We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths.
It's not as easy as you think.
It's important to know how and when to eat fruit.





What is the correct way of eating fruits?





IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS!
* FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH *





If you eat fruit on an empty stomach, it will play a major role in detoxifying your system,
supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.





FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD


Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.





In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....





So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining and saying things like - every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet etc - actually none of this will happen if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach otherwise the fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!





Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOThappen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.





There is no such thing as some fruits being acidic, like orange and lemon, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.





Cooking destroys all the vitamins.
There is no nutrient value in cooked fruits or juice that has been heated.
When you drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans.





But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!





KIWI:Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.





APPLE:An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.





STRAWBERRY:Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.





ORANGE :Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessen the risk of colon cancer.

Today's pessimist versus yesterday's optimist?

In the mist your vision need to turn to inside insight to take a next step to survive. We were born united to optimize all situations , not withstanding , whether one is born with good vision or otherwise. It has been said that a pessimist is one person who sees a difficulty in every opportunity; whereas an optimist sees an opportunity in every difficulty.

Dear honorable reader, that's you, let today be a day of seeing opportunities rather than difficulties. We are given eyes to see, there are " open doors " everywhere.

We are in the mid of mist, we know that. We are free individual to decide what type of mist we want to be, opti-mist or pess-i-mist ?

All our life will feel safer and gladder;
the enigmas of human (you being one of them) history will be assume a kindlier aspect;
and the big universe itself will become friendlier, if we go into the new day with this precious truth in mind, that the sovereign God-Creator is our Father, ever-loving, ever-present, compassionately interested in all our concerns and ever pursuing through our changeful (change is the only constant) earthly vicissitudes His purposes for our ultimate good. How often we think or misunderstand our real needs! How often we think that if only we had more money, how much more we don't know, higher position in political sense, greater gifts or perhaps better health, we should be much better off!

No, our real need is "grace and peace." Thank our Father-God they can be ours through all the coming days. Grace is the imparting to us of Father-God's holy love. Peace means well-being in general.

Why Does Iodine Get a Bad Rap?
I have received many emails this week asking me to comment about a recent article claiming that taking iodine causes/exacerbates thyroid problems.

Let’s think about it. Thyroid problems have been increasing at epidemic rates over the last 30 years. Hypothyroidism affects from 13 million to 45 million Americans. Another 10-15 million Americans are affected with an autoimmune thyroid disorder. Clearly these numbers are unacceptable and we should be searching for the underlying cause of why thyroid illness affects so many people.

When I lecture about iodine, I describe iodine as, “The most misunderstood nutrient.” Iodine has been vilified over the years as causing/exacerbating thyroid illnesses. In medical school I was taught that iodine supplementation was not needed by anybody. I can assure you that statement is incorrect.

Over the last 30 years, as the rate of thyroid disorders has been increasing at epidemic rates, iodine levels have fallen by over 50% in the U.S. (NHANES--from cdc.gov). If iodine were the cause of thyroid disorders wouldn’t you expect thyroid disorders to be decreasing over the last 30 years? In fact, I believe it is iodine deficiency, coupled with the increasing exposure to toxic halides bromide and fluoride that is the driving force behind the epidemic rise of thyroid disorders.

Let me ask you a question--what percentage of the American population has been taking iodine supplements over the last 30 years? I don’t have the exact numbers to quote here, but I would venture a guess that the number is pretty low. So, during the last 30 years, as iodine levels have fallen over 50%, what is the problem that is causing this new epidemic of thyroid problems? Maybe thyroid diseases have increased so dramatically because of televisions. Americans have more televisions now than in the past. Perhaps it is more televisions that are causing the increased thyroid problems. (As a side note—televisions do contain large amounts of bromine which can cause thyroid problems!).

I know the above argument is ridiculous (except for the bromine info). But, so is the idea that iodine supplementation is responsible for exacerbating/causing all thyroid problems. Over the last 20 years of practice, I have seen thousands of patients who have presented with hyperthyroid or hypothyroid symptoms who were not taking iodine. What caused their symptoms? Why does iodine always get a bad rap?

Now, that is not to say that iodine is safe for everyone to take. Just as drinking too much water can cause problems, iodine supplementation can also cause adverse effects in certain patients. By far, the most common adverse effect of iodine supplementation is due to the release of toxic halides bromide and fluoride. Iodine supplementation causes the release of bromide and fluoride from the body creating a detoxification issue for the body. If the body is not able to effectively release these toxic halides, the patient will experience a detoxification reaction. What are the signs of a detoxification reaction? A detoxification reaction can include fatigue, palpitations, nervousness, anxiety, and headaches. Sometimes you can even see elevated thyroid function tests associated with the detoxification reaction. Most of the time, these symptoms can easily be managed by supporting the body’s detoxification pathways.

In my experience, I have found the proper use of iodine to be a safe and effective treatment for the vast majority of patients. In order to get the best results with iodine, it is important for iodine to be taken as part of a holistic treatment regimen. This minimizes detoxification reactions. I suggest getting your iodine levels checked before and after supplementation with iodine. More information about this can be found in my book, Iodine Why You Need It, Why You Can’t Live Without It.

Does iodine cause hypothyroidism? No. Iodine deficiency causes hypothyroidism.

Does iodine cause goiter? No. The most common cause of goiter is iodine deficiency.

Does iodine cause autoimmune thyroid disease? No. Autoimmune thyroid diseaes is caused, in part, from iodine deficiency.

Does iodine cause thyroid cancer? No. Iodine deficiency is related to the development of thyroid cancer.

Doctors are merely collecting data to fill up the files in clinics and their respective speciality practice if the patients are not receiving the wholesome and holistic treatment and educational-consultation.

The analytical survey does not rest content with collecting and arranging data. It attempts to relate one piece of data to another, to probe beneath the figures to underlying factors and patterns. If you have been following the worldwide H1N1 flu mass vaccination program, then you be wiser to avoid the much propaganda campaign to influence the innocent public who trusted (read "over-trusted)the governments' agencies or health care bodies.

Accessibility is a more important influence on people's reading than readability or interest.
It is usually unwise, even when it is possible, to pass over the whole operation to a professional body : fundamental misunderstandings may give rise to some curious results.

Survey or slurvey?
There are all sorts of pitfalls and the experts themselves have not always escaped them.

Voters alone will decide the boundary and limits which the politicians can go. And politicians are merely actors acting out the script which were dictated by the the audience-voters. Period.

Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing. Survey Humans?
; if one human being (you) is difficult enough to investigate, human beings in their social setting, interacting with one another and subject to influences of all kinds, are very much more difficult but possible; challenging.

Now libraries are numerous, and some are large, very large, in staff and stock; information also is EXPLODING; and the needs of users are more urgent and more complex.

Today's library journals are more concerned with computers than with real people surveys, and undoubtedly operational research and management methods will assume increasing prominence.

What is a survey?
Like an elephant, it (survey) is easier to recognise than to define.
A good survey gives an oversight of a field, and is thus distinguished from the sort of study which consists of a microscopic examination of the tuft; a good survey is a map rather than a detailed plan.

Some facts are there waiting (www.watercure2.com) to be collected, some facts have to be elicited with great care and tenderness. Most facts only become useful as they can re related to other facts. You cannot truly measure the value of a blog/website/library (www.propheticrevelation.net for example)to its community. You can measure the use made of it, the community's attitude to it, even to some extent the economic contribution it makes to the community. In the last resort this must be a value judgement.

What's New With the Flu?

Since this new strain of flu virus, the H1N1, reared its ugly head and was first detected in the United States in April, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has been posting updates on the flu situation. One of the most recent updates indicates that H1N1 is still alive and well and circulating throughout our nation.

It’s still early in the flu season, but visits to doctors for flu-like symptoms continue to increase in some areas of our country, with higher than average levels for this time of year. Additionally, hospitalization rates are on the upswing, too, compared to what is normative for this time of year. Interestingly, hospitalizations for those of younger ages—children 5-17 and adults 18-49—exceed average flu season rates as well.

The CDC says that 37 states report present widespread influenza activity, which is also highly unusual for this time of year. Those states are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.

Perhaps your state is one in the lineup.

The first of the flu vaccinations are arriving, too, but nearly one-third of the parents in an Associated Press poll don’t want their kids to be vaccinated against this circulating flu strain. Parents cite concern about the effects of the vaccine and a belief that this flu strain isn’t any worse than the regular flu.

This flu, however, can turn deadly—“death by cytokine storm” says The Scripps Research Institute. In an illustrated overview, Scripps explains why and how this new flu strain attacks the lungs and sometimes results in death.

They explain that moist air joins with the flu virus and turns lung cells into virus-making factories. This viral invasion pushes the body’s immune system to stop the infection by destroying those compromised cells without destroying the host first.

White blood cells go into high gear, attempting to kill the flu virus. T-cells join in and produce a deluge of cytokines, which cause inflammation. This aggressive response can cause the lungs to become unable to exchange oxygen, and that can lead to death.

John Cannell, M.D., executive director of the Vitamin D Council, says that virologists are concerned with three aspects of any flu viruses: novelty, transmissibility and lethality. Cannell says the current H1N1 strain is, indeed, novel since we don’t have any antibodies to this strain. It’s easily transmitted, too, but its lethality is low, with the exception of Mexico. Cannell believes the lethality of this strain is still anyone’s guess, since a virus’ lethality can change over a short period of time—weeks to months.

As we enter the winter months—notoriously known as flu season—you may want to make sure you’re doing all you can to prevent the flu. That includes staying as healthy as possible, washing your hands often, not touching your eyes, nose or mouth, avoiding others who are sick and staying home if you are ill.

Are You D-ficient?

The results of a study published in the June 2009 edition of the Archives of Internal Medicine may cause your heart to flutter.

The study indicates that there is a possible connection between vitamin D levels and heart health—especially in men.† Edward Giovannucci, M.D., Sc. D., professor of medicine and nutrition, Department of Epidemiology, Harvard School of Public Health teamed up with some of his colleagues to explore this further.

Their study involved 454 men between the ages of 40 and 75 who struggled in the area of heart health. The researchers then did a comparative with an additional 900 men who were strong in the area of heart health. Their findings were eye-opening.

The researchers believe that their results indicate that adequate dietary levels of vitamin D are correlated with overall heart health in these men.† While more studies need to be done, these findings are encouraging to this team of scientists.

The takeaway? The researchers in this study suggest that sufficient dietary vitamin D intake can have a positive effect on heart health.† That may be interesting news to the three-quarters of teenagers and adults in America who lack enough vitamin D.

James H. O'Keefe MD, cardiologist and Director of Preventive Cardiology, Mid America Heart Institute, Kansas City, Missouri, agrees with this study’s findings. He says, “Vitamin D deficiency is an unrecognized, emerging part of heart unhealth, but vitamin D is easy to assess and getting enough of it is simple, safe, and inexpensive.”†

But that’s not all the heart-stopping studies going on about not getting enough vitamin D and overall heart health. Framingham Heart Study researchers in an article published in Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association believe that the same vitamin D that can support bone health can also support heart health.†

Assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, Thomas Wang, M.D., was a lead researcher in this study and whole-heartedly believes in the connection between a healthy heart and healthy dietary vitamin D levels. In fact, he believes that vitamin D may play a more important role than what we think.†

In a study of 1,739 offspring from the Framingham Heart Study participants, with an average age of 59, researchers noted a distinct nutritional deficiency as it relates to vitamin D. They say that those who had inadequate vitamin D blood levels were twice as likely to encounter heart issues compared to those who had sufficient vitamin D levels from their diets.†

This is, of course, a new topic in research, so there’s more to be established and examined. In the meantime, when you think about maintaining your heart health, you may want to consider your intake of dietary vitamin D. You don’t want to come up short.

Water & Salt Deficiency

Why do you say that health care is a common sense deficiency disorder?
Because if the 2nd and 3rd most essential nutrients are water and salt in the body, (the 1st being oxygen), wouldn't common sense tell us to check those levels first? Does your doctor ask you about your water/salt intake? ....caffeine/alcohol intake?

Our bones are hollow in the center (marrow) where blood cells are made. The marrow is covered with many strands of calcium salts, the way rope is woven together. Salt crystals are woven in with the calcium and these salt crystals are what make our bones hard, not the calcium.

27% of the body’s salt content is located in the bones. When the body requires more salt it can borrow it from the bones. When this happens, calcium is also removed with the salt making the bones thinner, softer and brittle. Sentences are too short and continue on the next line instead of being extended.

The human body is able to split the chlorine from the sodium as needed. Our blood requires chlorine as do many of our organs. The stomach uses chlorine to make hydrochloric acid required so we can digest our food correctly.

Our body also uses the sodium chloride as salt to keep the brain, spine, tears, bones, sweat glands, organs and blood topped off with salt. The body benefits from the other trace minerals that help keep the body alkaline and healthy.

Sodium is not salt. Salt is sodium chloride.

Sodium, potassium and chloride are electrolytes (special minerals) that dissolve in water and carry electrical charges anywhere there is water in the body.

These electrically charged minerals can freely move into a cell and back out again carrying nutrients in and removing waste products and excess water as to keep the cell balanced.

At the same time as these electrolytes move in and out of the cells making their exchanges, a delicate balance of potassium inside the cell must be maintained with a special amount of sodium and chloride to hold the potassium in the center of the cell.

Electrolytes are found in all fluids of the body and carry impulses along your nerves. This helps your muscles, like the heart and diaphragm, contract and relax.

Electrolytes carry glucose (blood sugar) into the cell after insulin opens the door

or gate for the sugar to be taken in.

Why You Should Avoid The Flu Shot
I decided a week ago that I was not going to write about the flu vaccine anymore. However, every time I see our Government spinning lies about the flu vaccine I get irritated. Due to this week's heavy media push about the flu vaccine, I feel the need to write one more article (or…perhaps a few more) about this vaccine.

This is truly an unusual time we live in. The U.S. government is spending billions of our dollars promoting the mass vaccination of the U.S. population for the flu virus and the swine flu virus. The U.S. government is making the vaccines widely available and virtually free. They are spending our hard-earned money to ‘educate’ us that the flu vaccine should be taken by all, from babies to the elderly, and that it will save many thousands of lives. Furthermore, they have begun a major public relations blitz criticizing those of us that give a differing opinion on the value of these vaccines.

Let’s look at some of their claims and the research behind them. The U.S. government and pretty much all mainstream groups claim that the flu shot prevents the flu in those that get the vaccine. However, the flu shots have not been shown to be effective in healthy babies, children with asthma, adults, and the elderly.

In Children:
A review of 51 studies which included more than 294,000 children found “no evidence that injecting children 6-24 months of age with a flu shot was any more effective than placebo. In children over two years of age, it was only effective 33% of the time in preventing the flu. (Chochrane Database of Systemic Reviews 2. 2008).

In asthmatic children,
the flu shot was found to not provide any benefit in preventing asthma exacerbations. The authors of this study compared 400 asthmatic children who were vaccinated with a similar number of asthmatic children who were not vaccinated. They found no difference between emergency visits, clinic visits, or hospitalizations in the vaccinated versus the non-vaccinated group. (Arch. Dis. Child. 2004. Aug;89(8):734-5). If this study wasn’t enough to get your attention a new study found that “Children who get the flu vaccine are three times more at risk for hospitalization than children who do not get the flu vaccine.” (American Thoracic Society 105th International Conference, May 15-20, 2009, San Diego, CA.).

According the CDC, the elderly are a population at increased risk for acquiring the flu and developing complications of the flu. In nursing homes or for the elderly living in the community, researchers found the flu shot was ineffective for preventing the flu. (Chochrane Databse of Systemic Reviews. 3(2006). In fact, the flu shot has never been shown to lower the rate of mortality from the flu in any population, including the elderly.

Clearly, there is NO reason to get the flu shot. It doesn’t prevent the flu and has not been shown to prevent complications from the flu.

A UCLA study has shown that chemotherapy can change the blood flow and metabolism of the brain in ways that can linger for 10 years or more after treatment. We can call this condition, "chemo brian".

"People with 'chemo brain' often can't focus, remember things or multitask the way they did before chemotherapy," explained Dr. Daniel Silverman, head of neuro-nuclear imaging and associate professor of molecular and medical pharmacology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. "Our study demonstrates for the first time that patients suffering from these cognitive symptoms have specific alterations in brain metabolism."



The study of breast cancer survivors suggests the mental fog known as chemobrain might last longer than once thought and shows women treated with chemotherapy a decade ago still experience subtle memory problems.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Chemotherapy causes changes in the brain's metabolism and blood flow that can last as long as 10 years, a discovery that may explain the mental fog and confusion that affect many cancer survivors, researchers said on Thursday. Experts estimate at least 25 percent of chemotherapy patients are affected by symptoms of confusion, so-called chemo brain, and a recent study by the University of Minnesota reported an 82 percent rate, the statement said.

Chemotherapy drugs are toxins and therefore can cause damage to the heart. As a result of this damage, the heart is unable to pump enough blood to supply the body with essential oxygen and nutrients. Although several chemotherapy drugs may cause cardiac toxicity, the most common ones are the anthracyclines such as: (Adriamycin®doxorubicin, daunomycin, epirubicin, mitoxantrone and idarubicin).



Alkylating agents and vinca alkaloids can also contribute to heart damage.



Chemo-drugs + Radiation
In addition, radiation therapy to the chest wall or area around the heart can affect the blood vessels supplying the heart, leading to a “heart attack”. Since many patients, especially those with lymphoma or breast cancer receive both anthracycline-based chemotherapy and radiation therapy there may be a cumulative effect on the heart.

Young women who receive chemotherapy to treat breast cancer experience ovarian damage. This damage may prevent subsequent childbearing and may cause side effects of early menopause, e.g., accelerated bone loss, hot flashes, and vaginal dryness. Chemotherapy-related menopause in young women produces intensely unpleasant symptoms and results in low libido and rapid bone loss. The ovarian damage increases with age and drug dose. Forty to 70% of 40-year olds will develop menopause within one year.

My life changed after two months on the "Water Cure."
