Bob Capelli is the Vice President of Cyanotech, the largest grower of astaxanthin in the world.  Capelli has also co-authored some of the literature on astaxanthin.
Astaxanthin is now thought to be the most powerful antioxidant found in nature.
It is one of the most amazing supplements I have ever learned about. The only one that exceeds it in importance to be taking every day, from my perspective, is vitamin D. 
It is one of the most vital supplements I take, and one that I would not want to be without.
Astaxanthin is a derivative of the microalgae Haematoccous pluvialis  (it's the part that give salmon and flamingos that eat the algae their orange or pink coloring).
It is produced when the algae's water supply dries up, forcing it to protect itself from ultraviolet radiation. It's the algae's survival mechanism—Astaxanthin serves as a "force field" to protect the algae from lack of nutrition and/or intense sunlight.
As an analogy, the way the algae produces astaxanthin is similar to the way your skin cells produce melanin in response to sun exposure. 
The astaxanthin, just like melanin, protects the algae against excess ultraviolet radiation. Interestingly, one of the benefits of astaxanthin is actually its inherent ability to protect you against sunburn.

Astaxanthin Works as an Internal Sunscreen

Initial animal studies in Japan had discovered that by ingesting astaxanthin, mice could stay under UV radiation longer without getting burned or experiencing deleterious damage to their skin. 
Cyanotech tested it on human volunteers, and found that taking 4 mg per day for just two weeks statistically increased the amount of time the subjects could stay in the sun without getting burned.
"Astaxanthin absolutely works as an internal sunscreen," Capelli says.
It will not eliminate the risk of sunburn in everyone, because there are many individual factors involved, but it can radically reduce your risk of developing severe sunburn and related skin damage. Getting sunburned not only causes photoaging, it can also cause skin cancers, so you should always take care not to get burned.  Capelli recommends taking 4 mg of astaxanthin per day. It takes several weeks for the dose to build up  to achieve UV protection, and to help improve your skin's overall moisture balance and elasticity.

Astaxanthin May Boost Athletic Performance

Emerging evidence, and plenty of anecdotal stories, indicate astaxanthin may be a powerful performance booster for athletes.
"There are many endurance athletes that are taking astaxanthin," Capelli says. "A lot of them are just raving about it.  They love the stuff. 
There was a study about… 10 years ago in Sweden of young men that were training—they [were] doing deep knee bends; as many as they could do until exhaustion.  Obviously the control group [was] taking a placebo; they put the experimental group on astaxanthin… a 4 mg dose.  After six months, the men working out taking a placebo could do approximately 22 percent more deep knee bends.  The ones taking the astaxanthin could do 62 percent more!  They were getting stronger three times faster than those taking placebo.
Absolutely, for strength and endurance, it works wonders… Athletes generate a lot of oxidation, a lot of free radicals floating around their bodies from doing these intense workouts.  Because it's such an incredibly strong antioxidant, it helps combat those free radicals."
From my point of view, this is exciting because exercise is one of the crucial components for health that I recommend, and astaxanthin appears useful for protecting against injuries and overuse syndromes that can occur when you're exercising on a regular basis. According to Capelli, higher doses, up to 12 mg/day, is typically used by athletes.

As a Powerful Quencher of Inflammation, Astaxanthin is Useful for Many

As an antioxidant, astaxanthin has powerful anti-inflammatory benefits, which makes it useful for a number of diseases associated with inflammation, such as arthritis.  However, it's not a magic cure.
"All of the studies we've done point to the same final conclusion that astaxanthin is not going to cure these problems," Capelli admits. "It's not curative.  But it will absolutely help with having people feel better and definitely increase mobility and also help to reduce pain.
For example, rheumatoid arthritis is much harder to treat than osteoarthritis.  We've done a study on that.  Believe it or not, about halfway through the study when the results started kicking in… the people in the treatment group taking astaxanthin… were asking the researcher, "What is this?"  A lot of them with rheumatoid arthritis had tried many different things and had not gotten results.  With astaxanthin they were getting very good results.  It just took about a month or so to kick in.
We've done studies on people with carpal tunnel syndrome—again, very good results.  People with tennis elbow actually made their grip strength 93 percent stronger in eight weeks."
Not mistaking astaxanthin for a cure is an important point. However, it can effectively relieve symptoms when taken consistently over several weeks (effects are usually noticeable after about two to four weeks). And in many cases it can do so more effectively than far more expensive and potentially toxic prescription anti-inflammatories and over-the-counter pain killers.
If you have arthritis or any other inflammatory condition, you still need to address the foundational causes, which in many cases can be traced back to your diet, particularly eating too much sugars and grains, which increase your insulin levels and inflammatory prostaglandins.  You would also need to assess your fat intake, to make sure you're getting healthful saturated fats and enough essential animal-based omega-3s, for example.

Absorption Rate Can Vary from Person to Person

While most people, about 85 percent, experience benefits from taking astaxanthin, it doesn't work for everyone.
"The reason why, we think, is because many people have a very poor ability to absorb carotenoids (astaxanthin is a carotenoid)," Capelli explains.
"People absorb anywhere from as low as 5 percent of the carotenoids in their diet or in supplements, up to over 90 percent. If your body absorbs 90 percent, you're going to get a great benefit even at 2 to 4 mg a day.  But if you're a 5 percent absorber, you might take 12 mg a day and still get almost no benefit." 
Another factor to keep in mind is that astaxanthin is a fat soluble supplement.  So unless you take it with a small amount of fat, it's not going to absorb well.  Butter, coconut oil, or eggs would be ideal complements to ensure optimal absorption.

Other Benefits of Astaxanthin: Eye- and Brain Health

Research has also shown that astaxanthin may be quite beneficial for eye health in general, and age related macular degeneration (ARMD) and cataracts specifically. ARMD is the most common cause of blindness in the United States and most western countries.
Scientists have studied the most common carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin, canthaxanthin, and astaxanthin) and compared their respective abilities to protect the retina. But none perform to the degree that astaxanthin does, in terms of potency as a free radical scavenger and permeability across the blood-brain-retina barrier.
"Astaxanthin has been shown, in nine different human clinical studies, to be able to prevent tired eyes… It helps maintain the motor function of your eyes at the highest level, just like in your other muscles… Also, [astaxanthin] protects your eyes from sun damage just like it protects your skin... all the research points to astaxanthin being the champion of the supplements for eye health," Capelli says.
Other eye problems that may benefit from astaxanthin include:
  • Glaucoma
  • Retinal arterial occlusion
  • Cystoid macular edema
  • Inflammatory eye diseases (i.e., retinitis, iritis, keratitis, and scleritis)
It also appears to have potent benefits for your brain. In just the last two years, 10 different studies have demonstrated beneficial effects on brain health. For example, studies have shown that astaxanthin may:
"One animal study in Japan showed that it could potentially actually make rodents smarter," Capelli says. "That has not really been demonstrated in humans yet, but that's kind of an interesting thing, not just for people as they age but for anybody that just wants to have their brain functioning at maximum capacity."

What Makes Astaxanthin so Unique?

There are several different ways to measure antioxidant strength, but no matter which one is used, astaxanthin consistently comes out way above the others. According to Capelli:
"[Against] vitamin E, comparing singlet oxygen quenching, it was 550 times stronger.  CoQ10 – 800 times stronger.  Vitamin C, in one of the studies – again, this was singlet oxygen quenching – it was 6,000 times stronger.  Compared to some other antioxidants like let's say lutein it might be only 10 times stronger, but overall, whatever you're comparing it with, it's consistently well above all the competitors."
Astaxanthin is also unique in that it can protect the entire cell.  The astaxanthin molecule is actually in the same family as beta carotene and other carotenoids like lutein and lycopene, yet it's also very different. This difference is due to the shape of the molecule, and the ends of the molecule.
"One end of the astaxanthin molecule [protects] the water soluble part of the cell, and it spans the cell membrane, and the other end [protects] the fat soluble part of the cell. So it can protect the entire cell," Capelli explains.
 "Another thing that's really interesting to note is that many good antioxidants, under certain conditions, can change and have the opposite effect and become pro-oxidants.  It can actually cause additional oxidation in your body. It can start doing damage.   Astaxanthin has been shown in a few different studies never ever to be able to become pro-oxidant.  It's never going to hurt you.  It's only going to help you."

Salmon is a Good Source of Astaxanthin, But Beware of Farm Raised Variety

"Pretty much anything that is red in color that comes out of the sea has astaxanthin in it," Capelli explains. "So you're looking at shrimp, lobster, crab, of course salmon has the highest concentrations.  In salmon it tends to concentrate mostly in the muscles and so the theory is that… that's what gives the salmon this incredible endurance to swim upstream for weeks to spawn. It's in trout as well.  Several different [fish] species have it, but again not in big doses. 
If you like wild salmon, the species that has the highest amount is called sockeyei, [which is] common around Alaska.  If you eat about half to three-quarters of a pound, you're going to get the same amount of astaxanthin that you get in one 4 mg capsule."
Typically, that's too much for most people to be eating in one day, so it may be difficult to reach commonly used therapeutic doses through diet alone. Also keep in mind that the majority of salmon sold in restaurants and your local food store is farm raised, not wild-caught. The problem with farm raised salmon is that the astaxanthin is a highly inferior synthetic version that may have still unknown toxicities.
As for supplements, synthetic astaxanthin has not yet been permitted to be sold for human consumption, so all astaxanthin supplements on the market contain natural astaxanthin.
"Synthetic astaxanthin is produced from petrochemicals," Capelli explains. "It's made in the laboratory in a very elaborate process that turns it from oil into astaxanthin.  Frankly, it's a pretty amazing feat that they have figured out how to do this but…it's not natural and [the molecule] has a very different shape. 
… The very important difference is that the natural astaxanthin is sterified, which means that on either one or both ends of the molecule there is a fatty acid molecule attached.  Again, this is not proven.  We don't know why but that's the theory of why it works so much better, because in animal tests that have been done on synthetic versus natural astaxanthin, there has been a remarkable difference in all sorts of things like immunity, disease resistance, growth rates, strength, all things like that.
Also, in a laboratory test on antioxidant strength, the natural astaxanthin from algae was 20 times stronger in free radical elimination than synthetic astaxanthin from petrochemicals.   It's really like comparing apples to oranges.  They have the same name, astaxanthin, but again, one is very different from the other.  They don't even look the same under a microscope."

Final Recommendations

If you decide to give astaxanthin a try, I recommend starting with 2 mg per day, and working your way up to about 4 mg per day, or more if you're an athlete or suffering from chronic inflammation. If you are on a krill oil supplement, which naturally contains astaxanthin, take that into consideration. Different krill products have different concentrations of astaxanthin, so check your label.

Who i s Doctor Lindsey anyway?

Between January and August last year, Dr. Lindsey and her boyfriend allegedly involved the child during sex, and DeKalb County police claim they discovered photographs of Lindsey performing sex acts on a couple of her pets.
Some of you may wonder why I've chosen to discuss this story. Some may think it's in poor taste and doesn't belong in a newsletter about health. However, I believe it's relevant to be aware that someone in charge of your child's health is allegedly engaged in child abuse. Her actions raise serious questions in my mind about her level of concern for the health and well-being of children in general.

Dr. Lindsey Played Primary Role in Bogus Swine Flu Propaganda Campaign

As you may recall, the 2009 H1N1 swine flu pandemic turned out to be a complete sham, with a fast-tracked and particularly dangerous vaccine being pushed as the sole remedy. Children and pregnant women were the primary targets of this dangerous vaccine. The H1N1 flu was a perfect example of how the CDC can brazenly distort reality, and often ignore and deny the dangerous and life-threatening side effects of their solution. As a result of this bogus propaganda campaign, thousands of people were harmed (and many died) worldwide.
In August, it was revealed that the 2009 H1N1 influenza vaccine increased the risk for narcolepsy—a very rare and devastating sleeping disorder—in Swedish children and adolescents by 660 percent.
Finland also noticed a dramatic increase in narcolepsy following vaccination with Pandemrix. There, an interim report issued in January of this year found that the H1N1 vaccine increased the risk of narcolepsy by 900 percent in children and adolescents below the age of 19. In the US, the H1N1 flu vaccine was statistically linked with abnormally high rates of miscarriage and stillbirths. As reported by Steven Rubin on the NVIC's blog, the US H1N1 flu vaccine was SIXTY times more likely to be reported to VAERS to be associated with miscarriage than previous seasonal flu vaccines.
The only "winners" in this game were the pharmaceutical companies that received millions of dollars for this never-proven-effective and highly reactive vaccine, while being sheltered by our government from liability for any harm it caused.
Dr. Lindsey played an important role in that campaign, which ended in tragedy for countless many—not from a killer flu (statistically, the 2009 H1N1 flu was MILDER than usual) but from the dangerous and expensive "remedy" to this oversold non-threat.
All of that said, I do want to stress that Dr. Lindsey has not yet been found guilty, and there are still many unanswered questions relating to this case. But this is not the only shocking story raising questions about the ethics of those involved in creating the CDC's health recommendations.

The CDC's Stance on Water Fluoridation—Another Misleading Recommendation

Take water fluoridation for example.
Documents released under the Freedom of Information Act show that since the 1970's, the dental health professionals in the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have had sole control over the agency's stance supporting water fluoridation.
The CDC is part of a larger administrative structure that provides intra-agency support and resource sharing for health issues that require the input from more than one area of expertise. Other offices that share information and expertise with the CDC include the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Office of Minority Health and Health Equity, and the Agency for Toxic Substances. The general assumption has been that the agency used a broad range of expert input to evaluate fluoride before reaching the decision to support water fluoridation.
After all, since fluoride is swallowed, it stands to reason it may have an impact on your whole body, not just your teeth.
Yet the documents show that no CDC toxicologists, minority health professionals, experts in diabetes, or others outside the Oral Health Division had any input into the agency's position.
This flies in the face of what the agency claims, and what water-, health- and political leaders have believed about the way the CDC operates. Without these additional experts from other fields, can we reasonably believe that the agency has properly assessed the research on whole-body harm from fluoridation? The documents have drawn attention once again to the CDC's and EPA's fluoride safety statements, which appear completely at odds with current scientific knowledge, and the fact that no outside experts from related fields were ever included may very well explain this discrepancy.

CDC Doctor who "Debunked" Vaccine-Autism Link Indicted on Fraud

Another shocking case involving the CDC is that of Dr. Poul Thorsen, who, after being found to have falsified documents, was indicted on fraud, money laundering and tax evasion after stealing somewhere between $1-2 million in research grant money from the CDC.
Here you might wonder why I'm faulting the CDC, as the organization was the victim of fraud. The reason I fault them is because they hired Dr. Thorsen to debunk the link between thimerosal in vaccines and autism—which he did to their satisfaction. However, CDC officials may have played a significant role in "guiding" this research to their desired end, and now that Thorsen has been exposed as a fraud, the agency still upholds his research as being of high caliber.
As explained in a 2010 article by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.:
"Thorsen was a leading member of a Danish research group that wrote several key studies supporting CDC's claims that the MMR vaccine and mercury-laden vaccines were safe for children. Thorsen's 2003 Danish study reported a 20-fold increase in autism in Denmark after that country banned mercury based preservatives in its vaccines. His study concluded that mercury could therefore not be the culprit behind the autism epidemic.
His study has long been criticized as fraudulent since it failed to disclose that the increase was an artifact of new mandates requiring, for the first time, that autism cases be reported on the national registry. This new law and the opening of a clinic dedicated to autism treatment in Copenhagen accounted for the sudden rise in reported cases rather than, as Thorsen seemed to suggest, the removal of mercury from vaccines.
Despite this obvious chicanery, CDC has long touted the study as the principal proof that mercury-laced vaccines are safe for infants and young children. Mainstream media, particularly the New York Times, has relied on this study as the basis for its public assurances that it is safe to inject young children with mercury -- a potent neurotoxin -- at concentrations hundreds of times over the U.S. safety limits."

Were CDC Officials in on the Fraud?

Emails released in response to FOIA filings by parents also show that Kreesten Madsen, one of Dr. Thorsen's research partners, had acquiesced to the wishes of CDC officials who wanted to cherry pick facts in order to prove vaccine safety. Furthermore, according to an April 28 report by Natural News:
"From February 2004 through June 2008, says the DOJ indictment, Thorsen allegedly submitted over a dozen fraudulent invoices requesting reimbursement for expenses that were fabricated. Interestingly, these allegedly fraudulent invoices were signed by a laboratory section chief at the CDC, indicating that someone inside the CDC was either duped by Thorsen or potentially involved in the alleged fraud.
… This is the great untold story of an alleged criminal ring operating inside the CDC, with the purpose of falsifying research that would "disprove" any links between vaccines and toxic side effects."

Why Does the CDC Not Invalidate Dr. Thorsen's Research?

Dr. Thorsen's studies are frequently quoted in rebuttals to the claim that vaccines may play a role in the disorder. The studies in question were riddled with flaws, yet despite the fact that Thorsen's studies may actually be a complete sham, the CDC has not officially declared them invalid. In fact, they're still listed on the CDC website as part of the scientific backing of their stance on autism and vaccine safety.
Nor has the media jumped on this story and exposed how vaccine-safety claims have been based on junk science by a scam artist. They've also failed to question why none of the journals have denounced Dr. Thorsen's studies, which support the claim that vaccines are safe, while Dr. Wakefield's research was denounced after the mere insinuation of wrong-doing.
Furthermore, according to research by Dan Olmsted and Mark Blaxill writing for AgeOfAutism.com, Dr. Thorsen has also been working with the American Psychiatric Association (APA) on an updated definition of "autism" for the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), which is slated for release in May 2013. I believe it would be prudent to take a deeper look at his input, to make sure his connections to the CDC and his role in protecting vaccine safety has not tainted the new definition of autism.
The sad fact is that conflicts of interest color most of the ties between our government and the pharmaceutical industry, and conventional media repeatedly fails to report the truth on these matters.
So, who can you trust?
I would recommend trusting yourself. Do your own research, and make your own decisions accordingly. The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) is an excellent resource on all things relating to the controversial topic of vaccines. They have been compiling objective evidence showing both sides of the issue and have been one of the strongest voices for vaccine safety and true informed consent.

Dental Issues : MERCURY FILLINGS (amalgams)

    A great deal of progress has been made this year toward ridding the dental industry of dangerous mercury-containing amalgams.
    For example, Consumers for Dental Choice recently reported that:
    "On October 10, the City Council of Malibu, California passed a resolution supporting "national and worldwide efforts to reduce anthropogenic [man-made] sources of mercury to the environment." 
    Specifically, the city endorsed "efforts by UNEP [the United Nations Environmental Programme] to adopt an international treaty to phase out each of the above five major mercury pollutants":  batteries, electric switches and relays, measuring devices, mercury-containing lamps…and dental amalgam. 
    Malibu is the third California city to call for the phase-out of dental amalgam, following the resolution of the city council of Costa Mesa and the proclamation by the Mayor of Santa Ana." 
    According to Consumers for Dental Choice, the World Health Organization ("WHO") also just released its long-awaited updated and finalized report on dental amalgam.  In Future Use of Materials for Dental Restoration, WHO urges "a switch in use of dental materials" away from amalgam, stating that:
    "[F]or many reasons, restorative materials alternative to dental amalgam are desirable." 
    But that's not all!
    As a result of enormous public pressure from dentists, health professionals and consumers, the FDA has also promised to make an announcement by year's end of its decision about whether or not to warn the public of the dangers of dental amalgam, and possibly even restrict its use.
    A series of town meetings in three states this year, hosted by the FDA's Center for Devices, has resulted in the FDA's reconsideration of its appalling 2009 amalgam rule.
    Thanks to Consumers for Dental Choice, town meetings previously attended mostly by industry representatives pleading with the FDA to "go easier on them" are now instead being dominated by consumer advocates demanding government accountability. Their greatest hope is to see mercury amalgams banned altogether, but short of that, the Consumers for Dental Choice hopes the FDA will at least make all consumers aware that amalgams are more than 50 percent mercury. The American Dental Association (ADA) has historically covered up that fact, while taking money from Coca-Cola and other companies whose products promote the formation of cavities.
    Fifty percent of dentists are now mercury-free; you can help abolish the use of mercury fillings by supporting one of them. We are on the brink of prompting real change in the fight for mercury-free dentistry, but your voice is needed in order to bring about permanent change.

    First Base: Dallas, Texas on March 10

    The first of the town meetings occurred in a suburb of Dallas, Texas, in March 2011. According to Charlie Brown (former attorney general and president of the World Alliance for Mercury Free Dentistry), the Texas town meeting generated a surge of long-overdue press coverage about dental amalgam on major Dallas television stations and newspapers.
    Dr. Jeffrey Shuren, the presiding FDA official in the dental amalgam issue, was presented with testimony from, among others, Dr. Bill Glaros, the former president of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. In response, Dr. Shuren acknowledged the FDA scientific panel's conclusion that certain populations, such as pregnant women and young children, might be "more sensitive" than others to the adverse effects of dental amalgam. The following statement certainly indicates the door is open, but whether or not the FDA will actually walk through it remains to be seen Dr. Shuren stated:
    "We may decide to change our current regulation, and that could include changing the status of dental amalgam, which means it comes off the market or has other controls on it, or we may decide to leave things as they are."

    Floridians continued the momentum by turning out en masse for the next town meeting, outraged over the FDA's failure to protect children from mercury fillings. The event generated front-page news from coast to coast, even prompting an article from the Los Angeles Times.
    As in Texas, with the press in his face, Dr. Shuren was compelled to answer to the FDA's inaction on amalgam. After all, it is far easier to evade questions about the health hazards of amalgams when behind the protective walls of a government office than it is in front of television cameras. Dr. Shuren told the Orlando Sentinel that he would like the FDA to make a decision this year, but it (FDA) would have to reconsider the scientific and legal issues.
    It was hardly the promise of regulatory overhaul, but it was more than the FDA had been willing to say in Washington. Consumers two… amalgams one. But consumers would soon advance their cause even further as dentists turned up in droves for the third town meeting, this time in San Francisco.

    The highlight of the California meeting was testimony by Anita Vasquez Tibau, grassroots director of Consumers for Dental Choice, who detailed amalgam's devastating impact on the Spanish-speaking community. Vasquez Tibau assailed Shuren with his own words. In an exchange with the European Union regarding device regulation last February, Shuren sparked an international scrap when he commented that European patients may be "guinea pigs" for medical devices due to inadequate government oversight, and added, "We don't use our people as guinea pigs in the U.S."
    Oops… except, we do—a point that Anita Vasquez Tibau was quick to bring up.
    While holding up a photograph of a Latino kindergartner whose smile showed the tragedy of a mouthful of mercury fillings, Vazquez Tibau reminded Shuren that the FDA itself admits amalgam can cause neurological damage in young children as their immature systems are more sensitive to the neurotoxic effects of mercury vapor. She also reminded him of the FDA's statement about the lack of evidence of amalgam's safety for children under age six, and then asked him to stop treating Latino children like "guinea pigs." Dr. Shuren responded that he intended to make an announcement of the FDA's position by the end of the year. So the clock is ticking.

The Reason Why You Are So Tired : Acidic Blood

More than 30 years ago ( since 1979) , one Mr Zhang who worked in the public sales department of a Taipei Brewery, Taiwan, participated in the brewery overseas study selection examination, and passed with flying colours.

Before going overseas, during the  physical examination at a public hospital, it was discovered that he has a tumour growth in his lung the size of a child's fist, and therefore was not able to go overseas for study.

The great disappointed Mr Zhang has always been suspicious that the diagnosis was wrong. So he went to another hospital for a second check-up, the result confirm that previous first diagnosis was not in error. Tumour in his lung. 

For the youthful and healthy Mr Zhang to be stricken down with such terminal illness, in his despair, he rang his former classmate who was Taidong County Government, Huangsun County Mayor's secretary, Mr Wei.
This Mr Wei rushed to Taipei during his rest day (Sunday) to see Mr Zhang.

Mr Zhang discussed with Mr Wei in detail his despair and pessimism, and entrusted his friend regarding his affairs after his death. Coincidentally, Mr Wei was a good friend of one Dr Lu Geling, who was in-charge of the Maijie Hospital, 1945-1955, and specialized in the clinical research into cancer cases. He immediately suggested that Mr Zhang should meet Dr Lu for treatment. At first, Mr Zhang said he preferred not to see anymore doctors, so as not to add further to his misery.

But Mr Wei told him that he had telephoned Dr Lu before to seek his advice and arranged an appointment. Mr Zhang felt obligated and went with Mr Wei to meet Dr Lu.

When Dr Lu Geling met with Mr Zhang, he said: "Mr Wei is a friend and introduced you to me and we get to know each other. This is destiny. Thank you. let me ask you do you know why is cancer referred to as terminal illness? "

Both Mr Zhang and Mr Wei did not know how to answer him.

Dr Lu explained :" There are only two approaches taken by humans to treat cancer to-date. The first is to destroy the source of the disease. The second is to increase the capability of the body to fight the disease.

But the strange this is that, whether we use Cobalt 60 or other drugs to destroy the cancer cells, before the cancer cells are killed/destroyed, the good cells are destroyed first in the process. 


On the other hand, no matter what nutrients or supplements we use, before the good cells have a chance to absorb them, the cancerous cells have taken (hijacked) them up and it simply speeds up the growth of cancer. 


Therefore both approaches are doomed to failure , that is why cancer is terminal."


Dr Lu continues : "Human beings are most clever, they have successfully landed on the moon. But why is it no one ever questioned the above two approaches for treating cancer patients whch are nothing but self defeating dead-ends, and try to seek a third avenue? 


When I was conducting clinical research in Majie Hospital, I had many opportunities to work with and being helped by many colleagues in the Hospital. I discovered that the blood tests of 100% of the cancer patients showed that the blood samples are acidic.


Those Buddhists monks and nuns who are long term vegetarians and live very close to Nature, their blood are prevalently weakly alkaline and amongst them, there has yet to discover any cancer cases.


Therefore, I boldly concluded that under weakly alkaline condition, cancer cells are not able to grow, or even to survive. Mr Zhang, I would suggest that starting from now, you reduce your food intake of the acidic meaty dishes. 


Take more of the alkaline food. In addition, you can take green algae and soup brewed from water-chestnut with skin. Modify your physical condition, and try seriously to have a regular life style which is close to Nature. 


If you can manage to stay alive for five years, you should have no further problem. I wish you the best of luck."


Mr Zhang followed Dr Lu's suggestion and seriously altered his eating habits.
Everyday, he ate green algae, drink whole chestnut brewed soup, be optimistic and did an appropriate amount of exercise, and went back to the same public hospital for a check up. it was discovered that not only that the tumour did not increase in size, on the contrary it showed signs of shrinking, and  surprised the hospital staff conducting the check-up as a miracle. Five years later, the tumour had shrunk to such a state as to almost disappear.

After almost 40 years, presently Mr Zhang's health is totally normal, and living a very pleasant life.

Everyone wants to be happy, but most people don’t know how to attain a state of happiness in a reliable way. Certainly, happiness is not just attained by avoiding pain, but by doing something much more than that. Everyone knows, happiness does not come from addiction and mindlessly indulging in bad habits such as smoking too much, drinking too much, and so on.

How would your life change if you had a reliable system of attaining happiness? How would you like to have a system for making yourself and the people you care about happy, and you could do that in reliable and predictable ways? Everyone would love to have that knowledge! That is what this program is all about. We have a happiness system for you, and you guessed it, it is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3.

So, why do people have such a difficult time finding happiness? Well, happiness isn’t something that is taught in schools (you were supposed to pay attention and focus on your work), it isn’t taught in family circles (that is where we learned to distract ourselves from our feelings), and unfortunately, if we learn anything at all about where to find happiness it comes from the media. For the most part, the media attempts to sell us happiness! Through the use of commercials and other types of influence, they try to teach us that happiness comes from buying what they are selling. We are taught that if we have (the car, the clothing, the hair style, and so on), whatever products that they want to sell us, then we will be happy. Other than that, we just don’t seem to put much time in thinking about what kinds of things will really make us happy.

Use wheat grass juice as a mouthwash to draw out toxins, or you can chew on wheat grass for similar results.

Some other toothache home remedies include:

  • Chewing raw onion for 3 minutes
  • Chewing guava tree leaves
  • Applying an ice pack to the cheek above the affected tooth
  • Avoiding hot or cold foods
  • Placing a pinch of pepper and ¼ teaspoon of salt directly on the affected tooth
  • Applying 3-4 drops of vanilla extract directly on the affected tooth for immediate relief

The most effective way to prevent cavities and other forms of tooth decay is to eat healthier. By eating an apple instead of that last piece of chocolate cake, you are choosing between natural ingredients that help strengthen your teeth and processed sugars that will only add to your risk of cavity. Another way to help prevent tooth decay is by increasing your Vitamin C and Calcium intake. One way to get Vitamin C is through eating limes.
