In October 1993, I again wrote to Mr.Cowley and almost begged him to think seriously and scientifically of dehydration as the primary cause of asthma. Imagine how many thousand of Antonios would have been saved by now. here is the letter .

I REQUEST A FEW MINUTES OF YOUR CLEAR MIND.
* Do you know what happens to the human body , if it does not receive ADEQUATE water on a regular daily basis?
* Do you know what happens to the body if caffeine and alcohol- containing beverages substitute for water , when caffeine and alcohol are known to promote water secretion from the kidneys?
* Do you know that a "dry mouth" is not an accurate indicator of water shortage in the human body?
* Do you know that the elderly can be seen to have a dry mouth after water deprivation and yet not drink it even if water is made available to them?
* Do you know that between the ages of 20 and 70 the ratio of intracellular water content of the body to its extracellular water content changes from 1.1 and become 0.8 -- less water inside the cells?
* Do the cells with less water become independent of the intricate chemical function of water within their cytoplasm and the nucleus?
* Do you know that histamine is the main neurotransmitter that regulates water intake and the drought management of the body - that its increased production and release is proportionate to water shortage, particularly in children (histamine is growth factor)?
* Do you know that the human body has a number of very sophisticated emergency thirst signals?
* When asthma becomes cured with increased water intake (attachments), are we curing a disease or are we treating a condition produced by extreme dehydration?
