Brick By Brick Upgrading Boys' Town In Singapore  (website - brickbybrick.sg )

Charlene Low, Sean Seet, Sufiyan Sulaiman, Stellina Seng 'awesome -foursome' are into a significant renovation-rebuilding project . Last September 2011, they visited Singapore Boys' Town in Upper Bukit Timah, a private charity , set up by the Garielite Brothers, a catholic order, provides shelter, education, vocational training and practical living skills to boys aged between 11 and 18 years-old. These boys come primarily from large, troubled, single-parent or finanially needy families.

"This Boys' Home hadn't been renovated since it was built almost 60 years ago (ie since 1951). We saw 30 boys squeezed into one room."

Dear respected Healthy Wealth readers, please help the boys by buying T-shirts designed for free by Singapore local designers, priced at SGD$23.50 each. Click here (http://www.brickbybrick.sg/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1) for the various designs you can choose to purchase in turn help these boys in need for the facility renovation cost. Thank you for your kindness and purchase ,too.

The total building cost was SGD$15 million. The 'awesome-foursome' aims to raise SGD $30,000, by selling about 2,000 brick-by-brick design T-shirts, which are made by a local company.

The name brickbybrick.sg for the campaign came about because the funds raised will go towards building costs. "Although bricks are small, together they can make a difference - so we hope that our contributions, even though small, will do the same."  said Ms Stellina Seng, 22.

Heartfelt THANK YOU and applause to all four Nanyang Technological University (NTU) students, Charlene Low, Sean Seet, Sufiyan Sulaiman, Stellina Seng for helping Boys' Townto upgrade its facilities "brick by brick".

Special THANKS to all Healthy Wealth readers who donate (by pay-pal) and buy the T-shirts, badges, canvas bags, caps and merchandise for a worthy cause the help them build "brick by brick" .

The four students plan to sustain their efforts beyond their project, whose deadline is in mid-March, 2012. So hurry and spread this message around , THANK YOU folks. Click here (http://www.brickbybrick.sg/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1)
