Five Point Touch Therapy: Acupressure for the Emotional Body

Simple and fast-acting self-treatment of emotional issues with acupressure points

• Illustrates how to quickly treat emotional difficulties arising from acute crises or loss and long-term issues such as depression and anxiety

• Explains how to remove the emotional blocks and scars at the root of many common physical ailments, such as eczema, ulcers, and weight gain

• Provides guidance on treating others, including babies and children, and daily treatment routines to combat stress and create emotional and energetic balance

Does emotion rule you or do you rule your emotions? With five point touch therapy, you can quickly counter negative emotional states as they arise, leaving you better able to cope with a crisis, as well as treat long-term issues such as depression and anxiety. More than just a self-help method, this technique, also called psycho-bio-acupressure (PBA), is also effective for children and babies, particularly for sleep problems and colic.

Based on Dr. Delatte’s 20 years of research and decades of hands-on practice, PBA works by sequential activation of 5 acupressure points to produce an energetic circuit in the body. This circuit can provide immediate relief from acute negative emotions and, when applied regularly, prevent future emotional overreactions and treat deep-seated destructive emotional states. The book includes 22 five-point sequences for specific emotional issues, such as panic attacks or suppressed anger, and for removing the emotional blocks and scars at the root of many common physical ailments, such as eczema, asthma, and weight gain. Dr. Delatte explains how to combine the 22 sequences to treat more than 70 additional emotional and physical ailments as well as how to use this technique with homeopathy and Bach Flower Therapy for more stubborn conditions. Providing a daily routine of self-treatment to combat stress and balance your energetic centers, this book allows you to take control of your emotions as well as protect and enhance your health.

Introduction.
During my decades-long practice as a general practitioner, I could not help but observe certain mind-boggling therapeutic results, which were not obtained by official medicine. Further, the mainstream mindset and official Cartesian perspective were at a loss when it came to explaining those baffling outcomes.

I decided to search for answers. Hoping for clarification, I took an interest in a large selection of therapies such as vibratory medicine, colour therapy, chromo therapy, magnetism, crystals, essential oils, floral exixirs ( the famous Bach essences as well as German Andrea Korte's exilirs), and so forth. I started to explore diverse alternative teachings such as a particular system devised by Doctor Patrick Veret, known as Nutripuncture, as well as mesotherapy and kinesiology. I learned with great interest about Mohammed Haddad's work on fractals and their successful use with certain types of cancer. in a word, I had a good look at many well-known and less-known systems that produce puzzling effects as yet unexplained by the general rational mindset.

For some reason, I felt I could not adhere to just one of the systems I learned about. So I decided not to limit myself to a single method, no matter how interesting it seemed. I did away with restricting boundaries and retained the systems with which I sensed a deeper harmony. My investigations, research, experiments, and selection of elements that could be amalgamated for the best results eventually produced a kind of melting pot. All this took me a long time, but my constant preoccupation and priority remained simplicity and rapidity of action to fight the enormity of the pain within and around us.

Then, a fortnight ago, my boss invited me to his place; I really did not feel like going, but I had to, so I did the circuits on myself, especially the one against depression. I was amazed to find that I did enjoy myself that evening. Also, the next day, I still felt full of energy and retained a sense of purpose; I really felt positive and time just flew by, whereas a working day usually looks endless to me. Well, this helped me to realize that I just have to spend a little time every morning to do my circuits and that this little amount of time guarantees me a much more relaxed day."  Naturally, Jack's situation had not changed, but he had gained the means to avoid depression and to wait serenely for the moment when he could be reunited with his little family.

PBA helps with children and even babies as well, as the following example demomstrate.

CASE STUDY
Infant Panic

Eight-month old Kevin had not been able to sleep since he was born. The whole family was exhausted, and the couple was on the verge of separation; each night, the father and the mother had to take turns holding baby Kevin, but no sooner was the child put back to his own bed than the cries started afresh. He can only sleep in his parent's arms.

Different approaches to the problem had been tried, s well as the one suggested by the pediatrician (let the bay cry and wait till he stops out of exhaustion). Nothing worked and Kevin cried his little heart out; it seemed as if nothing could be done. Homeopathy did not have results, though some chemical drugs did, but then, the parents rejected the idea of putting chemicals inside Kevin's system.

When I saw the baby for the first time, I started to inquire about the pregnancy and the delivery. Kevin's mother had previously lost her first baby after six months of pregnancy, and this accident had made her highly sensitive to a potential repetition of this first experience: she felt extremely anxioous and had to stop working early in her pregnancy precisely because of this high anxiety.  The delivery itself had been a disaster :   CLICK HERE TO LOOK INSIDE THE BOOK.

Let us keep in mind that all matter, regardless of how dense it may be, is made of energy. It is constituted of atoms, protons, and electrons, which vibrate together at different frequencies. We inhabit the electromagnetic field of the earth, and are surrounded by waves, from the low frequency of radio waves at one end of the spectrum to the high frequency cosmic rays at the other end. Absolutely everything is the universe is constituted of energy, which grows denser and starts to vibrate at a lower frequency when it becomes matter. This energy field is an immerse grid that encompasses everything. This is where we live, all of us. This is what connects us all.

We humans are also energetic phenomena. We operate in our own energy fields. Our vital energy radiates all around our physical body ( this "aura" can be seen by some people): it enters and leaves our body through energy centers called chakras and circulates along corridors of energy called meridians or nadis.

Health problems manifest themselves when energy is congested or when its stimulation is too high or too low. health is good when different levels of energy within and around the body are well balanced, when a condition of equilibrium prevails. One of the most ancient of healing systems acupuncture, involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points of the body in order to regulate the flow of energy through the meridians.

Chinese medicine culture acknowledge two complementary energies, yin and yang, which together constitute the chi or vitl energy. Certain organs are yin, the liver, for example, while others are yang, such as the stomach.  There are about 365 acupuncture points along those meridians where the vital energy is concentrated.

The insertion of acupuncture needles into the skin at these specific points allows the stimulation or the reduction of the flow of energy through the meridians; this influences the quality of energy that reaches the organs and rebalances the way they work. A proper circulation of energy provides us with a sense of harmony.

For the skeptics, let us mention here that, although these famous meridians have no anatomical support, their existence has recently been demonstrated by Western science: the variations of the beta radiations along their course have been recorded and mapped out on meditating yogis.

Glossary of Conditions
and Recommended Protocols

Overwork
Circuits 2,1

Working in excessive amounts may cause depression, we could compare this special depression to a bone fracture of an athlete who has overestimated his resistance capacity and gone far beyond his current limits.

Panic
Circuits 2, 3, (6), 7, (9)

See Panic Protocol:
Anxiety is clearly difficult to live with: it involves a constant sensation of having a weight on the chest, and occasionally the sensation of a painful burn at the level of the solar plexus.

A constant lump in one's throat, achingly clenched jaws, endless palpitations, and a throbbing migraine that induces tension in the cervical vertebrae: these symptoms signal that anxiety is on its way to becoming a chronic problem. Life soon grows intolerable and psychosomatic reactions begin to take a number of guises, such as stomach ulcer, psoriasis attacks, or even cancers. Anxiety must be tracked down and treated as soon as it is detected.
Panic is a more transitory state : it takes the form of amplified anxiety;  it is paralyzing and causes nausea, cold sweats, and the inability to do normal activities of life such as boarding an airplane or driving a car. Panic is terrifying, as it induces an overwhelming feeling of imminent death.

Psycho-Bio-Acupressure (PBA) will be of great help here. The protocol to be used is circuits 2, 3, 7 (against negativity and fear, and restoring the fundamental vibration), and, if needed, circuit 9 to restore the yin-yang balance. If it seems as though the person has experienced a major psychological shock, squeeze circuit 6 for removing energetic scars between circuits 3 and 7 , but do this only once, as this circuit is usually definitively and  immediately effective.

Perfectionism
Circuit 3, 4

Perfectionism requires circuit 4, as obviously a perfectionist's main issue is not knowing how to let go.

Perfectionism is originally a system of defense used by people who fear criticism and aggressiveness. It has its source in childhood and so has the fear. To keep fear at bay, the unconscious mind basically reasons like this: being perfect is the only way to avoid criticism. It is the only way to stay safe. It is important that you include the Fear Protocol at the beginning of the treatment.

Phobias
Circuits 2, 3, 4, 7

Irrational fear leads to wrong decisions, the consequences of which will negatively impact your life.

Premature Ejaculation
Circuits 2, 1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 19, 21

When we studied circuit 21, we observed that this issue could be experienced as a real nightmare by the affected person and by his partner as well. In some cases, frustrations lead to divorce: the man often refuses the very idea of talking about the issue or simply gets angry when the subject is broached; his sense of self-worth is gone and he feels diminished, believing that there's no cure. He realizes that his partner feels frustrated and this obviously increases his feeling of unease, not to say despair. His partner usually keeps silent about the whole thing and the couple's life as husband and wife is definitely jeopardized.

Stomach Ulcers
Circuits (10), 2, 3,5, (6), 7, 20

Stomach ulcers are another psychosomatic condition, and not the least one.

Apply circuits 2 and 3 (against negativity and fear). circuit 5 (against hyper-emotionality), circuit 6 (if the causal event has been traumatic), and 20 ( to energize the solar plexus); this last circuit feeds energy to the stomach. Don't forget circuit 10 ( to deal with suppressed anger) if the ulcer is related to an unsolved conflict or to a bullying incident.

Stress (Temporary)
Circuits 3, 7

Stress can have an impact on all aspects of your existence. it must be managed before it escalates.

Tics and OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorders)
Circuits 2, (1), 3, 5, 6, 8

Tics are definitely stress related (constant flicker of the eyelids for example); so are obsessive compulsive disorders (such as repetitive washing  of one's hands caused by fear of contamination). Tics are successfully treated  with circuit 3 against fear and possibly circuit 1 if you suspect a depressive state; circuit 5 against hyper- emotionality and 6 to remove the scars left by previous trauma improve the situation remarkably: the children I have treated this way have recovered in a short time.

I always recommend that the patients "let go" of the problem instead of focusing on it, which only worsens the situation. Pressure definitely won't help and anxiety will just build faster; all that will be achieved will be an exacerbation of the child's anxiety and tics.  The first thing to do is to seem to notice nothing.

Nonetheless we have to remember that tics are warning signals: as soon as they reappear, we may safely say that another incidents has destabilized the child again; parents are familiar with this pattern and have often told me: " something must have happened at school; he has started to stammer again."

Tonsillitis, Repetitive
Circuits 2, (1), 3, (4), 5, (6), 7, 8

See also Infections, Repetitive.
Expression is definitely an issue here; .......

Chapter 3

The Ten Most Commonly Used Five-Point PBA Circuits

Stimulating the psycho-bio-acupressure circuits rebalances our energy, allowing for self-treatment of a variety of emotional issues. Each circuit consists of five points, which, with the assistance of the following illustrations, we will learn how to locate on our body.

To stimulate the circuit, apply firm pressure to each of the five points, then, without pausing, apply pressure to each point a second and third time. The pressure should be firm but not painful. The objective is a simultaneous stimulation of the points, so we want the tissues to keep the memory of the pressure. In other words, even after you have stopped pressing on the five points, you (or the person you are treating) should feel the pressure lingering for a few moments. This is crucial: the pressure must be firm enough for the tissues to keep the memory of it. This is how a “printed circuit” is produced, allowing us to activate the desired energies.

Tips for Stimulating the Circuits

- If there’s one acupressure point that you have stopped feeling after you have finished stimulating the circuit, don’t hesitate to reapply pressure to it; you may want to apply pressure a little longer this time.

- Despite the accuracy of the sketches, you may not feel very confident when you begin. Don’t hesitate to feel around for the correct point; the points vary slightly from person to person. Place your thumb or index finger on the spot depicted in the illustration. (Your other fingers are not strong enough to stimulate the points.) While keeping your finger on the spot, apply deeper pressure a bit to the right and then a bit to the left, slightly above and then slightly below. Explore the area until you hit a sensitive zone: this is the point you want. When you have located the correct point, maintain firm, steady pressure for about five seconds.

- If you don’t find the sensitive zone, don’t worry--sensitivity varies from person to person. You can’t go too far wrong; the surface of your finger largely covers the area you want to target.

For readers who are familiar with acupuncture or shiatsu, each point will be given its identification number as indicated in the standard referencing system used by professionals.

Before you begin, remove your watch and any magnetic jewelry and empty your pockets of mobile phones, remotes, and the like, as these objects can interfere with the action of PBA.

Circuit Number 2
Against Negativity and Doubt

Negativity is easy to recognize: it is a state of mind where everything is perceived and experienced as negative and gloomy. Being affected by negativity does not mean being truly depressed, though negativity may well be a sign of depression if it lasts for too long.

Basically, being negative means invariably and exclusively seeing the negative side of events and people; it means feeling antagonized and criticized all the time as well as exasperated by everything around you; it means seeing the empty half of the glass in all things; and it means feeling separated from the rest of the world, which is experienced as hostile.

Systematic doubt is part of negativity: you start your day feeling that nothing is going to work, you have stopped believing in anything, and you have the impression that you are just wasting your time. You are unable to visualize a horizon that could be free from the feeling of separation and loss. You begin to distrust your usual ethical values and the system you used to believe in. If we let doubt invade all aspects of our life, we are obviously in a negative state of mind and possibly on our way to depression.

This circuit is extremely important, as it will be found in practically every protocol we’ll be studying a bit later (these protocols help us manage all the destructive emotions that weaken and destabilize us).

First Point: SP6 L (Left)
On the inside of the left ankle, locate the protuberance (the medial malleolus); proceed along the side of the tibia for about 5 centimeters, then press firmly on the posterior border of the bone; this point is often sensitive.

If you are working on yourself, place the little finger of your right hand exactly on the internal malleolus of your left ankle: the point will be situated just under your index finger. Make sure you press on the posterior border of the tibia and not upon its anterior border.

If you are working on someone else, place yourself on the left side of the patient and put the little finger of your left hand on his malleolus; the point will be right under your index finger.

Second Point: LI4 R (Right)
The second point is located between the first and second metacarpals, on the radial aspect of the middle of the second metacarpal bone, at the highest spot of the muscle when the thumb and index fingers are brought close together. Separate your thumb from your index finger and exert pressure right in the middle.

Third Point
(Special Point on the Right Foot)
This point is located between the extensor tendons of the third and fourth toes, about 2 centimeters from their base.

Fourth Point: LU7 L (Left)
This point is located 3 centimeters from the most distal skin crease of the wrist, proximal to the styloid of the radius in a depression between the tendons of brachioradialis and abductor pollicis longus. It is located a little above the left wrist crease in the spot where you feel your pulse.

Fifth Point: GV23

This point is located in the depression that corresponds to what remains of the anterior fontanel you had as a baby. Start at the hairline and make sure you follow the axis of the cranium; as soon as you feel the little depression, you know you are there. Look in a mirror to make sure you follow the sagittal line of your head.

THE POWER OF FEELINGS (the Secret)

THE POWER OF FEELINGS

Feeling is the secret.

I am a Feeling Being

From  the moment I am born, I am always feeling something, and so is every other person. I can stop my conscious thoughts when I'm sleeping, but I can never stop feeling, because to be alive is to feel life.  I am a feeling "being" to the core of I , and so it's no accident that every part of my human body is created so I can feel life!

I have the sense of sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch, so that I can feel everything in life.  They are "feeling" senses, because they enable me to feel what I see, feel what I hear, feel what I taste, feel what I smell and touch.  My entire body is covered with a fine layer of skin, which is a feeling organ, my largest organ, so I can feel everything.

How I feel in any one moment is more important than anything else, because how i feel right now is creating my life.

My Feelings Are The Fuel

My thoughts and words have no power at all in my life without my feelings.  I think so many thoughts in a day that don't amount to anything because many of my thoughts don't elicit a strong feeling within me. It's what I feel that matters!

Imagine my thoughts and words as being like a rocket ship , and my feelings as the fuel. A rocket ship is a stationary vehicle that can't do anything without fuel, because the fuel is the power that lifts the rocket ship. It's the same with my thoughts and words. My thoughts and words are vehicles that can't do anything without my feelings, because my feelings are the power of my thoughts and words!

If I think, " I can't stand my boss, " that thought is expressing a strong negative feeling I have about my boss, and I am giving out that negative feeling. As a consequence, my relationship with my boss will continue to get worse.

If I think, " I work with some fabulous people in my job, " these words are expressing the positive feeling I have about the people I work with and I am giving out that positive feeling. As a consequence, my relationships with my work colleagues will continue to get better.

The emotions must be called upon to give feeling to the thought so it will take form.

Good and Bad Feelings

Like everything else in life, my feelings can be either positive or negative, I   have good feelings or bad feelings.  And good feelings come from love! And all negative feelings come from a lack of love. The better I feel, like when I feel joyful, the more love I give out. And the more love I give, the more I receive

The worse I feel, like when I feel despair, the more negativity I give out.  And the more negativity I give, the more negativity I receive back in life. The reason I feel so bad with negative feelings is because love is the positive force of life, and negative feelings don't have much love in them!

The better I feel, the better life gets.

Veni, Vidi, Vici

"He touched her ...the fever left her."

WHEN I was in my 'teens, an older friend asked me if I had read the works of Charles Dickens. I had not ; though I have since remedied the defect. My friend exclaimed, "Oh, I envy you the thrill of a first reading!"

Caesar' famous words, Veni, Vidi, Vici : " I came ; I saw ; I conquered."
I have sometimes wished we could read these Gospel incidents as though for the first time. Would there bot be wide-eyed wonder? Well, we cannot go back in time and read them for the first time, but however often we return to them, we find something new.

The Bible Scriptures often state the most amazing things with the most stringent verbal economy. In no other writings is so much said in so little, and with such wealth of latent new surprise. As I recently re-read the two short verses which record how Jesus healed Peter's mother-in-law my mind darted back to the Latin class,  Caesar' famous words, Veni, Vidi, Vici : " I came ; I saw ; I conquered." How truly the words describe what happened when the Lord Jesus entered Simon's house! Side track, from these verses, I know for sure that Peter was a married man and the Roman Catholic Church version of Peter being the first pope and never married is falsehood.

Veni, Vidi, Vici : " I came ; I saw ; I conquered."
First, then, Jesus came into Peter's house. Has Jesus come into ours?  It is an interesting circumstance that Peter's hone was there at that time. In John 1:44 tells us that Peter lived in Bethsaida, but here we find his home in Capernaum. There has been a removal. Why ? Well, Jesus had now come to live in Capernaum . Mr. and Mrs. Peter had an earnest chat, and decided to remove there too. They had not been very long in their new home before Peter Simon's wife's mother was stricken with fever. Affliction comes even those who follow Christ Jesus ; but the compensation is that He is always easy to access.  The more fully we follow Him, the more immediate is his help. peter and his dear wife " besought Him"to heal the dear invalid, and at once He came.

Second, Jesus saw .Luke, who was a doctor-writer, tells us that it was a "great fever",  old-time physicians classified fevers into "great" and "small", modern time doctors say high-fever and mild fever, respectively. This patient's condition was serious. her loved ones were deeply anxious. Who wouldn't be? Jesus took in the situation at once. He "saw" with eyes such as no other diagnostician ever had.

Third, Jesus conquered. "The fever left her." There was no slow, delayed, uncertain reducing of the fever, like the slow subjugating of an obstinate enemy. The cure was immediate and complete."She arose and ministered to them."  Luke adds a vivid touch : " He rebuked the fever" - as though there was an evil intelligence behind it . If there was, then both disease and demon fled at the omnipotent touch of that Hand!

All this illustrates what happens or is meant to happen, when Jesus Christ comes into a human heart-home. He comes. He sees. He conquers! Veni, Vidi, Vici. The sin-fever, the passion-demon, the soul-sickness, the worry-prostration, give way before His wonder-working touch., if we really put Jesus Christ in command ; so that instead of our being ministered to all the while, we rise and "minister" to others in His Name !

The big question for each of us is, " Has He really come, and seen, and conquered, in my heart and life? Am I allowing Him to do in my nature what he did in Peter's home?"
Remember, His sympathy is equaled by His invincibility!

Shackled by a heavy burden
Neath a load of guilt and shame
Then the hand of Jesus touched me
And now I am no longer the same

He touched me, oh He touched me
And oh the joy that floods my soul
Something happened and now I know
He touched me and made me whole

Since I met this blessed Savior
Since He cleansed and made me whole
I will never cease to praise Him
I'll shout it while eternity rolls

He touched me oh He touched me
And oh the joy that floods my soul
Something happened and now I know
He touched me and made me whole

History Revisit/ First reading.....

Veni Vidi Vici

When Pompey and the Senate fled Rome from Caesar in 49 BC, he did so without an army. As a result, he was forced to draw upon the eastern provinces and allied client states for recruits and supply. With garrisons and massive levies being shipped off to Greece to Pompey's camp, the east was left dangerously vulnerable.

Pharnaces II, king of Pontus, and son of the great Roman enemy Mithridates VI, used the Roman civil war to his advantage. He began a systematic process of re-taking those lands which once belonged to his father's kingdom, and Rome or its allies could do little to stop it.
When Caesar defeated Pompey at Pharsalus in 48 BC, he still had no opportunity to deal with the Pharnaces situation. The war in Alexandria delayed any immediate reaction and his subsequent affair occupied his attention for the seasonal winter months of 48 to 47 BC. Caesar's legate, Gnaeus Domitius Calvinus, was installed as governor of Asia in the interim and did all he could to stop the Pontic advances, but had little success. Calvinus gave battle and the Romans acquitted themselves well, but its allies were cut up badly. Caesar's trouble in Egypt prompted him to request aid from King Mithridates of Pergamum, further depleting the potential resistance to Pharnaces forcing Calvinus to make do.

In a fortunate turn of events, Pharnaces' appointed governor of Crimea revolted, allowing the Romans to recuperate in Asia Minor for the winter. Meanwhile, Caesar was victorious in Egypt, and the lull back in Asia gave him the opportunity to relax on the Nile with Cleopatra.
By the campaign season of 47 BC, Caesar left Egypt and began an overland march through the far eastern provinces. Heading towards the trouble with Pharnaces, Caesar traveled through Judaea and Syria, accepting apologies and granting pardons to those foreign kings and Roman governors who had supported Pompey. In so doing, he was also able to rebuild his war chest through the various tributes paid to him. Boarding ship in Syria Caesar next sailed to Tarsus in Cilicia where he called a meeting of the regional leaders. Securing loyalty once again and laying out his plan of action, Caesar continued the march north to Pontus.

Pharnaces meanwhile, well aware of Caesar's approach and his now notorious clemency, asked Caesar for a pardon of his own. Despite the fact that Pharnaces was the only eastern king who remained neutral in the Roman civil war (as all other in the east had declared for Pompey) Caesar rebutted that only Pharnaces attacked Roman citizens, plundering and killing as he took advantage of the situation.
Still, Caesar offered a peaceful solution, declaring that Pharnaces could be forgiven if he quit Pontus, released Roman prisoners, restored any financial damage done in the process, and of course, pay a hefty tribute. Pharnaces at first agreed, but it was no secret that Caesar had pressing matters both in Rome and against hold out Republican resistance elsewhere. Marcus Antonius, appointed by Caesar as his master of horse (Caesar had been appointed to the dictatorship while in Egypt), was sent back to Rome to oversee administration of the city and was not living up to the task. Pharnaces took advantage and sought to delay Caesar as long as possible, hoping he would decide other matters were more urgent, but Caesar had lost patience.
In May of 47 BC, Pharnaces camped his army on a hill near the town of Zela and Caesar on an opposite hill. The place had historical significance in that Pharnaces' father; Mithridates had defeated a Roman army 20 years earlier. Separated by a valley a few miles apart, the two armies began to position for battle. Caesar, with 4 legions first began to build fortifications, assuming that Pharnaces had no taste for open battle against him, but he soon found this to be wrong. On or about May 30th, Pharnaces moved his lines towards Caesar, attacking with scythed chariots, but the Romans held them back with their pila. The Pontic army engaged full force and hand to hand fighting erupted across the lines.

Despite their tenacity and the advantage of the initial advance, Pharnaces' forces were likely exhausted from the up hill fight. Before long, their lines began to break and it was only a matter of time before the entire army was sent into a rout. Pharnaces managed to escape with some cavalry but his entire army was slaughtered or captured in the overwhelming Roman victory. Caesar claimed that the entire affair, including the rounding up of fleeing prisoners took no more than 4 hours.
Caesar, not only erased the blemish of the earlier Roman loss on this very site, he erected a monument to commemorate just that event. He set about reorganizing parts of the eastern provinces and set up Mithridates of Pergamum as King of Pontus in recognition for his loyalty and service in Egypt. Caesar then crossed from Asia to Thracia, and set sail for Italy. In the meantime, in recognition of his overwhelming victory, he sent a simple, but powerful message back to Rome and the Senate: "VENI VIDI VICI", I came, I saw, I conquered.
