 After the death of Xu Xian's wife, Lao Ge (played by Xu Huanshan) was in an embarrassment at the home of his non-blood related children, and his relationship with his son (played by Han Tongsheng) has not been loosened.  In desperation, Lao Ge went to the Guanshan Nursing Home, looking for a good friend Lao Zhou (played by Wu Tianming) who was in the same unit.  Lao Zhou is enthusiastic and cheerful, and organizes the old people here to participate in various cultural and sports activities on weekdays.  In order to realize the final value of their lives, these old friends decided to rehearse the show and go to Tianjin to participate in the competition.  However, aging and disease prevented the dean (played by Yan Bingyan) from making up her mind to give the green light, and the accident prompted her to ban Lao Zhou and their performance. 　　 Even so, the old people never give up.  They decided to sneak out of the nursing home, looking for the pure happiness and meaning in life.
