HEALTH UPDATE - Blood Test
Minor good news.
Had my blood test today, the first after my colon cancer surgery on July 25. Results show a slight drop in the cancer marker, from 39 before surgery to 27. Ideal level for people without cancer is <5 .="" p="">
Frankly, I was disappointed as I was expecting a bigger drop. Guess the message for me is that I need to continue making much effort in taking care of my health.
Yeah, I have been losing steam lately especially in home cooking - lost energy to cook and had been eating out mostly, although I do my best to eat as “cleanly“ as possible. Also lost some energy in waking up for qigong. So perhaps the so-so test results are a timely reminder.
On the other hand, I should be happy. For some people, three months without medical treatment is enough time for their cancer to go out of control. Mine is still under check, in fact, slightly down.
Doctor continues to recommend chemotherapy but I still decline and he “respects my decision”. So I am mainly on my own now. Next appointment is in January but I will not be in the country. So see how. Will update you, my friends, every now and then.

Try lemon n turmeric. My colonoscopy no polyps but a few friends got 1-6. Maybe aspirin and flaxseed meal helped me. >I am taking fermented turmeric, got probioticos some more.

7 hours since my earlier post. Feeling very very much improved. As if my fate has turned.
When doctor explained that the cancer had returned to the exact same spot, I had vision of Angel of Death determined to get me. But thanks to so many prayers the Angels of Life saved me.

3) Right Exercise (for cardio and resistance exercises)
4) Right Breathing (regular deep breathing)
5) Right posture (stand and sleep right - watching TV)
6) Right atmosphere (good air quality, no damaging radiation)
7) Right Attitude - having a jovial/positive attitude/persistence with focus / regular reviews of self health status

Should be discharged tomorrow. Or Sunday at latest.
