This Secret Signal Could Help the victim.

The signal involves holding your fingers straight with your thumb tucked into your palm, and then folding your fingers and trapping your thumb in your fingers to form a fist.
The “signal for help” is a one-handed gesture that can be done silently to show that you need help. All you do is raise one hand, palm facing the camera, tuck in your thumb, and then wrap your fingers around your thumb to make a raised fist. If you’re facing domestic violence at home, this might help keep you safe. And if you see anyone else giving the signal, you can help get them to safety. But first, the message needs to be spread.
If someone is in immediate danger, from domestic violence or anything else, you should call 911 or your local police right away.
A lot of people can be hard complaining about being in a state of quarantine. That they are bored, there is nothing to do, and if they have to see their partner one more time they may just lose it. However, we fail to see the bigger picture. There are victims of domestic violence out there who are now stuck with their abuser.
They no longer have the moments when their spouse goes to work or leaves. They no longer have those times of calm when they are not with their partner. They are trapped 24/7 in this terrifying situation. If you add in the fact that this situation is enough to alter anyone’s mental health, it can be incredibly dangerous. It is very hard to reach out for help in these times.
