"C" Cruise

Dedication to all honoured and respected oldies but goodies. One of them like a song "Sea Cruise" by Frankie Ford , in 1959. Well, we will have smooth sailing when it comes to our body arteries, if we follow his advice. Just take tourself or yourself on a "C" cruise.

Enjoy your "C" cruise - it just might be a permanent vacation from atherosclerosis. Bon voyage! We have to be fit to travel, not travel to be fit. Bon appetite!

Vitamin C helps keep low-density lipoproteins (LDL) from oxidizing, which helps protect the arteries in your heart and brain from getting clogged. Vitamin C also strengthen your blood vessel walls, which promotes good circulation. It also can prevent your blood vessels from constricting and cutting off blood flow to your heart and brain. Reduce your risk for stroke.

Stick with fresh fruits and vegetables, though. Research has shown that antioxidant supplements have little or no proven value in heading off heart disease. Nature always pack the correct ratio of needful elements ; nature is the best 'chemist' among all the human chemists you know.

It is easy to get vitamin C through your daily diet. It is also better for you. With vitamin C supplements, you can get too much of a 'good thing'. Too much vitamin C (especially the inorganic form) can lead to bloating and diarrhea. It may also cause you to absorb too much iron, lead to kidney stones, or erode the enamel on your teeth.

Wondering where to find the most vitamin C? If your guess is orange, then you are last in the top ten super sources of 'C'.
Look no further than these 10 foods that clean and flush out your arteries.
1.Sweet red pepper - 226mg
2.Papaya -- 188mg
3.Broccoli, 1 cup cooked --- 101 mg
4.Strawberries, 1 cup ---- 98 mg
5.Brussel sprouts, 1 cup cooked ----- 97 mg
6.Green pepper -- 96mg
7.Cranberry juice cocktail -- 90 mg
8.Orange juice, 1 cup chilled -- 82 mg
9.Kiwi fruit -- 71 mg
10.Orange - 70 mg.

Your don't have to stick to tried and true sources of vitamin C, either. Have fun finding unusual - and tasty - ways to get more of this important vitamin.

For patients on drugs to blood thinning , consider eating a persimmon instead, a reddish-orange fruit packed with oxalic acid - fiber, potassium, magnesium, calcium and antioxidants, nature-distilled water, all super weapons for fighting atherosclerosis.

Just be careful if you are taking the blood-thinning medication warfarin. A compound in papayas called papain may make its effects stronger.

Enjoy your fruits and vegetables , you enjoy your "C" cruise.........smooth sailing
beyond the sunlight.

It is never too late or too early to revise and be wise again for the rest of our journey.......

Use Water-cure.
Rather be thankful for the timely warning, and do something about it.

Drink at least 10% of your own daily water-quota (31.42 ml multiply by your present body weight(kg), every 90 minutes. Use 1/4 teaspoon of sea-salt in your daily diet, for every 1250 ml water drank.

Pain is a sign/signal produced by dehydration in the human body. Pain may be common but it is not normal.
