The Shocking Truth about Intentions

zero limits 4 :The Shocking Truth about Intentions

Our subjective inner life is what really matters to
us as human beings.Yet we know and understand
relatively little of how it arises and how it
functions in our conscious will to act. Benjamin Libet, Mind Time

After that first call with Dr. Hew Len, I eagerly wanted to know more. I asked him about the seminar he was doing a few weeks later. He didn’t try to sell me on it. He said he was constantly clearing so only the right people went to it. He didn’t want a crowd. He wanted open hearts. He trusted that Divinity—his favorite term for the power bigger than all of us, yet all of us—would bring the right arrangement.

I asked my friend Mark Ryan, the man who first
told me about Dr. Hew Len, if he wanted to
attend. I offered to pay his way, as a gift for
telling me about this miracle and miracle worker.
Mark agreed, of course.

I did a little more research before the trip. I
wondered if this therapist’s method had anything
to do with huna, a popular healing method from
Hawaii. As I read, I learned it had nothing at all to
do with it. Huna is the name that entrepreneur-
turned-author Max Freedom Long gave his version
of Hawaiian spiritualism. He claimed to have
learned a secret tradition from Hawaiian friends
while working as a schoolteacher in Hawaii. He
founded the Huna Fellowship in 1945 and later
published a series of books, one of the most
popular being The Secret Science Behind Miracles.
While fascinating, Long’s work had nothing to do
with the therapist I was investigating. As I was
beginning to learn, the therapist was practicing
something Long had never heard of, at least not
in the way Dr. Hew Len practiced it.

As I kept reading and learning, my curiosity
deepened. I could hardly wait for the day I would
fly out and meet the healer himself.

I flew out to Los Angeles, met with Mark, and went to Calabasa, California. Mark showed me Los Angeles before doing so, and we had a great time. But we both wanted to meet the man we had heard so much about. While Mark and I had stimulating and deep conversations over breakfast, what we both wanted was the seminar.

When we went to the event room, we found a line
of about 30 people. I kept trying to stand on my
toes so I could see over everyone’s head. I wanted
to see the healer. I wanted to see the mystery man.
I wanted to see Dr. Hew Len. When I finally made
it to the door, Dr. Hew Len greeted me.

"Aloha, Joseph,” he said, extending his hand. He
was soft-spoken yet with charisma and authority.
He wore Dockers, sneakers, an open shirt, and a
business jacket. He also wore a baseball cap,
which I later learned is his trademark.

“Aloha, Mark,” he said to my friend.

There was small talk as he asked about our flight,
how long it took to get from Texas to Los Angeles,
and so on. I loved this man instantly. Something
about his quiet confidence and grandfatherly
style of being made me resonate with him.

Dr. Hew Len likes to start on time. As soon as the event began, he called on me.

“Joseph, when you delete something from your computer, where does it go?”

“I have no idea,” I replied. Everyone laughed. I’m sure they had no idea, either.

“When you erase something from your computer, where does it go?” he asked the room.

“To the recycle bin,” someone shouted out.

“Exactly,” Dr. Hew Len said.“It’s still on your computer, but it’s out of sight.Your memories are like that. They are still in you, just out of sight. What you want to do is erase them completely and permanently.”

I found this fascinating, but I had no idea what it meant or where it was going. Why would I want memories permanently deleted?

“You have two ways to live your life,” Dr. Hew Len explained. “From memory or from inspiration. Memories are old programs replaying. Inspiration is the Divine giving you a message. You want to come from inspiration. The only way to hear the Divine and receive inspiration is to clean all memories. The only thing you have to do is clean.”

Dr. Hew Len spent a lot of time explaining how the Divine is our zero state—it’s where we have zero limits. No memories. No identity. Nothing but the Divine. In our lives we have moments of visiting the zero limits state, but most of the time we have garbage—what he calls memories—playing out.

“When I worked at the mental hospital and would look at patients’ charts,” he told us, “I would feel pain inside me. This was a shared memory. It was a program that caused the patients to act the way they did. They had no control. They were caught up in a program. As I felt the program, I cleaned.”

Cleaning became the recurring theme. He told us a variety of ways to clean, most of which I can’t explain here because they are confidential. You have to attend a ho’oponopono workshop to learn them all (see www.hooponopono.org). But here is the method of cleaning Dr. Hew Len used the most, and still uses, and the one I use today:

There are simply four statements that you say over and over, nonstop, addressing them to the Divine.

“I love you.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Please forgive me.”

“Thank you.”

As we went through this first weekend event, the phrase “I love you” became part of my mental chatter. Just as sometimes you wake up with a song playing in your head, I’d wake up hearing “I love you” in my head.Whether I consciously said it or not, it was there. It was a beautiful feeling. I didn’t know how it was clearing anything, but I did it anyway. How could “I love you” be bad in any way, shape, or form?

At one point in the event, Dr. Hew Len again singled me out. He asked, “Joseph, how do you know whether something is a memory or an inspiration?”

I didn’t understand the question and said so.

“How do you know if someone who gets cancer gave it to themselves or it was given to them by the Divine as a challenge to help them?”

I was silent for a moment. I tried to process the question. How do you know when an event is from your own mind or from the mind of the Divine?

“I have no idea,” I replied.

“And neither do I,” Dr. Hew Len said. “And that’s why you have to constantly clean, clean, clean. You have to clean on anything and everything, as you have no idea what is a memory and what is inspiration. You clean to get to a place of zero limits, which is the zero state.”

Dr. Hew Len states that our minds have a tiny view of the world, and that view is not only incomplete but also inaccurate. I didn’t buy this concept until I picked up the book, The Wayward Mind by Guy Claxton.

In it Claxton writes of experiments that prove our brains tell us what to do before we consciously decide to do it. In one famous experiment a neuroscientist named Benjamin Libet hooked people up to an electroencephalogram (EEG) machine, which showed what was happening in their brains. It revealed that a surge of brain activity took place before the person had the conscious intention to do something, suggesting that the intention came from the unconscious, and then entered conscious awareness.

Claxton writes that Libet “discovered that the intention to move appeared about a fifth of a second before the movement began—but that a surge of activity in the brain reliably appeared about a third of a second before the intention!”

According to William Irvine, in his book, On Desire: Why We Want What We Want, “Experiments such as these suggest that our choices are not formed in a conscious, rational manner. Instead, they bubble up from our unconscious mind, and when they finally reach the surface of consciousness we take ownership of them.”

And Benjamin Libet himself, the man who ran the controversial and revealing experiments, wrote in his book, Mind Time: “The unconscious appearance of an intention to act could not be controlled consciously. Only its final consummation in a motor act could be consciously controlled.”

In other words, the urge to pick up this book may seem like it came from your conscious choice, but in reality your brain first sent a signal to pick it up and then your conscious mind followed with a stated intention, something like,“This book looks interesting. I think I’ll pick
it up.” You could have chosen to not pick up this book, which you would have rationalized in some other way, but you could not control the origin of signal itself that was nudging you to take action.

I know this is hard to believe. According to Claxton,“No intention is ever hatched in consciousness; no plan ever laid there. Intentions are premonitions; icons that flash in the corners of
consciousness to indicate what may be about to occur.”

Apparently a clear intention is nothing more than a clear  premonition.

The thing that troubles me is this: Where did the thought come from?

This is mind-blowing. Since I wrote about the
power of intention in my book The Attractor
Factor, and since I spoke about it in the movie
The Secret, coming to realize intentions aren’t my
choice at all was a shock. It appears that what I
thought I was doing when I set an intention was
simply verbalizing an impulse already in motion
from my brain.

The question then becomes, what or who made my brain send the intention? In fact, I later asked Dr. Hew Len,“Who’s in charge?” He laughed and said he loved the question.

Well, what’s the answer?

I confess I was still confused about intentions. I
lost 80 pounds by being mentally tough and
asserting my intention to lose weight. So was
declaring an intention or just responding to my
brain’s signal to lose weight? Was it an inspiration
or a memory? I wrote and asked Dr. Hew Len. He
replied, saying:

Nothing exists at Zero, Ao Akua, no problems,
including the need for intention.

Weight concerns are simply memories replaying, and these memories displace Zero, you. To return to Zero, you, requires Divinity erasing memories behind weight concerns.

Only two laws dictate experiences: Inspiration from Divinity and Memory stored in the Subconscious Mind, the former Brand-New and the latter Old.

Jesus is purported to have said: “Seek ye first the Kingdom (Zero) and all else will be added (Inspiration).”

Zero is the residence of you and Divinity . . .
“from where and from whom all blessings—
Wealth, Health, and Peace—flow.”

POI, (PEACE OF I)
Dr. Hew Len

From what I could see, Dr. Hew Len was looking past intentions and going to the source—the zero state, where there are zero limits. From there you experience memory or inspiration. Concern about weight is a memory. The only thing to do is love it and forgive it and even give thanks for it. By cleaning it, you ensure that the Divine has a chance to come through with an inspiration.

What appears to be the truth is that my desire to overeat, which made me obese most of my life, was a program. It bubbles up from my unconscious. Unless I clean it, it will stay there and keep bubbling. As it keeps surfacing, I have to keep being aware of my choice: to overeat or not. This ends up being a lifelong battle. It’s no fun.Yes, you can over-ride the tendency to indulge by saying no to it. But obviously, that
takes enormous energy and diligence. In time, saying no to indulging may become a new habit. But what a hell to go through to get there!

Instead, by cleaning on the memory, it will one day disappear. Then the desire to overeat will no longer surface. Only peace will remain.

In short, intention was a limp rag compared to inspiration. As long as I kept intending to do something, I kept fighting with what is. As soon as I gave in to inspiration, life was transformed.

I still wasn’t sure if this was how the world actually worked, and I was still confused about the power of intention. So I decided to keep exploring.

I had dinner with Rhonda Byrne, the creator and producer of the hit movie The Secret. I asked her something I longed to know. I asked, “Did you create the idea for the movie, or did you receive the idea?”

I knew she had received the inspiration to create the now-famous movie trailer that caused a viral marketing epidemic. (See it at www.thesecret.tv.) She once told me that the idea for the movie teaser came to her suddenly and within a few
seconds. She made the actual preview within 10
minutes. Clearly she received some sort of
inspiration that led to the making of the strongest
movie teaser in history.

But I wanted to know if the idea for the final
feature movie itself came from inspiration or if
she felt she did it for some other reasons. This
was the crux of my concern about intentions.
Were we stating intentions that made a difference
or receiving ideas that we later called intentions?
That’s what I asked her as we sat together at dinner.

Rhonda was quiet a long time. She looked off,
contemplating my question, searching within
herself for the answer. Finally, she spoke.

“I’m not sure,” she said.“The idea came to me,
for sure. But I did the work. I created it. So I’d
say I made it happen.”

Her answer was revealing. The idea came to her,
which means it came to her as an inspiration.
Since the movie is so powerful, so well done, and
so brilliantly marketed, I can only believe it’s all
the Divine unfolding.Yes, there was work to do,
and Rhonda did it. But the idea itself came as an
inspiration.

It’s interesting that after the movie had been out
for several months and the buzz for it was
reaching historic proportions, Rhonda sent out
an e-mail to all the stars in it, saying the movie
now had a life of its own. Rather than stating
intentions, she was answering calls and seizing
opportunities. A book was coming out. Larry King
was doing a two-part special based on the ideas
in the movie. An audio version was coming out.
Sequels were in the works.

When you come from the zero state where there
are zero limits, you don’t need intentions. You
simply receive and act.

And miracles happen.

You can stop the inspiration, however.

Rhonda could have said no to the nudge urging her to make the movie. That seems to be where free will comes into play. When the idea to do something appears in your mind—coming from either inspiration or memory—you can choose to act on it or not, if you are aware of the impulse.

According to Jeffrey Schwartz, in his powerful book, The Mind and the Brain, your conscious will—your power to choose—can veto the impulse that started in your unconscious. In other words, you may get the impulse to pick up this book, but
you can override that impulse if you want to do so.
That’s free will, or, as Schwartz describes it,“free won’t.”

He writes that “in later years he [Libet] embraced the notion that free will serves as a gatekeeper for thoughts bubbling up from the brain and did not duck the moral implications of that.”

William James, the legendary psychologist, felt that free will took place after the impulse to do something and before you actually did it. Again, you can say yes, or no, to it. It takes mindfulness to see the choice. What Dr. Hew Len was teaching me was by constantly cleaning all thoughts, whether inspiration or memory, I would be better able to choose what was right in that moment.

I began to see that my weight loss came about because I chose not to obey the memory or habit that was nudging me to eat more and exercise less. By choosing not to follow those additive impulses, I was kicking in my free will or free won’t ability. In other words, the urge to overeat was a memory, not an inspiration. It came from a program, not from the Divine. I was ignoring the
program or over-riding it.What I gathered Dr.
Hew Len would suggest as a better approach is
to love the program until it dissolved and all that
remained was Divinity.

I still didn’t quite understand all of this, but I was listening and choosing to not cancel anything out because it was new. Little did I know what was in store for me next.

Intuition or Guidance

There is nothing too great of accomplishment for the man who knows the power of his word, and who follows his intuitive leads. by the word he starts in action unseen forces and can rebuild his body or remold his affairs. It is, therefore, of the utmost importance, to choose the right words, and the student carefully selects the affirmation he wishes to catapult into the invisible.

He knows that God is his supply, that there is a supply for every demand, and that his spoken word releases this supply.

"Ask and ye shall receive."

Man must make the first move. "Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you."

I have often been asked just how to make a demonstration.

I reply: "Speak the word and then do not do anything until you get a definite lead." Demand the lead, saying, "Infinite spirit, reveal to me the way, let me know if there is anything for me to do."

The answer will come through intuition (or hunch); a chance remark from someone, or a passage in a book, etc., etc. The answers are sometimes quite startling in their exactness. For example: A woman desired a large sum of money. She spoke the words: "Infinite Spirit, open the way for my immediate supply, let all that is mine by divine right now reach me, in great avalanches of abundance." Then she added: "Give me a difinite lead, let me know if there is anything for me to do."

The thought came quickly, "Give a certain friend" (who had helped her spiritually) "a hundred dollars." She told her friend, who said, "Wait and get another lead, before giving it." So she waited, and that day met a woman who said to her, "I gave someone a dollar today; it was just as much for me, as it would be for you to give someone a hundred."

This was indeed an unmistakable lead, so she knew she was right in giving the hundred dollars. It was a gift which proved a great investment, for shortly after that, a large sum of money came to her in a remarkable way.

Giving opens the way for receiving. In order to create activity in finances, one should give. Tithing or giving one-tenth of one's income, is an old Jewish custom, and is sure to bring increase. Many of the richest men in this country have been tithers, and I have never known it to fail as an investment.

The tenth-part goes forth and returns blessed and multiplied. But the gift or tithe must be given with love and cheerfulness, for "God loveth a cheerful giver." Bills should be paid cheerfully, all money should be sent forth fearlessly and with a blessing.

This attitude of mind makes man master of money. It is his to obey, and his spoken word then opens vast reservoirs of wealth.

Man, himself, limits his supply by his limited vision. Sometimes the student has a great realization of wealth, but is afraid to act.

The vision and action must go hand in hand, as in the case of the man who bought the fur-lined overcoat.

A woman came to me asking me to "speak the word" for a position. So I demanded: "Infinite Spirit, open the way for this woman's right position." Never ask for just "a position"; ask for the right position, the place already planned in Divine Mind, as it is the only one that will give satisfaction.

I then gave thanks that she had already received, and that it would manifest quickly. Very soon, she had three positions offered her, two in New York and one in Palm Beach, and she did not know which to choose. I said, "Ask for a definite lead."

The time was almost up and was still undecided, when one day, she telephoned, "When I woke up this morning, I could smell Palm Beach." She had been there before and knew its balmy fragrance.

I replied: "Well, if you can smell Palm Beach from here, it is certainly your lead." She accepted the position, and it proved a great success. Often one's lead comes at an unexpected time.

One day, I was walking down the street, when I suddenly felt a strong urge to go to a certain bakery, a block or two away.

The reasoning mind resisted, arguing, "There is nothing there that you want."

However, I had learned not to reason, so I went to the bakery, looked at everything, and there was certainly nothing there that I wanted, but coming out I encountered a woman I had thought of often, and who was in great need of the help which I could give her.

So often, one goes for one thing and finds another.

Intuition is a spiritual faculty and does not explain, but simply points the way.

A person often receives a lead during a "treatment." The idea that comes may seem quite irrelevant, but some of God's leadings are "mysterious."

In the class, one day, I was treating that each individual would receive a definite lead. A woman came to me afterwards, and said: "While you were treating, I got the hunch to take my furniture out of storage and get an apartment." The woman had come to be treated for health. I told her I knew in getting a home of her own, her health would improve, and I added, "I believe your trouble, which is a congestion, has come from having things stored away. Congestion of things causes congestion in the body. You have violated the law of use, and your body is paying the penalty."

So I gave thanks that "Divine order was established in her mind, body and affairs."

People little dream of how their affairs react on the body. There is a mental correspondence for every disease. A person might receive instantaneous healing through the realization of his body being a perfect idea in Divine Mind, and, therefore, whole and perfect, but if he continues his destructive thinking, hoarding, hating, fearing, condemning, the disease will return.

Jesus Christ knew that all sickness came from sin, but admonished the leper after the healing, to go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon him.

So man's soul (or subconscious mind) must be washed whiter than snow, for permanent healing; and the metaphysician is always delving deep for the "correspondence."

Jesus Christ said, "Condemn not lest ye also be condemned."

"Judge not, lest ye be judged."

Many people have attracted disease and unhappiness through condemnation of others.

What man condemns in others, he attracts to himself.

For example: A friend came to me in anger and distress, because her husband had deserted her for another woman. She condemned the other woman, and said continually, "She knew he was a married man, and had no right to accept his attentions."

I replied: "Stop condemning the woman, bless her, and be through with the situation, otherwise, you are attracting the same thing to yourself."

She was deaf to my words, and a year or two later, became deeply interested in a married man, herself.

Man picks up a live-wire whenever he criticises or condemns, and may expect a shock.

Indecision is a stumbling-block in many a pathway. In order to overcome it, make the statement repeatedly, "I am always under direct inspiration; I make right decisions, quickly."

These words impress the subconscious, and soon one finds himself awake and alert, making his right moves without hesitation. I have found it destructive to look to the psychic plane for guidance, as it is the plane of many minds and not the "The One Mind."

As man opens his mind to subjectivity, he becomes a target for destructive forces. The psychic plane is the result of man's mortal thought, and is on the "plane of opposites." He may receive either good or bad messages.

The science of numbers and the reading of horoscopes, keep man down on the mental (or mortal) plane, for they deal only with the Karmic path.

I know of a man who should have been dead, years ago, according to his horoscope, but he is alive and a leader of one of the biggest movements in this country for the uplift of humanity.

It takes a very strong mind to neutralize a prophecy of evil. The student should declare, "Every false prophecy shall come to naught; every plan my Father in heaven has not planned, shall be dissolved and dissipated, the divine idea now comes to pass."

However, if any good message has ever been given one, of coming happiness, or wealth, harbor and expect it, and it will manifest sooner or later, through the law of expectancy.

Man's will should be used to back the universal will. "I will that the will of God be done."

It is God's will to give every man, every righteous desire of his heart, and man's will should be used to hold the perfect vision, without wavering.

The prodigal son said: "I will arise and go to my Father."

It is indeed, often an effort of the will to leave the husks and swine of mortal thinking. It is so much easier, for the average person, to have fear than faith; so faith is an effort of the will.

As man becomes spiritually awakened he recognizes that any external in-harmony is the correspondence of mental in-harmony. If he stumbles or falls, he may know he is stumbling or falling in consciousness.

One day, a student was walking along the street condemning someone in her thoughts. She was saying mentally, "That woman is the most disagreeable woman on earth," when suddenly three boy scouts rushed around the corner and almost knocked her over. She did not condemn the boy scouts, but immediately called on the law of forgiveness, and "saluted the divinity" in the woman. Wisdom's way are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace.

When one has made his demands upon the Universal, he must be ready for surprises. Everything may seem to be going wrong, when in reality, it is going right.

For example: A woman was told that there was no loss in divine mind, therefore, she could not lose anything which belonged to her; anything lost, would be returned, or she would receive its equivalent.

Several years previously, she had lost two thousand dollars. She had loaned the money to a relative during her lifetime, but the relative had died, leaving no mention of it in her will. The woman was resentful and angry, and as she had no written statement of the transaction, she never received the money, so she determined to deny the loss, and collect the two thousand dollars from the Bank of the Universal. She had to begin by forgiving the woman, as resentment and unforgiveness close the doors of this wonderful bank.

She made this statement, "I deny loss, there is no loss in Divine Mind, therefore, I cannot lose the two thousand dollars, which belong to me by divine right. "As one door shuts another door opens."

She was living in an apartment house which was for sale; and in the lease was a clause, stating that if the house was sold, the tenants would be required to move out within ninety days.

Suddenly, the landlord broke the leases and raised the rent. Again, injustice was on her pathway, but this time she was undisturbed. She blessed the landlord, and said, "As the rent has been raised, it means that I'll be that much richer, for God is my supply."

New leases were made out for the advanced rent, but by some divine mistake, the ninety days clause had been forgotten. Soon after, the landlord had an opportunity to sell the house. On account of the mistake in the new leases, the tenants held possession for another year.

The agent offered each tenant two hundred dollars if he would vacate. Several families moved; three remained, including the woman. A month or two passed, and the agent again appeared. This time he said to the woman, "Will you break your lease for the sum of fifteen hundred dollars?" It flashed upon her, "Here comes the two thousand dollars." She remembered having said to friends in the house, "We will all act together if anything more is said about leaving." So her lead was to consult her friends.

These friends said," Well, if they have offered you fifteen hundred they will certainly give two thousand." So she received a check for two thousand dollars for giving up the apartment. It was certainly a remarkable working of the law, and the apparent injustice was merely opening the way for her demonstration.

It proved that there is no loss, and when man takes his spiritual stand, he collects all that is his from this great Reservoir of Good.

"I will restore to you the years the locusts have eaten."

These adverse thoughts, alone, rob man; for "No man gives to himself but himself, and no man takes away from himself, but himself."

Man is here to prove God and "to bear witness to the truth," and he can only prove God by bringing plenty out of lack, and justice out of justice.

"Prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

What Did I Learn?

While I have provided the leadership, the Soongworld successes are everybody's achievements. What experiences have I taken with me? We are a GROUP that evolves by the sheer determination and inspirations of our people. We take pride in our People-to-People business worldwide. Every one of you played your role and performed well. Kudos.
From the bottom of my lovely heart , I wish to say it has been a privilege working and sharing with you.

What did I learn? Since 2008? I am sure more things and breakthroughs will occur to me at some point, but here are a few things.

1.  You have to balance the idea that nothing really changes with the notion that everything is changing fast - especially the ever-evolving Internet of everything, the biggest change to hit the global economy.  Remember this : What was right before may not be right moving forwards as circumstances might have changed.

2.  Leading from the front is very important.  In moments of calm , good processes and systems can keep things going but in challenging times, leadership becomes even more critical.  I learn from experience that in times of challenge, my partners expect me to lead with vision, direction and by personal example.

3.  It is better to have tried and fail than not try at all.  Most important is to pick oneself up fast, learn, unlearn, and relearn the lessons and continue to pursue the goal.  Remember that when you make a mistake, don't look back at it for too long. Mistakes are lessons and stepping stones of wisdom, the past cannot be changed and the future is yet in your power. The lessons you gain out of a failure is tremendous but do not repeat them.

4.  Continuous learning is a good way to stay ahead of the competition in commercial business world. As you learn and read more widely and deeply, you will realise how little you know - as the world moves on at a much faster pace than ever before, we are constantly playing catch up. hence, therein lies the importance and significance of life-long learning, unlearning and relearning. Read widely, attend classes, go for enrichment programmes, treasure networking and leverage the strengths of others in your team, friendship and families.

Your short term and long term success depends on you own attitude, your curiosity, your explorations, your willingness and humbleness to work and your personal innovation and your own inspirations. That is what will make or break you, not your degree or MBA, or PhD. Must love to learn new thing everyday.

5.  My basic principle is that "approximately right is good enough." You adjust as you go along. You cannot wait for all information to be available to you before making a decision. In a fast pace environment, you will miss the boat. Just say yes first, and learn along the way, anything new.  So decide well, move on and then adjust as you go along. Don't stick to your guns*.( *to continue to have your own beliefs or continue with a plan of action, even if other people disagree with you)

6.  Many of you heard this saying "I do not insult people with low targets". The key is that people can do better than they think they can, hence, it is important to stretch and believe in them. When you set high but achieve targets, people would have done well even if they do not meet those targets perfectly.

7.  One must have humour in life - in the workplace and at home. Humour is a good stress reliever ; it livens up your spirit ; it livens up your day. Don't take yourself too seriously in life. Don't take humour for granted. It helps to ease tension and is a good ice breaker. "Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings." Guess who said it?

8.  Give back to society.  Today you are enjoying the fruits of labour of the previous generations - the schools, the infrastructure, the transport systems, the housing and the safe environment in which you live. All of us must take full responsibility and need to give back to the society that has given us so much. I gave and still giving time as Healthy Wealth blogger. And I am currently the Chairman and CEO of the Soongworld global business. I do these as a service to build up World's educational standards, create self-employment and better opportunities and develop the world's skills. These are just two examples. All of us give back to society in our own ways.

9.  Lastly but certainly not the least, remember that not everything that comes in our life can be counted. Life is not just about your career success. Life is also about the people around you. Success alone cannot bring or give you real happiness. Allow your family and friends to share your success. Give back to them what you can, in terms of time, friendship and care.

Give your best. Do good to people. Don't take yourself too seriously.

I appreciate all readers and friends, and more importantly for your support and friendship.
Thank you,
Love you,

With Peace of I
Soong See Choo

Chapter Nine : Sharing My Vision

Sharing My Vision

Soongworld  : Mind - Body - Spirit Unity With Nature

I have ... inherited a spiritual nature, which has affected how I view life. My search and quest to become a humanitarian physician began with a spiritual influence, which has always kept  me on the path towards achieving my goals. It is with this introduction that I now explain and share my vision of following a mind-body-spirit life to achieve a healthier, longer and fuller life.

The name that I created to represent my vision of the mind-body-spirit experience in helping others enjoy a healthier , fuller and longer life is Soongworld. This term is a combination of two words, Soong* and World. (*SONG   宋     ChineseKorean From Chinese  (sòng) referring to the Song dynasty, which ruled China from 960 to 1279. http://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?surname=song

Soong Family History

I learn the values of Soongworld : diligence, courage, generosity, excellence, fairness, integrity, loyalty, orderliness, perseverance, respect, self-discipline, sincerity, teamwork, not as a practitioner of a religion, but as a benefactor of what this philosophy offered.
This philosophy means, "To live in harmony with a new heart with all mankind as ONE WITH NATURE WORLD." It is humanitarian in concept, but incorporates the spiritual domain. It teaches praise and gratitude for all we are called to do , and recognizes nature as a major force and energy in determining our destinies. Knowledge passed down from centuries of its history has provided important guidelines for many, ancient healing arts, which are popular today. This knowledge was the inspiration for my vision of mind-body-spirit unity.

World inside Soongworld is an ideal state. It is also the optimal state of health and well-being. Soongworld seemed like the best way I know to express this concept.

To accept the concept of Soongworld and benefit from what it offers, it is necessary to understand and believe that :

1. There is no single cause for each illness. Disease, like health, is the result of a combination of factors : mind, body, spirit , environment and life choices.

2. There is more than one way for the human body to heal itself. No single approach, practice or treatment can do it all.

3. Healing is not exclusive to medical treatments or pharmaceuticals.  With the right approach to using the healing power of mind-body-spirit, in unity with the gifts of nature , health can be restored and maintained.

4. We as responsible beings must take full responsibility, without exception, for our own continuous state of health and well-being.

Inherent is Soongworld are the natural principles and practices of the ancient attitudes, healing philosophies and healing arts, which have been lost and relinquished to modern medicine. On the other hand, my strong background and training in Soongworld required that I incorporate sound, scientific principles into the development of this vision. The result in bringing humankind and nature together as partners in realizing this vision to help people everywhere and future generations enjoy a healthier, fuller and longer life, harmoniously.

Soongworld's philosophy embraces the universal, natural law of cause and effect.  It holds that humans have a full responsibility to live with respect for nature and live in communion with all of our earth's natural forces and resources.  As we honour and respect ourselves, as we nurture our environment, our gratitude can create real good actions to ensure that the energy of life will create harmony for all life forms.

The rewards of accepting this philosophy are achieved through dedication to serve  Self I-Dentity and Humankind.  Keeping the unity of mind-body-spirit in balance allows us to focus on striving to maintain this same harmony with nature. I want to share this attitude and commitment with others to offer them the same opportunity to experience the benefits of this Soongworld vision.

Zero Limits 6 Basic Principles :

The Peace for always, now and forever and evermore.

Principle #1 . You don't have a clue what is going on.
It is impossible to be aware of everything happening in and around you, consciously or unconsciously. Your body and mind are regulating themselves right now, without you being aware of it. And numerous invisible signals are in the air around  you, from radio waves to thought forms, which you have no conscious sense of at all. You are indeed co-creating your own reality right now ; but it is happening unconsciously , without your conscious  knowledge or control. This is why you can think positive thoughts all you like ans still be broke. Your conscious mind is NOT the creator.

Principle #2 . You don't  have control over everything.
Obviously, if you don't know everything that is happening, you can't control it all.  It's an ego trip to think you can  make the world do your bidding. Since your ego can't see much of what is going on in the world right now, letting your ego decide what is best for you isn't wise. You have choice, but you don't  have control.  You can use your conscious mind to begin to choose what you would prefer to experience, but you have to let go of whatever you manifest it or not, or how, or when. Surrender is key.

Principle #3. You can heal whatever comes your way.

Principle #4, You are 100 percent responsible for all you experience.

Principle #5. Your ticket to zero limits is saying the  phrase "I love you."

Principle #6. Inspiration is more important than intention.
