Lord, Lead Me in the Paths of Righteousness Today
So with all that l am, I lift up this prayer of praise and thanksgiving.
In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.
(If this prayer has touched your heart, please say "amen" as a sign of faith. I pray that every blessing in this prayer is now upon you in the name of Jesus Christ. And if you need a special prayer, feel free to let us know in the comments. We would be honored to pray for you. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.)
There is a secret weapon in the life of every believer that is often overlooked.
It is not wealth, it is not influence, and it is not human wisdom.
It is the power of praise. Praise God in all things.
When you choose to lift up the name of the Lord in the middle of difficulty, you are declaring something greater than your pain.
You are proclaiming that God is stil sovereign, still good, and still worthy of all glory. No matter what you face, it is good for you to praise God.
Praise him not only when life is easy, but in the very midst of your struggles.
Praise him while you are still in the storm.
Praise him before the breakthrough arrives because your worship in advance is an expression of faith that moves the heart of God.
The Bible reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
Notice that it says, "In all circumstances, not just in the good times, not just when the answer comes, but in every season."
Gratitude and praise in the middle of hardship are evidence that your hope is anchored in God and not in what you see.
So today I urge you to thank the Lord for the miracle before it comes.
Praise him for the healing before you feel it.
Rejoice in the victory before you see it unfold.
Give him glory for opening the doors.
Even when right now those doors look shut in your face.
That is what it means to praise God in advance.
When you do this, you are taking your eyes off the problem and placing them on the one who is greater than the problem.
You are refusing to let your pain define you.
You are saying with your worship, "My God is bigger."
This is the power of advanced praise.
It shifts your focus from the burden to the burdenbearer, shift ffrom the valley to the shepherd who walks beside you.
Think of what you are declaring in those moments.
You are saying to the enemy, "You will not silence my praise."
You are saying to your situation, "You may cause me tears. You may test my faith, but you will not steal my song."
And you are saying to God, I trust you more than I fear what is in front of me.
Maybe you are dealing with pressure at work.
Maybe someone has betrayed your trust.
Maybe bills are piling up and you do not know how to make ends meet.
Even so, when you lift your voice in praise, you are announcing that God is
greater than every financial burden,
greater than every broken relationship,
greater than every challenge pressing in around you.
There is a real power in this.
Praise is not just something we give God because he deserves it, though he certainly does.
Praise is also a weapon for spiritual warfare.
It is the way you push back against discouragement, anxiety, and fear.
Psalm 22:3 says that God inhabits the praises of his people.
That means when you begin to worship, his presence fills the atmosphere.
And where his presence is, chains break, peace flows, and hope rises again.
Think about the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for you.
John 3:16 tells us,
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life."
If that were the only blessing you ever received, it would still be enough to praise him forever.
You don't need to wait until everything is perfect in your life to lift your hands.
Praise him for the cross of Calvary..
Praise him for his blood.
Praise him because your name is written in the book of life.
In ( book of ) Acts ( of the Holy Spirit )16, Paul and Silas give us a powerful example.
The Bible says that at midnight while they were chained in prison, they began to pray and sing hymns to God.
They didn't wait for the chains to fall before praising.
They praised while still in them, chains and prisoned.
And suddenly, the prison shook, the doors flew open, and everyone's chains were loosed.
Their praise invited the power of God into their impossible situation.
That is the same God you serve today.
He has not changed.
Hebrews chapter 13:8 declares, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
What he did for Paul and Silas, he can do for you.
So l encourage you to take a stand today.
Whatever you are facing, it is not greater than the God who stands with you.
Whatever mountain is in your path, it cannot compare to the one who created the mountains.
He is the almighty.
He is the all powerful one.
And he will never fail you.
So lift your praise.
Let your worship rise above the noise of your circumstances.
Praise him in your home.
Praise him in your car.
Praise him in the quiet moments and in the chaos.
And as you do, believe that God can turn your situation around in a moment.
Psalm 34:1 says, "I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth."
Make that your declaration.
Let praise be your response to every situation, both the good and the difficult.
And as you do, watch how God will move.
Watch how he will transform your heart, strengthen your faith and bring breakthrough in his perfect timing.
So today, let us praise him for who he is.
And may our praise invite his power to change everything.
Now let's take a moment to pray together.
🙏
Dear heavenly Father, you are holy, you are faithful, and you are glorious in all of your ways.
The heavens declare your majesty.
The earth
is filled with the v
vork
of your
hands.
Your word in Revelation 5:12 tells us,
"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to
receive power and wealth and wisdom and
strength and honor and glory and praise.
Today I proclaim that Jesus Christ, the
lamb of God, is worthy of all praise.
You were slain for my sins. You bore my
punishment. and through your sacrifice,
I have eternal life.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for loving me so deeply and completely.
I lift up my voice with thanksgiving.
I do not come only with requests, but with gratitude.
Thank you, Lord, for healing because your word in Isaiah 53:5 declares, "By his stripes we are healed."
Thank you for the healing power that flows into my body, into my mind, and into my emotions.
Thank you for making me whole again.
I believe in advance that every place of brokenness in me is being restored, well, safe and sound, by your power.
Lord, I thank you for the breakthroughs that are on the way.
Thank you for opening doors that no one can shut.
Thank you for blessings that are already prepared for me, waiting to be revealed at the right time.
Your word in Malachi 3:10 promises that you will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings until there is no more room to receive them.
I believe that promise today and I praise you in advance for the overflowing favor that is coming.
I praise you in advance for restoration in relationships.
Where there is division, I believe you will bring peace.
Where there is pain, I believe you will bring healing.
Where families are broken.
I believe you will bring reconciliation.
Thank you for being the God who restores, the God who heals, and the God who binds up the wounds of the brokenhearted.
Father, your word in Deuteronomy 28:12 says,"The Lord will open to you his good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow."
I receive this word into my life.
I thank you for blessing the work of my hands.
I thank you for making me fruitful and
prosperous.
I thank you that I will not live in lack
but in abundance.
That I will lend and not borrow.
That I will be above and not beneath.
Even when my eyes see difficulties, my faith sees you, Lord.
My eyes may see lack.
But my faith declares that you are Jehovah Jireh, my provider.
My eyes may see sickness, but my faith sees Jehovah Rapha, my healer.
My eyes may see fear and danger.
But my heart knows you are my protector, my shield, and my refuge.
I will not be shaken because you are with me.
You are greater than my financial struggles.
You are greater than debt.
You are greater than the lies of the enemy.
Ephesians 3: 20 reminds me that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that l ask or think according to the power that works in us.
So Lord, I praise you not only for what you do, but for who you are.
Even while I wait for answers, I will not withhold my praise.
Even if the miracle has not yet come, you are still worthy.
Even if the storm has not yet passed, I will still lift up my voice in worship.
For you promised in Isaiah 41:10, "Do not fear, for l am with you. Do not be dismayed, for l am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I wil uphold you with my righteous right hand."
So I choose to trust in you.
My faith is not based on what I see, but on who you are.
I stand on your promises.
I believe that you are working even when l do not see it.
That you are making a way even when the path looks blocked.
That you are turning all things for my good because I belong to you.
Lord, I praise you because you are my joy, my peace, and my strength.
I praise you because you are my deliverer and my defender.
I praise you because you are my Shepherd who guides me, you are my Father who loves me, and you are my King who reigns forever.
Your word in Psalm 150 verse 2 says,
"Praise him for his acts of power.
Praise him for his surpassing greatness."
So l praise you for your mighty acts and I praise you for your greatness that my mind cannot fully comprehend.
King Jesus, may you always remain the affection of my heart and the center of my life.
Thank you for choosing me.
Your word in 1 Peter 2:9 says, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
Thank you for pulling me out of darkness and bringing me into your marvelous light.
Thank you for setting me apart and making me your own.
l declare today that no weapon formed against me shall prosper because l belong to you.
I declare that greater is he (Holy Spirit )who is in me than he (Devil) who is in the world.
I declare that l am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me.
I declare that my future is in your hands and nothing can separate me from your love.
So with all that l am, I lift up this prayer of praise and thanksgiving.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen 🙏
