'Misplaced love'

 Misplaced love! After Genesis, you see the story of the Israelites in their relationship with God and you see misplaced love. Time and time again God rescues them and loves on them and provides for them but they keep running after idols and false gods made of metal and stone. The pagan nations around them would worship idols.

Love, on many levels, is a total committment and trust in someone, or at least it should be. Misplaced love is love given to someone that is not worthy of that trust. Someone that will abuse you...

It can fade and come back, it can be 'fixed,' but because love is a feeling, it is not a guarantee that love lost will return." That idea that love lost won't always return can be a tough one to ...

Currently we are in 2nd Timothy and as you all remember, this is apostle Paul’s final letter to Timothy in the New Testament. He is awaiting his execution in a cold dungeon in Rome. He’s sharing final instructions and words of encouragement to his disciple and close friend for many years. Timothy is a pastor of the church at Ephesus. He is still facing a lot of issues with the false teachers out there. That is the context of this passage. This passage specifically describes the sins of these false teachers. Let’s turn to this passage:

[1] But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. [2] For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, [3] heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, [4] treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [5] having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. [6] For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, [7] always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. [8] Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. [9] But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men.

I was really encouraged by the sermon on fleeing from youthful passions and pursuing righteousness, faith, love and peace along with those who call upon the Lord with a pure heart. As young people who are looking to live out our faith, we must hold fast to this verse (2nd Timothy 2:22). Let it be reminded time and time again because this is what we have been called to and this is what truly gives life.

Coming to this passage, I want us all to think and ponder on why does Scripture speak so much on identifying false teachers

1. Why couldn’t it just be a chapter on it?

2. Why emphasize so much on it as we’ve read through these letters?

3. And what’s the heart or the root behind false teaching?

4. Can you and I also be influenced by false teaching?

We’ll address these questions and more in today’s study.

Verse 1, starts with But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.

Whenever you notice the word “But”, it always means a contrast. What is this passage being contrasted with? The previous passages talk about being a gospel worker, it talks about right teaching, it talks about fleeing from youthful passions and pursuing Christ…right living, and also how to correct opponents gently. This is contrasted with the description in today’s passage. Paul says “But understand this”. It seems like he is saying “Don’t be surprised! Mark my words in the last days you are going to face a lot of trouble from these false teachers”. Which last days is he talking about? In the bible, the last days began when the Spirit poured out on the believers in Acts 2 fulfilling the prophecy of Joel. So since the day of Pentecost, we have been in the “last days”…and it will continue until Christ returns.

That brings me to an important question, why does Paul think it’s important to repeat and re-iterate about false teachers?

1. Obvious reason is that it was a current issue within the church at Ephesus.

2. Church leaders and members cannot overlook or ignore the reality of false teachers in the church.

Acts 20:28-31 : [28] Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God,[e] which he obtained with his own blood. [29] I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; [30] and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. [31] Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears.

Sometimes we think that the best way to not get into controversy is ignoring controversial people. We think “why to be concerned about someone else? Let’s be focused in what we need to do and let other people do what they want to do”. That’s not what the Bible teaches us. We need to deal with false teaching straight up. For three years, Paul warned the elders at Ephesus regarding false teachers. It’s almost as if he is saying that it is inevitable. It is going to happen.

3. Paul was passionate about Christ and His church.

Paul was deeply in love with Jesus and knew the love Christ had for the church. He loved the church so much that He gave himself up for her so that he might cleanse her and present the church to himself in all splendor without spot or wrinkle, holy and without blemish. Because Paul loved Christ and the church, he couldn’t stand the fact that wrong things were being taught about Jesus. It’s like a person trying to cause a fight between a married couple by telling each of them wrong stuff about each other. If you were a close friend of the married couple, you would get worked up and would feel the need to confront that person for trying to cause issues in their marriage.

So we understand how important it is to identify and also be alert regarding false teachers so that you can guard your hearts from it!

He then goes on to describe these teachers:

Lets look at the descriptions in detail. These people would be:

• Lovers of self: selfish, only concerned about their own interests, what can other people do for them, thinking about themselves all day long

• Lovers of money: They love money, constantly they think about how can they get more money, they lose their mind and sleep over having lack of money or wanting more money, money controls every decision they make

• Proud: someone who boasts a lot, they keep bragging about what they have, what they’ve done and what they know. They keep talking big things even if they don’t have proper knowledge of certain things

• Arrogant: They feel superiority to others, look down on other people and treat them without respect, they think they are more important and deserve more importance than others

• Abusive: Immoral, sinful and ungodly things are uttered out of their mouths. They don’t even speak of God with reverence

• Disobedient to parents: They do not submit or obey parents that God has placed over them. Throughout the Bible, obedience to parents is considered important to God. That’s why it’s also one of the Ten Commandments. Culture might think that it’s not important but it is important to God and therefore is absolutely important for us too!

• Ungrateful: We might not think of this as sin, but not being thankful to God is counted as one of the sins in the Bible! When is a person usually ungrateful? When he/she feels entitled, he/she feels that he/she deserve everything that he/she has. Or a person feels ungrateful when he/she expects more than what already has. This doesn’t glorify God because it views God’s gifts and actions towards us as unworthy and useless which is not the case

• Unholy: wicked attitudes and wicked actions

• Heartless: They are hard hearted and unloving. Unloving toward God and unloving toward people

• Unappeasable: You can never convince this person to stop fighting and to be peaceful, unending fights

• Slanderous: Falsely accuse someone, it can be about God or man

• Without self control: No self restraint, you do whatever you feel like doing at the moment, your impulses control you

• Brutal: Violent, fierce and aggressive

• Not loving good: They oppose anything that is good or anyone that is good

• Treacherous: betraying someone

• Reckless: rash in your actions or decision making

• Swollen with conceit: Being blinded by pride

• Lovers of pleasure: Their goal in life is to pursue pleasure for themselves. So they’ll go to any extent to receive pleasure. They think that it doesn’t matter how immoral the thought or the action is…as long as you receive pleasure!

• They have an appearance of godliness but deny its power: When you look at them or talk to them you may think that they are spiritual but it’s only external. Their lives lack the transforming power of the Spirit because they refuse to change.

These false teachers have their lives characterized by these sins above. They are known for these sins. However, I don’t think any of us can look at this list and claim to not have sinned in any of these areas. All of us if we are being totally honest will admit to struggle in one or more of these areas. That’s why I want all of us to pay careful attention to the next part!

We are now delving into the root cause of false teaching. If you see here, the list starts with lovers of self, lovers of money and ends with lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. The real issue here is misplaced love!

[18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. [19] For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. [20] For His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,[g] in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. [21] For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. [22] Claiming to be wise, they became fools, [23] and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. (Rom 1:18-23)

When we read this passage, we see how the issue in human history has always been about misplaced love. The reason why God’s wrath is revealed against us is because even though we’ve seen and experienced the love of God in creating us and sustaining us and providing us with this beautiful world to live in and displaying His greatness in His creation, we still love created things rather than Creator God!

When Adam and Eve were created, they were created with the purpose to love and honor God. The devil told them to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Satan told them that if they ate it they would become like God! At that moment they had to chose to either “love God” or “love themselves”. They chose to “love themselves” and all of humanity and creation fell into sin and destruction! Misplaced love!

After Genesis, you see the story of the Israelites in their relationship with God and you see misplaced love. Time and time again God rescues them and loves on them and provides for them but they keep running after idols and false gods made of metal and stone. The pagan nations around them would worship idols. Israelites even after seeing God perform astonishing miracles before their eyes, chose to love “idols” rather than “Almighty God”. Misplaced love.

And we come to our present age and we love other gods in our lives. In our hearts, we build special shrines for these idols:

• Social Media Idol: We say things like “I’m addicted to social media” but don’t admit that we love seeing ourselves get all the attention. We don’t admit that Facebook is probably the first thing we look up each day and the last thing we say good night to each night

• Entertainment Idol: And this is something I confess…is looking at entertainment as a way to self-medicate you from the issues of your life

• Work Idol: I must perform better at work in order to have my self-worth

• Family and friends Idol: Both family and friends are good things and God desires that we cherish these relationships. However, these are not meant to be substitutes for God in your life. Would you lose all reason to live if your friends and family aren’t around you? Is your happiness motivated by the circle of family-friends present with you?

• Pleasure Idol: In order to feel loved you gravitate toward seeking pleasure for yourself. Your decisions and actions are motivated by your pleasures. You look at your pleasure and you look at Jesus and your pleasures seem more sweeter and better!

And you don’t need to be a psychologist to figure what your idols are. Whatever you end up thinking most of the time or whatever you end up talking about most of the time is your idol. And it is your idol because you have greater affections for these things than Jesus. You love them more than God! You may look at this and be like “what’s the big deal? Why does God have to be so upset over me loving other people or things rather than Him?”

How would you feel if your spouse goes around with other partners? You would be furious! Why? Because you know you belong to each other and this is an exclusive relationship that cannot be shared. Let’s look at us going after our idols as spiritual adultery! In fact, our sin idols ruined us and left us severely bruised. In the days of Old Testament, adulterers would be stoned and publicly humiliated. The punishment we deserved for our spiritual adultery was the wrath of God. But God sent His only Son Jesus to buy us out by giving up his own life. The most precious gift that could have been given was given to rescue us from the penalty of sin, death and Satan! Do you see the love that God has for you?

In the light of God’s amazing love for you, how do you show your love for Jesus?

1) You express your love by sacrifice.

Whenever we think about love in today’s age, we always think about love in terms of a feeling or an emotion. Biblical love is much more than that. In John 3:16, we see God the Father loving the world so much that he “gave” his most precious gift to save us. We can show our love for Jesus by giving something that’s really costly to us. The control and authority of your life is most important, wouldn’t you agree? Maybe you’ve been holding onto it for so many years, would you give it to Jesus because you love him more?

2) You express your love loving one another.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. (John 13:34)

As God’s church and family, God doesn’t want us to be consumers but imitators. The same love Christ pours out to us, we bend it outwards to each other in God’s family. Interestingly the verse says “just as Jesus loved us, we ought to love one another”. It’s the same sacrificial love we are display to each other. Look for ways to know the other members in this family, find out how you can serve them, think about ways where you can share your life with them.

3) You express your love through obedience.

[15] “If you love me, you will keep my commandments”. (John 14:15)

[21] Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” (John 14:21)

See there is a difference between obeying the commands of Jesus to “show people” that you love Him and obeying the commands of Jesus “out of” your love for Him. You can obey the commands just because those are the right things a Christian should do. Or you can obey the commands of Jesus because you are deeply in love with Jesus. Which do you think glorifies Christ and honors Him?

The truth is you will listen and obey the person whom you truly value and treasure in your heart. If you don’t value a person, you might still do it out of obligation but not willingly and gladly. So ask yourself today, how valuable is Jesus to you today? Is he so valuable and so important that everything he says you want to do? Or is he just like someone you like listening to when you feel like?

Another question I would like to put in front of you for reflection, think about some sin that you struggle with. Maybe 8 out 10 times when you are tempted, you fall into it. Your habits, patterns, thoughts are driven by this temptation because its hard. Would you consider asking yourself the next time you are tempted “Do I love Christ more or this sin?” Your desire and will to trust Christ and obey him during moments of extreme temptation and testing makes Him look big and precious!

Pathophysiology

 Absorption of Water and Electrolytes

The small intestine must absorb massive quantities of water. A normal person or animal of similar size takes in roughly 1 to 2 liters of dietary fluid every day. On top of that, another 6 to 7 liters of fluid is received by the small intestine daily as secretions from salivary glands, stomach, pancreas, liver and the small intestine itself.

By the time the ingesta enters the large intestine, approximately 80% of this fluid has been absorbed. Net movement of water across cell membranes always occurs by osmosis, and the fundamental concept needed to understand absorption in the small gut is that there is a tight coupling between water and solute absorption. Another way of saying this is that absorption of water is absolutely dependent on absorption of solutes, particularly sodium:

Sodium is absorbed from the intestinal lumen by several mechanisms, most prominently by cotransport with glucose and amino acids, and by Na+/H+ exchange, both of which move sodium from the lumen into the enterocyte.

Absorbed sodium is rapidly exported from the cell via sodium pumps - when a lot of sodium is entering the cell, a lot of sodium is pumped out of the cell, which establishes a high osmolarity in the small intercellular spaces between adjacent enterocytes.

Water diffuses in response to the osmotic gradient established by sodium - in this case into the intercellular space. It seems that the bulk of the water absorption is transcellular, but some also diffuses through the tight junctions.

Water, as well as sodium, then diffuses into capillary blood within the villus.

As sodium is rapidly pumped out of the cell, it achieves very high concentration in the narrow space between enterocytes. A potent osmotic gradient is thus formed across apical cell membranes and their connecting junctional complexes that osmotically drives movement of water across the epithelium.

Water is thus absorbed into the intercellular space by diffusion down an osmotic gradient. However, looking at the process as a whole, transport of water from lumen to blood is often against an osmotic gradient - this is important because it means that the intestine can absorb water into blood even when the osmolarity in the lumen is higher than osmolarity of blood.

Osmosis, Tonicity, and Hydrostatic Pressure

Large quantities of water molecules constantly move across cell membranes by simple diffusion, often facilitated by movement through membrane proteins, including aquaporins. In general, net movement of water into or out of cells is negligible. For example, it has been estimated that an amount of water equivalent to roughly 100 times the volume of the cell diffuses across the red blood cell membrane every second; the cell doesn't lose or gain water because equal amounts go in and out.

There are, however, many cases in which net flow of water occurs across cell membranes and sheets of cells. An example of great importance to you is the secretion of and absorption of water in your small intestine. In such situations, water still moves across membranes by simple diffusion, but the process is important enough to warrant a distinct name - osmosis.

Osmosis and Net Movement of Water

Osmosis is the net movement of water across a selectively permeable membrane driven by a difference in solute concentrations on the two sides of the membrane. A selectively permiable membrane is one that allows unrestricted passage of water, but not solute molecules or ions.

Different concentrations of solute molecules leads to different concentrations of free water molecules on either side of the membrane. On the side of the membrane with higher free water concentration (i.e. a lower concentration of solute), more water molecules will strike the pores in the membrane in a give interval of time. More strikes equates to more molecules passing through the pores, which in turn results in net diffusion of water from the compartment with high concentration of free water to that with low concentration of free water.

Note :  Free water is the fraction of water that is not bound to solute molecules or ions and is free to diffuse. Water molecules that are bound to solute are "tied up" or engaged and not freely available to diffuse across membranes.

The key to remember about osmosis is that water flows from the solution with the lower solute concentration into the solution with higher solute concentration. This means that water flows in response to differences in molarity across a membrane. The size of the solute particles does not influence osmosis. Equilibrium is reached once sufficient water has moved to equalize the solute concentration on both sides of the membrane, and at that point, net flow of water ceases. Here is a simple example to illustrate these principles:

Two containers of equal volume are separated by a membrane that allows free passage of water, but totally restricts passage of solute molecules. Solution A has 3 molecules of the protein albumin (molecular weight 66,000) and Solution B contains 15 molecules of glucose (molecular weight 180). Into which compartment will water flow, or will there be no net movement of water? [ answer ]

Additional examples are provided on how to determine which direction water will flow in different circumstances.

Tonicity

When thinking about osmosis, we are always comparing solute concentrations between two solutions, and some standard terminology is commonly used to describe these differences:

Isotonic: The solutions being compared have equal concentration of solutes.

Hypertonic: The solution with the higher concentration of solutes.

Hypotonic: The solution with the lower concentration of solutes.

Solution A: 1 M Glucose, 180 grams/liter.

Solution B : 1 M Lactose, 342 grams/liter.

Solution C : 0.1 M Lactose, 34 grams /liter.

In the examples above, Solutions A and B are isotonic (with each other), Solutions A and B are both hypertonic compared to Solution C, and Solution C is hypotonic relative to Solutions A and B.

Diffusion of water across a membrane generates a pressure called osmotic pressure. If the pressure in the compartment into which water is flowing is raised to the equivalent of the osmotic pressure, movement of water will stop. This pressure is often called hydrostatic ('water-stopping') pressure. The term osmolarity is used to describe the number of solute particles in a volume of fluid. Osmoles are used to describe the concentration in terms of number of particles - a 1 osmolar solution contains 1 mole of osmotically-active particles (molecules and ions) per liter.

The classic demonstration of osmosis and osmotic pressure is to immerse red blood cells in solutions of varying osmolarity and watch what happens. Blood serum is isotonic with respect to the cytoplasm, and red cells in that solution assume the shape of a biconcave disk. To prepare the images shown below, red cells from your intrepid author were suspended in three types of solutions:

Isotonic - the cells were diluted in serum: Note the beautiful biconcave shape of the cells as they circulate in blood.

Hypotonic - the cells in serum were diluted in water: At 200 milliosmols (mOs), the cells are visibly swollen and have lost their biconcave shape, and at 100 mOs, most have swollen so much that they have ruptured, leaving what are called red blood cell ghosts. In a hypotonic solution, water rushes into cells.

Hypertonic - A concentrated solution of NaCl was mixed with the cells and serum to increase osmolarity: At 400 mOs and especially at 500 mOs, water has flowed out of the cells, causing them to collapse and assume the spiky appearance you see.

Predict what would happen if you mixed sufficient water with the 500 mOs sample shown above to reduce its osmolarity to about 300 mOs.

Calculating Osmotic and Hydrostatic Pressure

The flow of water across a membrane in response to differing concentrations of solutes on either side - osmosis - generates a pressure across the membrane called osmotic pressure. Osmotic pressure is defined as the hydrostatic pressure required to stop the flow of water, and thus, osmotic and hydrostatic pressures are, for all intents and purposes, equivalent. The membrane being referred to here can be an artifical lipid bilayer, a plasma membrane or a layer of cells.

The osmotic pressure P of a dilute solution is approximated by the following:

P = RT (C1 + C2 + .. + Cn)

where R is the gas constant (0.082 liter-atmosphere/degree-mole), T is the absolute temperature, and C1 ... Cn are the molar concentrations of all solutes (ions and molecules).

Similarly, the osmotic pressure across of membrane separating two solutions is:

P = RT (ΔC)

where ΔC is the difference in solute concentration between the two solutions. Thus, if the membrane is permeable to water and not solutes, osmotic pressure is proportional to the difference in solute concentration across the membrane (the proportionality factor is RT).

Practice makes perfect, and shown below are some practice problems on osmosis, osmotic pressure and net flow of water across a selectively-permiable membrane. The membrane allows free passage of water molecules, but does not allow movement of solute particles (molecules and ions) - this is a simple model of a lipid bilayer.

Look at each problem, predict the result, then click the image to see the correct answer and a short explanation of what's going on. One of the goals here is to solidify the idea of describing solutions in terms of molarity versus mass concentration (grams/liter). In the images below MW is an abbreviation for molecular weight (i.e. grams per mole).

Note: If nothing happens when you click on the images below, it means that your browser does not have Javascript enabled, and you will not be able to see the answers.

Example 1: Glucose is a monosaccharide and sucrose (table sugar) is a disaccharide.

Example 2: Same solutes as in Example 1, but their concentrations are presented differently.

Example 3: NaCl or sodium chloride is, of course, table salt. Before doing the problem, think about what happens to salt when it is dissolved in water.

Example 4: Albumin is the most abundant protein in blood. Glycine is an amino acid - assume that it is not a salt.

Example 5: Insulin is a small protein hormone that is critical for maintaining normal blood glucose concentrations.

Example 6: KCl or potassium chloride is an inorganic salt. For the first time, we see a mixture of solutes in the right compartment.

Covid-19 is not virus

 *Dr. Faheem Younus, Head of Infectious Diseases Clinic, University of Maryland, USA says :*

  1. We may have to live with C19 for months or years.  Don't deny or panic.  Don't make your life a misery.  Let's learn to live with this reality.

  2. You can't destroy the C19 virus that has penetrated the cell walls, by drinking liters of hot water - you'll just be going to the bathroom more often.

  3. Washing your hands and maintaining a physical distance  is your best method of protection.

  4. If you do not have a C19 patient at home, there is no need to disinfect your home.

  5. Grocery bags / plastic bags, gas stations, shopping carts and ATMs do not cause infection.  Wash your hands, live your life as usual.

  6. C19 is not a food infection.  It is associated with infectious droplets such as flu.  There is no demonstrated risk that C19 is transmitted by ordering food.

  7. You can lose your sense of smell by using a lot of anti-allergies and viral infections.  These are only non-specific symptoms of C19.

  8. Once you get home, you don't need to change clothes immediately and take a shower! Cleanliness is a virtue but not paranoia!

  9. The C19 virus does not fly through the air.  This is a respiratory drop infection that requires close contact.

  10.The air is clean, you can walk to parks and public places (just keep your physical distance for protection)

  11. Just use regular soap against C19, no need for anti-bacterial soap.  These are viruses, not bacteria.

  12. You don't have to worry about your food orders.  But you can heat everything in the microwave, if you want.

  13. The possibility of bringing the C19 home in your shoes is like being struck by lightning twice a day.  I've worked against viruses for 20 years - drop infections don't spread like that!

  14. You can't be protected from viruses by consuming vinegar, sugarcane juice and ginger!  It's just for immunity not medicine.

  15. Wearing a mask for a long time interferes with your breathing and oxygen levels.  Wear it only in crowded places.

  16. Wearing gloves is also a bad idea;  the virus can accumulate in gloves and is easily transmitted if you touch your face.  Better to just wash your hands regularly.

  17. Immune system gets very weak by always living in a sterile environment.  Even if we are taking immune-boosting supplements / medicines, please regularly leave your house to the park / beach or anywhere else.

*Immunity is increased by EXPOSURE TO PATHOGENS, _not_ by sitting at home and consuming fried / spicy / sweet foods & fizzy drinks.*

*Very good article, must be read by everyone.*

Latest news:

  * Good news to the world ... *

  * Russia has done a post-mortem autopsy of the Covid-19 patient, a big revelation has occurred.  *

   Russia became the first country in the world to perform an autopsy (= post mortem) on a corpse of Covid-19 and, after a thorough investigation, discovered that * Covid-19 does not exist as a virus *.

  It's a worldwide scam: * people are dying from "amplified 5G electromagnetic radiation (= poison)".  *

  Doctors in Russia have violated the World Health Organization (WHO) law, which does not allow post-mortem autopsies on the bodies of people who have died from Covid-19 to be discovered after a certain time.  These doctors made scientific discovery: * we can not assume that it is a virus, but a bacterium that causes death, which causes blood clots to form in the veins and nerves,  Cause the death of the patient because of this bacteria.  *

   Russia has defeated the virus, claiming that "there is nothing but phelia-intravascular coagulation (thrombosis) * and the way to treat it is to cure it":

    1) * Antibiotic pills *

    2) * Anti-inflammatory * and

    3) * take anticoagulants (= aspirin).  *

  * This indicates that a cure for the disease is possible *, this sensational news for the world was prepared by Russian doctors by post-mortem autopsy (corpses) of the Covid-19 virus.

  According to other Russian scientists, ventilators and the intensive care unit (ICU) were never needed.

  Protocols to this effect have already been published in Russia.

    * CHINA already knew this, but never released its report.  *

   Share this information with all your family, neighbors, acquaintances, friends,

  your colleagues so that they can come out of the fear of Covid-19 and understand that * it is not a virus, but simply a bacteria exposed to 5G radiation.  *

  * The cause is to harm people with very low immunity.  *

  This radiation also causes inflammation and hypoxia.  Those who are victims should take Asprin-100mg and Apronix or Paracetamol 650mg.

  Because it has been shown that * covid-19 causes the blood to clot, which causes thrombosis in the person and due to which the blood clots in the veins and because of this the brain, heart and  lungs cannot obtain oxygen, which makes the person's breathing difficult and the person quickly dies due to lack of respiratory energy.  *

  Doctors in Russia disobeyed the transmission protocol and performed autopsies on dead bodies from covid-19.

  The doctors opened their arms, legs, and other body parts and after examining them properly, * noticed that the blood vessels were dilated and the veins were full of thrombi, which prevented the flow of blood and also reduced  the flow of oxygen.  in the body, resulting in the death of the patient *.

  After learning about this research, * the Russian Ministry of Health immediately changed the treatment protocol for Covid-19 * and gave aspirin to its positive patients: 100 mg and Empromax.

  As a result, the patients began to recover and their health began to improve.  * The Russian Ministry of Health unloaded more than 14,000 patients in a single day and sent them home *.

Tomorrow Will Be Better

 Tomorrow Will Be Better lyrics

When you wake up in the morning

When you haven't started to think

There is a whole brand new day

Open wide and waiting for you

I know in life's sorrow,

you're on the verge of drowning

May your tears flee with yesterday

blow away with the wind

When you wake up in the morning

When you haven't started to think

The world is out there calling open

eyes to new beginning

A newborn sun is shinning

Chasing shadows from your mind

Everything will be alive,

under the sunshine's smile

Come out from your corner

No doubt to join us

You can decide the future

Devote your youthful power to this world

Come together, hand in hand together

I know you'll do

We pray and believe

that tomorrow will be better.

No, I don't know what your name is

But you're so familiar to me

Cause we belong to one family

You can hear my heart calling

Life can be music,

rainbows can be reached

If you face yourself truly

keep striving for your dream

Come out from your corner

No doubt to join us

You can decide the future

Devote your youthful power to this world

Come together, hand in hand together

I know you'll do

We pray and believe

that tomorrow will be better.

When you wake up in the morning

When you haven't started to think

There is a whole brand new day

Open wide and waiting for you

I know in life's sorrow,

you're on the verge of drowning

May your tears flee with yesterday

blow away with the wind

Come out from your corner

No doubt to join us

You can decide the future

Devote your youthful power to this world

Come together, hand in hand together

I know you'll do

We pray and believe

that tomorrow will be better.

Come out from your corner

No doubt to join us

You can decide the future

Devote your youthful power to this world

Come together, hand in hand together

I know you'll do

We pray and believe

that tomorrow will be better.

Come out from your corner

No doubt to join us

You can decide the future

Devote your youthful power to this world

Come together, hand in hand together

I know you'll do

We pray and believe

that tomorrow will be better.

Come out from your corner

You can decide the future

that tomorrow will be better.

Money Politics in Health Care

 Why did Bill Gates go from Microsoft to Vaccines investment?

 https://www.bitchute.com/video/BkwHbDoMN3R2/

Money, Politics and Health Care: A Disease-Creation Economy Money in politics is making our nation sicker, threatening our national security, and ultimately destroying the very economic prosperity the "money in politics" seeks to achieve.

Healthcare Industry Money in Politics, Healthcare Industry Investment in Politics ‣ The healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and nursing homes, health professional organizations, and HMOs, contributed $1.43 billion to candidates for federal office from 1990-2014 ‣ The healthcare industry spent $6.4 billion to ...

Healthcare is inextricably political because it's about people and money. However, political doesn't have to mean partisan. A partisan viewpoint is naturally prejudiced for or against something. Think of it like discussions of race.

Backroom Deals: If money rules politics, then the most profitable medical therapies, not the best treatments, are researched and implemented. If hospitals and doctors are paid for volume and piece work, they produce more visits and procedures but not better health.

5 methods to enhance our immunity.

  Dr Zhong Nanshan is the expert who helped China in 2003 on SARS and he went to Wuhan to help control COVID-19. He was the one who advised the China government on lockdown of cities to control the spread of the disease...a very respected and dedicated doctor. Kindly take note of the following practical advice by Dr. Zhong Nanshan , China's top authority on Covid-19.

Dr Zhong predicted that, sooner or later, the widespread community infection of Covid-19 will be inevitable. This is because there is now increasing numbers of infected people who are asymptomatic but with varying incubation periods moving around undetected.

As the above scenario is almost uncontrollable and unavoidable, it's now crucial for us to prime our own immune system first.

Dr Zhong has provided 5 methods to enhance our immunity.

Dr Zhong said: "Your immunity is the best and final solid defence for Covid-19 infection." Do not just rely on masks, hand washing, etc alone. These are great preventive measures, but on top of them, everyone still needs to build up their own immunity as soonest as possible.

How to prime our immune system from now onwards, as soon as possible?

1. Firstly, we must get enough sleep; we must maintain at least 7 hours of sleep. Those who sleep less than 7 hours a day would have a lowered immunity against infection.

2. Second, we must eat well; our so-called "eat well" is not about eating delicacies, but eating wholesome high-quality proteins, which can be used to produce antibodies. Remember to strictly control our sugar intake; ingesting excess refined sugar can lead to inactivity of our white blood immunity cells for 5 hours! Therefore, we have to select and control our diet.

3. Third, the coronavirus has a predictable propagation mode, it will multiply faster in the cold winter. So some experts advise us to get more sun exposure which helps increase vitamin D to prime our immunity. Other experts did research and published findings that the intake of vitamin D supplements during winter months can reduce respiratory tract infections by two thirds. If you really cannot or don’t bask in the sun, you can also choose to take vitamin D instead.

4. Fourth, one Russian research found out: to avoid upper respiratory tract infection, you have to rinse and gargle your mouth when you return home after outdoor visits. Why? Because all viruses have the keys to enter our cells; when a virus invades its target cell, it has to first drill holes and knock on doors etc, so it will take a while to reach and attach the key to the target cell wall to open the gate to enter the target cell and propagate. So, if you are infected outdoor when you reached home just gargle and flush them out of your mouth.

 At the same time, the Russian researcher also mentioned, "Whether you gargle with water, saltwater, betadine diluted in water, mouthwashes, tea; all these 5 methods work well.

5. Finally, Dr Zhong also pointed out that studies in Japan, Israel and Finland all showed that: Simply taking a hot bath every day to elevate your body temperature sufficiently would create an unconducive body environment for coronavirus infection.

The research also mentioned that if you take a hot bath 4 times or more each week, the virus infection rate can drop to 60%. Dr Zhong's advice on this is: Take a hot bath every day. A 41 degrees C and for 5 minutes is good enough!

*Psalms 91:1-10*

1) Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2) I will say of the Lord , “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

3) Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

4) He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5) You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

6) nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7) A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

8) You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

9) If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,

10) no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

In Jesus Christ I Declare And Decree,

 Psalm 91

 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High

    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,

    my God, in whom I trust.”

 Surely he will save you

    from the fowler’s snare

    and from the deadly pestilence.

 He will cover you with his feathers,

    and under his wings you will find refuge;

    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

 You will not fear the terror of night,

    nor the arrow that flies by day nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,

    nor the plague that destroys at midday.

 A thousand may fall at your side,

    ten thousand at your right hand,

    but it will not come near you.

 You will only observe with your eyes

    and see the punishment of the wicked.

 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”

    and you make the Most High your dwelling,

 no harm will overtake you,

    no disaster will come near your tent.

 For he will command his angels concerning you

    to guard you in all your ways;

 they will lift you up in their hands,

    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;

    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;

    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

 He will call on me, and I will answer him;

    I will be with him in trouble,

    I will deliver him and honor him.

 With long life I will satisfy him

    and show him my salvation.”

 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty .

The Keywords here are: Dwelleth, Secret place, Most High, Shadow of the Almighty.

 • Dwelleth : to dwell is to continue staying in a place. In the original (Hebrew) text, the word used is yashab and means "to sit down (specifically as judge, in ambush, in quiet); by implication to dwell, to remain; causatively to settle, to marry ".

Secret place means a hiding place. The Hebrew word is sether or sithrah and refer to "a cover, hiding place, or protection".

Most High refers to God as the lofty or supreme being who is higher (in knowledge, power and everything) than anyone. In Hebrew to word used is El-yon .

Shadow , tsale in Hebrew, is shade as a symbol of defence.

Psalm 91 presents the world as a battle ground where various evils occur. The passage mentions about the " terror by night ", " arrow that fly-by-night ", " pestilence ", and " destruction ". Woe to the person that walks about with blindness in such a terrible place. Apostle Paul described the situation as a war with evil spiritual forces of darkness. " For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places "( Ephesians 6:12 ).

In the ancient times, cities or nations used to have fortresses or high towers. These were places of safety. They were characterized by thick walls and high raised portions on the wall wherein a watchman would stand guard to observe and alert the people inside the wall, in case of any approaching danger.

 In case of danger and you were outside the gates, you would run into the fortress for your own protection. As a born-again child of God, you also need to live in the fortress of God's Word. This world is dark and our true protection lies in the revelation of God's counsel for our lives, here and now. When one develops a closer walk with God, daily, he or she will live by the speaking of God in his or her life. When God reveals His counsel to you, that will gives you joy and out of that joy comes strength. The joy of the Lord is my strength. The revelation of God's will gives you to see and walk, not as a blind person but as one who sees. That is not the situation for many people in the world today. Their lives are opened for the devil to play around with. They are naked before forces of darkness. Defenseless. But a believer walks with God and is actually hidden in Christ. " For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:3). 'ye' is an archaic English for plural you ,many audiences.

 When you live by the counsel which God reveal to you, what you do is being done in the name of the Lord. As a believer " whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus" ( Colossians 3:17 ). That name alone is your protection and no amount of devils can defeat that. The name of the Lord Jesus is his presence and hedge around you; it is your ultimate tower of protection –" The name of the LORD is a strong tower ; the righteous run into it, and is safe" (Proverbs 18:10).

 Now, having explained the above, let us read and meditate on Psalm 91. Take note that the word used in the Hebrew text for " secret place " is sether , sithrah and refers to a shelter of protection. It is because of this, that other versions like New International version Bible states, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty". When we read and understand the whole chapter, you will realise that the shelter being referred here is actually a fortress or tower. In the Jerusalem Bible, it puts it very well as follows: If you live in the shelter of Elyon and make your home in the shadow of Shaddai, you can say to Yahweh, ' My refuge , my fortress, my God in whom I trust !

And verses 14 and 15 continues to say : I rescue all who cling to me , I protect whoever knows my name, I answer everyone who invokes me, I am with them when they are in trouble ; I bring them safety and honour.

 These verses clearly strike a chord with Proverbs 18:10 , " The name of the LORD is a strong tower : the righteous run into it and is safe ".

 The Lord my Refuge and Fortress.

Refuge ( machaseh in Hebrew ) is a place of shelter which you can trust for your safety or protection.

Fortress is a well-known  English term which refers to a building, a fort, a tower or garrison used to provide military defence. In the Hebrew text, however, the word used is matsud and, apart from the usual meaning of fort , it also refers to " net", "capture", "fastness", " hold", "be hunted", and "snare". This somewhat seems contradictory of what a fortress ought to provide but read the interesting exposition below.

Trust , batach in Hebrew, means " to be confident or sure", or " to be bold, ( confident, secure, sure)".

Psalm 91:2 , " I will say ..."– the testimony of being in the secret place of the Most High is a deeply personal experience; it cannot be shared as a group. There could be many people in a congregation but the experience of abiding in the secret place is personal. A day is surely coming when one will exclaim, " Lord, I helped the poor, and fed the orphans!" , as another one will exclaim, "Lord, I prophesied in your name!" but the LORD will rebuke,  " I never knew you"

One can only truly enjoy the blessing of God's protection when one is in God.

 God Himself is our Refuge and Fortress.  One cannot have the protection without the LORD or be in the LORD without the blessing of His protection, for the poet wrote. , " in him we live, and move, and have our being." ( see Acts 17:28 )

He shall Deliver thee

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the

fowler, and from the noisome pestilence

 Keywords:  surely, deliver, snare, fowler, noisome, pestilence.

Delivernatsal in Hebrew,  means to snatch away (in a good or a bad sense), rescue or to save.

 • Snarepach in Hebrew,  refers to a net or sheet that is laid out as a trap.

•  Fowler means snare ( i.e. one who set up the trap).

Noisomehavvah in Hebrew, means "eagerly coveting and rushing upon"; it refers to a "perverse" and "wicked" thing.

Pestilencedeber in Hebrew,  is a plague or disease .

We have the assurance that  God will deliver us from the trap of the enemy and any destructive wiles which the enemy may eagerly throw at us.

Notice that God doesn't promise to prevent troubles from coming our way;  God promises to deliver us from them. Troubles will be there, troubles so wide and spread everywhere like a net to engulf us and leave no room for hope.  Remember Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Daniel 3:16-23). Daniel was now called Belteshazzar , Hananiah was called Shadrach , Mishael was called Meshach , and Azariah was called Abednego . These four Hebrew youths soon proved themselves to be exceptionally wise. As a result, they found favor with King Nebuchadnezzar. All  hope must have seemed lost when they got thrown into the hungry flames of the furnace. It was not a part of a hand or a leg thrown into a furnace; but their whole bodies got thrown into the furnace ! It is in such helpless situations that the present help in time of need often shows up;  "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).

 When in anxiety, when in a situation that  disarms your strength , a situation which whispers, 'There is nothing you can do and there is no hope for you',  it is time to open our eyes and know that there is a "fowler" behind a "snare"! When young David heard the terrifying words of giant Goliath and saw the Israeli army being challenged, he looked at Goliath and instead of seeing a huge spear and coat of mail, he saw Satan casting a spell of fear on Israelites. When we see the real enemy , and when we know the power that God has made available to us, with boldness we will stand upon the promises of God.

 Now no matter how the enemy may eagerly covet to plague us with trouble, we are promised in the Word of God that "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him". Psalm 59:19.

 Amen.

What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit

O what needless pain we bear

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer

Have we trials and temptations?

Is there trouble anywhere?

We should never be discouraged

Take it to the Lord in prayer

Can we find a friend so faithful

Who will all our sorrows share?

Jesus knows our every weakness

Take it to the Lord in prayer

Are we weak and heavy laden

Cumbered with a load of care?

Precious Savior, still our refuge

Take it to the Lord in prayer

Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?

Take it to the Lord in prayer!

In his arms he'll take and shield thee

Thou wilt find a solace there

The Love of God

 We need to start the question by asking Who is God? → For only by knowing this, can we establish our relationship with Him.

God is not bounded by time, God is able to see the past, present and future although He chooses to identify Himself as “I AM” (Exodus 3:14) → signifying His working in man in the present. He has seen all our flaws and the sins that we are going to commit, yet chose to make a covenant that bounds Himself to us.

God is supreme → We are His creation → just the same as a car is a creation of man → the spirit of life given from God is what enables us to move, live → the energy in the fuel is what enables the car to move → if we were to destroy the car, are we condemned as murderers?

God has all the rights to do what He wills in our life. The biggest difference is the car is not made in the image and likeness of man. Hence there can be no relationship between them. Yet because we are created in the image and likeness of God, we have His attributes, His passion, His character, which enables us to have this wonderful relationship with Him. And it is because of this divine relationship, He chose to respect our free will and not bend us to follow His will.

• God is spirit (John 4:24) → and hence, we are unable to locate and see Him in this 3-dimensional world. This means whatever relationship we have with Him is one relationship that does not rely on our 5 senses.

• Because God is not bounded by time and exists outside time, what He is now, He is the same in the future, unchanging→

Hence we can rely upon Him and also trust His character → what He says He cannot ever take it back → for it is impossible for God to lie. (Numbers 23:19)

 God’s love is :

Everlasting and ever enduring (Jeremiah 31:3)

• John 17:24 → God’s love for us begins before the foundation of the world and He has promised through Christ that all those He loves will be kept (John 17:12)

 • Even though Isreal sins again and again, God’s love is ever enduring → Jeremiah 30:11 → God always remembers His covenant with the people of Isreal and will not make a full end.

▪ We see that in Ezekiel 16, God was speaking to the children of Isreal through prophet Ezekiel that they were committing all the evil acts by making images (verse 17), sacrifice their sons and daughters (verse.20), building shrines and high places (verse.24) and many more such that they were even worse than Sodom and Samaria (verse.46-51) and God says He will deal with them according to their sins (verse.59). → Yet God remembers the covenant He made with them purely because He is God (verse.62-63)

▪ God’s long-suffering in asking the children of Isreal to repent →Ezekiel 18:30-32

o Hebrews 6:13-20 → Made an everlasting oath that we have this strong consolation that we can flee to Him and embrace the hope given to us. → we see this parallel in Joshua 20: 1-9 → If we kill someone accidently and is running from the avenger, we run to the city of refuge and stay there till the high priest dies and then we will be released → similar to us running away from sin and until Christ the high priest dies, we will be set free.

 • Dominant among His other traits

o Only emotion that makes God turn back on His own words (no matter how furious God is, He always remembers His covenant and saves a remnant  .

▪ Ezekiel 5:5-17 (focus on verse 11,17) → God keeps emphasizing in His fury, “ as I live ”, “I the Lord has spoken

▪ Ezekiel 7:4, 8:18, 9:10 (God emphasizes again and again that there will be no pity for them) → yet He has never said that they shall not be my people.

▪ Ezekiel 11:14-20 → Yet we see, God refuses to make a complete end → God is still willing to be their God .

▪ We see this also in Jeremiah 44:26-28

 o Being a just Judge is by definition not compatible with being a merciful and loving God .

▪ God “cheats” → provided an escape for us because He knows we will fall and sin and without the escape and atonement He has to judge us. → Revelation 13:8 → the atonement was already provided before we even sin. The price was paid before there was a need.

▪ God “forgives” and chooses to overlook the sin (for a sin committed is a sin committed and no amount of good works or repentance can remove the penalty (Romans 6:23), yet God chooses to forgive → Ezekiel 18:20-23, 18:27-29 → note the way of the Lord→ God is providing a way out → the way of escape and refuge similar to the previous point.

▪ Our judgement is once but God’s mercies are continuous (Ephesians 5:26 and 1 Corinthians 15:31) → John 5:24-25 → has passed from death to life → we are already judged once and cannot be judged again for God is a perfect Judge and makes no mistakes and being not bound to time the judgement pronounced is eternal → He cannot give life and judge us again to death → hence our judgement is not to death but to restoration (1 Corinthians 11:32 and 1 Peter 4:17)

 • Unreserved and unidirectional

o Doesn’t require our input (Ezekiel 16:8) → we were nothing when God chose us

o Based totally on Him → Ephesians 1:3-14 He chose and elected us before the foundation of the world→ Predestinated us by molding us to become sons and daughters of God by the transforming of our spirit (Ezekiel 36:26 and Philippians 1:6) all because of the good pleasure of His divine will → so that we can have redemption

 o God’s oath is covenant with man, it is always about Him fulfilling it Himself.

▪ Genesis 15:6-21 → Abraham did not pass through those pieces → 1 Timothy 2:5 → There is a mediator (Christ) between God and man. But God is one (Christ had the fullness of God and came from God). → God fulfilled everything Himself regarding the atonement of sin and all the covenant is made by God through His grace.

o Free-will conflict → some people talk about being predestinated means having our free-will taken from us… But that is the wrong way of thinking, for God is supreme and His thoughts are higher than us. → We keep forgetting that we are below God and we are His creations. He is the potter , we are the clay → For example, Because we are higher than the animals, we are able to “control” their behaviour by putting variables that we can control. A cheese on a mouse trap → the mouse has to first choose to take the cheese. But we rest assured that the plans of God are better for us and we are willing to give up our free-will  to follow His divine will. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Hence God ’s love  is  the  basis of  our faith.→ Here is a testimony : One  of  my  friends  is  going  through  a  really  tough  time  and  is  having  trouble  suppressing  the  anger  and  bitterness  towards  another  person  who  done  her  great  harm. I  encouraged  her  to  push  all  her  anger  to  God  and  allow  God  to  absorb  that  part  of you. → letting Him take  that  burden  away  from  you.  It  is   quite  a  common  story  for  many  Christians → we  feel  overwhelmed...and  at  a  complete  loss  of  what  to  do  when  certain  trials  come...and normally  it's  during  this  time..  we  are  so  overwhelmed  that  we  take  a  leap  of  faith  to  reach  out  to God...and  simply  pass  our  burdens / anger / sadness  to  God...trusting  in  Him  that  only He  knows  what  is  best for  us...  trusting  that  He  allowed  this  to  happen  to  us...and  trusting  our  entire  future  forward  to  Him... for we  don't  know  what  is  to  come next... and  we  don't  know  whether  the  stormy  days  will  be  over...but  we know  that  He  has  heard  us...  He  knows  all  the  hurt  and  things and situations  we  are  going  through...and  God  will  make a way  for us.

Amen.

Love the Love of God,

feel the Love of God,

live the Love of God.

 God shall Cover you.

 He shall cover thee with His feathers , and under His wings shalt thou trust : His truth shall be thy shield and  buckler.

 Keywords: Cover, feathers , wings.

Coversakak in Hebrew,  is to fence in or cover over, figuratively to protect, that is, defend, hedge in, join together, set, shut up.

 • Feathersebrah in Hebrew,  refers to hair-like or fluffy forms that grow on the body and wings of a bird. Feathers keep the bird warm and helps wings to have aerodynamic lift when flying.

Wings , kanaph in Hebrew,  refer to extremity , edge, or over spreading ( see Exodus 25:20 ; 1st Chronicle  6:27 ). The wings of a bird spread out when flying or when covering little ones to protect them from heat or coldness.

Yehovah God is an Eagle ; He protects and watches over us like an 🦅 Eagle –" As an eagle stirreth up her nèst, fluttereth over her young,  spreadeth  abroad her wings, take them, beareth them on her wings : So the LORD alone did lead Israel "(Deuteronomy 32:12 ,  Exodus 19:4)

Eagles  take great care for their little one. Here is an interesting note  by an 🦅 eagle biologist :

 The eagle parents watch their young eaglets continuously during this time, feeding and protecting them from coal, heat, and predators. If the young eaglets were left unattended at the nest , some raccoons, crows, and nocturnal great horned owls could take the small eaglets.  One mama eagle, or both parents eagles, are always either sitting on the nest or perched nearby .

Surely, evil will always lurk in the dark . There will always be raccoons and crows which lie in  wait to prey upon God's children anywhere and anytime, but blessed be the Great Jehovah Eagle for " He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  The LORD is thy keeper : the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.  The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night" (Psalm 121 : 4-6).

Yes, the LORD will  cover and  " hedge in " His little ones from dangers of the cold,  of the winds, of the heat and of the enemies raccoons and crows . His feathers will make you warm and His wings will be stretched to completely cover you .

But what are the feathers and wings of the Lord? They are the Word of God . His Word  is Truth . When it is reviewed to you, your heart can rest on it. Faith in the revelation of the truth is the shield for sons and daughters of God. Each time David was to go in battle he inquired of the LORD asking,  " Shall I go ?" and whenever the LORD gave the Word, the faith of David rested on that, and it is that revealed Word which gave David victory ( 1st Samuel 23 : 1-5 ). Yes, for "God is not a man,  that he should lie ; neither the son of man, that He should repent : hath He said,  and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?" ( Numbers 23:19).  Do, our  faith can rest on God's Word.. But how shall we have faith if our souls are not closed up in the secret place where God speaks His Word?  For " Faith " says apostle Paul,  " cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God " (Romans 10:17) .

 Child of God,  may you sit in His presence to hear His Word which should impart faith in your heart, and " taking the shield of faith ...  you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked" (Ephesians  6:16)

 As in Psalm 41 , abyssus abyssum invocat —"hell brings forth hell," or, in an alternative translation, "the deep calls unto the deep."

 Psalm 41

(For the director of music. A psalm of David.)

1 Blessed are those who have regard for the weak;

    the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.

2 The Lord protects and preserves them—

    they are counted among the blessed in the land—

    he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.

3 The Lord sustains them on their sickbed

    and restores them from their bed of illness.

4 I said, “Have mercy on me, Lord;

    heal me, for I have sinned against you.”

5 My enemies say of me in malice,

    “When will he die and his name perish?”

6 When one of them comes to see me,

    he speaks falsely, while his heart gathers slander;

    then he goes out and spreads it around.

7 All my enemies whisper together against me;

    they imagine the worst for me, saying,

8 “A vile disease has afflicted him;

    he will never get up from the place where he lies.”

9 Even my close friend,

    someone I trusted,

one who shared my bread,

    has turned against me.

10 But may you have mercy on me, Lord;

    raise me up, that I may repay them.

11 I know that youare pleased with me,

    for my enemy does not triumph over me.

12 Because of my integrity you uphold me

    and set me in your presence forever.

13 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,

    from everlasting to everlasting.

Amen and Amen.

The idea of Christians going to heaven directly after death had to come from somewhere.

Let us explore one of those misunderstood verses in the Bible, that many preachers use to convince people that their loved ones are happily in heaven right now.

 https://alladvices.blogspot.com/2021/05/3-what-happens-after-death.html?m=0

Understanding death helps us not to fear it, but also not to welcome or celebrate death as many Christians do.

1) What is Death?

2) Who is in Heaven right now?

3) When shall passed-away Christians go to Heaven?

4) Is Death a Friend or Foe?

5) Apparent contradictions about the Death and Heaven

 Thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night ; nor for the arrow that flieth by day. Nor for the pestilence that walk In darkness ; nor for the destruction that wasted at noonday. A thousand shall fall at your side,  and ten thousand at your right hand ; but it shall not come nigh thee . Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked.( Psalm 91:5–8)

 Keywords : Afraid, night, day

Afraid is "feeling worry about the possible results of a particular situation" (from Cambridge dictionary) .

Night , layil in Hebrew,  is a twist away of (or from ) light. It is characterized by darkness and the darkness makes it difficult to see things around us.

Day refers to day-time,  when  there is light. The light during daytime enables us to see things around us without difficulty.

 There are calamities that  happen as a result of God sending them as a "reward for the wicked"  (Psalm 91:8).  Often God would use natural causes as a weapon of judgement. During the Exodus , in the Old Testament period,  God caused an eastern wind to blow upon the Red Sea to create a path of escape for the Israelites and God used to phenomenon to kill the Egyptians by drowning them.  In the antediluvian world the fountains of the great deep were broken and persistent torrential rains caused a global flood. But Noah and his sons and their wives were saved. The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were burned to ashes as Lot and family got rescued by two angels that visited his family before the destruction. The people of Nineveh had also come close to suffering the judgement of God but were spared when they repented .

The message today is the same, “ Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized , each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."(Acts 2:38).

In all this we should notice that any calamity that is send as "a reward for the wicked" can never harm the righteous believer  because it comes as punishment for wickedness . (Proverbs 12:21, 1st John 5 :18, Proverbs 16:4). However, trouble can come upon a child of God but not for punishment. To  "stubble" fire is a destructive force but to "gold" it is a purifier and perfector.  To the unbeliever the Lord warns that " all that do wickedly, shall be stubble and the day that cometh shall burn them up" (Malachi 4:1), but to the believer God encourages that "the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ"

 (1Peter 1:7) .

 The believer of God has this confidence when God tests him or her through the fire, the Lord God will be his or her strength. " I will be with him in trouble" the Lord promises, " I will deliver him, and honour him"( Psalm' 91:15) even when trouble eventually leads a believer to death as was the case with Elijah and many other servants of God it is never a loss for in a moment they find themselves in a glorious place for which they would never want to return to the suit and there is no matter how the living can be pleading to God to return their loved ones. Little wonder, saint like apostle Paul who had experienced a foretaste of the glorious realm of heaven (2nd Corinthians 12: 2–4) whilst they were alive could boldly look at death in the face and joyfully proclaim, " For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). Surely, " Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints" (Psalms 116 :15)

I will deliver him ¶Psalm 91:14-16 Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he had known My Name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him : I will be with him in trouble; I

 I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my Salvation.

• Love , ( _chashaq_  in Hebrew)  : to cling, that is, join (figuratively) to love, delight in; elliptically to deliver: – have a delight, (have a) desire, fillet, long, set (in) love.

 In the beginning, mankind found himself in a beautiful paradise called the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve had everything – the joy, the peace and abundant prosperity. Everything around them declared the love of the Creator for them. So, although mankind was endowed with _free will_ (choice), the wise thing to do was to surrender (entrust) it back to the Father of good and righteousness. Yes, the security of mankind lay in trusting and living by the wise counsel of the Creator.  Sadly however , God was doubted and man chose to take his own way. But , "there is a way which seems right unto man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Proverbs 14:12).

 Mankind despised the knowledge and counsel of the Creator and so God let him partake (experience) the fruit of the way he chose – "For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of My counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices" (Proverbs 1: 29-31).

Throughout all history, the way of man, has been filled with pain and sorrow.  A few people wake up to the realization of the need to return to the will of God. Unto God they surrender their will and let Him deliver them. And in His mercy and grace, God pours His Spirit into those who repent and receive Him as their Savior. That is the most profound experience one can ever have in this world for it enables them to experience the power that connects them back to the Creator as sons of God and daughters of God – "But as many as received Him , to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His Name: Which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:12-13)

 When one receives the Holy Spirit, he or she gets so filled with loving God that they die to the canal desires of the flesh and begin to be led by the Spirit in their daily lives (Galatians 5:24-25). By being led by the Spirit they can say like Paul said that "I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me" (Galatians 2:20).

 When you are surrendered to God, you become a vessel that can accomplish His holy will and pleasure – "For it is God which working in you both to will and to do of His good purpose and pleasure" (Philippians 2:13).  Each time we do something in the will of God we are doing it in His Name. When a believer receives instruction or revelation from the Lord about a situation or against an evil spirit, he can confidently declare "in the name of the Lord Jesus !" ; Demons will tremble because that believer is standing on grounds of what God has commissioned them to do. There shall be power in the words of such a person for he has known the "name" (that is will, desire, or pleasure of the Lord).

It is a wonderful thing to walk in the Spirit and love of God. Such a life enables you to become one mind with God. Your spirit will so much pulsate with the heartbeat of God that His desires will become your desires. Even when your flesh becomes unaware of what to pray for, there will be something in your deep inner being that will groan and make intercessions in the spirit. –" Likewise the Spirit also help our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself make intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that search the hearts know what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercessions for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:26-27). Is it any strange then that the Lord declares, " He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him" (Psalm 91:15)?

 Saint John  encourages us thus: "And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that,  if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desire of Him" (1st John 5: 14-15).

 The Holy Spirit that dwells in a believer comes with a reward of "long life".  That Spirit is itself eternal life. It shall be one day that all those who walked in the power of the Spirit and fully yielded to His leading, shall one day be changed to immortality:  "Behold, I show you a mystery ;  We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound , and the dead (in Christ) shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible (body) must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality , then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" (1st Corinthians 15 verse 51 to 55)

 Amen

 God is delighted when we love Him supremely

2. Jesus Christ revealed what you can do to make God delightful: In Gospel of Matthew: 22:37-39) “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "

The happiest people in the world is not the wealthy or famous, not the erudite or men of high positions. Happy people are those who found  their hope in God not only for this world but including the world beyond.

 Our joy and happiness is not merely in receiving blessing from God, but in rendering active service to our God and others *out of love* .

Just a honest " thank you"is enough. 🙏🏼

Amplified Bible

Meditations and Prayers Relating to the Law of God.

Aleph.

119:1 How blessed and favored by God are those whose way is blameless [those with personal integrity, the upright, the guileless],

Who walk in the law [and who are guided by the precepts and revealed will] of the Lord.

Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies,

And who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart.

They do no unrighteousness;

They walk in His ways.

You have ordained Your precepts,

That we should follow them with [careful] diligence.

Oh, that my ways may be established

To observe and keep Your statutes [obediently accepting and honoring them]!

Then I will not be ashamed

When I look [with respect] to all Your commandments [as my guide].

I will give thanks to You with an upright heart,

When I learn [through discipline] Your righteous judgments [for my transgressions].

I shall keep Your statutes;

Do not utterly abandon me [when I fail].

Beth.

How can a young man keep his way pure?

By keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to Your precepts].

10

With all my heart I have sought You, [inquiring of You and longing for You];

Do not let me wander from Your commandments [neither through ignorance nor by willful disobedience].

11

Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart,

That I may not sin against You.

12

Blessed and reverently praised are You, O Lord;

Teach me Your statutes.

13

With my lips I have told of

All the ordinances of Your mouth.

14

I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,

As much as in all riches.

15

I will meditate on Your precepts

And [thoughtfully] regard Your ways [the path of life established by Your precepts].

16

I will delight in Your statutes;

I will not forget Your word.

Deal bountifully with Your servant,

That I may live and keep Your word [treasuring it and being guided by it day by day].

18

Open my eyes [to spiritual truth] so that I may behold

Wonderful things from Your law.

19

I am a stranger on the earth;

Do not hide Your commandments from me.

20

My soul is crushed with longing

For Your ordinances at all times.

21

You rebuke the presumptuous and arrogant, the cursed ones,

Who wander from Your commandments.

22

Take reproach and contempt away from me,

For I observe Your testimonies.

23

Even though princes sit and talk to one another against me,

Your servant meditates on Your statutes.

24

Your testimonies also are my delight

And my counselors.

Daleth.

25

My earthly life clings to the dust;

Revive and refresh me according to Your word.

26

I have told of my ways, and You have answered me;

Teach me Your statutes.

27

Make me understand the way of Your precepts,

So that I will meditate (focus my thoughts) on Your wonderful works.

28

My soul dissolves because of grief;

Renew and strengthen me according to [the promises of] Your word.

29

Remove from me the way of falsehood and unfaithfulness,

And graciously grant me Your law.

30

I have chosen the faithful way;

I have placed Your ordinances before me.

31

I cling tightly to Your testimonies;

O Lord, do not put me to shame!

32

I will run the way of Your commandments [with purpose],

For You will give me a heart that is willing.

He.

33

Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes,

And I will [steadfastly] observe it to the end.

34

Give me understanding [a teachable heart and the ability to learn], that I may keep Your law;

And observe it with all my heart.

35

Make me walk in the path of Your commandments,

For I delight in it.

36

Incline my heart to Your testimonies

And not to dishonest gain and envy.

37

Turn my eyes away from vanity [all those worldly, meaningless things that distract—let Your priorities be mine],

And restore me [with renewed energy] in Your ways.

38

Establish Your word and confirm Your promise to Your servant,

As that which produces [awe-inspired] reverence for You.

39

Turn away my reproach which I dread,

For Your ordinances are good.

40

I long for Your precepts;

Renew me through Your righteousness.

Vav.

41

May Your lovingkindness also come to me, O Lord,

Your salvation according to Your promise;

42

So I will have an answer for the one who taunts me,

For I trust [completely] in Your word [and its reliability].

43

And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth,

For I wait for Your ordinances.

44

I will keep Your law continually,

Forever and ever [writing Your precepts on my heart].

45

And I will walk at liberty,

For I seek and deeply long for Your precepts.

46

I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings

And shall not be ashamed.

47

For I shall delight in Your commandments,

Which I love.

48

And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments,

Which I love;

And I will meditate on Your statutes.

Zayin.

49

Remember [always] the word and promise to Your servant,

In which You have made me hope.

50

This is my comfort in my affliction,

That Your word has revived me and given me life.

51

The arrogant utterly ridicule me,

Yet I do not turn away from Your law.

52

I have remembered [carefully] Your ancient ordinances, O Lord,

And I have taken comfort.

53

Burning indignation has seized me because of the wicked,

Who [b]reject Your law.

54

Your statutes are my songs

In the house of my pilgrimage.

55

O Lord, I remember Your name in the night,

And keep Your law.

56

This has become mine [as the gift of Your grace],

That I observe Your precepts [accepting them with loving obedience].

Heth.

57

The Lord is my portion;

I have promised to keep Your words.

58

I sought Your favor with all my heart;

Be merciful and gracious to me according to Your promise.

59

I considered my ways

And turned my feet to [follow and obey] Your testimonies.

60

I hurried and did not delay

To keep Your commandments.

61

The cords of the wicked have encircled and ensnared me,

But I have not forgotten Your law.

62

At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You

Because of Your righteous ordinances.

63

I am a companion of all who [reverently] fear You,

And of those who keep and honor Your precepts.

64

The earth, O Lord, is full of Your lovingkindness and goodness;

Teach me Your statutes.

Teth.

65

You have dealt well with Your servant,

O Lord, according to Your promise.

66

Teach me good judgment (discernment) and knowledge,

For I have believed and trusted and relied on Your commandments.

67

Before I was afflicted I went astray,

But now I keep and honor Your word [with loving obedience].

68

You are good and do good;

Teach me Your statutes.

69

The arrogant have forged a lie against me,

But I will keep Your precepts with all my heart.

70

Their heart is insensitive like fat [their minds are dull and brutal],

But I delight in Your law.

71

It is good for me that I have been afflicted,

That I may learn Your statutes.

72

The law from Your mouth is better to me

Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

Yodh.

73

Your hands have made me and established me;

Give me understanding and a teachable heart, that I may learn Your commandments.

74

May those who [reverently] fear You see me and be glad,

Because I wait for Your word.

75

I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are fair,

And that in faithfulness You have disciplined me.

76

O may Your lovingkindness and graciousness comfort me,

According to Your word (promise) to Your servant.

77

Let Your compassion come to me that I may live,

For Your law is my delight.

78

Let the arrogant be ashamed and humiliated, for they sabotage me with a lie;

But I will meditate on Your precepts.

79

May those who fear You [with submissive wonder] turn to me,

Even those who have known Your testimonies.

80

May my heart be blameless in Your statutes,

So that I will not be ashamed.

Kaph.

81

My soul languishes and grows weak for Your salvation;

I wait for Your word.

82

My eyes fail [with longing, watching] for [the fulfillment of] Your promise,

Saying, “When will You comfort me?”

83

For I have become like a wineskin [blackened and shriveled] in the smoke [in which it hangs],

Yet I do not forget Your statutes.

84

How many are the days of Your servant [which he must endure]?

When will You execute judgment on those who persecute me?

85

The arrogant (godless) have dug pits for me,

Men who do not conform to Your law.

86

All Your commandments are faithful and trustworthy.

They have persecuted me with a lie; help me [Lord]!

87

They had almost destroyed me on earth,

But as for me, I did not [c]turn away from Your precepts.

88

According to Your steadfast love refresh me and give me life,

So that I may keep and obey the testimony of Your mouth.

Lamedh.

89

Forever, O Lord,

Your word is settled in heaven [standing firm and unchangeable].

90

Your faithfulness continues from generation to generation;

You have established the earth, and it stands [securely].

91

They continue this day according to Your ordinances,

For all things [all parts of the universe] are Your servants.

92

If Your law had not been my delight,

Then I would have perished in my time of trouble.

93

I will never forget Your precepts,

For by them You have revived me and given me life.

94

I am Yours, save me [as Your own];

For I have [diligently] sought Your precepts and required them [as my greatest need].

95

The wicked wait for me to destroy me,

But I will consider Your testimonies.

96

I have seen that all [human] perfection has its limits [no matter how grand and perfect and noble];

Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity].

Mem.

97

Oh, how I love Your law!

It is my meditation all the day.

98

Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies,

For Your words are always with me.

99

I have better understanding and deeper insight than all my teachers [because of Your word],

For Your testimonies are my meditation.

100

I understand more than the aged [who have not observed Your precepts],

Because I have observed and kept Your precepts.

101

I have restrained my feet from every evil way,

That I may keep Your word.

102

I have not turned aside from Your ordinances,

For You Yourself have taught me.

103

How sweet are Your words to my taste,

Sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104

From Your precepts I get understanding;

Therefore I hate every false way.

Nun.

105

Your word is a lamp to my feet

And a light to my path.

106

I have sworn [an oath] and have confirmed it,

That I will keep Your righteous ordinances.

107

I am greatly afflicted;

Renew and revive me [giving me life], O Lord, according to Your word.

108

Accept and take pleasure in the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord,

And teach me Your ordinances.

109

My life is continually [d]in my hand,

Yet I do not forget Your law.

110

The wicked have laid a snare for me,

Yet I do not wander from Your precepts.

111

I have taken Your testimonies as a heritage forever,

For they are the joy of my heart.

112

I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes

Forever, even to the end.

Samekh.

113

I hate those who are double-minded,

But I love and treasure Your law.

114

You are my hiding place and my shield;

I wait for Your word.

115

Leave me, you evildoers,

That I may keep the commandments of my God [honoring and obeying them].

116

Uphold me according to Your word [of promise], so that I may live;

And do not let me be ashamed of my hope [in Your great goodness].

117

Uphold me that I may be safe,

That I may have regard for Your statutes continually.

118

You have turned Your back on all those who wander from Your statutes,

For their deceitfulness is useless.

119

You have removed all the wicked of the earth like dross [for they have no value];

Therefore I love Your testimonies.

120

My flesh trembles in [reverent] fear of You,

And I am afraid and in awe of Your judgments.

Ayin.

121

I have done justice and righteousness;

Do not leave me to those who oppress me.

122

Be the guarantee for Your servant for good [as Judah was the guarantee for Benjamin];

Do not let the arrogant oppress me.

123

My eyes fail [with longing, watching] for [the fulfillment of] Your salvation,

And for [the fulfillment of] Your righteous word.

124

Deal with Your servant according to Your [gracious] lovingkindness,

And teach me Your statutes.

125

I am Your servant; give me understanding [the ability to learn and a teachable heart]

That I may know Your testimonies.

126

It is time for the Lord to act;

They have broken Your law.

127

Therefore I love Your commandments more than gold,

Yes, more than refined gold.

128

Therefore I esteem as right all Your precepts concerning everything;

I hate every false way.

Pe.

129

Your testimonies are wonderful;

Therefore my soul keeps them.

130

The unfolding of Your [glorious] words give light;

Their unfolding gives understanding to the simple (childlike).

131

I opened my mouth and panted [with anticipation],

Because I longed for Your commandments.

132

Turn to me and be gracious to me and show me favor,

As is Your way to those who love Your name.

133

Establish my footsteps in [the way of] Your word;

Do not let any human weakness have power over me [causing me to be separated from You].

134

Redeem me from the oppression of man;

That I may keep Your precepts.

135

Make Your face shine [with pleasure] upon Your servant,

And teach me Your statutes.

136

My eyes weep streams of water

Because people do not keep Your law.

Tsadhe.

137

Righteous are You, O Lord,

And upright are Your judgments.

138

You have commanded Your testimonies in righteousness

And in great faithfulness.

139

My zeal has [completely] consumed me,

Because my enemies have forgotten Your words.

140

Your word is very pure (refined);

Therefore Your servant loves it.

141

I am small and despised,

But I do not forget Your precepts.

142

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,

And Your law is truth.

143

Trouble and anguish have found me,

Yet Your commandments are my delight and my joy.

144

Your righteous testimonies are everlasting;

Give me understanding [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] that I may live.

Qoph.

145

I cried with all my heart; answer me, O Lord!

I will observe Your statutes.

146

I cried to You; save me

And I will keep Your testimonies.

147

I rise before dawn and cry [in prayer] for help;

I wait for Your word.

148

My eyes anticipate the night watches and I awake before the call of the watchman,

That I may meditate on Your word.

149

Hear my voice according to Your [steadfast] lovingkindness;

O Lord, renew and refresh me according to Your ordinances.

150

Those who follow after wickedness approach;

They are far from Your law.

151

You are near, O Lord,

And all Your commandments are truth.

152

Of old I have known from Your testimonies

That You have founded them forever.

Resh.

153

Look upon my agony and rescue me,

For I do not forget Your law.

154

Plead my cause and redeem me;

Revive me and give me life according to [the promise of] Your word.

155

Salvation is far from the wicked,

For they do not seek Your statutes.

156

Great are Your tender mercies and steadfast love, O Lord;

Revive me and give me life according to Your ordinances.

157

Many are my persecutors and my adversaries,

Yet I do not turn away from Your testimonies.

158

I see the treacherous and loathe them,

Because they do not respect Your law.

159

Consider how I love Your precepts;

Revive me and give me life, O Lord, according to Your lovingkindness.

160

The sum of Your word is truth [the full meaning of all Your precepts],

And every one of Your righteous ordinances endures forever.

Shin.

161

Princes persecute me without cause,

But my heart stands in [reverent] awe of Your words [so I can expect You to help me].

162

I rejoice at Your word,

As one who finds great treasure.

163

I hate and detest falsehood,

But I love Your law.

164

[e]Seven times a day I praise You,

Because of Your righteous ordinances.

165

Those who love Your law have great peace;

Nothing makes them stumble.

166

I hope and wait [with complete confidence] for Your salvation, O Lord,

And I do Your commandments.

167

My soul keeps Your testimonies [hearing and accepting and obeying them];

I love them greatly.

168

I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies,

For all my ways are [fully known] before You.

Tav.

169

Let my [mournful] cry come before You, O Lord;

Give me understanding [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] according to Your word [of promise].

170

Let my supplication come before You;

Deliver me according to Your word.

171

Let my lips speak praise [with thanksgiving],

For You teach me Your statutes.

172

Let my tongue sing [praise for the fulfillment] of Your word,

For all Your commandments are righteous.

173

Let Your hand be ready to help me,

For I have chosen Your precepts.

174

I long for Your salvation, O Lord,

And Your law is my delight.

175

Let my soul live that it may praise You,

And let Your ordinances help me.

176

I have gone astray like a lost sheep;

Seek Your servant, for I do not forget Your commandments.
