I want to walk with God. I was not dead, for God took me.

 Daily walk with God, here

There's a man in the Bible named Enoch. And though we don't know much about him, one phrase makes his life unforgettable.

 "Enoch walked with God ."

That's it.

He didn't build kingdoms. He didn't write books. He didn't lead armies.

But what marked his life was the fact that he walked closely with God day after day, step after step, heart in sync with God's thinking.

And scripture tells us, "He was not, for God took him." It's as if God looked at Enoch and said, "We've walked together for so long you might as well come home.

What a testimony.

What a legacy.

What a reminder that the greatest thing you can ever do is

to

walk

closely

with

your

Creator.

Walk with me Lord; walk with me

Walk with me Lord; walk with me

Ooh, while I'm on this tedious journey

I want Jesus to walk with me

Oh, hold my hand Lord; please hold my hand

Oh, hold my hand Lord; hold, hold my hand

While I'm on this tedious journey

I want Jesus to hold my hand

Be my Friend Lord, be my friend

Be my Friend Lord, be my friend

While I'm on this tedious journey

I want Jesus to be my friend

Sois mon ami, Seigneur, sois mon ami

Sois mon ami, Seigneur, sois mon ami

In the book of Amos chapter 3 verse 3 says, "Can two walk together unless they are agreed?" To walk together requires more than just proximity. It requires agreement. Not necessarily on every detail, but on the direction, the purpose, the values that shape the journey. You do not have to see  everything with the same way but you do need to beheaded in the same  direction. Whether it is a friendship, a marriage, a mentorship, or even your relationship with God, who you walk with and how you walk says everything about what you believe and what you value. Take a moment and think about this. Everyone you spend time with, you are walking with in spirit. Every  conversation, every shared decision, every influence you allow into your life. These are the steps you are taking and they shape the direction you are going. But it is not just people. It is also the inner things. The thoughts, beliefs, memories and attitudes that walk with you every  single day. What are you agreeing with in your mind? Are you walking in agreement with fear, with shame, with anger, or bitterness? Or are you walking in agreement with God's word, his truth, and his promises for your life? If we are honest, many of us walk in silent agreement with things that are pulling us away from God. We may not realize it at first. It could be the media we consume, the people we confide in, the habits we justify, but slowly agreement forms. Our thoughts begin to reflect those voices. Our actions shift. Our spiritual hunger fades. Some people choose to walk with those chasing success, wealth, or recognition, thinking those companions will lead to satisfaction. Others cling to relationships from the past, people they have outgrown spiritually, but they do not want to let go out of comfort or loyalty. Then there are those walking hand in hand with compromise, believing the lie that they can follow Jesus while holding on to sin. Sin is unbelieve what God has said. And then there are those walking in loneliness, not because they are physically alone, but because they feel disconnected from others and unsure of where they fit. They look around and see other moving forward while they feel stuck. Or maybe they walk with their heads down, burdened by regret, unable to forgive themselves. But here is the gentle question that Amos 3:3 asks of us all. Who are you walking with today? What direction are you heading in? This is not a message of condemnation. It is a call to reflection. It is an invitation to realign because you can't walk closely with someone unless you're headed in the same direction. And you can't walk closely with God unless your heart is open to agree with him. It is a daily walk with God. There's a man in the Bible named  Enoch. And though we do not know much about him, one phrase makes his life unforgettable. "Enoch walked with God ." That is it. He did not build kingdoms. He did not write books. He did not lead armies. But what marked his life was the fact that he walked closely with God day after day, step after step, his heart in sync with God's thinking. And scripture tells us, "He was not (dead), for God took him." It is as if God looked at Enoch and said, "We have walked together for so long, you might as well come home." What a testimony. What a legacy. What a reminder that the greatest thing you can ever do is to walk closely with your Creator. But here is the thing. Just like with any journey, walking with God requires  agreement. In agreement with his word, with his timing, with his ways even when they do not make sense, initially. By and by, you will understand why. And that is not always easy because we live in a culture that does not walk with God. The world often runs in the opposite direction. It celebrates sin, mocks holiness, glamorizes rebellion and calls darkness as freedom. It invites you to walk with pride, with compromise, with anything that will numb the ache of your soul. And if you are not careful you wilI find yourself walking beside ideas, lifestyles, or people who are leading you farther and farther from God while you barely notice the distance. That is why Jesus does not just ask us to visit him on Sundays church service. He calls us into relationship, into daily communion. He wants to be part of your ordinary, your decisions, your schedule, your silence, your struggles. But to walk with him, you have to agree with him. You have to let go of the sin that wants to travel with you. You have to lay down the distractions that keep pulling you off the path. You have to choose  obedience even when it costs you. And you have to trust that walking with Jesus, though sometimes narrow, though sometimes lonely, is the only path that leads to life. The Bible says, "Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand." That means turn around, Realign your steps. Stop walking in agreement with things that are destroying your peace. Choose a new direction. It also says, "Seek first the kingdom of God, and his  righteousness and all these things wil be added to you." That means if you make God your first pursuit, then everything else will fall into its rightful place. When you seek him first, you will never miss out on what matters most. So again, take a quiet moment and ask yourself, am I walking with God or just asking him to follow me? Am l aligning my heart with his word or just hoping he will bless my selfish plans? Am l agreeing with him or silently agreeing with fear, guilt, or compromise? Because you can't walk with God unless you agree with him. And the beautiful truth, he is ready to walk with you. God is already reaching out. He is not demanding immediate perfection. So take that step, turn toward him, agree with him and begin the most important walk of your life.

Now, let us take a moment to pray together.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, as I lift my heart to you right now, just as l am. With all my flaws, all my hopes, all my longings. You are full of mercy and kindness that I can't fully comprehend. I thank you for being patient with me, Lord. For the times when l have doubted you, when I have run ahead of you or wandered off the path completely, you did not give up on me. You waited. You called. You brought me back. I see now how kind you have been. And I am humbled by it. Lord, I want to walk with you. I want to live with you. I want to abide in your presence, to live aware of your  nearness, to let my whole life be shaped by walking beside you. Please help me to walk by faith and not by sight. It is hard sometimes. I want to understand everything, to see the outcome before I step forward. But you have asked me to trust you, to follow you, even when the path is dimly lit. Like it says in Psalm 119 verse 133, "Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no sin have control over me." Steady me, Lord. Let your promises be the ground I stand on. I do not want to be led by emotions or circumstances. I do not want sin to take the lead in my decisions. I do not want shame to be my compass or fear to shape my choices. I do not want the pain of the past, the patterns I have inherited or even my emotions or the expectations of others to define how I move through life. I want you, Lord Jesus. Only you. I want to walk with you like Enoch walked with you, like Abraham walked with you, like the disciples walked with you, with  questions, with flaws, but with hearts wide open to follow you. I want my life to be a journey hand in hand with the one who knows the way. So please, Lord, fill me with your grace. I need it more than l even realize. Your grace for my failures. Your grace for my waiting. Need your grace to let go. Need your grace to keep going. You guide every step I take. Let my heart beat in rhythm with your heart. If there is anything in me that does not look like you, remove it. Uproot it. Don't let pride linger. Don't let stubbornness find a home in me. Take away the desire to do things my own way. Break every part of me that resists surrender to you and replace it with humility, peace, and a deeper hunger for you. Please, Lord, do not let me fall. Do not let sin rule over me, not even in the small hidden places. Don't let distractions pull me away from what matters most. This world is loud, busy, demanding but I want to stay close to  you. Keep my eyes fixed on you, not on what the world says I need to chase. And Lord Jesus, I pray for everyone reading and listening to this prayer. You strengthen them, too. Hold them steady. Wake up something holy in their hearts. To be holy is to do thinking with God's thinking. Give us all the courage to live differently, to turn our backs on compromise and chase after the truth. For your word is truth. Help us walk in bold obedience, even when it costs us. Help us take up our cross daily, knowing you walk that road first and walk it with us still. Teach us what it means to walk in the spirit. Not reacting in the flesh, not giving in to impulses or fear, but walking with purpose, love and clarity. Help us to love like you do. The kind of love as described in 1 Corinthians 13, is patient, kind, not proud or selfish. Love that forgives. Love that endures. Love that reflects who you are because it flows straight from your spirit inside of us. We lay it all down today. Every burden, every sin, every distraction every weight we have carried on our backs for too long. Some of it we picked up by choice. Some of it we never asked for. But all of it, Lord, we surrender it at your feet. Help us run this race with endurance. Help us walk this road with faith. And if we must slow down, let it be to stay in step with you, not to fall behind. When we must pause, let it be in trust, not in fear. Your word in Deuteronomy 5: verse 33 says, "Walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you that you may live and that it may go well with you." That is the life I want , Lord Jesus. Not one life filled with ease or perfection, but the life filled with your presence. A life that is full because you are in it. A life that goes well, not because everything works out how I planned, but because I'm walking close to the one who holds everything together. So here and now, I surrender all to you, willingly. I hold nothing back. Teach me to walk in step with your spirit. Not ahead of you in anxious control. Not behind you in fear or hesitation, but walk right beside you with confidence and peace. Help me know when to move and when to be still, when to speak and when to listen, when to act and when to wait. You know the past I have come from. You see the present I'm walking through. And you hold the future l cannot see. Lord Jesus, be lifted high in my life. Be glorified, in the way I walk, in the way I speak, in the way I love. May everything and let everything I do reflect the mercy you have shown me and the grace that  keeps me going. I thank you for hearing this prayer. I pray and believe I receive all of this in the powerful name of Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
