THE POWER OF FEELINGS (the Secret)

THE POWER OF FEELINGS

Feeling is the secret.

I am a Feeling Being

From  the moment I am born, I am always feeling something, and so is every other person. I can stop my conscious thoughts when I'm sleeping, but I can never stop feeling, because to be alive is to feel life.  I am a feeling "being" to the core of I , and so it's no accident that every part of my human body is created so I can feel life!

I have the sense of sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch, so that I can feel everything in life.  They are "feeling" senses, because they enable me to feel what I see, feel what I hear, feel what I taste, feel what I smell and touch.  My entire body is covered with a fine layer of skin, which is a feeling organ, my largest organ, so I can feel everything.

How I feel in any one moment is more important than anything else, because how i feel right now is creating my life.

My Feelings Are The Fuel

My thoughts and words have no power at all in my life without my feelings.  I think so many thoughts in a day that don't amount to anything because many of my thoughts don't elicit a strong feeling within me. It's what I feel that matters!

Imagine my thoughts and words as being like a rocket ship , and my feelings as the fuel. A rocket ship is a stationary vehicle that can't do anything without fuel, because the fuel is the power that lifts the rocket ship. It's the same with my thoughts and words. My thoughts and words are vehicles that can't do anything without my feelings, because my feelings are the power of my thoughts and words!

If I think, " I can't stand my boss, " that thought is expressing a strong negative feeling I have about my boss, and I am giving out that negative feeling. As a consequence, my relationship with my boss will continue to get worse.

If I think, " I work with some fabulous people in my job, " these words are expressing the positive feeling I have about the people I work with and I am giving out that positive feeling. As a consequence, my relationships with my work colleagues will continue to get better.

The emotions must be called upon to give feeling to the thought so it will take form.

Good and Bad Feelings

Like everything else in life, my feelings can be either positive or negative, I   have good feelings or bad feelings.  And good feelings come from love! And all negative feelings come from a lack of love. The better I feel, like when I feel joyful, the more love I give out. And the more love I give, the more I receive

The worse I feel, like when I feel despair, the more negativity I give out.  And the more negativity I give, the more negativity I receive back in life. The reason I feel so bad with negative feelings is because love is the positive force of life, and negative feelings don't have much love in them!

The better I feel, the better life gets.

The worse I feel, the worse life gets - until I change how I feel.

love gratitude joy passion excitement enthusiasm hope satisfaction

When i feel good, my thoughts are automatically good too. i cannot feel good and have negative thoughts at the same time! Like wise it 's impossible for me to feel bad and have good thoughts at the same time.

boredom irritation disappointment worry criticism anger hate envy guilt despair fear

How I feel in an exact reflection, a precise measure to the finest degree, of what I am giving out in any moment. When I feel good, I don't have to be concerned about anything else because my thoughts, words, and actions will be good. Simply by feeling good I am guaranteed to be giving love, and all of that love must come back to me!

POINTS OF POWER (THE SECRET)

1. Love is not weak , feeble, or soft.  Love is the positive force of life! Love is the cause of everything positive and good.

2. Everything I want to be, do, or have comes from love.

3. The positive force of love can create anything good, increase the good things, and change anything negative in my life.

4. Every day, in every moment, I make the choice whether to love and harness the positive force - or not.

5. The law of attraction is the law of love, and it is the law that is operating in my life.

6. Whatever I give out in life is what I receive back in life. Give positivity, I receive back positivity ; give negativity I receive back negativity.

7. Life doesn't happen to me ; I receive everything in my life based on what I've given.

8. Whether my thoughts and feelings are good or bad, they return as automatically and precisely as an echo.

9. People who have great lives think and talk about what they love more than what they don't love!

10. Talk about the good news of the day. Talk about what I love.  And bring what I love to me.

11. I have an unlimited ability to think and talk about what I love, and so I have an unlimited ability to bring everything good in life to me!

12. Love, because when I love I am using the greatest power in the universe.

Positive and Negative Thoughts ( The Secret )

My thoughts are both the words I hear in my head and the words i speak out loud.  When I say to somebody, " What a beautiful day, " I had the thought first and then spoke the words.  My thoughts also become my actions  When I get out of bed in the morning, I had the thoughts of getting out of bed before I took action. I can't take any action without thinking the thought first.

It's my thoughts that determine whether my words and actions will be positive or negative.  But how do i know whether my Thoughts are positive or negative?  My thoughts are positive when they are thoughts of what I want and love! And negative thoughts are thoughts of what I don't want and don't love . It is that simple and that easy.

Whatever I want in my life, I want it because I love it. Take a moment and think about it. I don't want things I don't love, do I ?  Every person only wants what they love, nobody wants what they don't love.

When I think or talk about the things I want and love , such, as " I love those shoes, they're beautiful, " my thoughts are positive, and those positive thoughts will come back to me as the things I love -- beautiful shoes. When  I think or talk about the things I don't want and don't love, such as "Look at the price of those shoes, that's highway robbery," my thoughts are negative, and those negative thoughts will come back to me as the things I don't love -- things that are too expensive for me.

Most people think and talk about what they don't love more that they think and talk about what they love. They give out more negativity than love, and i doing so they are inadvertently depriving themselves of all the good things in life.

It's impossible to have a great life without love. people who have great lives think and talk about what they love more than what they don't love! And people who are struggling  think and talk about what they don't love more that what they do  love!

One word frees us of all the weight and pain  of life. That word is love.

Talk About What I Love

When I talk about any difficulties with money, a relationship, an illness, or even that the profits of my business are down, I am not talking about what I love. When I talk about a bad event i the news, or a person or situation that annoyed or frustrated I, I am not talking about what I love. Talking about the bad day I had, being late for an appointment, getting caught in traffic jam, or missing the bus are all talking about what I don't love.  There are many little things that happen each day; if I get caught up in talking about what I don't love, every one of those little things brings more struggle and difficult to my life.

I have to talk about the good news of the day. Talk about the appointment that went well. Talk about how I love being on time. Talk about how good it is to be full of health.  Talk about the profits I want my business to achieve. Talk about the situations and  interactions I had in my day that went well. I have to talk about what I love, to bring what I love to me.

If I parrot negative things and squawk about the things I don't love, I am literally jailing myself, like a parrot in a cage.  Every time I talk about what I don't love, I am adding another bar to the cage and I am locking myself away from all the good.

People who have great lives talk more about what they love. By doing so, they gain unlimited access to all the good in life, and they are as free as the birds that soar in the sky.  To have a great life, break the bars of the cage that is jailing me; give love, talk only about what I love, and love will set me free!

Then I will know the truth and the truth will set me free.

Nothing is impossible for the force of love. No matter who I am, no matter what situation I may be facing, the force of love can set me free.

I know of a woman who through love alone broke the bars that caged her. She had been  left in poverty and faced with bringing up her children by herself after 20 years of an abusive marriage. despite the extreme hardship she faced, this woman never allowed resentment, anger, or any ill feeling to take root inside er.  She never talked negatively about her ex-husband but instead gave only positive thoughts and words about her dream of a new perfect, beautiful husband, and her dream of traveling to Europe.  Even though she had no money to travel, she applied for and got a passport and brought small items she would need on her dream trip to Europe.

Well, she did meet her perfect and beautiful new husband.  And after marrying , they moved to her husband's home in Spain overlooking the ocean, where she now lives in happiness.

This woman refused to talk about what she didn't love but instead chose to give love and think and talk about what she loved, and in doing so, she set herself free from hardship and suffering and received a beautiful life.

Recite slowly and meditate while saying " I'm sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you, I love you," again and again, until clarity be felt.

I can change my life, because I have an unlimited ability to think and talk about what I love, and so I have an unlimited ability to bring everything good in life to me !  However, the power I have is far greater than giving positive thoughts and words of the things I love, because the law of attraction is responding to my thoughts and my feelings. I have to feel love to harness its power !

Love is the fulfilling of the law.

SPIRITUAL POWER OF WATER

Water and spirituality seem to go hand in hand. Many religions and spiritual practices include the use of water. Even being near a river, lake or ocean seems to invoke a spiritual experience, soothing the body, mind and soul.

Water is an extremely powerful element that has the potential to heal on many levels, particularly spiritual and emotional. What’s so special about water and its role in transformation?

WATER AND SPIRITUAL PRACTICE

Since ancient times water has represented many spiritual ideas. The biblical story of Noah and the great flood shows water as a powerful destroyer, cleansing the Earth of the evil and disobedient. Water is also portrayed as a great giver of life in many beliefs and is considered sacred.
Water is an extremely powerful element that has the potential to heal on many levels, particularly spiritual and emotional.
The Ganges River in India for example is deemed sacred to Hindus. Many Hindu pilgrims bathe in the river to wash away sins and the faithful often spread ashes of the departed into the river, helping them reach nirvana. Christians rely on the spiritually healing waters of baptism for redemption, cleansing, renewal and rebirth of the soul. Catholics employ the use of holy water for blessing themselves and their homes.

WATER AND EMOTIONS

Water and emotions also have a unique and interesting relationship. Many people enjoy spending time either near or on the water. It can be relaxing, invigorating and soothing all at the same time. Have you ever noticed how spending time in a pool or even a nice bath can change your attitude? Even a morning shower can wake you up help you feel alert. Water can also relieve stressful emotions. Consider how a fountain can impart feelings of tranquility in a room.

Not only does water influence our emotions, our emotions also have an effect on water. According to studies conducted by Dr. Masaru Emoto a Japanese scientist, our thoughts and emotions can influence water’s molecular structure.

He analyzed water crystals exposed to thoughts and feelings of love and positive emotions and found them to have beautiful snowflake like structures. In contrast, water crystals influenced by negative thoughts and emotions appeared to have jagged, misshapen and ugly looking shapes.

USING WATER FOR SPIRITUALITY AND HEALING

Now that we understand some of the spiritual aspects of water, how can we use it to help us? Water can be used in a spiritually healing way for body, mind and soul. Here are some ideas to consider in bringing the spiritual power of water into your life.
Use water to help cleanse your aura. When showering or bathing, consciously think about cleansing your aura as you cleanse your body. As you feel the water on your skin, visualize the water vapor moving through the layers of your aura removing any debris or negative energy.

Feel your body an aura’s energy become cleaner, clearer and brighter as the water moves over you. Finally, as the water drains down the tub, give thanks for the cleansing and let the physical and psychic dirt be recycled by Mother Earth. This is a different way of experiencing “cleanliness is next to godliness.”

Use water to lift your spirits. Go out and play in the water in a way that has meaning for you. Whether you go swimming, do water sports, or sit on the beach enjoy the gift of water and be grateful for the pleasure it provides. The same holds true for placing a table top fountain in your home. Even a simple jar of soap and water bubbles can bring feelings of joy.

Use water consciously when drinking it. In conjunction with Dr. Emoto’s discoveries, try infusing your drinking water with love and positive emotions. You can hold your hands around or over a glass of water and think thoughts of gratitude, joy, love and happiness before consuming. Some metaphysical experts also recommend writing these words on your water bottle to infuse it with those vibrations. Experiment and see what works for you.

Water has some powerful properties that go beyond the physical. It really is a sacred gift that we can use in many ways. Hopefully this has inspired you to think about water in a whole new way!

THE THIRD DIMENSION

The Third Dimension - Physical Reality of the Conscious Being
The Third Dimension is where energy congeals into a dark, dense pool of matter. This is the plane of thought or mind. The densest stratum of this plane contains our own more worldly and material thoughts.

Because of our Planetary coding/consciousness we are able to identify with matter and therefore become dense ourselves. The Universe allows the illusion of Free-Will on the Third and Fourth Dimensions which gives us the experience of acting like saints or demons or somewhere in between... by choice.

Beings believing that the Third is the only Dimension suffer from the illusion of separation from their Spirit. The physical senses cannot detect Spirit which is beyond form. If we are not One with Spirit then we cannot be at one with others. This Dimension of Thought has the ability to interpenetrate all of life, like a sort of etheric river of water. It is not confined to the brain, which actually acts more like a kind of telephone switching station to all the thoughts that pass through it. Our ability to experience beauty while in such density, shows that we live in a loving Universe.

That is why if we can contact the higher strata of the mind-world by training the corresponding parts of our brain, as all seekers have attempted to do, we shall gain inconceivable knowledge.

The practice of Remote Viewing attempts to tap into this holographic practice. Humans possess a body made up of the material of the Physical Plane world...a body containing chemicals in liquid, solid and gaseous states. This body is interpenetrated by another body, which is its counterpart, known as the Etheric Body. It constitutes a fine web through which the Electromagnetic Life-forces are fed into the physical body from the outer Universe.

The combination of these two bodies contain the conscious knowledge of all 12 Dimensions... The Sacred Hologram

THE MATERIAL WORLD(The Third Dimension).

THE MATERIAL WORLD
Is the dominant Mode in which Humanity
And other species Live and Operate
The motivating or driving Forces in this World
Are called "Instincts"
Most beings on the planet Today base their Actions
Predominantly on information they Receive
From their survival, sexual, hierarchical, and territorial Instincts
Acting on these instructions makes statements to the Universe
About what is Real to the Actor

For the most part... these pictures of Reality
Stem from information that is Encoded
In the DNA of the Physical Body
These Physical-Body Pictures of Reality May Imply:

I am Mortal
I need a Mate
I need Personal Power to rule Others
I need to own certain Things
I need another person to make me Happy
I need Control of my Space

The Mental body... too... generates pictures of Reality
It creates pictures that say things Like
"I must figure it all Out"
"I need to be Right"
"It's okay to lie if I have a good enough Reason"
"I am better than they Are"
"She's going to say this... and then I'll say that...."
For various reasons... Western Civilization
Has elevated the Mental Body
To a Male God-like Status

There are several methodologies which contend that by controlling the mental body, negative experiences can be transcended, and that we can even obtain enlightenmentand Nirvana.

The rationale goes:

"I create my own reality with my thoughts. Therefore, if I eliminate negative thoughts and only think positive ones, then my life will change for the better."

This implies that negative thoughts are the source of one's negative experiences, and the work then becomes to eradicate them.

You become your own thought Police
And... since Whatever you're fascinated With
...You get more Of...
Then being fascinated with negative Thoughts
Just brings more of them!

Plus... there is another aspect to Consider
The Universe rearranges itself to Accommodate
Your picture of Reality
The "think-only-positive- thoughts" Strategy
Assumes that the Mental body is the sole Composer
Of one's picture of reality - but it is Not
The Physical Body has its own Views and Convictions
Of What is Real
As does the Emotional Body
As well as the Spiritual Body...the I AM

Here is a simple story to illustrate This...

There was a mighty lion, Janro, who was born in a small zoo. As she grew, she made it a point to investigate, as best as she could, all of the aspects of the world around her. All of the other lions in this zoo had been born in captivity, as well. Their cages were indoors.

One day, another lion was added to the group, but she was captured in the wild. When she spoke of the vast savannas, the tall, spreading trees, the birds in the sky, and the other wonders she knew of, Janro and the others scoffed. "How could this be!" they would exclaim.

We've had plenty of time to investigate this world. We know precisely the limits of our cages, what other kinds of animals there are, where we came from, and how we get fed. "What you are telling us is preposterous! Prove it!"

Beings who are exploring the Material World
And taking a Stand for its Validity
Suffer from the Illusion of Separation
From their Spirit

This should be obvious - the Physical Senses cannot detect Spirit, which is beyond form. Consequently, if we are not at one with our Spirit, then we cannot be at one with others, because Oneness is an attribute of the spiritual body. They believe they must fight and struggle to exist, courtesy of the animal instincts. They perceive enemies.

Their actions are a series of strategies being played out. They fear lack and condemnation, both which lurk in the background of their consciousness like hungry cheetahs. They need outside authorities to tell them how to reach God/dess and to tell them what is real.

Today... Scientists are the Priests of What's Real...
When we find ourselves acting out and identifying with any of these pictures of reality and agreeing that they are real, you may say with confidence... "I am Living in a Material World."

Other experiences of this Domain are:
  • Being caught up in a stream of Thought
  • Planning sexual Strategies
  • Mentally rehearsing what you're going to say when you confront Someone (which you never end up saying, anyway, when the time comes)
  • Being Sarcastic
  • Being Obnoxious
  • Being Critical
  • Physically or verbally attacking Someone
  • Proving you're right...or the other Wrong
  • Defending or claiming your Space
The way that we Perceive and Define Ourselves
Implies which World we are living In
A few Identities that take a Stand
For the validity of The Material World are:
"I am A:..."
  • hard worker
  • smart person
  • honest person
  • business person, (or, name a profession)
  • parent/spouse/child
  • awesome/inadequate lover
  • responsible person
  • funny person
  • student/teacher
  • clever/shrewd
There is nothing wrong with these identities or with exploring the Material World; we all do it to some degree or another; let's face it -we're all in human forms.

It's an option that our Spirits
Have chosen to Explore, for whatever reason.
The important Point
Is not what we are Exploring
But the Position that our Consciousness is In
With Relation to the Action

Who was Florence Scovel Shinn? (FORGIVENESS)

Florence Scovel Shinn (1871-1940)

Florence Scovel Shinn was a woman ahead of her
time. To many, she is considered to be among the
likes of James Allen, the author of “As a Man
Thinketh”, Wallace D.Wattles, the author of “The
Science of Getting Rich” and Napoleon Hill who
wrote the classic “Think and Grow Rich”.

Miss Shinn was an artist, an author and a meta-
physics teacher in New York in the early part of
the 20th century. Her books are remarkable and
revolutionary in her times. They are profound,
full of wisdom and have inspired thousands of
people for several decades.

She was an outstanding proponent of the power of
thoughts.

She taught that life is a game and in order to play
it well, one must learn to understand the universal
laws that govern it. She showed her students and
readers how to win health, prosperity and happi-
ness by mastering the game. By sharing real-life
stories, she illustrates how positive attitudes and
affirmations invariably succeed in making one
a winner in life - able to control life’s conditions
and release abundance through knowledge of
spiritual law.

Florence Scovel Shinn had the ability to explain
her success principles and how they work in an
entertaining and easy-to-read style. She can be
considered one of last century’s most popular
success teachers.

Florence Scovel Shinn was born on September 24,
1871, in Camden, New Jersey to Alden Cortlandt
Scovel and Emily Hopkinson. She had an older
sister and a younger brother.

Florence was educated at Friends Central School in
Philadelphia. She later studied art at the
Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts from 1889 to
1897. While there, she met Everett Shinn, a painter
of impressionistic canvases and realistic murals.
They married shortly after Florence graduated from
the art academy.

The Shinns moved to New York where both
pursued their separate careers, Everett in the theatre
while Florence did illustrations for children’s
literature in magazines and books.

In 1925, Florence decided to publish her first book
The Game of Life and How to Play It”. After
unsuccessfully finding a publisher for her work,
she published it herself.
Her second book,Your Word is Your Wand”
followed in 1928 and her final book “The Secret
Door to Success” was published in 1940 shortly
before her death on October 17, 1940.
A fourth book,The Power of the Spoken Word
is a compendium of her notes, gathered by one
of her students and published posthumously in 1945.

FORGIVENESS

———

AFFIRMATIONS

I forgive everyone and everyone forgives me. The gates swing open for my good.

———

I call on the law of forgiveness. I am free from mistakes and the consequences of mistakes. I am under grace and not under karmic law.

———

Though my mistakes be as scarlet, I shall be washed whiter than snow.

———

What didn’t happen in the Kingdom never happened anywhere.

MARRIAGE

Unless marriage is built upon the rock of oneness it cannot stand; “Two souls with but a single thought, two hearts that beat as one.”

The poet understood this, for unless man and wife are living the same thoughts (or living in the same thought world), they must inevitably drift apart.

Thought is a tremendous vibratory force and man is drawn to his thought creations.

For example: A man and woman married and were apparently happy. The man became successful and his tastes improved, but the wife still lived in a limited consciousness.

Whenever the man bought anything he went to the best shops and selected what he needed regardless of price.

Whenever the wife went out she haunted the Five and Ten Cent Stores.

He was living (in thought), on Fifth Avenue and her thought world was on Third Avenue.

Eventually the break and separation came.

We see this so often in the cases of rich and successful men who desert their faithful, hardworking wives later in life.

The wife must keep pace with her husband’s taste and ambitions and live in his thought world, for where a man thinketh in his heart there is he.

There is for each person his “other half’ or divine selection.

These two are one in their thought worlds. These are the two “whom God has joined together and no man shall (or can) part asunder.” “The twain shall be made one,” for in the superconscious mind of each is the same Divine Plan.

AFFIRMATION

I give thanks that the marriage made in heaven is now made manifest upon earth.

“The twain shall be made one” now and for all eternity.

YOUR BIG OPPORTUNITY

You have only one judge—your word. Jesus Christ said; "I say unto you that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment, for by thy word thou shalt be justified, and by thy word thou shalt be condemned."

Every day is a day of Judgment. We used to be taught that it would be at the end of the world. Look back in your life and see how you have attracted either happiness or disaster through your words. The subconscious has no sense of humor. People joke destructively about themselves and the subconscious takes it seriously. It is because the mental picture you make while speaking impresses the subconscious and works out on the external. A person who knows the power of the word becomes very careful of his conversation. He has only to watch the reaction of his words to know they do not return void. People make their worst mistakes by speaking while they are angry or resentful, because there is so much ill-feeling back of their words. Owing to the vibratory power of words, what you voice, you begin to attract. People who continually speak of disease, invariably attract disease.

Invisible forces are ever working for man, who is always pulling the strings himself, though he does not know it. We read in the Bible "life and death are in the power of the tongue." Yet most people are speaking destructively from morning until night. It is because they have formed a habit of criticism, condemnation and complaint and are eager to tell you of their misfortunes and how mean all their relatives are. They wear their friends out and people avoid them. They are talking themselves into a flock of troubles. Now that we know the power of the word why not take advantage of it? We take advantage of the radio, the telephone and aeroplanes but live with the Mound-builders in conversation.

Science and religion are now coming together. Science is discovering the power within the atom; metaphysics teaches the power within thoughts and words. We are dealing with dynamite when we deal with words. Think of the power of the word in healing! A word is spoken and a chemical change takes place in the body.

One of my friends was seriously ill. The doctor said she had chronic bronchitis and was on the verge of pneumonia. Her daughters and the doctor rushed her to bed and she had a nurse, but weeks passed and there was no improvement. She was a Truth student but for over a year had attended no meetings nor had she kept up her reading. One morning she telephoned me and said, "Please speak the word and get me out of this! I can't stand it any more; I'm not sick, I'm just disgusted. So much negative talk and thought have almost floored me." Through the spoken word and her affirmation of Truth immediately there was a change for the better. She had a strong hunch to go out and was told it would be dangerous, but by this time she was following Divine Guidance. She went out and called on me and said she was going to attend a luncheon the next day. What had happened? The words of Truth were making a change in her mind and a chemical change was taking place in her body. We are told that if we believe, never doubting, we can say to that mountain, "Be thou removed," and it would disappear into the sea.

The inexhaustible energy in man is released by good-will. A man free from fear, undisturbed by appearances, sending good-will to men and nations, could say to these mountains of hate and war; "Be thou removed" and they would return to their native nothingness.

Resentment and intolerance rob man of his power. We should have signs in the subways and shops "Watch your thoughts!" "Watch your words!"

Let us now be careful in directing this dynamic force within us. Let us direct it to heal, bless and prosper and direct it in waves of good to the whole world. It goes out a mighty force, but noiseless! Thought, the strongest power in the Universe is without sound. Your good-will sweeps all obstacles from your pathway and your heart's desire is released for you.

What is really yours? The answer is: "All that the kingdom affords is yours." Every righteous desire of the heart is promised you. There are three thousand promises in the Bible, but these gifts can come to us only if we can believe them possible, for everything comes through you—not to you. All life is vibration. Feel rich, and you attract riches. Feel successful and you become successful.

I knew of a small boy who was born in a little country town with no advantages, but he always felt successful; he had the conviction that when he grew up he would be a big artist. No one could discourage him because he was success; he had only success thoughts; he radiated success. At an early age he left the small town and went to a big city and to support himself he got a position as a newspaper artist on a daily paper, all this without previous preparation. It never occurred to him that it could not be done. He went to an art school and immediately became a shining light. He never studied in an academic way. Whatever he once saw he remembered. In a few years he went to a still larger city and became a well-known artist. This success came to him because he was always seeing success. "I will give to you the land that thou seeth."

The children of Israel were told that they could have all the land that they could see. The Bible is a metaphysical book and it is speaking to the individual. This minute, it says to each one of us, "I will give to you the land that thou seeth." So, what are you seeing with your inner eye? What pictures are you inviting into your life? The imaging faculty has been called the scissors of the mind. If you have failure thoughts, reverse the thought with a success thought. This sounds easy enough to do, but when a failure thought has become a habit, it takes eternal vigilance to dislodge it. That is when a powerful affirmation is needed. You cannot always control your thought but you can control your word, and eventually the word impresses the subconscious and wins out.

If you are in a negative state of mind just take the statement: "I look with wonder at that which is before me!" It creates an expectancy of something wonderful and something wonderful will come to you. Cultivate the feeling that miracles and wonders are coming to pass. Cultivate a success expectancy.

Very few people bring into life what is rightfully theirs. They live on the outskirts of their heart's desire. It always seems too good to be true. To the person spiritually awake nothing is too good to be true.

If you want to hear people talking who are still asleep in the Adamic dream, go to a hairdresser's establishment. The Adamic dream is the illusion of opposites. Adam fell into a deep sleep having eaten of the tree of illusion. Of course, Adam stands for generic man— the race-man. The race- man vainly imagined loss, lack, failure, sin, sickness and death. The awakened man knows only one power, God, and one condition, good. But now we will return to the beauty parlor. The following is an exact quotation and a good example of what one hears: A woman sat down near me and said in a loud voice, "This place is too warm! Turn something on or open something." The attendant said to her, "How are you feeling today, Mrs. S?" She replied with a heavy sigh, "Oh, I'm pretty well, but I have a hard time keeping well." To the manicurist she said, "Why don't you wear glasses?" The girl replied, "I don't need glasses, why should I wear them?" The woman replied, "Because everybody wears them. You'll find there is something wrong with your eyes if you have them examined." When she finally leaves they all feel limp and wonder if they are really well or only seem to be well. She leaves a trail of apprehension and gloom. This is a sample of what one hears from nearly every booth; the way most people talk. It is appalling when one knows the power of the word and what they are attracting, for they are nearly all describing illnesses or operations.

You combine with what you notice so do not describe anything destructive for you begin to combine with it. What is really yours? The blessings you bring to yourself, through your spoken or silent word; the things you see with your inner eye. Only your doubts, fears and resentments keep your good from you. If you hate or resent a situation, you have fastened it to you, for you attract what you fear or dislike. For example: someone has been unjust to you and you are filled with wrath and resentment. You cannot forgive that person. Time rolls on and another person does the same thing. It is because you have a picture of injustice engraved in your subconscious. History will repeat itself until you think you are cursed with misfortune and injustice. There is only one way to neutralize it. Be absolutely undisturbed by injustice and send good-will to all concerned. "My good-will is a strong tower round about me. I now transmute all enemies into friends, all inharmony into harmony, all injustice into justice." You will be amazed at the working of the law. One student brought harmony out of chaos in her business affairs by that statement.

Do not look back and hash over hard times, or you will be drawn back into these conditions. Give thanks for the dawn of a new day. You must be immune to all discouragement and adverse appearances.

All that you desire or require is already on your pathway, but you must be wide awake to your good to bring it into manifestation. After making statements of Truth you suddenly have a flash of realization. You suddenly feel yourself in a new environment. You feel old negative conditions falling away. I once said to a woman "The walls of lack and delay now crumble away, and you enter your promised land, under grace." She said she had a sudden flash of a wall crumbling away and that she stepped over it. Soon after that, the change came, and she really did enter her Promised Land of Plenty.

I knew a woman whose daughter's desire was a home and husband. In her early youth she had had a broken engagement. Whenever a possible marriage appeared on the horizon, she became frantic with fear and apprehension, picturing vividly another disappointment, and she had several. Her mother came to me to speak the word for her right marriage, Divinely designed, which could not be interfered with. During the interview the mother said continually: "Poor Nellie! Poor Nellie!" I said: "Do not call your daughter 'poor Nellie' again. You are helping her to be demagnetized. Call her 'Lucky Nellie,' `Fortunate Nellie, for you must have faith that God now gives to her the desires of her heart." The mother and daughter persisted in making their affirmations. She has now fulfilled her destiny for she is Mrs. Nellie, the demon of fear dissolved forever.

There are wonderful statements in the Bible referring to the breaking down of negative thought forms. "The power of the Spirit is mighty even unto the pulling down of strongholds." The human mind is helpless to cope with these negative thoughts. The victory is won by the God within, the superconscious mind.

"Brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and there be any praise, think on these things." Phil. 4 : 8.

If people obeyed this, general conversation would come to a standstill for a while, until people learned to talk about constructive things.

Words Your Life

“I want to earn more money, and be a multi-millionaire, easily, effortlessly and joyously."

“I want to feed more poor children, and be a multi-billionaire, easily, effortlessly and joyously."

“I want to mentor more willing learners to be a multi-trillionaire, easily, effortlessly and joyously."

Positive Words

Words are a reflection of our thoughts. Positive words come from positive thoughts, negative words from negative thoughts. It is really that simple. Watch the words that come out of your mouth and you will have a good idea of the direction your thoughts are facing, and as a result, your life.

It is important to always choose our words wisely, but especially vital when we are doing affirmations. Our words are taken literally by our minds. I heard a story that illustrated this exact point! A few years back, a woman shared with me a story about her daughter. Her daughter wanted to increase her wealth. The affirmation she used was: “I want to earn more money.” Well, earn it she did. Her work load doubled. Yes, she was wealthier, but she had to EARN that increase in wealth. Bummer. What started out as a positive intention went honestly awry with an unintended consequence. Think about the words you choose for your affirmations.

How do they describe the results you want? How do they make you feel? Really use your words to accurately portray exactly the results you intend to achieve.

If you want your results to come easily, effortlessly and joyously, say that. If you want to feel light, relaxed, peaceful, content, blessed, say that. Include it all!

Below you will find a list of over 350 positive words for your perusing. As you look over the list, pay attention to how you feel. Imagine having that word in your life as a reality. Which words do you get excited by? Which words move you? Which words bring you to tears? Include those in your affirmations.
