What WHOLE FOODS?

What is your body's fuel? If you put(eat) correct fuel(foods) in your car(body), it will run (live) better. We cannot expect our bodies to be in tip-top shape if you put in food that has little nutritional value-low-grade fuel.

Defining Whole Foods:
The food must be the whole, unprocessed food - nothing has been taken away; it can be a food directly derived from a whole food, as long as the derivative contains all or most of the nutrients of the original.

The food contains no artificial substances - nothing has been added.No even a trace.

The food's effect on the health of the body is positive.

In short, eat as the nature provide or produce. The entire food. means it has not been processed, preserved, refined, frozen, canned, polished, bleached, peeled or otherwise stripped of nutrients. All nutrients must be present simultaneously for the body to have perfect digestion and utility at all time. Water consists at least 80%-90%. No water, no result.

,so they say: FRUIT HAS THE HIGHEST WATER CONTENT OF ANY FOOD. All fruit is 80% to 90% cleansing, life-giving water. With that amount of it own water content your human body's energy reserve is never taxed at all, but rather been replenish after the whole processes of eating it.

WISH was set up in year 2005 by Dr Adrian Yeo. Then, Dr Adrian Yeo was a PhD candidate under the Temasek Program for Sustainable Water, working on a thesis in water production using membrane technology. Chronic Pain :What Does It Signify?

Back pain , as everyone knows, is a devastating chronic pain of the human body.
The other chronic joint pain of the body --rheumatoid arthritis -- is also another devastating experience for all its victims.

A news item in the 31 July 1990 Health section of "The Washington Post" gave me sufficient emotional shock to restructure this book (HOW TO DEAL WITH BACK PAIN & RHEUMATOID JOINT PAIN), which was at that time already in the printer's hands.

A 47-year-old child psychiatrist had been suffering from severe rheumatoid arthritis for some time. She had been given the customary medications until she had developed addiction, apparently, and the combination of addiction and pain had totally incapacitated her. She had a daughter of 17, who was brain-damaged and asthmatic, and a son who was bright. The stress in the family setting had become so great that even the housekeeper suffered a heart attack. the psychiatrist's husband, himself a doctor and a prominent cancer researcher, eventually found the situation unbearable enough that he took the lives of his wife and two children and then committed suicide.

To my mind, this tragedy -- along with similar, daily-occurring tragedies -- stemmed from a most absurd ignorance and the "ostrich" policy of those involved in the politics of medicine. The scientific knowledge that can offer simple solutions to major health problems -- most particularly, at a preventable stage that would not cause severe genetic damage -- does exist.

For the innocent and trusting sick to benefit from the solutions offered within the science of human physiology, medicine will need a change of stand by some key policy-makers and the government administrators of health who support the present commercial attitude of the health-care industry; medical professionals will need to give support to alternative ideas and the more plausible science-based solutions to the health problems of the sick. This change of attitude might not serve the profit motivations of the industrial and commercial arms of the health-care institutions, but it should be remembered that simple, nature-serving solutions to major health problems are less costly to the society they are OBLIGATED to serve.

The Cell. Let us take a look at the most basic life-generating element in the human body, the cell. The cell is surrounded by a very thin outer "skin" or membrane that protects it from being flooded by unregulated entry of water, salt, sugar, fats, and many other elements that constitute the serum solution that is outside the cell wall.

Since the cell is constantly bathed in serum solution, it regulates its intake and output by means of many, many small 'pumping units'. Fluid inside the cells should be neutral, neither too acidic nor too alkaline; it has a pH (potential of hydrogen)
of 7.4 under normal circumstances.* The way this neutral pH is maintained is very simple: the 'cation(cat-i-on) pumps' constantly pump out hydrogen ion, which is the acid substance not used by the cell. The entire human body -- nerve, bone, cartilage, ligament, muscle, blood, brain, you name it -- is made up of these tiny cells, each performing this regulation of intake and output of elements to maintain function. Each cell is just like an underwater city, with canal systems and waterways; outside of it, arteries and veins are its highways.

*7.4 is the level of reading on a scale designed to measure the degree of acidity. From 1 to 7 is the acid range; 1 being more acid than 7. From 7 to 14 on the scale is the alkaline range; 7 is less alkaline than 14. On the pH scale, 7 is neutral.

Water and Life

The most important life-giving substance in the human body, and one that the human body desperately depends on is WATER. In the soft tissues -- muscle, liver, kidneys, the intestines, small and big -- 75 percent of the volume of the cells is water.

The human brain cell is said to be 85 percent water. Headaches and migraine are sign of water loss. The first impact of dehydration is felt by the brain cells; they are very sensitive to water loss from the human body and their functions would be affected by even minute changes in their water contents. The above figures roughly represent a normal, healthy state of function. The blood and fluids outside the cells consists of approximately 94 percent water.

WATER has the urge and determination to flow from solutions at lower concentration to solutions at higher concentration when these solutions are separated by a thin membrane. When the concentration of water is 94% outside the cell and 75% inside the cell, there is a tendency for water to flow across the cell membrane into the cell. This difference of 19 % acts somewhat like the water-head of a hydroelectric dam. Nature has designed a simple mechanism of providing each cell with hydroelectric power. It uses this 19% difference in water levels to generate electricity inside the cell. In the same way that height of water over the turbine generators of a hydroelectric dam turns the generators and creates electricity, at the cell wall barrier, water turns the cation pumps and generates electricity.

Since all nerve transmissions depend in a major way on hydroelectric energy of water, insufficient water intake can also cause a chronic fatigue state of the human body.

Unintentional-Prolonged-Dehydration...

causes stroke. Stroke is one of the many survival mechanism/modes of the human body to cannibalize/recycle it own self due to unintentional-prolonged-dehydration. The percentage of water loss in the blood cells is the least among all other cells in the body and hence blood test/analysis is near impossible. Once stroke happened the limbs cells will be sacrificed , their water-content wise, to be recycled and sent to service the more important organs such as the Brain. The present approach to use invasive and surgeries to remove blood clot in the brain is only temporary, because mainstream medical societies still hold to the old "solid" paradigm in their troubleshooting procedures.

2.She suffered a stroke (2nd one) on May 12,2008 and was taken to National Neuroscience Institute for an urgent brain scan, which revealed bleeding in the right side of the brain.

3.She suffered a stroke (1st one) in 2003 while in London, on a European tour. The bleeding was also in the right side of the brain.

Know Water

Let no one water down the truth about water-cure protocol. We must know the basic of the water outside and inside our bodies.

Water has some unusual properties. For example, instead of contracting or shrinking in mass as it freezes, as most liquids do, water contracts only until it reaches 4 degrees Centigrade.
In Fahrenheit, (4 x 9/5) + 36/5 + 32 = 39.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

Water then begins to expand until it reaches its freezing point of zero(0) degree C (32 degrees F) = 273 degrees Kelvin (K). If this did not happen, lakes would freeze completely and kill all the plant and animal life in the lakes.

This expansion can create a great force on surrounding objects. A scaled glass jar filled with water left outdoors in freezing weather will break as the water freezes. Because water in the form of ice is lighter than water in the form of liquid, ice floats in water.
Air-conditioner occupants, beware of the coldness in your room. Your body is trying hard to maintain its normal body temperature to work best. When you eat cold food or drink cold liquids/water, your body spend its own energy to bring up the temperature for digestion, and likewise when you eat or drink hot stuffs, your body again spend its energy to lower (cool) the temperature for digestion. Therefore the final accounting of energy gain or loss is also affected by the temperature of your food or liquids/water. Warning: carbonated drink is made by removing the hydrogen of water and pump in artificial nitrogen gases.

Even when water appears to be calm and still, all water in nature , including in your body, is in continual motion.

The exchange of water between the earth and the air is the hydrologic cycle. 'Hydrologic' comes from Greek - hydro means "having to do with water," and loge means "knowledge of." Water do carry message/knowledge. Pure water carry pure knowledge, while polluted water carry "polluted knowledge".
The hydrologic cycle is a natural, constantly running vapourizing and pumping system.
As a cycle, this flow has no beginning and no end. No water is lost or gained -- it simply changes form. The molecules of water, H2O, in the world's oceans, lakes, and atmosphere today are the same molecules that were formed since the beginning of creation.

Planet earth is a vast reservoir, containing about 861 million cubic miles of water. (A cubic mile of water equals 1.1 trillion gallons).
The relative distribution of the world's water supply is Land 25%, Water 75%;
Salt water 97.5%, Ice caps and glaciers 1.97%, Fresh water available for use 0.52%, other 0.01%; Ground water 96%, Surface water 4%(Oceans, lakes, rivers).

We usually think that dust is thoroughly dry, but even the dust clouds stirred up by passing vehicles on a dirt road may contain up to 15 percent water by weight. However, no plants could grow on that dirt road because the soil holds a small amount of moisture SO STRONGLY that plant roots cannot get it out. Likewise when our body is dehydrated, the blood vessels hold so strongly to its own water, it would not service the cells it supposed to when the need arises. And to reservice these blood cells, the body has to activate "hypertension" instead of the normal diffusion under well-hydrated condition,thus bring about the term "high-blood-pressure". Just ensure your body receive its sufficient water daily, it will shut down the hypertension mode and return to normal diffusion.

Diameter of hydrogen atom is 0.1 nm. (nm = nano, means 1 X 10 to the power of -9).
Normal diffusion of water is 0.001 cm per second. Hence the reason the water cure protocol adopt regular hydration for the body, at every 90 minute. Unlike a camel which can drink for advance need for the long journey in desert, human body function best with just sufficient, neither "flooding", nor "droughting" it.

Of the 1.2 billion cubic kilometres of water on the planet Earth, only 3 percent (36 million cubic kilometers) is fresh water.

"Fat bomb" ticking away in Australia!

News in Singapore, The Straits Times,Saturday,June 21,2008.
Roger Maynard, Australia Correspondent in Sydney reports:

Obesity-related health issues could cost the country S$7.8 billion. Study shows Australia now has a higher proportion of obese people than the United States of America.
Study entitled "Australia's Future Fat Bomb", 9 million adults are now rated as overweight. Four(4)million of those adults have been officially declare obese.
That works out to 26 per cent of the adult population, 1 per cent more than the Americans.

Author of the study is Professor Simon Stewart, Head of Preventive Cardiology at Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute in Melbourne.
The so-called "fat bomb" could causes 123,000 pre-mature deaths over the next 20 years, put an additional 700,000 people into hospital with heart attacks, strokes and blood clots as well as cost the health service a staggering A$6 billion (S$7.8 billion).

Fast food and a general decline in physical activity are identified as the key factors in the obesity epidemic.

And the solution? Remedy ??

(1.Continuous walking program for all affected. 2.Adopt water-cure protocol. 3.Sea-salt usage.)

A comprehensive national public health maintenance strategy cannot come too soon. It is a sad reality for any nation facing a growing "fat-people-bomb" explosion.

The study says that those most at risk of premature death are 70 per cent of men aged between 45 and 64, and 60 per cent of women in the same age group.

Obesity epidemic poses the biggest risk to any country's future health and wealth, threatening an overwhelming number of weight-related hospitalisation cases and cost ranging from knees affliction / replacements to heart attacks.

Water Metabolism

Your human body is about 70 percent water, just like the surface of the earth. Fluids are essential to all bodily functions since they provide moisture, nourishment, and cooling.
In Chinese Medicine, Water metabolism in the human body is governed by the three(3) systems of the Triple Heater, or "San Jiao". Each system -- the Upper, Middle, and Lower Jiao -- deals with a different area of the human body and ensure that food essences are properly separated and the fluids distributed to the correct tissues.

The Fluid Route. The lungs, stomach, spleen, kidneys, and bladder metabolize fluids.
The fluids and water you drink pour into the stomach, where they start to be processed.

Fluids enter the stomach where they are processed with the help of the spleen. Water needs heat to be transformed. The Yang energy of the kidneys provides the heat for all the transformative functions of the human body. This heat acts on the fluids, and they are distilled into pure fluids that rise up to the lungs (the Pure) and thick fluids that descend to the kidneys and bladder. Here, further separation takes place and the waste (the Impure) is excreted by the bladder. The lungs distribute the processed fluids to the skin, where some is lost as sweat, and send the rest to the channels and organs.

TRIPLE HEATER
"SAN JIAO" . The Triple Heater is not a tangible physical organ, just like the pericardium (Xin Bao) which acts as the outer protective layer of the human heart; instead, San Jiao is a set of functions that distributes heat and water around the human body.

The pathways through which these processes take place are described as the Triple Heater or San Jiao. This is a way of dividing the human body into the three (3) areas where fluid transformations occur.
1.The Upper Jiao (described as cloud) consists of the Lungs, Heart, head, chest, diaphragm, and arms.
2.The Middle Jiao (referred to as a bubbling cauldron/pot) is the Stomach, Spleen, Liver, Gall Bladder, epigastrium, and hypochondrium.
3.The Lower Jiao (termed a drainage ditch) is the Kidneys, Bladder, Large Intestine, Small Intestine, uterus, legs and genitals.
The fluids and water you drink pour into the Stomach, where they start to be processed. Daily sufficiency of water for the optimal functions of all the organs in the human body is of utmost importance in order for the body to maintain its own stress-free health. Shortage of quality and quantity of water and fluids in one's daily diet is the first and primary cause of any body pain and diseases.

Water Metabolism Problems.
(1)UPPER JIAO. LUNG DEFICIENCY. Symptoms: Shortness of breath, many colds, mucus, stuffy or tight feeling in chest, cough, sneezing (achooo!achooi!) or wheezing (asthma), feeling the cold, puffy face or hands, pale complexion.

(2)MIDDLE JIAO. SPLEEN DEFICIENCY. Symptoms: Bloating of the abdomen, swollen breasts, nausea or poor appetite, diarrhea, tiredness.

(3)LOWER JIAO. KIDNEYS COLD. Symptoms: Frequent urination of lots of clear fluid, the need to urinate at night, chronic low backache, feeling cold, water retention in the lower body, pale complexion.

KIDNEYS HOT. Symptoms: Scanty dark urine, dull low backache, feeling hot and sweaty, thirsty, flushed cheeks.

DAMP-COLD IN THE BLADDER. Symptoms: Urinary urgency and frequency, feeling of pressure and heaviness over bladder, difficulty in urinating, urine pale and cloudy.

DAMP-HEAT IN THE BLADDER. Symptoms: Urinary urgency and frequency, urination interrupted or painful, dark and cloudy urine, possibly with blood, fever (in severe cases).

Water Cure Protocol.
Every 90 minute, drink 10% of the daily water-quota amount which is calculated by multiplying your present body weight (in kilogram) with 31.42 mL. Use 1/4 teaspoon of sea-salt for every 1250 mL of water drank.

Continuos Walking has Cumulative Effect

A few years ago, the Swedish army did a field test on a company of soldiers that was taken on a three-week march. At repeated intervals, blood samples were taken and various tests were done to monitor the impact of marching on the body physiology of the soldiers. They discovered that after an hour's march, the same hormone-sensitive lipase became active and stayed in the circulation for no less than twelve(12)hours. They also discovered that continuous walking had a cumulative effect ; the activity of the enzyme-lipase could be measured around the clock and in a much pronounced way.

In effect, the outcome of this experiment indicates that two sessions of daily walks would program the human body into a round-the-clock (24 hours) fat-burning mode. CANCER FORMATION

This major health problem of our modern society can be scientifically explained why chronic unintentional dehydration is the primary cause of pain and disease in the human body, including cancer.
Persistent dehydration produces a drastic multi system disturbance and dysfunction in the entire physiology of the body and causes four major disruptions that ultimately and collectively allow for cancer formation and the invasive growth of the new tissue.

Excess CALCIUM has VERY SERIOUS ...

Many sales pitch tout about calcium with bones diseases. The excess calcium in the human body has some very serious consequences.

EXCESS CALCIUM (HIGH-CALCIUM) DIET CAUSES BONES PROBLEMS. How ?

Inorganic calcium comes from soil that plants absorb and incorporate into their structure. Only plants can transform inorganic minerals, calcium being one of them, into organic minerals which is suitable for human and animals consumption. That is nature's design and plain fact.

The people in general have been, and it is time we wake up and don't be, misled by shameless commercial interests.
The human body needs twice as much calcium as magnesium, but most people consume far more calcium than that. Because there is so much more calcium in our diet than magnesium. It's been shown that, when the average person's total calcium intake is lessened, more calcium is actually utilizable because of the closer balance with magnesium. How do that grab you?

A low-calcium diet may actually help guard you against osteoporosis. Too much calcium (high-calcium cow milk, HL brand and other brands / pasteurised milk ) on the other hand, blocks the absorption of magnesium. And dairy products, which are high in calcium and phosphorus, are a very poor source of magnesium.

As a point of interest, besides phosphorus, another mineral much involved with calcium utilization is magnesium. Magnesium is needed for the absorption of calcium. Magnesium is used by the human body to transport calcium to the bones. Calcium primary metabolic function acts as a second messenger within cells, linking external stimuli acting on cells to the specific, internal responses a cell is able to make (e.g., nerve signals and muscle contraction).

If you had to cross a river and had no boat, you couldn't get to the other side. Even if you brought ten more people to the shore with you, you still would be in need of a boat. The extra people would do you no good. There would just be eleven people more stranded instead of one. So it is with magnesium and calcium.
Without the magnesium to transport the calcium to the bones, you can swallow a bucketful of calcium to no avail. It will circulate in your body, with no,proverbial magnesium "boat" to take the "people"-calcium to its destination, and settle in the soft tissues, causing the many health problems such as osteoporosis, brittle bones, hip fractures.

The excess calcium in the human body has some very serious consequences.
When calcium is lost from the bones, it is not just eliminated from the body. This excess calcium in the body is picked up by the blood and deposited in the soft tissues -- the blood vessels, skin, eyes, joints, and internal organs. Excess calcium combines with fats and cholesterol in the blood vessels to cause hardening of the arteries. This excess calcium that ends up in the skin causes wrinkling. In the joints, this excess calcium crystallizes and forms very painful arthritis deposits. In the eyes, this excess calcium takes the form of cataracts. We are ceaselessly being beseech ed to consume dairy products to combat osteoporosis, while dairy products are a major cause of osteoporosis. Osteoporosis has become a US$5 billion (still counting) in the United States alone. The calcium supplement pushers are in proverbial heaven, laughing to the banks. Practically out of the clear blue sky comes this windfall of millions (still counting) of women and men who have been whipped into a frenzy of fear, clamouring for calcium. All of a sudden, calcium supplementation is the latest sling tool for products. It used to be "new and improved", now it is "with calcium added" --- magic words to make the cash registers ring. You can get antacids with calcium, laxatives with calcium, soft drinks with calcium, bread with calcium, cereal with calcium, worse is --- baby cereal with fortified calcium, flour with calcium, vitamin pills with calcium. I am waiting for one of those car salesmen come screaming, "Hurry! on down and take advantage of these prices !!" to conclude with "... and the first five hundred people to buy a car this weekend will get a sack of powdered calcium thrown in."

These calcium supplements do more harm than good to the human body. Most of these supplements are cooked bone meal or dolomite, and many contain harmful amounts of lead, arsenic, mercury and other toxic metals. (Source : Roberts.H. " Potential Toxicity Due to Dolomite and Bone-meal." Southern Medical Journal, Vol76, 1983,p.556) The natural source of dolomite, if you need, is eat fresh pineapples. Non-processed fresh fruits have distilled water, organic mineral and other trace elements, all just right and nice for all human and animals diet, any time and any place.

"The calcium losing effect of protein on the human body is not an area of controversy in scientific circles. The many studies performed during the past fifty-five years consistently show that the most important dietary change that we can make if we want to create a positive calcium balance that will keep our bones solid is to decrease the amount of protein we eat each day. Look at the expense of meat, dairy products and calcium supplements. If huge numbers of people were to find out the truth and start to rely less and less on these advertised products and more and more on natural sources of natural organic calcium -- fruit, vegetables, nuts, and seeds -- it would present great economic hardship to these industries. Your body's economy is more important than the said industries' economies. Perhaps you are in the said industries; MLM wellness/supplements industry. I know it is sad that it has to come down to profits versus health, but we are talking here about a monumentally vast amount of money. Let us not be naive. People will compromise themselves for the old green $$$stuff, and there is no better example of that than the attempt by the dairy industry and it's hired mouthpieces to convince you to continue using its products despite a mountain of evidence proving they contribute to osteoporosis! Prove to yourself, if you are suffering from bone related sickness, just quit dairy products, and the affliction will also quit from your body.

Cereal for babies?

As far the practice of giving little babies cereal at an early age, which most pediatricians and nutritionists still recommend, know this : Your child(ren) have no ptyalin, the enzyme necessary to break down starches, until around the age of eighteen (18) months. One year and six months. Babies cannot metabolize starches before then. That's another reason why we see so many little citizens with clogged or runny noses. Young modern mothers take note .baked bread, cereal, potatoes and all cookies and chips will clog the babies up. Keep the babies on fruits and vegetables as long as you can, after weaning them from breast milk. Babies do not need nearly the variety we, adults, feel they MUST have. Don't introduce a whole bunch of new foods at once. One at a time with several days spacing is fine. Children , babies are little people; little people need real people food.

Stay away from starchy, salty, 'dead-inducing "baby"' foods. Take their fruits and blend it for them fresh until the children have enough teeth to chew.Make blended salads. Blend avocado with a little water. All fruits are well-balanced with organic-elements and ionic minerals which are best for body building without stress. Children and babies will love the fresh, real flavours and they will thrive.

Dear parents, the longer you delay introducing cooked foods, the better. Introducing cooked foods or factory-packaged 'baby edibles' too early leads to allergies and childhood obesity. As the baby's body cells multiply, grows , remember the daily water quota, 31.42 ml of water for every 1 kilogram. Regular rehydration of 10% of total daily water quota, every 90 minutes is ideal.
Avoid giving children or babies animal protein for as long as you can. Remember that mother's milk is only 2 percent protein. They are pushing that vested interest propaganda on you, and that hurts you and it hurts your children and babies. Fruits and vegetables are the most ideal foods in a young body's diet.
Wait as long as you can to introduce starches, and start with cooked potatoes (non-genetic modified) and yams.

I discovered the importance of water and salt to the human body in June of 1997 when I failed a medical for renewing my commercial flying license. My pressure at rest was 230/110. HFMD outbreak in Singapore is much concern to all of us, parents and preschooler care-givers island wide.
Stepped up hygiene standards and checks on the young charges will not solve the present HFMD outbreak. My suggestion, based on human body physiology study, is to remind and monitor the children's daily water intake. daily amount to be calculated using each child's body weight.
1.Every 1 kilogram of body weight needs at least 31.42 of water. Example, if your child weighs 30 kilogram now, then 942.62 ml of water is needed per day. Round it up to 950 ml for easy monitor purpose.
2.Spread this daily amount into ten equals portions, 95 ml each portion.
3.Drink each portion at the interval of 90 minutes.
4.Do use a pinch of sea salt for the water drank. For every 1250 ml (of water) drank, you can use 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt.

To all parents, pre-schoolers care-givers and young students, I say, do not fear, just remember to drink sufficient water everyday. i am not advocating "drink lots of water" general statement. But, I am specific about the amount, please follow the calculation given above.

I have wrote to the press, but the health correspondent says this is not from the "expert says". You can try and see the result yourself and decide for prevent the outbreak among us.

If there's anything everyone wants, it is pure water. Of course fresh air is first element of health. No one wants impure water, yet most people drink anything but pure water. I hope and appeal to the doctors and media to educate the general public to correct body re hydration to prevent further complications of human body degeneration caused by primary (first) etiology of cellular dehydration.

Secondly, I apologise if I have seem to give the impression to anyone that this water cure protocol is without scientific evidence. But the evidences are plentiful from the many positive results from responders who were on drugs therapies then and later adopt this proven water cure protocol. I am not selling any products to the public, but just to highlight to them the underlying cause of their body suffering and signs/ symptoms manifestations. That scientific cause is persistence-unintentional-dehydration.

Thirdly, the formula of water drank per day, which I have shared with you and public is logical and scientific calculation for every individual in respect to individual present body weight. This is my third e-mail to The Straits times in respond to the HFMD outbreak in Singapore since 17 April, 2008. I still remember Sharmaine Lee, 7 years old girl, hardest-hit victim, suffered brain damage.

The rising reported cases emphatically shows stepped up hygiene standards and checks on the young charges are not enough steps to arrest the crisis, hence will not solve this present outbreak problems.
Not giving up easily, I appeal again to the press, to make known or forward the "water cure protocol" to all doctors, public health administrators, public and childcare centers for serious consideration and scrutiny and immediate application to stamp the HFMD outbreak. Only the positive result after the application will prove the validity of this "solvent paradigm"/water-cure protocol to combat dehydration related symptoms such as HFMD. I am not advocating 'drink lots of water' general statement here. But I am specific, to remind and monitor the children's daily hydration or water intake, in respect to each child's body weight. Sufficient quantity and regularity is the key here.
To all parents, pre-scholars, care-givers and young students, I say do not fear, just remember to drink sufficient water everyday. I repeat below the measurement to use for each case, for your perusal.

The rule of thumb is : Drink at least 1 ounce of water for every 2 pounds of the child's body weight. Metric equivalent is use 31.42 ml of water for every 1 kilogram of the child's body weight. And for every 314.2 ml of water drank, mix 6/100 (0.06)teaspoon of sea salt into it.

Formula:
1.The child's body weight, say, 10 kg.
2.Water intake per day, 10 x 31.42 = 314.2 ml. Round up to 315 ml.
3.Mix 6/100 (or 0.06) teaspoon of sea salt (do not use table salt) into every 315 ml water drank. Note: Table salt has nothing in common with natural salt, biophysics proven.
4.Each portion to drink is 315 ml divided into 10 equal parts, that is 31.5 ml.
5.Drink one portion 31.5 ml upon arising every morning and follow up with one portion every 90 minutes interval. Regularity is the key.

Well, human beings can't agree on all findings. In any social cause community, especially in public health issues, there are people who strive for purity. Polycythemia; Hypertension (How Water Cure)

Several months ago I finished reading your fascinating book "Your Body's many Cries for Water." I truly have to say that I couldn't put it down until I finished reading it. Several of my friends and family members have also read it. My brother who has some medical background, has also read it, and he found it very interesting.

I have a medical condition called Polycythemia Vera. My body produces too many red blood cells. i am on medication called hydroxyurea. Also from time to time they have to do a phlebotomy on me. I was diagnosed with this illness about nine years ago when I was 33 years old, but my doctor said that probably I had the illness several years before that. It is a rare illness usually occuring in much older people. People of my age usually do not have this illness. Nobody knows what causes this illness. I was told perhaps stress has something to do with it. Also, I used to be a security guard for several years and I worked in factories and industrial sites and perhaps I was exposed to some chemicals or toxic materials. Over the years my condition seemed to get slightly worse. i was put on hydroxyurea. The use of hydroxyrea over an extended period of time can lead in some cases of leukemia and other illnesses.

About eight months ago I read your book and I started drinking more water. I drink about 80 ounces a day. Over the years I have also suffered from hypertension and I was under a lot of pressure from my doctor to go on high blood pressure medication. At first, my blood pressure was borderline but it seemed to be getting worse. I resisted as long as I could about taking the high blood pressure medication, but I don't think that I could have resisted much longer. I started drinking 80 ounces of water a day eight months ago. Now my blood pressure is totally normal. As a matter of fact, during my last checkup one of the nurses joked that I have the blood pressure of a teenager.

As far as my Polycythemia Vera is concerned there has also been an improvement. As I mentioned above my condition seemed to be getting slightly worse. I started drinking more water eight months ago. Now my condition seems to be improving. Every three month or so I go for a check up and each time they take a sample of my blood for laboratory tests. Among the things they test for, my brother told me, is something called RDW. As best as I can explain what my brother has told me, RDW shows how healthy my cells are, whether they mutated or not. If they mutate enough, this can lead to leukemia and other medical conditions. This RDW measurement had also been getting slightly worse. The RDW number is now totally normal.

Soon I ask my doctor whether gradually I can be taken off the medication and rely more on phlebotomy. Both my doctor and my brother have talked about me doing this.

I have describes as best as I could both of my medical conditions and how by drinking more water they have both improve significantly. It is a shame that the medical establishment does not take the drinking of larger amounts of water mores seriously. I only wish I would have known about all of this many years ago. I do know that I will tell my friends and relatives about this. I wish i could do much more in helping you promote your theories.
