the power of the third pull

nothing that we intend to bring new in any way, but just to remember.  Maybe go back over the things that God has given us. And I wanted to minister this morning on the power of the third pull.

The power of the third pull

And we know that Revelations 10:1-7 and Revelation 8:1 are tied together.

Revelation 10:1, And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

And sware by Him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

And we know that in Revelation 8:1 is the opening of the seventh seal. But in the opening of the seventh seal, there was silence. Nothing was declared.

There was no symbol form. Nothing was spoken. And when we get over here to Revelation 10:1,  when the mighty angel lifted up his hands in the heavens, seven thunders uttered their voices. And John heard those seven thunders, what the seven thunders said, and he was about to write because he was told in the beginning of this book and the beginning of the commission to "write what thou has seen and put it in a book." And so he was writing down according to what he's been told. He hears the seven thunders and he knows   what they're saying. So we know that the seven thunders was speaking something. There was something being said because John was going to write down what the seven thunders had uttered. And when he was getting ready to write it down, a voice from heaven said,"Write it not, but seal it up."

So now we know that that Revelation 8:1 and Revelation 10 1-7 are tied together.

 They're both silent. Something's open. There's a revelation that's sealed.

There's something there. It's not that they're empty. They're not empty. There's something there, but what is there is sealed. Shh. Don't say it. It's a secret. Seal it. It's there. It's spoken, but it's not open. It's open.

It's there, but it's secret.

Can you see the conundrum of the seventh seal? There's something to it. There's something.  It's something solid. It's something real. It's something that John could have wrote down. It was something that was under the seal. It's not   that they peeled open the seal and looked at it and there was nothing there. There's something fantastic there. But it's in silence. So we must just let the Lord lead us into this. That's why the only way to ever get this message is by revelation.

We could stand up all the time and try to connect the dots and put the pieces together, and we could say the things the prophet said, and share what we think it means and what we believe it to be. But unless God will quicken in your heart, there's no way for you to see what's laying under the  silence. Because if not, we'll go to all kinds of things and say, "Oh, it's this and it's that and it's this piece and it's that piece and this bit of information and this bit." But really, there's a great mystery laying under that. And the great  mystery is a person. It is the person of the Word. It is the person of Jesus Christ.

So, we'll get to this as we move forward. Brother Branham says in the message, "What Is The Attraction On The Mountain?" He said, "I've got my mind set on this message. That's the third pool, and it's the one I must be loyal and reverent to." We know brother Branham had come through this time in his ministry and he come here after the opening of the seals and I believe here he was talking about some matters in the church on the tapes and who's going to have the bid for the contract to make the tapes and he said the trustees will take care of that. I have nothing to do with it.

And then he comes to this and he says I've got my mind set on this message. That's the third pull.

And so the end time message is the third pull and it's the one I must be loyal and reverent to. From brother Branham, everything came down to this third pull.

And so I want to go back and I want to look at the third pull and and I know a lot of this will be review for the majority of you, but let's just review it. This is our life. You know how you know you have so many things that are wonderful in your life and exciting and you just talk about it all the time and you talk about to everybody you come in contact with and you've talked about it already with your family but you'll talk about it with them again. You spoke about it Tuesday night at dinner but Thursday night you talk about the same subject because you're excited about it because it's your life. It's where you're at.

That's what this is to us. This is where we are at. This is our life. This is everything.

And there's a message that Brother Branham preached in on New Year's Day, January 1st, 1956. And he talks about  why are people so tossed about? And here he begins talking about the three pulls.

And he says here ,"The angel of the Lord taking me out then and taking me to a real bright stream of water. It was most beautiful blue water.

Great fish were swimming around in it and said,"I will make you a fisher." So now cast your lure into the water and when you do, pull it slow first time and the next time just give it a little jerk, not too hard and the next time set your hook for the catch. So the premise of the vision is about fishing.

And He's showing him that there's going to be three pulls or the pull of the lure. And he said on that last one he said set your hook for the catch.

So, if we could just just let the cat out of the bag right from the beginning.

God never intended to catch the prized fish on the first or second pull. That was never His intention. He knew all along that it would take that third pull to catch the fish.

The fish that he would after. You could catch fish on the second pull. And we'll find that here in the message. Amen. But not the fish he was targeting.  He says, "And I started to throw my line in the water. I pulled and everybody began rejoicing and saying, "That's wonderful. That's wonderful." I got all excited and I jerked it hard on the next one. That's the second pull. And I pulled the fish and all out of the water. And what it was, it was a little bitty fish and it just about the size of the lure. And I got my line all tangled up and I was straightening out my line ...  timed pull, he got excited because was, it was a little bitty fish and it just about the size of the lure. And I got my line all tangled up and I was straightening out my line. So on the second pool, he got excited because if if you read all of these quotes and put them together, Brother Branham is saying that all the they were all around this body of water and there was a bunch of fishermen fishing and angel told him, amen, what to catch and how to catch it. And and then all of a sudden, Brother Branham gets excited because all the fishermen turned out to be preachers and they all gathered around said do it, Brother Branham. You can do it." And they're encouraging him. And he felt so good and he felt so encouraged that on the second pull he didn't obey the angel

27:19 and he pulled too hard. And when he did, he jerked out the lure fish and all. And he had only caught a little bitty fish.

27:26 He said, "Look like skin over the lure." He said, "I don't even know how it got the lure in its mouth." He said, "I caught a little one like them other brothers were catching." Right.
