Let me begin by telling you a story.
In the ancient hills of Canaan, there lived a young man named Zuriel.
He was 19 years old, the son of a Levitical priest named Azeriah.
Ever since he turned 14, Zuriel had been haunted by an intense inner struggle, a constant wave of sexual temptation that overwhelmed him nearly every single day.
While most of the boys his age occasionally battled impure thoughts, Zuriel felt like he was under siege.
The pressure was so intense that he could barely focus on his studies of the scriptures.
His soul was weary, his heart confused, and his spirit burdened.
Night after night, he would cry out to God in private, "Why me, father? Why are my temptations so different, so powerful, so unrelenting?"
One particular night, after falling once again into masturbation, Zuriel collapsed in tears on the floor of his room.
He shouted in desperation, "Lord, I must be the worst of all men. No son of a priest should be fighting this hard just to stay pure."
But on that same night, something extraordinary happened.
In a dream, a radiant being appeared.
A mighty angel clothed in brilliant light.
The angel looked straight into Zuriel's soul and said, "Zuriel, son of Azeriah, do you think it's just by chance that your temptations are this intense?"
Trembling, the young man replied, "I don't understand, my lord."
The angel continued, "The adversary knows the calling that rests upon your life. You have been chosen to confront the spirit of sexual corruption that will rise in future generations. That is why Satan has assigned some of his most powerful spirits to attack you without rest."
Zuriel awoke from the dream, shaken but deeply curious.
The next day, he went to visit an elderly prophet named Nathaniel, a man known for his wisdom and spiritual insight.
Zuriel told him the entire dream in detail, seeking guidance.
Nathaniel listened intently, his eyes fixed on the young man.
After a moment of silence, the old prophet spoke with authority. 'My son," he said, "those who are called to the greatest assignments always face the fiercest battles. Before David stood before Goliath, he had to conquer lions and bears. Before Moses led the people out of Egypt, he wandered the wilderness alone. And you, you are being tested by
lust because you have been chosen for a ministry of deliverance. Deliverance ministry? Zuriel asked wideeyed. "Yes," Nathaniel answered. "Those who overcome the greatest temptations are the very ones God raises up to deliver others who are still enslaved. Only someone who has truly felt the weight of this bondage can break it in someone else's life." From that day forward, something began to shift inside Zuriel. Rather than drown in guilt and shame, he began to see his battle from a new perspective.
He started praying with purpose. "Lord, if these temptations are a sign of my calling, then give me the strength to overcome them and prepare me for what lies ahead."
Over time, the temptations began to lose their grip on him.
They still came, but they no longer held the same power.
Six (6) months later, Nathaniel received a full prophetic word and called Zuriel to hear it.
"Zuriel," he said, "God has chosen you
