippians 4:7

Before we pray, let's first take a

moment to listen to God's word and then

we'll pray together.

The words of Psalm 9:es 1 and 2 remind

us of David's heart of worship

I will praise you, Lord, with all my

heart.

I will tell everyone about the wonderful

things you have done.

I will be filled with joy because of

you.

I will sing praises to your name, oh

most high.

These words reveal David's deep devotion

and gratitude toward the Lord.

His praise wasn't shallow.

It came from a heart completely

surrendered.

He gave God all of himself.

And in return, his soul found joy that

no circumstance could take away.

As you lie down tonight, think about this.

What would your life look like if you loved God with that same kind of fullness?

If your heart was fully devoted to him,

holding nothing back.

Each moment of your day, every word you

speak, every decision you make can be an

act of worship.

You don't need a perfect life to praise

him. You just need a willing heart.

David made a choice to glorify God even

when he didn't understand what was

happening around him.

He also promised to tell others about

God's goodness, to speak of his mercy,

his faithfulness, and his love.

Perhaps that's

something

for y

ou to

carry into tomorrow.

Who might need to hear what God has done

in your life.

There's power in your story because it's

proof that God is real and his love

still transforms hearts today.

David found joy not in the absence of

problems but in the presence of God.

He chose to sing praises even while

surrounded by enemies.

It reminds us that joy is not found in

comfort or control. It's found in knowing who God is.

Even when life feels uncertain,

God remains on his throne.

He rules with justice and compassion.

He sees every wrong done against you,

every tear you've cried, and every

moment you've felt forgotten.

And yet, through it all, his power

remains constant, and his love never

changes.

If you're going through a difficult

season, remember that our father hasn't

left you. He's fighting for you in ways you may not see. He's strengthening you

in the places you feel weakest.

The battle may be hard, but you're not

alone in it.

The one who goes before you is greater

than anything that stands against you.

The Apostle Paul understood this when he

wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:es 8 and 9.

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to

take it away from me. But he said to me,

"My grace is all you need. My power

works best in weakness."

God may not always remove every burden, but he promises his grace.

His grace is enough to sustain you, to

hold you together when everything feels

like it's falling apart.

It's enough to lift you when you have no

strength left.

Even in weakness, God's power is being

perfected in you. Don't be afraid of

your frailty.

It's the space where his strength shines

brightest.

Let your final thought tonight be one of

gratitude.

I will praise you Lord with all my

heart.

I will tell everyone about the wonderful

things you have done.

I will be glad and rejoice in you.

I will sing praises to your name, oh

most high. Now let's take a moment to

pray together.

Lord Jesus, your grace is so amazing, so deep, so boundless, and far beyond what I could ever deserve.

Even when l fail, even when I fall short of what you

desire for me, you never stop loving me. You look beyond my flaws and stil

choose to protect me.

You stand as my shield,

wrapping me in your mercy and

surrounding me with your favor.

You erase my mistakes,

not with judgment, but with compassion,

and you give me a fresh start again and

again.

How could I ever thank you enough for

such love?

You are so good to me, far more than |

could ever earn.

You are greater than my past

greater than every mistake l've made,

and greater than all the pain I've

carried in my heart.

When I see my failures, I also see your

forgiveness.

When I remember my brokenness,

I find your healing.

Even when life feels heavy and

uncertain,

I can still rejoice.

You remain good and faithful in every

season.

In times of joy, you fill my heart with

gladness.

In times of sorrow, you comfort me with

your unchanging love.

You are my solid foundation when

everything else feels unstable.

You never change, Lord, and that truth

helps me rest in peace tonight.

You've been so patient with me, Lord Jesus Christ.

I think of all the times I've doubted

you or tried to walk on my own. Yet, you never turned away.

You stayed.

You waited.

You loved me still.

I've given you countless reasons to

leave.

But you've only responded with more

mercy.

Your love did not fade because of my

weaknesses.

Instead, it reached deeper into my heart

and pulled me back into your arms.

Your word reminds me that as far as the east is from the west, so far have you removed my sins from me.

What a comforting truth, Lord. You don't just forgive me. You completely erase my sins.

You don't hold my past over my head.

You take it and replace it with a future filled with hope.

Tonight, I rest in that promise.

I don't deserve this kind of love, but I'm so thankful that it's mine.

I bless your holy name, Jesus Christ.

Because no one loves like you do. No one forgives like you do.

No one else offers the kind of grace and mercy you've poured into my life.

So Lord, with all my heart, I praise you.

I lift my voice in gratitude and worship.

I will tell of your goodness and speak of the countless ways you've blessed me.

You have saved me from dangers I never saw coming.

You've answered prayers I never even spoke aloud.

You've been working in my life every single day, even when l didn't realize it.

Tonight, I choose to rejoice in your goodness.

You are the one who heals my heart, forgives my sins, and redeems my life from destruction.

You crown me with kindness and compassion.

Every good thing in my life is because of your grace.

Your grace sustains me, Lord. It gives me strength when I'm weak and gives me hope when I feel lost.

When I am weary and can't take another step, you carry me.

When I feel like giving up, your presence renews my spirit.

You are holy and just and I can trust you completely.

You have never failed me and I know you never will.

Because of that, my heart overflows with gratitude.

You are the God of miracles.

There is no situation too broken for you to restore, no storm too strong for you to calm.

Even when I cannot see the way forward, I trust that you are already working behind the scenes.

You see what I cannot see. You have solutions waiting for every challenge I face.

Through the power of your blood, I am set free and made strong.

Because of you, I know I can face tomorrow with peace.

Lord, help me to trust you more deeply every day. Teach me to praise you not only in blessings but also in battles.

Help me to believe that you are in control even when l don't understand what you're doing.

Remind me that your timing is perfect and your plans for me are good.

When I face uncertainty, give me the strength to rest in your promises.

You are my good shepherd and I know you will always lead me to what is best.

When life feels heavy, remind me that you see every struggle.

You understand every tear I cry.

You are not far away.

You are right here beside me.

You walk with me through the valleys and lift me when I stumble.

Even when I feel weak and afraid, your grace is enough.

It calms my anxious heart, lifts my burdens, and gives me peace.

Thank you, Lord, for loving me unconditionally and forgiving me completely.

Thank you for renewing my strength when I feel empty.

May your name always be praised and may my life reflect your goodness.

Teach me to love you more deeply, to trust you fully, and to rest in your care.

I surrender every worry, fear, and tomorrow into your hands, knowing that you are my savior, my protector, and my greatest joy.

As I close my eyes tonight, Jesus, I rest in the safety of your love.

You are my peace, my strength, and my hope. In your holy and precious name, Lord Jesus Christ, I pray and believe.

Amen.

If this prayer has touched your heart, please say amen as a sign of faith. I pray that every blessing in this prayer is now upon you in the name of Jesus Christ.
