The Great Back-Door Secret to Wealth

The Great Back-Door Secret to Wealth

I received a check in the mail today from a long-
lost friend. The check is for only a portion of the
money he owes me. But since he took almost ten
years to send this amount, I am glad to see it.

Ten years ago he hired me to write a detailed
marketing strategy for him. At that time, I
charged a few thousand dollars for such a service.
He agreed to it and said he would pay. I did the
work and he didn't pay.

Because he was my friend, I let the invoice slide.
Months went by. Then years. Then he moved to
another state. And I moved to another city. He
went on his way in life and basically dropped out
of my awareness. I went on my own way and
fairly quickly became somewhat famous on the
Internet for my books and tapes.

(The Greatest Money-Making Secret in History! - Joe Vitale - Page 21)

One day a few months ago I received an email
from someone who wanted to co-author a book
with me. He said he knew some of my friends,
and mentioned the one who owed me money.
As soon as I saw my old friend's name, my blood
pressure rose. I felt myself get angry. I felt ripped
off. Betrayed. Hurt.

I took some deep breaths and calmed myself
down. I talked to myself. I reminded myself that
the universe is a big place (some understatement)
and that wealth can come from many avenues, not
just from past invoices. I decided to forgive my
friend. And I did, mentally. I sincerely let him and
his debt go. I didn't need the money. And I didn't
need to be right.

After maybe nine years, my friend sent me an
email. He said he knew he owed me money. He
explained that he had tough times, that he had
moved, that he was trying to make it as a
professional speaker. He added that he wanted
to bring peace to our old friendship.

I wrote him a brief note saying we already had
peace. I also invited him to pay off his invoice by
sending me a check for a tiny percentage of what
he owed me (about twenty percent, as I recall).
He agreed.

Well, he didn't send me a check. Not right away,
anyway. Several more months passed before I
heard from him again. This time it was another
email, and this time he was again explaining his
situation to me.

I remained at peace. I knew I would have money.
It didn't have to come from him. The universe---
whatever you want to call that

(The Greatest Money-Making Secret in History! - Joe Vitale - Page 22)

power bigger than you or I---would see that money
came to me as long as I stayed in the flow. And
being at peace is a good way to stay in the flow.

And, as I explained in the beginning of this chapter,
the check arrived today.

I have no idea how my old friend felt as he wrote
that check. I hope he did it with a heart full of joy.
If so, he activated the money attracting principle.

I know when I wrote a check for $500 to my
brother, who had helped me out of a bind twenty
years before and I finally paid himoff, I felt
exhilarated. Writing that check to Ted made me
feel like a king. And it gave me such an inner
sense of peace that that alone was worth a million
dollars.

I'm calling this sense of peace---or forgiveness, if
you will---a back-door secret to wealth.

Where in your life are you holding grudges
because someone owes you money? Or maybe
because you owe someone money?

Let it go. Talk to yourself. Allow yourself the
heavenly awareness that the universe provides,
not your friends. Money doesn't come to you from
them, it comes to you through them.

Once you can let the grudges go, you free
yourself to receive.

Founders : Why Jeunesse Was Founded

Jeunesse's Birthday : 09.09.09.09 (tt.dd.mm.yy)
[9:00pm.09th.(September).2009]

(video transcript)

(Wendy): We started Jeunesse for two reasons. The first was to help the distributors reach their dream and also to feed children around the world.
(Randy): Wendy and I went out to California because I was meeting this doctor to have stem cells injections in my knee and in the process of discussing what stem cells can do for one, he mentioned that he had created a serum that he sold to his patients in his practice. And we thought that's something that a lot of people could use around the world. The rest is history as they say. It took off like a rocket.
(Wendy): My role is to make sure everything's running properly . So I worlk more with the operational side. Randy is more fun, I'm kind of boring.
(Randy): I sure am more fun!
(Wendy): He's always telling jokes and having fun and I'm the serious one in the group.
(Randy): It's an excellent combination. We are really, really ideally suited for each in every regard and besides that, you being my best friend helps a lot.
(Wendy): Yeah! and we work together seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days a year.
(Randy): You are wonderful!
(Wendy): Yeah, and you're so wonderful, so we both happy.
(Randy): (smiling) Ooohhh ..... Several people have referred to Wendy and I as the mom-and-pap of Jeunesse. And they look at us as that we are the head of the family.
(Wendy): We feel that part of our job is to take care of them. And make sure they have the best opportunity, the best products. So, it's kind of nurturing thing and we are one big family.
(Randy): Our entire approach has always been that we want to have a distributor-centric company in the distributors do well. As a by-product, the company should do well. I think our responsibility is to provide the tools for the people to go out and earn a living and build their dream. And if you think about the ripple effect that has on their family, their extended family, and the whole community that they live in, that's, that's powerful! That's very powerful.
(Wendy): I can tell you this, that, I don't see retirement in our future. We tried three times, didn't work. But we like working. Our goal is to get to at least a billion and then beyond because that will say, we have opened in a lot of countries and a lot of people are profiting and doing well and living jeunesse and generation young. We want them to feel good, live longer, enjoy life. What makes us a success today is the same thing that will make us a success in the future.  It is the distributors. It is their passion, their love, their hard work that makes us successful. We want others to achieve whatever their dreams are , too, because we've been so lucky to achieve our dreams. That's what keep us passionate and keep us going.

In Memory of our Family Very Dear Close Friend and sister-in-Christ, Lucy U Po

I first met sister Lucy U Po in a Christian fellowship,  way back in 1988.
Through the years, she has been a very close friendly-sister to our family. She attended my wedding; she always asked about my son's well being ; and she also visited us when my son was born. She nicknamed him as JJ.

Today, at 21:21:51, i received a sms : Bro & Sis, bro Alan's wife (i.e. sister Lucy U Po) passed away today. Alan's HP is ********. Wake at Block 536A Multi-Purpose Hall, Woodlands Dr 14. Monday is the funeral, 10am leaving Block 536A for Mandai Crematorium.

I was shocked to learn this news.

My son said, " I am devastated. Hope mommy doesn't cry too much."

Cancer is a destructive disease that breaks down the human body completelyBut one thing it cannot break is the spirit. https://www.facebook.com/patricialin86/posts/10151314729335953

What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.

Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them.

A friend who dies, it's something of you who dies.

The day which we fear as our last is but the birthday of eternity. For death is no more than a turning of us over from time to eternity.

WHAT IS CANCER, AND WHY DOES IT EVENTUALLY KILL?

Date: Saturday, November 17, 2012, 12:11 PM
Subject: Fwd: Eulogy - Tribute to Mummy

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. that's why it's called the Present." Thank you everyone for being here. It's the best present you have brought along for my family today. To my relatives who travelled from overseas to make it for today, thank you very much.

My name is Patricia, and I'm the only daughter of Lucy. I know you all know my mum personally in one way or another. It could be at school, at work, it could be in the neighbourhood or probably, simply because she's my mum, or an aunt or cousin to you. But there's only one way I know her. To me, she's my dearest mother. The mum that I couldn't have chosen but the mum whom I would choose again if I could.

My mum is an incredibly kind, helpful and generous person. She never fails to lend a helping hand to friends, family and even strangers. She makes the effort to know the bus 900 bus drivers, the cashiers at Shop & Save, the neighbour who just moved in and the child sitting across her in the MRT.

Her smile is ever radiant and genuine that it warms even the coldest person in the room.

That's how she stole my dad's heart.

My mum is originally from the Philippines. She's the baby of the Po family who grew up as a young, intelligent woman who later went to medical school with the plan of becoming a doctor. However, little did she know, my dad, her penpal for 14 years from Singapore, was to be her soulmate and life partner.

The first time my dad went to the Philippines was for a practical reason, to go on a holiday. He was choosing between the USA and Philippines but figured Philippines was nearer and cheaper. And he had a penpal who was excited to meet him for the very first time.

My dad and mum always recall the faithful day with laughter. She was so excited about his arrival that she was jumping in the crowded airport to catch his attention and welcomed him with a beautiful smile.

That is the smile that stole my dad's heart.

And that smile continued to radiate in so many people's lives.

The friends, family, neighbours and colleagues who have stepped forth during the past few months to comfort her, console her and even care for her.. are the fruits of the seeds she has sowed in their lives over the past 56 years of her life.

When she was first diagnosed with cancer, she told the doctor, "I have no regrets. I think I have lived my life well." Now I can't help but agree.

As my father and I experience the love, care and concern from everyone during this journey, we truly understood the unconditional love my mother gave out of herself to those who crossed paths with her.

Today, in the presence of everyone, we want to say we are very proud of her - of the many things she's done in her life, big and small.

And ...

We thank God for being with her in this ardous battle against cancer.

We thank God for the victory she has had.

We thank God for making her a blessing in so many people's lives.

We thank God that He has received her with open arms.

She fought a good fight in her battle with cancer and remained faithful of God's love and grace.

What holds for us tomorrow is a mystery. But my mum always says, Trust in the Lord. And in the Lord we will trust.

We will dearly miss Lucy, a great mother, a loving wife and a faithful child of God. We will always love her and remember her for who she is and she will always be in our hearts.

Before I end, I'll like to share with you an SMS my mum sent me on Valentines' Day. It goes like this, "Love is d greatest Healing Power - at d end of our lives after all our successes n failures the value of our lives is determined by how much we have loved - :-)"

I hope we'll always remember her unconditional love for us and remember to love as well.

Thank you.
