Peace broker or peace breaker?
Either one has peace or a piece of peace.
Simple as it seems to blog and hope more visitors will comment your blog but again why bother with others comment about you or you about others?
Maintain peace in one life is real treasure to have and share with others.
Peace ! or peace (silent) is still peace; you can be a peace broker if you like to but it will cause your peace if you expect too much from the world of non-peace-sense. So keep your peace as long as possible , least you experience bitterness and being accused to be 'peace breaker' instead.
Enjoy more healthy wealth through sound water management in your daily living and be at peace with all if possible.
Peace.
Peace like a brook or river of natural spring bubbling stream flowing downstream with the reflection of the sunset on your face ....peace.

Breast and cervical cancers (global cancer epidemic))
are likely to kill millions of women in the coming years, thriving on ignorance of the onset of the disease and a lack of means to diagnose and treat it holistically.
Cancerous cells were once upon a time healthy cells in our human body. It is the diet gone wrong; from freash raw versij to 'civilised'-cooked version.
Worldwide, incidence of all types of cancer will DOUBLE over the next 2 decades, with roughly 26.4 million new cases and 17 milion deaths annually by year 2030.
The global cancer epidemic is growing and also changing.
Rediscovering the cellular proper rehydration which can alter all human DNA and genetic development is the primary sole solution to help global cititzens and rescue them from present main stream misinformation about cancers.

More than half of the 12.4 million etimated new cases of cancer in year 2008, and two-thirds of the estimated 7.6 million cancer deaths, occured in low-income and middle-income countries, where cancer kills more people each year than AIDS, TB and malaria.
Women beware of your constant body hormone changes and also water need changes throughout your varios phases of lifespan, the risk being borne by women in resource-poor settings.
Success rates for tackling breast cancers and cervical cancers - dubbed "silent killers" for their lethal stealth - are rising in wealthy countries.

In present developing countries the disease 'remain a low priority" for spending, which is reflected in the death toll.
More tha 272,000 women in poor countries died prematurely of cervical cancer in year 2007, accounting for 85% of the global total.
Cases of breast cancer in these same countries is also growing at up to 10 times the global average - up to 5% per year.
Just watch how liefstyle which dehydrate the body since childhood that cause the underlying genetic nutation of the healthy cells.
Shifting diets (factorised-food) and obesity - colon cancer.
Infection by the hepetitis B virus, the human papillomavirus (HPV) and helicobacter pylori bacterium - liver cancer, cervical cancer, stomach cancer.

Tinnitus isn't a disease (repeat)
Tinnitus isn't a disease
All noise is sound, but not all sound is noise.
Ringing, buzzing, hissing, chirping - the noise in your head can drive you to distraction, especially if you suffer from tinnitus.
How it works: Tinnitus is not disease. It is a collection of symptoms with several possible causes including reduced blood flow in your inner ear. Your inner ear contain tiny cells shaped like hairs that turn sound vibrations into electrical impulse. The pulses travel to your brain, which interprets them as sound.
These hair cells need a nutrient rich supply of blood to stay healthy. Too little blood moving through your inner ear means the cells become sick and die.
Damaged hair cells simply do not work as well as healthy ones. They short-circuit and begin sending constant, nonsense signals to your brain, even when there is no sound from outside, like night time. Your brain picks that up as a ring. That's how we heat it. Increasing the blood flow in your inner ear m heal these hairs. If you can improve the blood supply, then perhaps you can improve your health.
Ensure your water quota is met on daily basis. Every 1 kilogram of body weight , you need to drink at least 31.42 ml of plain water, per day. Just multiply your present body weight to find your daily quota of water needed each day. Use 1/4 teaspoon of sea-salt for every 1250 ml water used. Remember, water deficiency on daily basis can compound stress level inside your body organs and environment, thus manifest many dehydration symptoms which the medical mainstream just add up new jargon (like tinnitus) into their long list of symptoms. Solve the "cause" (body dehydration), you solve many symptoms naturally. In short your body is CRYING for water!
Blood also regulates pH (acidic-alkaline balance) body temperature and the water content of cells. Blood test cannot show your body is undergoing dehydration, so save your money from the "quack"-doctors. I know they are licensed to practise. Ask them about water-metabolism in human body and about solvent protocol.
Tip: you can try ginkgo. It improves your blood circulation by dilating, or widening, blood vessels and keeping blood-platelets from forming clots. 240 mg of ginkgo twice a day for 4 months . If it has not been effective after 4 months, it is probably not going to be. If your condition improve, gradually lowering your dosage to find out exactly how much you need. When your ringing returns, increase your dosage again just enough to treat your symptoms.
Take care - combining ginkgo with other blood-thinning drugs, such as heparin or warfarin, could lead to excessive bleeding. Tell your doctors you take this herb ginkgo so they avoid prescribing medicines that interact with it.
CLEVER WAYS to silence symptoms.
Head noise just annoys some people. For other people, it destroys their lives. Before tinnitus drives you crazy, and suffering unknowingly anymore, seek help and try this tip.
1.Just relax. Stress worsen tinnitus, which in turn makes you more anxious. Break the stress cycle. Drink a glass of water, take a easy stroll .
2.Avoid total quietness surrounding.Use soft music to mask your symptom. Background noise may be used to your advantage.
It is never too late or too early to revise and be wise again for the rest of our journey.......
Use Water-cure. Rather be thankful for the timely warning, and do something about it.
Drink at least 10% of your own daily water-quota (31.42 ml multiply by your present body weight(kg), every 90 minutes. Use 1/4 teaspoon of sea-salt in your daily diet, for every 1250 ml water drank.
Pain is a sign/signal produced by dehydration in the human body. Pain may be common but it is not normal.
To simplify complications is the FIRST essential of success.

There is hope , if you know how ....

LOS ANGELES - Patrick Swayze, best known for his starring roles in the hit films "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost," died Monday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.
The Hollywood heart-throb, whose other films included the surfing thriller "Point Break," died after suffering complications from the illness, Swayze's publicist Annett Wolf confirmed.
"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," said Wolf in a statement.
Swayze was diagnosed with advanced stage-four pancreatic cancer in January 2008, leaving him with only a one-percent chance of surviving longer than five years, according to medical experts.
He bravely fought the disease in the public eye, continuing to work on set despite grueling cancer treatment and significant weight loss.
In January he slammed tabloid reporting of his condition in an interview with ABC television's Barbara Walters, where he bullishly declared that he was determined to beat his condition.
He told Walters he had tried to keep his illness secret but went public to protect family and friends after tabloids reported he was close to death.
"Hope is a very, very fragile thing in anyone's life and the people I love do not need to have that hope robbed from them when it's unjustified and it's untrue," Swayze said.
Yet only a few months later, Swayze's representative was forced to issue a condemnation of "reckless" reports saying the actor had died.
His costar, actress Jennifer Grey, said: "When I think of him, I think of being in his arms when we were kids, dancing, practicing the lift in the freezing lake, having a blast doing this tiny little movie we thought no one would ever see."
Grey, now 49, told People magazine Swayze was a "real cowboy with a tender heart," who was so fearless doing his own stunts that "it was not surprising to me that the war he waged on his cancer was so courageous and dignified."
Throughout his career Swayze's wife Lisa Niemi -- whom he married in 1975 -- remained a constant source of inspiration for many of his roles.
"Lisa and I have built just about every character I've done," he told People magazine in 2007. "You have to understand, we have an ease.... We've been partners for a long time."
Though ailing, Swayze, unbowed, recently acted for five months in the television series "The Beast," in which he played an FBI agent.

Dear friend and reader,
We have uploaded a case report:
Rectal Cancer Stage 3: Eight Years and Doing Fine After Surgery But Only On Herbs
AK was 70years old when she came to seek our help. Some time in March 2001 she had abdominal pains for about 2 week’s duration and she passed out blood in her stools. She went to a private hospital and did a colonoscopy. There was a 15 cm tumour at the anal verge. She was admitted into the hospital on 12 April 2001 and underwent a surgery.
Histopathology indicated moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of the rectum, tubulovillous type, Duke Stage C. Pararectal lymph nodes: metastatic adenocarcinoma (1/6).
She recovered well and was discharged on 20 April 2001. She was subsequently referred to an oncologist for further management. She refused chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She started to take herbs and is well up to this day – 8 years!

I refuse to be vaccinated?
Vaccine Creators Refuse to Take H1N1 Vaccine
Russia Today
Journalist Wayne Madsen tells Russia today scientists involved in creating previous vaccinations are telling family and friends not to take the H1N1 vaccine. Madsen also warns that the government may make the vaccination mandatory.
Lets hope that by vaccine creators becoming "refuseniks", that those of us in the general public will also retain the right to choose for ourselves if the risks outweigh any benefit for getting the H1N1 vaccine

He is courting with death.
With the opening ceremony of a state-of-the-art SGD$600 million Glaxo Smith Klin(GSK) vaccine plant in Tuas, on Tuesday June 9,2009, by Singapore Prime Minister Lee H.L., it marked another 'blow' to the public health care system, which based on drugs paradigm for the Republic and global citizens.
GSK and Republic of Singapore relationship, with investment of over $ 1.5 billion in fixed assets by the British company.
While Prime Minster Lee H.L. only read this relationship from the global economic standpoint, of Singapore faces a new world with new market dynamic and tougher competition, trying to offer Singapore as a corporate base for more biologic vaccines and new drugs, he is courting with death.
"..focus our effort to excel in niche areas." - quote Prime Minister Lee H.L.
If he really want Singaporeans and this nation transcend the limitations of physical Singapore small island size and punch above our weight class among the global competition, then let us look at water-cure protocol as a paradigm shift for real health care.
Let both analysts and advisers to the Prime Minister Office note the significance of the efficacy and practicality of water-cure for this nation health and wealth sustainability and reality.
Vaccines or drug-plants are not assets but liabilities for our families, our children's future. Period.

Real Baby is Bonus: Few babies?
Children bring joy to the family. Singapore Baby Bonus Scheme supports parents' decision to have more children by helping to lighten the financial costs of raising children. This Baby Bonus Scheme(latest enhancements on 17 August 2008) consists of a cash gift and a co-saving matching contribution in the Children Development Account (CDA).

Few babies? It's the Hotel Mama mindset
by Peter Huber
IT IS not by chance that Singapore has such a low fertility rate. There are many contributing factors, but an important one is the housing policy and the mindset behind it.
In Europe and the United States, people leave their homes in their early 20s or even earlier. With their salaries, they can afford to rent a place, maybe with a friend or two. Those ages 25 and above, who are still living at parents' home, are considered strange, immature and lacking in independence.
In the West, people in their 20s experiment, enjoy their freedom and have probably more than one relationship before they settle down and start a family.
In Singapore, it is a policy that only married couples can have an affordable, subsidised flat. It is way too expensive for someone who has just entered the workforce to rent or buy an apartment on the resale market. So they live with their parents and enjoy Hotel Mama/Papa, which is comfortable and saves them some money.
But they have to follow their parents' rules, such as, "When I wake up, you have to be in your bed, alone". Bringing a lover home is out of the question. For them, childhood continues until they are well into their 30s.
It is not just a question of having no private space. It is also a question of mentality. In the West, young people learn early to stand on their own feet, to take care of themselves, to live their own lives.
In Singapore, the young are conditioned to follow the rules, to live for their schools or jobs, to listen to their parents and to be obedient citizens.
But different qualities are needed for starting a family, such as readiness to take risks, independence and the ability to have fun.
In Singapore, there is too much emphasis on 'obedience', too little on independence. That is not good for having babies.
Some might say that Singapore has no choice because it is a small island. But i don't know any other big city which has so much empty land, even at the best locations next to underground train stations.
It seems to be the policy here to make available only a little land for buildings and to keep property prices sky-high.
Peter Huber.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. The baby is the result of one flesh.
Prepare your work outside and get it ready for yourself in the field; afterwards, then, build your house.
If you don't daydream to start a family and kind of plan thing and babies in your imagination, you never get there. So you have to start someplace.
Tradition is a form of promise from parent to child It's a way to say, "I love you,"
"I'm here for you,"
and "Some things will not change."
Growth takes time.
God knows that. I know that.
And to my pleasant surprise, His abundance is mine
in the process - not as
a prize at the end.
Behold, children are a heritage/legacy from the LORD ; the fruit of the womb is His reward.
Your wife will be as a fruitful vine inside your house ; your children like olive plants surrounding your table.
Grandchildren are the crown of old age/men, and the glory of children is in their fathers.

Rediscover Water Cure protocol
How Dehydration caused Dis-eases
Persistent unintentional dehydration leaves its damaging impact in the fourth dimension of time. Caught in time, these Dis-eases conditions can be reversible , as you read and follow the simple rehydration daily.
Our human body manifests its water shortage by four(4) categories of conditions :
1. perceptive feelings;
2. drought-management programs;
3. crisis calls; and
4. complication of persistent dehydration.
1. Perceptive feelings of water shortage include : tiredness that is not the result of strenuous effort, such as feeling first thing in the morning that you do not wish to get out of the bed.
Anxiety, agitation, shortness of temper, depression, sleep disorder, craving for sodas, alcohol, and even hard drugs and agoraphobia are some of the ways our human brain reflects its water-conservation and water-regulation problems.
2. The drought-management and resource-management programs are : constipation, allergies, asthma, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and the autoimmune diseases.
3. Crisis calls : The newly understood regional thirst signals are : heartburn, rheumatoid joint pain, back pain, migraine headache, colitis pain, fibromyalgic pains , and anginal pain.
4. Complications of dehydration are very extensive and include : obesity, hemorrhoids, cholesterol plagues and arterial diseases, and type 1 diabetes, as well as serious neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, neuritis, phlebitis, lymphomas, cancers, and many more.
Medicine has traditionally divided the human body study-logy into so many specialties and subspecialities based on the different body organs ' way of revealing their water shortages. Each of these groups has its own rituals for investigating within its "fiefdom." The pharmaceutical industry has accommodated physicians and has designed medications that are used in that particular "domain" of medicine. This is why, when dehydration manifest itself in more than one organ or domain of the human body, the patient is forced to see many different specialists to address his or her organ-specific symptoms. Hence the use of so many different pills and treatment procedures, in the same person, for the same underlying cause - dehydration. Here is demonstrate how water alone naturally reverses multiple health concerns.

Persistent unintentional dehydration leaves its damaging impact in the fourth dimension of time. Caught in time, these Dis-eases conditions can be reversible , as you read and follow the simple rehydration daily.
Our human body manifests its water shortage by four(4) categories of conditions :
1. perceptive feelings;
2. drought-management programs;
3. crisis calls; and
4. complication of persistent dehydration.
Health workers reject swine flu shot.
By MARIA CHENG,AP Medical Writer AP - Wednesday, August 26
LONDON - About half of Hong Kong's health workers would refuse the swine flu vaccine, new research says, a trend that experts say would likely apply worldwide. In a study that polled 2,255 Hong Kong health workers this year, researchers found even during the height of global swine flu panic in May, less than half were willing to get vaccinated.

Most said they would pass on the swine flu shot, which is not yet available, because they were afraid of side effects and doubted how safe and effective it would be.
Doctors and nurses are on the swine flu front lines _ and if they become infected, they may not only spread the disease to patients, but their absence from work could cripple health systems.
The World Health Organization recommends countries vaccinate their health workers. Many Western countries including Britain, Spain, and the U.S. have said doctors and nurses will be among the first to get swine flu shots.
The study results, published online in BMJ, formerly known as the British Medical Journal on Wednesday, suggest that carrying out those plans may be tricky.
"A good argument can be made that health workers have an ethical obligation to be vaccinated, not to protect themselves, but to protect their patients," said George Annas, a bioethics expert at Boston University. "But if they don't believe that vaccine to be safe and effective, it will be a hard sell."
Several drug makers are testing their swine flu vaccines. So far, officials say that among the few thousand people who got the injections no one has reported anything more serious than a sore or swollen arm.
It is unlikely any rare side effects will pop up until the vaccine is given to millions. That might include things like Guillain-Barre syndrome, a temporary paralyzing disorder, which was seen after the 1976 swine flu vaccination campaign, and happens fewer than once every 1 million vaccinations.
Researchers at the University of Hong Kong surveyed doctors and nurses in public hospitals this year from January to May, asking them if they would get a pandemic vaccine based either on bird flu or swine flu. About 35 percent of health workers were willing to get a bird flu vaccine, versus 48 percent for swine flu.
Experts were surprised so few of Hong Kong's health workers were willing to be vaccinated, since the city was hit hard during the 2003 outbreak of SARS, or Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome.
Paul Chan of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, one of the study authors, thought the results would be similar elsewhere. Fewer than 60 percent of health workers in most countries get vaccinated against regular flu, thought to be a reliable indicator of whether they might get a swine flu shot. In the U.S., about 35 percent of health workers get a regular flu shot, while in Britain, only about 17 percent do.
Annas said health workers were ultimately like everyone else when it comes to getting vaccines. "Like the lay population, they assume they won't need the shot because they don't think they will get the flu."

GENEVA (AFP) - - Countries can expect to pay between 2.50 and 20 dollars for a dose of swine flu vaccine depending on their ability to meet the costs, a WHO official said in remarks published Wednesday.
Marie-Paule Kieny, the head of vaccine research at the World Health Organisation, also warned that there would not be enough vaccines for the world's population and that people should not rely entirely on the vaccine.
Rather, they should take other preventive measures against the A(H1N1) virus, such as avoiding large gatherings, closing schools and observing personal hygiene.
"Coverage will be partial and not only in developing countries. But we should not be 'hypnotised' by vaccines," said Kieny in the interview published Wednesday in the WHO's Bulletin, a health journal.
"There are other measures, such as social distancing, school closure, avoidance of large gatherings, antibiotics and personal hygiene. This is not like rabies, which is 100 percent fatal: we are talking about a disease from which most people recover very well," she added.
Kieny reiterated that the WHO will help countries to get as much vaccine as possible, and that the wealthiest countries may have to pay up to 20 dollars.
"The industry will use tiered pricing, so high-income countries might pay between 10 and 20 dollars per dose, middle-income countries may pay about half that and low-income half that price again," she said.
"These are ballpark figures but this is the order of magnitude," she added.
Britain and France have received their first batches of swine flu vaccine in late August, as governments began to arm themselves against an expected second wave of the pandemic in the northern winter.
At least 2,185 people have died after contracting the swine flu virus which has overtaken other viruses to become the most prevalent flu strain.

Doctor sued for negligence?
Thursday, September 3
Popular Taiwanese singer-songwriter David Tao has decided to sue famous orthopedic, Doctor Chen Hongyi, for medical negligence. He is suffering the aftereffects from an operation he had many years ago to fix a broken middle finger. His finger is no longer as agile as it used to be, affecting his guitar and piano-playing. Tao is seeking monetary reimbursement for the error, and the case, which lies in the jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court, is currently undergoing investigations .
Chen, who's the Head of the Department of Osteopathy and Orthopedics at Taipei City's Hospital Yangming branch, expressed his stand and clarified that he had thoroughly explained the surgical procedure to Tao, and consistently reminded him to take a break and recuperate at home. He further stated that Tao did not heed his instructions and continued with his concert tour and is deeply disappointed at Tao's sudden decision to sue him.
Dr Chen also revealed that the American doctors were unable to diagnose Tao's condition. After a check-up, he discovered the bone fracture and explained to the singer that chances of recovery are much higher after an operation. He reiterated his stand and maintained that he had informed Tao that he can no longer be as agile and perform like he used to, and that the singer had accepted the surgery.
Instructed to rest for four to six weeks to completely allow the bone to heal, Tao did not heed Chen's instructions and left the hospital the next day after the surgery ended. It was also said that Tao did not return to the hospital for routine check-ups.
Tao expressed that after the surgery, he found that his fingers became more rigid and stiff. He shared that he is unable to carry heavy objects, affecting his guitar and piano-playing agility. It came across as a double whammy for the singer, who relied heavily on his innate composing capabilities. The singer reckoned that it might be the work of the overly-long steel nail that caused his fingers to become even more rigid.

One of the greatest controversies in America at this time is the Obama Health Care Reform proposal. On July 30th, 2009, Time Magazine reported that the Obama Administration has made great progress, but it is now being violently opposed by many. The article went on to say that Obama is suffering from frustration over the battle, and he considers it to be his most important domestic issue. (10) The many town hall meetings have become sessions of frenzied screaming and intense opposition to the Obama plan. Congressmen have been shouted down vehemently in these meetings throughout the United States. The response of Obama to all of his congressional emissaries that are holding these town hall meetings was, "Punch back twice as hard." (11)

Never too young or old to learn and revise your worldwide awareness.
The new health care plan is antichrist and completely evil. I make this bold statement for a number of reasons, and no, I am not worried about being reported to Obama's hit list. I am already on it, and probably in capital letters. One of the problems with this "Government insurance" is that it allows coverage for any and all abortions for whatever reason. This was verified by an Associated Press article dated August 6th, 2009. (12) The article clearly states, "Since abortion is a legal medical procedure, experts on both side say not mentioning it would allow health care plans in the new insurance exchange to provide unrestricted coverage."
Included in Obama's health care plan is a very dangerous provision that would encourage euthanasia of the elderly. A former New York lieutenant governor, Betsy McCaughey, is actively trying to get the word out about this insidious danger of the health care reform act. McCaughey issued the following statement: "The provision requires senior citizens to submit to end-of-life consultations. Congress would make it mandatory, absolutely require, that every five years, people in Medicare have a required counseling session that will tell them how to end their life sooner. The bill expressly says if you get sick somewhere in that five year period, you have to go through that session again - all to do what is in society's best interest, or your family's best interest, and cut your life short." (13) Even former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, in reference to this provision, said that Obama's plan is "downright evil." Palin also referred to a "death panel" that would deny care to certain Americans. (14)
When I think of all the nursing homes I have been in to sing and minister the Word of God to the beloved elderly people, I realize how vulnerable these people are. Many of them are so drugged and controlled that they would say yes to anything. Highly trained, smiling, end-of-life counselors could and would easily persuade these people to end their lives. What a great evil is rising up! Who is this strange President, and what will he try to do next? We remember Adolph Hitler and his Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, or Nazi party, with its hard-line policies to eliminate what were called "useless eaters." The German people did not know what they were getting into with Der Fuehrer as an answer man. Germany was in financial ruin, and numerous other problems prevailed, just like in the United States at the time Obama stepped in and promised change and hope! The same evil spirits that drove dictators before did not die with those dictators. They moved forward to new human stooges and are somewhere right now. The Bible tells us the ultimate dictator will arise in the last days. How long will it be until people awaken from their spiritual death sleep and realize they are living out the final prophecies of the Bible? They will either come fully awake or die in their sleep. I pray to Almighty God for a great awakening! One good thing that is happening right now is a strong push by certain senators to eliminate the end-of-life provision from the national health care plan. I pray that it is removed!
The Planned Pandemic!
One story seems to predominate the news, and it coincides with Obama's health care reform. I am referring to the "swine flu campaign." When schools reopen nationwide, millions of young people are scheduled to receive immunizations against this designer virus that seemed to appear from nowhere. We know that conspiracy has always been the method of Satan's operation. We find this to be true throughout the Word of God. Things don't just happen to happen; they happen because someone wants them to happen. In the July 16th, 2009, edition of the New England Journal of Medicine on page 225, we find the following words: "The current international pandemic caused by a novel influenza A (H1N1) virus derived from two unrelated swine viruses, one of them a derivative of the 1918 human virus, adds to the complexity surrounding this persistent progenitor virus, its descendants, and its several lineages." (15) Quite obviously, this did not happen by itself, but was manufactured for use in both manipulating and reducing the population of the world. Strangely enough, the flu is not as dangerous as the vaccine that is supposed to prevent it!
One type of anti-flu drug that has been used is known as Tamiflu. On July 31st, 2009, the London Times newspaper featured an article with the following headline: "Tamiflu causes sickness and nightmares in children." The article goes on to tell how a significant number of children who received the anti-flu immunization developed an inability to think clearly. Nightmares and strange behavior followed. (16) We have now also learned that one of the ingredients being used to make the new vaccine for the H1N1 flu vaccine is derived from the kidneys of diseased monkeys, whose kidneys are harvested for that specific purpose. (17) We must also bear in mind that monkeys in Africa were used to host the HIV AIDS virus when it was being developed and thrust upon the world several decades ago. This is all Satan's business and the workings of conspiratorial darkness.

My first earthquake experience in Bandung
Date: 2 September 2009,Wednesday.
Time: going to be 3 pm (1500 hours).
I was working inside the C-130 cargo compartment. Heard loud 'metal-shaking' noise inside the hangar. Headed towards the left paratroop door to find out the cause. Looked outside and was surprised by the shout "GEMPA! GEMPA! LARI ! LARI! ( Indonesia word for Quake! Quake! Run! Run!) and all personnels were running towards the apron of the Husein Sastranegara Airport runway, which is in front the hangar.
I quickly ran out from the aircraft and as I was running , I looked up the roof (thinking the roof is going to rip off)and saw the overhead hangar-lights were swaying.
The tremor was felt for about 10 seconds. All 14 of us, gathered in front the hangar and waited for 'safe signal' to resume our work inside the hangar. Concrete beam found with crack.
This was a terrifying shocking experience for all of us.

* Quake rattles Java killing 32 and damaging 1,300 homes
Thu, 09/03/2009 - 11:20 AM
A powerful earthquake rocked western Java on Wednesday, killing at least 32 people and causing thousands to panic across the most populous island in the country.
CIKANGKARENG, Indonesia – Rescuers dug through rocks and debris with their bare hands Thursday in search of dozens of villagers believed buried in a landslide triggered by a strong Indonesian earthquake that killed at least 46 people and damaged thousands of buildings.
At least 110 people were hospitalized with injuries from the 7.0 magnitude quake just off the coast of densely populated Java island, Disaster Management Agency spokesman Priyadi Kardono said, adding that 10 were in critical condition.
The earthquake Wednesday afternoon caused destruction across West Java province, where more than 18,300 homes and offices were listed as damaged, around 9,000 of them seriously, Kardono said. At least 5,300 people were forced into temporary shelters, he said.
Some rural areas could not be reached by telephone and there may be more victims and damage, officials said.
Many of the deaths and injuries were caused by falling debris or collapsed walls and roofs.
In the village of Cikangkareng in Cianjur district, a landslide buried a row of homes under tons of rock and mud. At least 13 bodies were recovered and villagers were searching for dozens of people believed missing, Kardono said.
"Everything is gone, my wife, my old father-in-law and my house ... now I just hope to find the bodies of my family," farmer Ahmad Suhana, 34, said as he pried at giant stones with a crowbar.
Heavy digging equipment had not reached the remote village, which President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was to visit later Thursday. Police, military personnel and villagers used their hands.
Maskana Sumitra, a district administrator, said 11 houses and a mosque were buried by the landslide and estimated that more than 50 people were trapped and feared dead.
"The chance of survival is so slim ... but we have to find them," Sumitra said.
The prolonged shaking from the quake was felt hundreds of miles (kilometers) away on the neighboring resort island of Bali.
In the capital, Jakarta, 125 miles (190 kilometers) north, thousands of panicked office workers flooded out of swaying skyscrapers onto the streets, some of them screaming.
The Disaster Management Agency said at least 46 people were confirmed dead.
Dede Kurniati said her 9-year-old son was playing at a friend's house when the earthquake struck and is now "buried under the rocks."
"I lost my son ... now I just want to see his body, I want to bury my lovely son properly," she said, weeping.
Hospitals in towns and cities across West Java province quickly filled with scores of injured people, most of them with broken bones and cuts.
A tsunami warning was issued after the quake struck at mid afternoon but was lifted an hour later. Several dozen aftershocks were measured by geological agencies.
Indonesia, a vast archipelago, straddles continental plates and is prone to seismic activity along what is known as the Pacific Ring of Fire. A huge quake off western Indonesia caused a powerful tsunami in December 2004 that killed about 230,000 people in a dozen countries, half of them in Aceh province.

Raw rice grain versus Cooked rice.
Eat Less Rice!
The human body was never meant to consume rice! You see, our genes have hardly changed in more than 30,000 years. However, our food choices and lifestyle have changed dramatically. The first man would hardly recognise our food or way of life.
First man food was never cooked as fire was not used. Thus, he ate only those foods that you can eat without treatment with or by fire..cooked. He ate fruits, vegetables, fish (sushi anyone?), eggs, nuts and meat. Yes, even meat! You can even eat meat raw if you were starving in the forest. You have the necessary enzymes to digest meat.
However, rice, like wheat and corn, cannot be eaten raw. It must be cooked. Even if you were starving in the desert, you cannot eat rice in the raw form. This is because we do not have the system of enzymes to break rice down. You were never meant to eat rice. To make matters worse, you not only eat rice, but also make it the bulk of your food.
In some parts of Asia , rice forms up to 85% of the plate. Even if you take rice, keep it to a minimum. Remember, it is only for your tongue - not your body. Actually, rice and other grains like wheat and corn are actually worse than sugar. There are many reasons:
Rice becomes sugar - lots of it!
This is a fact that no nutritionist can deny: rice is chemically no different from sugar. One bowl of cooked rice is the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. This does not matter whether it is white, brown or herbal rice. Brown rice is richer in fibre, some B vitamins and minerals but it is still the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. To get the same 10 teaspoons of sugar, you need to consume lots of kangkong-10 bowls of it.
Rice is digested to become sugar.
Rice cannot be digested before it is thoroughly cooked. However, when thoroughly cooked, it becomes sugar and spikes circulating blood sugar within half an hour-almost as quickly as it would if you took a sugar candy. Rice is very low in the 'rainbow of anti-oxidants. '
This complete anti-oxidant rainbow is necessary for the effective and safe utilisation of sugar. Fruits come with a sugar called fructose. However, they are not empty calories as the fruit is packed with a whole host of other nutrients that help its proper assimilation and digestion.
Rice has no fibre.
The fibre of the kangkong-vegetable fills you up long before your blood sugar spikes. This is because the fibre bulks and fills up your stomach. Since white rice has no fibre, you end up eating lots of 'calorie dense' food before you get filled up. Brown rice has more fibre but still the same amount of sugar.
Rice is tasteless-sugar is sweet.
There is only so much that you can eat at one sitting. How many teaspoons of sugar can you eat before you feel like throwing up? Could you imagine eating 10 teaspoons of sugar in one seating?
Rice is always the main part of the meal.
While sugar may fill your dessert or sweeten your coffee, it will never be the main part of any meal. You could eat maybe two to three teaspoons of sugar at one meal. However, you could easily eat the equal value of two to three bowls (20-30 teaspoons) of sugar in one meal. I am always amused when I see someone eat sometimes five bowls of rice (equals 50 teaspoons of sugar) and then asks for tea tarik kurang manis!
There is no real 'built in' mechanism for us to prevent overeating of rice:
How much kangkong can you eat?
How much fried chicken can you eat?
How much steamed fish can you eat?
Think about that!
In one seating, you cannot take lots of chicken, fish or cucumber, but you can take lots of rice. Eating rice causes you to eat more salt. As rice is tasteless, you tend to consume more salt-another villain when it comes to high blood pressure. You tend to take more curry that has salt to help flavor rice. We also tend to consume more ketchup and soy sauce which are also rich in salt.
Eating rice causes you to drink less water.
The more rice you eat, the less water you will drink as there is no mechanism to prevent the overeating of rice. Rice, wheat and corn come hidden in our daily food. As rice is tasteless, it tends to end up in other foods that substitute rice like rice flour, noodles and bread. We tend to eat the hidden forms which still get digested into sugar.
Rice, even when cooked, is difficult to digest.
Can't eat raw rice? Try eating rice half cooked. Contrary to popular belief, rice is very difficult to digest. It is 'heavy stuff'. If you have problems with digestion, try skipping
rice for a few days. You will be amazed at how the problem will just go away.
Rice prevents the absorption of several vitamins and minerals.
Rice when taken in bulk will reduce the absorption of vital nutrients like zinc, iron and the B vitamins.
Are you a rice addict? Going rice-less may not be easy but you can go rice-less. Eating less rice could be lot easier than you think. Here are some strategies that you can pursue in your quest to eat less rice:
Eat less rice-cut your rice by half.
salmon-steaksBarry Sears, author of the Zone Diet, advises 'eating rice like spice'. Instead, increase your fruits and vegetables. Take more lean meats and fish. You can even take more eggs and nuts.
Have 'riceless' meals.
Take no rice or wheat at say, breakfast. Go for eggs instead.
Go on 'riceless' days.
Go 'western' once a week.
Take no rice and breads for one day every week.
That can't be too difficult. Appreciate the richness of your food. Go for taste, colours and smells. Make eating a culinary delight. Enjoy your food in the original flavours.
Avoid the salt shaker or ketchup.
You will automatically eat less rice.
Eat your fruit dessert before (Yes! No printing error) your meals.
The fibre rich fruits will 'bulk up' in your stomach. Thus, you will eat less rice and more fruits..
It's your life. Decide what you want to eat! But eat less rice!
