Day 2 : have you recognized it? Because every morning is a new invitation to hear his voice again.

  Hello, my dear  family. I believe with all my heart that God has been speaking, but I wonder how many of you have truly experienced it lately. 

 Not just the kind of knowing that comes from reading a Bible verse, but the still personal unmistakable way God speaks directly into the center of your life, into your questions, into your fears, into your next step. 

Perhaps you felt the stirrings. 

 A line in scripture that lingered all day. 

A whisper in your heart that came out of nowhere. 

Or a strange sense of peace right when you should have been overwhelmed. 

I believe that is not coincidence. That is voice. That is presence. That is God. And I wonder, have you recognized it? 

Let us start here together. If you've ever had a moment, even once, where you sensed God was trying to get your attention in an unexpected way, I want you to pause this moment and write in the comments, "God spoke to me once, and I remember. Go ahead, don't overthink it." 

Your comment is more than just a testimony. It is an altar. a place where you mark that yes, 

1:19 the voice of the Lord has reached you before and it can reach you again. Your honesty will help someone else realize 

 I'm not alone in this. And today, I'm so glad you're here. Because we're not just here to ask for things. 

We're here to listen. 

We're not just here to pray from our own request list. We're here to receive from the heart of God. And I believe right now God wants to say something to you. 

 That's not a metaphor. That's not for someone else. 

That's for you. You're not here by accident. 

 This message, this voice, this word. 

It is reaching you because the Holy Spirit wants your full attention this morning, not to burden you, but to walk with you, to equip you, to fight beside you, and to fill your battles with His peace. 

 Because, let us be honest, life is a battle sometimes, isn't it? 

There are mornings when the weight of the day greets you before your feet even hit the floor. 

There are thoughts that rush in before you even open your eyes. 

There are situations that do not pause just because you are tired. And yet in the middle of it all, there is a God who speaks, who knows, who is not shocked by what you are going through. 

In fact, He is been preparing a word for you long before you even asked for one. 

The question is not, is God speaking? The real question is, are we quiet enough to hear? 

That is why we are here this morning. 

This moment is not just another day. 

It is holy ground. I want you to treat this time like Moses treated the burning bush. Not casually, but reverently. 

 You see, when God revealed himself to Moses in the wilderness, it was not in a temple. It was not in a grand ceremony. 

 It was in the most unexpected place, a bush burning, yet not consumed. 

 That was Exodus 3. Moses did not wake up thinking, "Today God will call me." He was just tending sheep, just doing the ordinary. 

But God broke in. And maybe for you, this message is that burning bush right here, right now. 

The Bible says in Exodus 3:5, "Do not come any closer." 

 God said, "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground." 

 I wonder what it would look like if we treated this morning like that. 

If we took off the sandals of distraction, the sandals of rush, the sandals of just getting through this, and instead we came with quiet hearts, with reverence, with the expectation that God Himself is about to speak, not just to the group, but personally to you. 

Because when God speaks, he does not just give general advice. He gives assignments. He gives  direction. He gives healing words tailor made for the wound you have not told anyone about. 

 In Exodus 3:10, God says to Moses, "Now go, for l am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt." 

This was not just a random encounter. It was a call, a mission, a release into something bigger than Moses thought possible. And yes, Moses was afraid. 

He asked, "Who am I to do this?" 

Maybe you are asking the same thing. "Who am I to start over? Who am I to be used by God? 

 Who am I to think he still speaks to someone like me?" 

But God does not answer with a resume. He answers with his presence. 

 In verse 12, God says, "I will be with you." 

That is the real assurance. Not that you are strong enough, but that He is near enough. 

And that is why today matters because you are not just hearing a message. 

You are being invited into a deeper walk with God. You are being reminded that His voice is not for the spiritual elite. 

It is for the hungry, the humble. The ones who say, "Speak, Lord. I'm listening." 

 So, I want to encourage you. Do not rush through this moment. Do not skip ahead. 

 Do not scroll away the moment it starts to feel quiet. That quiet is the doorway. 

That stillness is the entry into something sacred. 

Stay, listen, worship, let His voice cut through the noise. 

You don't need a hundred words. Sometimes all you need is one word from God. 

And it can change the direction of your entire day. 

And when we pray at the end, do not treat it like an optional extra. That prayer is where the word gets planted. 

That is where the Spirit breathes on what you just heard. 

That is where peace enters places where anxiety used to live. 

That is where strongholds begin to crumble. 

That is where the fire gets lit again. 

So, please make it all the way to the end. Don't let the enemy rob you halfway through. Don't let distractions silence the word that was meant to heal you. God is not finished until the amen. 

If you've made it this far already, your spirit is hungry, and that's a beautiful thing. 

Do not shame your hunger. Follow it. Feed it. 

Let it lead you into the presence of God where battles are won. Not with fists, but with faith. Not with striving, but with stillness, and not with fear, but with the voice of the One who said, "My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me." 

Or John 10:27. 

He is speaking today. Will you follow? 

Let us pray. 🙏🏽 

 Heavenly Father, I thank you this morning that your voice is still alive. 

 You are not a silent God. You are not a distant Father. You are present and you are speaking. 

You speak through the word. 

You speak through stillness. 

You speak through unexpected encounters and you speak through whispers in the deepest part of our being. 

Today I open my ears again. Not just the ears on my head, but the ears of my soul. 

I ask you to train my spirit to recognize your tone. To follow the nudges, to discern between your voice and the noise of the world. 

I declare, "Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening. 

Let that become my posture all day today. 

Let me respond quickly when I hear you. 

Let me not doubt the moments when you try to reach me through peace, through scripture, or through divine interruption. 

Lord, I thank you that you still speak. 

 And now l ask for something many people forget to pray for in a quiet. 

Father, I surrender the noise of my mind, the racing thoughts, the mental clutter, the to-do list that already started running before my eyes even opened. 

The voices that are not yours, the pressure, the perfectionism, the fear, the comparison. 

 In Jesus' name, I silence them now. 

I invite your peace to come in like a river. 

I ask for a supernatural stillness, not just around me, but inside me. Quiet the storms within. 

 Quiet the voices that rush me. Quiet the voices that accuse me. 

Help me become familiar with the sound of silence because it is often in that silence that your voice becomes clearest. 

Let me be still and know that you are God. 

Lord, I also ask for holy surprise today. 

Not everything you say comes in the way I expect. 

Sometimes you speak through nature, through a child, through a stranger, through a verse I've read a hundred times but never heard the same way. 

Open my eyes to wonder. 

Let me see you in the wind. 

Let me hear you in the pause. 

Let me feel you in the kindness of someone I was about to ignore. 

I invite divine interruption. I am available for encounter. I am open to holy detours. 

 Even if it changes my plans, I want to walk in step with your Spirit. Just like Moses in the wilderness, help me notice the burning bush when it appears. 

I do not want to miss what you are saying today just because I am too focused on what I thought would happen. 

 God, today I take off my sandals, not literally, but spiritually. I humble myself in reverence before you. 

 I choose not to enter this day casually or carelessly. 

 This morning is sacred ground. My schedule is not my God. My feelings are not my master. You are. 

And if you want to speak, I do not want to miss a single word. 

Just like you told Moses in Exodus 3:5, "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground. 

I choose to approach you with awe. 

I do not need a burning bush to know that this is holy. 

This breath is holy. 

This moment is holy. 

My whole day can become worship if I walk through it aware of you. 

 Father, I ask you to speak clearly, personally, specifically,  not in vague ideas or religious phrases, but in a way that hits the center of my situation. 

I need your voice to cut through the fog of confusion. 

I do not want to just hear about you. I want to hear from you. 

 Give me a word for today, a confirmation, a correction, a whisper of wisdom. 

Let me open my Bible and feel like you are sitting next to me explaining exactly what I need. 

Let me see my name between the lines. 

And if I miss it the first time, repeat it in love. You're patient. You're kind. 

And I know you want me to hear you even more than I do. 

Lord, I invite your peace to fill me now. Not the peace that depends on perfect circumstances, but the peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7. 

I choose peace as a weapon. 

I choose peace as my resting place. 

I declare over this day, I will not be shaken because my God is near. 

Even if the world is loud, my spirit is quiet. 

 Even if people around me are panicking, I stay anchored. Not because I am strong, but because you are. 

Let your peace guard my heart and mind like a fortress. 

Let it become the signal that you are speaking. 

Today, if there is something I need to let go of, reveal it gently. 

If there is a conversation I need to release, a fear I need to surrender, an outcome I'm trying to control, whisper to me, nudge me. 

Help me trust that releasing something does not mean I am losing. It means I am making room. 

Help me let go without fear. Help me release without regret. Help me surrender without resistance. 

 I want to walk through today with open hands, not clenched fists. 

 I trust you with what I cannot control. 

I trust you with what I love. 

I trust you with what I do not understand. 

 Father, speak to me through what is natural because everything you made carries your fingerprints. 

 Speak to me through the morning breeze,  through the colors of the sky, through the movement of birds, through the silence of a passing cloud. 

Let my spirit be sensitive. 

Let me walk through today with wonder again. Teach me through simple things. Let me feel like a child again, curious, open, soft, teachable. 

 If you taught Solomon through ants and Elijah through a whisper, I know you can teach me through anything if I'm paying attention. 

So help me pay attention today. 

And now I lift to you intercession,  one finger at a time. I begin with my thumb closest to my heart. I pray for those dearest to me, my family. 

God, cover them. Protect them. Let love increase in our home. Let forgiveness flow. Heal what is unspoken. Guard what is precious. Bring joy back where there is been stress. Let your peace reign over the people I love. 

 Now I move to the index finger, the one that points and directs. I pray for my mentors, my pastors, my teachers, and spiritual leaders. God, you fill them with your word. Protect them from weariness.   Multiply their wisdom. Let no attack prosper against them. Use them to lead with love, clarity, and truth. And bless their families behind the scenes. 

I move now to the middle finger, the tallest. I pray for those in authority, government leaders, business executives, city officials. 

God, Let them lead with righteousness. Let them walk in truth. Let justice roll like a river through our nation. Let your Spirit speak even in places where no one expected it. Turn hearts like streams of water. Raise up Daniels and Esters for this generation. 

 Now I touch the ring finger, the weakest one. I pray for the vulnerable, the sick, the grieving, the lonely, the forgotten.  God, surround them. Be near the brokenhearted. Let angels minister. Let comfort flow like a blanket over the cold places of the soul. Heal silently.  Love deeply. Restore what has been taken. Remind them they are seen, loved, chosen. 

And finally, I lift the little finger, praying for myself. I bring my own heart into your hands. I do not want to be the last one I pray for every day, but today I do so intentionally. 

 God, you care for the little things, the quiet longings, the inner burdens, the fears I have not told anyone, the dreams I am afraid to speak. You know me fully and you love me completely.  Nothing is too small for you to notice. 

 So l ask, please hold me today. Walk with me. Whisper truth when I doubt. 

Breathe peace when I panic. 

Help me be still and know that you are God. 

Father, today l ask for something that is often missing in our prayers. The courage to obey even when we are afraid. 

You never said it would be easy. You never  promised that faith would feel safe to the flesh. 

But you did say, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God goes with you."    Deuteronomy 31:6. 

 And so l am asking, give me that strength. 

Help me not delay obedience while I wait for fear to disappear. 

 Help me obey while my voice is trembling. 

 Help me step forward even when my knees shake. 

Let my obedience not depend on my feelings, but on my trust in your voice. 

 Let me say yes, not just when I understand, but because I trust that you do. 

Today, I declare, l am not led by fear. I am led by faith. 

I am not mastered by doubt. l am held by your word.

 I will do what you ask, not because it's easy, but because you are with me. 

 Lord, I ask for your peace as I walk into the battles of this day. I may not be heading into a literal battlefield, but I know the enemy does not take days off. 

 There are spiritual pressures, emotional warfare, and unexpected trials waiting, and I do not want to face them alone. 

 Cover me with peace. Let me put on the armor of God with confidence. Let your peace be my shield, not just my comfort. 

 When anxiety tries to rise up, I breathe deeply and remember you are fighting for me. 

You are going before me. You are surrounding me. I am not alone. 

And because of that, I do not need to fight with panic. I can fight with praise. 

I can walk into difficult situations today without losing my grounding. 

I can speak truth with love. 

I can respond with grace instead of reacting with fear. 

 Let peace be my spiritual posture. 

 Let me carry the calm of heaven into the noise of earth. 

God, help me discern your voice clearly today. 

There are so many sounds in the world. Notifications, opinions, fears, self-doubt, worldly wisdom. 

Sometimes it is hard to know what is you and what is just noise. But I believe that "my sheep hear my voice."  John 10:27. And I am your sheep. 

So help me hear, help me discern, help me separate your whispers from the chatter of culture. 

 I don't want to confuse my own voice with yours. I don't want to project my fears and call them God. 

 I want to know what you are truly saying, and I believe you know how to speak in ways I can understand. 

 Train me in spiritual hearing. Let my spirit respond to your tone. 

Let me become fluent in your frequency. 

I do not just want answers. I want communion. 

I do not just want direction. 

I want intimate relationship. 

Let your voice be my daily bread. 

 And now l ask, Lord, that you would open the word like never before. 

Let the Bible not be just ink on a page, but fire in my bones. 

 As I sit down to read, whether one verse or one chapter, breathe through every line, make it personal, make it alive, let it speak to my situation, not just my theology, break the bread and feed my soul. 

If there is a part of my heart that is been closed, use the word to open it. 

If there is a lie I've been believing, use the word to confront it. 

 If there is a promise l've forgotten, use the word to remind me. 

Let this Bible become my compass, my mirror, my sword, my comfort. 

And even if I don't feel something dramatic, help me stay faithful to open it, trusting that every word is watering seeds I may not even see yet. 

I want to love your word because I love your voice and I want to know you better. 

This morning, God, I also pray for the gift of a quiet atmosphere. 

 I know that sometimes the noise outside matches the noise inside. 

 So l ask you to make space for silence today. Not as absence but as presence. 

 Let my morning not be rushed but restful. Let there be pockets of peace. 

 Even if it is only five minutes where I can just sit with you and be still. 

 I sanctify my space. I invite your Spirit into my room, my car, my kitchen, my walk, my whereabout .

Let it become a holy sanctuary where your presence feels thick and real. 

Remove distractions, silence interruptions. 

 Teach me to turn off the noise, to step away from the scroll, to put the phone down, to lift my eyes and say, "Here I am, Lord. Speak." 

I do not need a mountaintop retreat. I just need a moment. And in this moment, I welcome you, Lord. 

I ask you to remind me all day long that you are with me. 

When the meeting is hard, remind me. 

When the traffic is long, remind me when I feel forgotten. 

Remind me when I do not know what to say. 

Remind me. You said in Isaiah 41:10, "Do not fear, for l am with you. Do not be dismayed, for l am your God." 

I hold on to that. 

I do not always feel it, but I believe it. 

Even when I am not aware of you, you are near. 

 Even when I drift, you draw me close. 

Even when I am weak, you are still God. 

 So awaken my awareness. Let me sense you in the small things. 

 Let me turn my heart toward you again and again until I walk with the same confidence that Jesus Christ had. 

You never leave. You never abandon. You never forget. 

You are Emmanuel, God with us, and more personally, God with me. 

 And finally, Father, I ask that you would lead me one step at a time. 

I surrender my desire to know the full plan. 

 I lay down the craving for certainty. 

I do not need to see the whole staircase. I just need to see the next step. 

And even if I do not see it clearly, help me trust that your hand is guiding. 

I do not need clarity to obey. I need faith. 

I do not need all the answers. I need assurance that you are good. 

So lead me with peace. Nudge me with conviction. 

 Speak through circumstances, but also speak through rest. 

When I want to sprint ahead, slow me down. 

When I hesitate in fear, lift my foot. 

I do not want to make impulsive decisions. 

I want to walk in step with your Spirit. 

Even if your answer today is simply, wait. Let me wait with trust, not worry. 

Let me say, not my will but yours be done. 

 Lead me in peace. Protect me from detours and walk with me into whatever you have written for this day. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray and received. Amen.

 It is a mark of someone who does not just want to be inspired, but wants to be led. 

 This morning you are learning to walk differently. 

 To begin each day not from a place of panic but from presence, not by guessing, but by trusting. 

Not in your own strength. But in the wisdom of the One who sees the end from the beginning. 

 And if you've made it to this point, it tells me something. 

You want more than information. You want transformation. 

So here is my blessing for you today. 

May your ears become more sensitive to heaven's frequency. 

May your heart be tuned to his rhythm. 

May your steps be guided not by pressure, but by peace. 

 May you begin to recognize the Shepherd's voice in the everyday, in scripture, in silence, in surrender,  even in surprises. 

 And may you become someone who does not just hear God, but follows him boldly.

0:00 什么是福音？我如何知道自己能上天堂？福音，即耶稣基督的好消息，可以用非常简单的方式解释，但其意义却可以非常深刻。

约翰福音 3:16 给出了一个非常简单的解释。 神爱世人，甚至将他的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信他的人，不至灭亡，反得永生。

但若要深入探究，从一开始，神就一直指向他的儿子耶稣基督，以及他将为我们所作的牺牲。因此，在伊甸园里，亚当和夏娃都犯了罪，吃了“禁果”（此处有更深层的圣经启示），

之后，神为人类献上了第一次祭，使动物流血，以遮盖他们的羞耻。这血与人类的堕落有关。这记载在创世记3:21。

在此之前，在创世记3:15，神第一次提到了他的救主。 他对蛇说：“我必使你和女人彼此为仇；你的后裔和女人的后裔也彼此为仇。女人的后裔要伤你的头，你要伤他的脚跟。”

我们看到了耶稣基督的美好预示，他是上帝完美无瑕的羔羊，他之所以无瑕疵，是因为他没有生来有罪，也从未犯过罪，他将被宰杀，作为完美的祭品献给我们。

如今，他的宝血遮盖了所有信靠他的人。

这些只是旧约中一些预示，它们最终引向约翰福音3:16的简洁明了：“神爱世人，甚至将他的独生子赐给他们，叫他们得救。” 神差遣他的儿子降世，叫一切信他的人不至灭亡，反得永生。

第17节说：“因为神差他的儿子降世，不是要定世人的罪，乃是要叫世人因他得救。”

第18节说：“信他的人，不被定罪。”

这就是为什么这被称为所有信靠耶稣基督的人的福音。

但请听第18节的后半部分。

“不信的人，罪已经定了。”

“因为他不信神独生子的名（即耶稣基督）。”

所以，无论你是选择用简单的方式理解福音，还是深入探究基督在旧约中的启示（我这里只列举了一些例子），

旧约中都有数百个这样的例子。 遗嘱。

事实是这样的。耶稣肩负世人的罪孽，成为唯一完美的祭品，拯救我们，救赎我们，使我们恢复到神最初对我们的旨意。

他的牺牲使我们免于神的审判，这审判将临到所有得罪他的人。

剧透一下，这包括所有人。你、我、你的父母、你的朋友，所有人。

耶稣基督被钉十字架三天后复活，不久便升天。

 我们也同样蒙受应许：当我们的肉体死亡时，我们的灵魂将复活，离开我们死去的躯体，我们将永远与祂在天堂（也称乐园）中永享安息。

但那些没有信靠耶稣基督的人，听着，他们将永远与神隔绝，在一个叫做地狱的地方，在那里哀哭切齿。

无论你喜欢还是不喜欢，无论你相信还是拒绝，这些都是耶稣基督亲口所说的话。

听着，神是公义的神，祂是圣洁的神。正因如此，一方面，祂必须惩罚那些得罪祂的人。

我的意思是，毕竟，祂把亚当和夏娃逐出了伊甸园。所以，祂也会对任何得罪祂的人这样做。

但另一方面，祂如此爱我们，以至于祂将祂的儿子作为活祭献给我们。 所以，如果我们信他，就能免受他将要来的忿怒。

不要等到明天，因为明天并非应许给任何人。

今天就将你的生命献给耶稣，重生得救。该怎么做呢？

首先，你必须承认自己得罪了神。

约翰一书 1:9 说：“我们若认自己的罪，神是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义。”

 罗马书10章9节告诉我们：“你若口里认耶稣为主，心里信神叫他从死里复活，就必得救。因为人心里相信，就可以称义；口里承认，就可以得救。” 这与约翰福音3章16节的经文相呼应：“神爱世人，甚至将他的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信他的，不至灭亡，反得永生。”

“相信”一词意味着信赖、坚持、依靠。

所以，如果我们相信基督，就意味着我们信靠他，坚持并依靠耶稣基督来获得救恩。圣经说，当我们这样做时，我们就重生了。

基督的新生命，或者说神的灵，就进入我们里面，住在我们里面。

所以，要将你的生命献给基督，只需大声地与神交流，并且言出必行。 因为空洞的言语毫无意义。

空洞的言语永远无法拯救你。

所以，如果你准备好将生命献给耶稣基督，请与我一同向神祷告。请发自内心地说出这些话：

“神啊，感谢你差遣你的儿子耶稣基督为我的罪作了赎罪祭。我相信他是你的儿子，他为我的罪献上了活祭。我相信你使他从死里复活，我相信我因信耶稣基督而得救，与你和好。耶稣，我将我的生命献给你，你是我的主。我弃绝撒旦，完全降服于你。求你赐给我力量，指引我如何全心、全魂、全意、全力地跟随你，奉耶稣的名祷告。” 阿门。

当然，当你读完新约之后，别忘了回头读福音书。

 或许有很多理由可以快速阅读某些书籍，但读圣经绝对不是其中之一。

务必每天只读几章，然后花时间为所读的内容祷告。换句话说，如果你读到的内容挑战了你，那就为此祷告。

主啊，你的话语说，对女人动淫念就等同于在我心里犯奸淫。所以，神啊，求你帮助我克服这一点。

圣灵啊，我不知道该如何处理这件事。

关于如何饶恕得罪我的人，你肯定需要帮助我。

所以，听着，阅读神的话语，让它带给你知罪、医治，并训练你如何进行属灵争战，以及如何过敬虔的生活。

还有，记住，我们里面的最终会流露出来。所以，在音乐方面，不要听垃圾。

Dear respected reader, 

Don’t wait until tomorrow — tomorrow is promised to no one. Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). 

Read on and discover the good news of Jesus Christ, the hope of eternal life, and how you can be sure of your salvation.

What is the gospel and how do I know if l'm going to heaven? The gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, can be explained very simply, but it can also run very deep. 

John 3:16 gives a very simple version. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 

But if you want to take it deeper, from the very beginning, God was always pointing to his son Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that he would make on our behalf. So, in the Garden of Eden, after Adam and Eve both sinned against God and ate the 'forbidden fruit,' ( Deeper biblical revelation, here)  

God performed the first sacrifice for mankind by shedding the blood of an animal to cover their shame. The blood was involved in the fall. That's found in Genesis 3:21.

 And just before that, in Genesis 3:15, God made the first mention of his saviour. He  said to the serpent, "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head and you will bruise his heel. 

 And what's really interesting about that is that a woman doesn't carry the seed. Only the man can do that. 

Yet, this points ahead to the virgin birth when Jesus would come as the seed of the woman. Not born of a man, but actually born of God. 

The angel said to Mary that the Holy Spirit would overshadow you and that you will conceive a son. And so Jesus wasn't born from the seed of Adam like you and I were, which is a good thing because everyone who comes from the seed of Adam is automatically born into sin because of his initial sin in the Garden of Eden. 

So fast forward from Genesis 3:15 to Abraham placing his son Isaac on the altar as a sacrifice to God. We see that as he was about to bring the knife down to kill his son that God intervenes Abraham at the last moment and provides a ram in Isaac's place which was a foreshadowing of how God himself would one day provide his own son as a living sacrifice for us. 

And then fast forward from there to the original Passover scene where every family of Israel had to apply the blood of a perfect spotless lamb on the doorpost of their home in order for God's judgment to pass them over. 

You see a beautiful foreshadowing of Jesus Christ, the perfect spotless lamb of God who was spotless because he was not born into sin, nor did he ever commit a sin, who would be slaughtered and offered as a perfect sacrifice for us. 

And so now it's his blood that covers over all of those who have placed their faith in him. 

These are just a few of the foreshadowings in the Old Testament that bring us to the simplicity of John 3:16.  For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. 

 Of course, we can't just stop there. We have to continue with the following verses to get the full context of what God is saying. 

In verse 17, for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. 

Verse 18, he who believes in Him is not condemned. 

 That's why it's called the good news for all of those who place their faith in Jesus Christ. 

But listen to the rest of  verse 18. 

But he who does not believe is condemned already 

because he has not believed in the name (i.e. Jesus Christ) of the only begotten son of God. 

And so whether you keep the gospel message simple or take a deep dive to Christ being revealed in the Old Testament, and again, I only mentioned a few. 

There is literally hundreds of examples throughout the Old Testament. 

The truth is this. Jesus carried the sins of the world on his shoulders and became the One and only perfect Sacrifice to rescue, redeem, and restore us back to God's original intent for us. 

His sacrifice rescues us from the judgment of God that will come to everyone who has sinned against Him. 

 Spoiler alert, that's everybody. You, me, your mom, your dad, your friends, everyone. 

Romans 3:23 makes that clear.  It says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That's why the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the son of God, was so vital. 

The only way we can escape God's judgment is through his blood that was shed for us. 

When we place our faith in him, his blood covers us and causes God's judgment to pass us by. That is the good news. 

Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." 

Jesus' sacrifice rescues you from God's judgment. It redeems you back to God and puts you in right standing with him just like Adam and Eve were in right standing before they sinned against God initially in the Garden of Eden. 

And his sacrifice restores you to God's original intent, which is that you would be with Him forever in paradise. 

Three days after Jesus Christ died from the crucifixion, he rose from  the dead. Shortly thereafter ascended into heaven. 

And we have the same promise that when our bodies die, our spirits will rise and leave our dead bodies and we will forever spend eternity in paradise, also known as heaven, with Him. 

But those who have not placed their faith in Jesus Christ, listen, they'Il spend eternity forever, separated from God in a place called hell, where there'll be weeping and gnashing nashing of teeth. 

And whether you like that concept or do not like it, whether you believe it or reject it, those are the words of Jesus Christ himself. 

Listen, God is the righteous God. He is the holy God. And because of that, on one hand, he must punish those who sin against him. 

I mean, after all, he did kick Adam and Eve out of paradise. And so, he'll do that for anyone who sins against Him. 

 But yet on the other hand, he loves us so much that he provided his son as a living sacrifice for us. 

So that if we believe in him, we shall be saved from his wrath that will come. 

If you do not know Jesus Christ, today is the day of salvation. 

Don't wait until tomorrow because tomorrow is literally promised to no one. 

Surrender your life to Jesus today and become born again. How do you do that? 

First, you have to acknowledge that you have sinned against God.

1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 

And then Romans 10:9 tells us that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. And believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Which takes us right back to John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting  life. 

That word 'believe' means to trust in, to adhere to, to rely on. 

So if we believe in Christ, that means that we  are placing our trust. We're adhering to and relying on Jesus Christ for our salvation. And when we do that, the Bible says that we become born again. 

 And the new nature of Christ or the Spirit of God comes and takes up residency within us. 

So to surrender your life to Christ, simply communicate with God out loud and mean what you say , because words without meaning are empty. 

 And empty words will never save you. 

And so if you are ready to commit your life to Jesus  Christ, communicate or pray out loud to God with me. Say these words and mean them from the bottom of your heart. 

"God, thank you for sending your son, Jesus Christ, to be a sacrifice for my sins. I believe that he is your son and that he was a living sacrifice for my sins. I believe that you raised him from the dead and that by placing my faith in Jesus Christ, that I'm saved and in right standing with you, Jesus, I surrender my life to you and make you my Lord. I renounce Satan and surrender completely to you. Give me strength and show me how to follow you with all my heart, all my  soul, all my mind, all my strength in Jesus' name. Amen."

 And listen, if you prayed that to God and meant it, then you are now a child of God and covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. 

And that is the best news you could ever receive. 

 Your Christian journey has just begun, but guess what? It's not over. 

If you don't have one, make sure that you get a Bible and start reading it every day and allow God to transform your mind, or as the Bible says, to renew your mind. 

And if you just had a genuine born-again   experience, guess what? 

You're going to immediately sense a tug-of-war between good and evil within you. 

Listen, that's the Holy Spirit already convicting you about some of your lifestyles and habits that contradicts his nature. 

Welcome to the kingdom of God if that's you. 

And when you yield to the Holy Spirit and stop participating in the activities that you know are not right, day by day, you'lI find yourself drawing closer to God and growing in your faith. 

  That's why reading his word is so important,    because it makes room for the Holy Spirit to teach you about God's ways, but also to reveal to you the tactics of the enemy, the devil, the very one that convinced Adam and Eve to sin against God in the first place. 

John 10:10 says, "The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy." 

And if he was there in the Garden of Eden, want to destroy them,  he's certainly wanting to destroy you. 

 So listen, be sure to read the word of God on a regular basis. If you don't know where to start, a good rule of thumb is to start out with the book of Luke and then go into the book of Acts and continue reading through the rest of the whole New Testament. 

And then of course come back and read all of the Gospels when you make it all the way to the end of the New Testament. 

There's probably a lot of good reasons to speedread certain books, but reading the Bible is not one of them. 

Make sure you just read a few chapters every day and then spend time praying about what you read. In other words, if what you read challenges you, then pray about that. 

 Lord, your word says that uh to look lustfully after a woman is the same thing as committing adultery in my heart. So God, help me with that. 

Holy Spirit, I don't know how to handle this. 

To forgive people whoʻve sinned against me stuff. You're definitely going to have to help me with that. 

So, listen, read God's word and allow it to bring  conviction, healing, and to train you regarding spiritual warfare and how to live a godly life. 

And listen, always remember that what comes in us ends up coming out of us. So, when it comes to things like music, don't listen to garbage. 

Listen to worship music or other Christian music that focuses on God and encourages you to worship Him and not worship the things of this world. 

And of course, find a good Bible believing church that admonishes you to be a real follower of Jesus Christ. If you don't know which one to attend, pray to God to lead you to the right church if you don't already have good Christian friends that are attending a good  Bible believing church.

want 2026 to be the year you really hope for, here is a simple secret that will make it a great year.

 The greetings of Happy New Year exchanging like previous years gone by. 

 Before we continue , let us first take a moment to listen to God's word and then we'll pray together. 

 If you want 2026 to be the year you really hope for, here is a simple secret that will make it a great year. 

 Every day, serve someone every day. Add value to people every day. Live intentionally by doing for others. sometimes what they cannot do for themselves. 

 When you choose to put people first and serve them, it becomes amazing what God can do through your life, how many  hearts you can help, and how much good can come back in ways you never expected. 

 This is one of the clearest patterns of a joyful life.  Happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.  The happiest people are not always the most successful people,  but they are often the ones who serve the best. 

 You can meet people who have everything on paper and still feel empty inside. 

 Yet, it is rare to find a person who truly gives their life to serving and adding value, who remains bitter and miserable. 

 There is a kind of joy that shows up when you stop living only for yourself. 

 "Everybody can be great because everybody can serve."  ~ Martin Luther King Junior 

That is true and it fits perfectly with the life of Jesus. 

 Greatness in God's kingdom is built on love expressed through service. 

 Jesus did not just teach this, he lived it. In Mark 10:45,  Jesus said, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many." 

 Think about that. The Son of God came close, took on flesh, walked among ordinary people, and made himself a servant. 

 And one of the most striking moments in the gospels is when Jesus washed the disciples feet. 

 John 13 verses 14 to 15 records his words after that act.  If I then your Lord and teacher have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 

 For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you. 

 Only one time do you see him saying in such a direct way, follow my example. 

 And it happens in the context of humble service.  That tells you what matters deeply to his heart. 

THE THREE ORDINANCES, commissions of Jesus Christ to his disciples, here, ¹ water baptism in the name of Jesus, ² holy communion of the body of Christ, and ³ feet washing among the disciples.

 Many people start a new year thinking leadership means gathering attention, building a platform, and getting people to follow their plans.  Maybe you have thought that too. But then a different kind of wisdom comes and turns you around. 

 "If you will help people get what they want, then you'll receive everything that you need in life." 

 That idea lines up with God's ways. 

 Because God often blesses a life that pours outward.  

When you focus on people, when you put others first, you find that God supplies what you need along the way. That is not a trick.

 It is pure love in action and it's the character of Christ forming in you.  

The disciples once argued about who would be the greatest and Jesus listened while they competed over position. 

 But Jesus answered them with a different standard. 

 Luke 22 : 27 says, "l am among you as the one who serves."  Jesus the holy one took his place among them as a servant. 

 When you begin to understand this, you realize a servant puts service over status. 

 That is why Philippians 2: verses 3 to 4 says, "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in loneliness of mind, let each esteem others better than himself.  Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." 

 Then it continues by pointing to Jesus Christ who humbled himself.

 If you are going to really serve people in 2026, you will have to forget yourself more often than you are used to. 

One reason living intentionally matters is because if you are not intentional, you will drift into selfishness.  

You do not have to work hard to become self-centered. It happens naturally. 

 But you do have to choose on purpose to look at your day and ask, "Who can I help? Who can l encourage? 

 Who can I lift up?" 

 Some people do what is right and then feel good.  Others want to feel good before they do what is right.  But if you always wait to feel good first, you will avoid many good things because emotions change daily. 

 There comes a moment where you decide, Lord, I will do the right thing and I will let the feeling follow later.  That should be the character and it produces a life you can respect. 

 Think about the good Samaritan. 

 A man was robbed, left wounded, and lying on the side of the road. Others saw him and kept going. 

 It is easy to imagine them saying religious words while walking away, 

 "Lord, help him," while refusing to become the help. Prayer is precious and you should pray. 

 But sometimes faith looks like getting close, getting involved, and doing what love requires. 

 James 2: 17 says, "Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." 

 In some seasons, the most powerful prayer you can pray is to help, give, carry, visit, listen, and serve. 

 Yes, serving will inconvenience you at times. Love often costs something. It may cost time you wanted for yourself. 

 It may cost comfort. It may cost pride. It may even cost being misunderstood. 

 But look at Jesus Christ in his hardest moments. He still served.  Pilate took a basin of water and used it to protect himself.  Jesus took a basin of water and used it to wash feet of his disciples.

 That is the difference between a life centered on self and a life shaped by Christ. 

 And here is what makes serving holy. 

 When you serve people, you are serving Jesus Christ. 

 Matthew 25: 35-36 shows Jesus saying, "I was hungry and you gave me food. I Was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me." 

 Then he explains, "In as much as you did it to one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it to me." 

 If you feel far from Jesus, start loving the people he places in front of you. 

Start adding value. 

 Start serving in simple ways. 

 1 Peter 4:10 says, "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." 

Your gift was meant to bless someone. 

 So step into year 2026 with this one decision settled in your heart. 

 Value people because everv person is made in the imaae of God.

 Value people because every person is made in the image of God. 

 Choose to notice needs, even the small ones. 

 Look for ways to encourage, to help, to show kindness, to speak life, to give your time, and to lift burdens. 

 Then end your day with, "Who did I add value to today? Who did I serve today?" 

 If you do that, 2026 will be meaningful because you chose the way of Jesus Christ, the way of serving, the way of valuing people, and the way of adding value on purpose day after day until your life starts to look more like Him. 

 Now, let's take a moment to pray together. 

🙏🏽 Gracious heavenly Father,  thank you for giving me another new beginning. 

 As I step into this new year, I want my life to look like you. 

 I want to live with purpose, with kindness, and with a heart that serves. 

 Help me remember that a great year is not only built by what I gain, but also by what I give.

10:16 Put a fresh desire in me to value people every day, to notice them, to respect them, and to treat them as precious in your sight. 

Lord Jesus, your word.  In Mark 10:45 says, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many.

 Lord, teach me to serve. Help me to serve in my home, in my workplace, in my church,  and even in small moments that no one will ever notice. 

Your word in John 13: verses 14 to 15 says,  "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you. 

 Father, give me that kind of heart. A heart that chooses humility because it honours you. 

 Father, I confess that l often think about what others can do for me. 

 I often want to feel appreciated before I serve. 

 I often want to be comfortable before l obey. 

But I want 2026 to be different. 

Help me to put character over comfort. 

 Help me do what is right even when my emotions do not agree.  

Give me strength to choose love when it costs time, energy, and pride. 

 Your word in Philippians 2: verses 3:4 says, 

 "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in loneliness of mind, let each esteem others better than himself. 

 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." 

 Lord, shape me with this truth. 

 Break selfish ambition in me. Remove the need to compete. Remove the need to be first. 

 Give me your joy in lifting others up. Holy Spirit, make me intentional.  Keep me from drifting into a self-centered life. 

 I know that if I do not choose this on purpose, I will naturally choose myself. So lead me daily.

 Open my eyes to see needs around me. Show me who is tired, who is overlooked, who is struggling quietly. 

 Make me brave enough to step in with kindness. 

 Make me willing to be inconvenienced when love requires it. Lord, do not et me hide behind spiritual words while walking away from real pain. 

 I do not want prayer to become an excuse for avoiding action. 

 Teach me to pray and also to move, to pray and also to serve, to pray and also to help. 

 Father, when I see someone hurting, remind me of the good Samaritan, the one who stopped when others passed by, give me that mercy. 

And when my faith feels  weak, remind me that faith is meant to live in actions. 

 Lord, let my faith show up. Let it become hands that lift, words that heal, and choices that honor you. 

Lord Jesus, keep reminding me that when I serve people, I am serving you. 

 Your word in Matthew 25: verses 35 to 40 shows that you take it personally when someone is loved in your name.  When food is given, when a thirsty person is helped, when someone lonely is welcomed, when a sick person is visited, you see it. You receive it. You count it as service to you.  Lord, let this truth change how I treat people. 

 Let me see your face in those who feel invisible. Let me honour you by honouring them. 

 Father, I pray for a spirit of generosity in 2026.  Not only generosity with money, but with time, patience, forgiveness, and encouragement. 

 Your word in 1 Peter 4:10 says, "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 

 Holy Spirit, show me my gifts and help me use them well. Do not let me bury what you gave me. 

 Teach me to bless others with what you placed in my hands.

 Lord, protect my heart from pride when I serve. 

Keep me from doing good just to be seen. 

 Teach me to serve with joy. 

Teach me to serve without keeping score. 

 Teach me to serve even when people do not say thank you. 

 And when I feel tired, give me strength to keep going. 

Your word in Galatians 6: verses 9 to 10 says, "Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 

 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all. 

 Father, help me not to become cold. 

 As this new year begins, I place my plans before you. 

 I surrender my calendar, my goals, and my desires. 

 Lead me into the works you prepared for me. 

Let this year 2026 be meaningful. 

Thank you, our Father, for loving me.

Thank you, Jesus, for showing me the way. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for walking with me. I step into 2026 with a willing heart.
