Water Cure

The Water Cure Recipe:

Drink 1/2 your body weight of water in ounces, daily. Example 180 lb = 90 oz. of water daily. Divide that into 8 or 10 oz. glasses and that’s how many glasses you will need to drink, daily. Use 1/4 tsp. of salt for every quart of water you drink. Use salt liberally with food. As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt. Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. These are diuretics and will dehydrate you. Every 6 oz. of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 10 to 12 oz. of water to re-hydrate you.

P.S. (USE clean water, never drink water from a PLASTIC container. Use non-refined, ocean salt ONLY ) ( You can find non-refined, gray, sea salt in any better health food store)

Dr. B recommends you drink at least a half-hour before meals and about 2 1/2 hours after meals for best results(after heavy meat meal as much as 4 hours).

… “Dehydration (92 % of North Americans are chronically dehydrated) is a devastating stress on the body and it’s cells. Signs of hunger may be a warning flag that your body is in need of a good drink. Try consuming several glasses of water before diving into a snack to see if that takes care of your craving. Because fruits are largely made up of water, they are perfect choices for a mid-afternoon treat.

SUGGESTED PROGRAM FOR WATER & SALT INTAKE

This information comes from the books Dr. Batmanghelidj wrote.

The formula for water intake is half your weight in ounces of water divided by 5 or 6 for the number of times you can drink the water throughout the day and the size of the container or amount of water you drink each time. IMPORTANT: When you drink your water, get it down in 5-6 minutes, “Don’t nurse it”.

EXAMPLE: For a 300 lb. person – half is 150 ounces divided by 5 equals a 30 oz. bottle

Use a 32 oz. bottle 5 times a day or a 24 oz. bottle 6 times a day

SALT: Unrefined Sea salt is best (highest mineral content). When you add salt to water, use a measuring teaspoon. The rule of thumb is 1/8 teaspoon for every 16 oz.; 1/4 teaspoon for every 32 oz (1 quart); 1/2 teaspoon for 64 oz., or 1 full teaspoon for 1 gallon. (Some people will need less salt, others more). This is a starting point, not a set rule. You can just add the salt to your food or add the salt to the water and shake or stir it. The best way is to just throw the salt into your mouth and chase it with water. (Better way is to have one tea spoon of unrefined sea salt dissolved in a one gallon GLASS BOTTLE, ready to be used)

NOTE: If your ankles, fingers, or eyelids swell, don’t do the salt for two days, just drink the water. Then on the 3rd day begin taking the salt again. NOTE: If your kidneys are not working well, then don’t follow this program. If you still want to try it on your own, just drink one eight-ounce glass of water and wait until you go to the bathroom. Then drink another glass. When your kidneys come up to speed (input matches output), then start the salt slowly to make sure your kidneys are working ok.

I discovered that histamine is a vital chemical messenger in the brain. Histamine has a most important function not written about in medical textbooks. It is in charge of water intake and drought management in the body. It is less active when the body is fully hydrated, and becomes increasingly active when the body becomes dehydrated. This was the connection I was looking for. In short, histamine produces pain when an area in the body is suffering from drought!

I have seen water completely reverse conditions such as: Asthma. Angina. Hypertension. Migraine headaches. Arthritis pain. Back pain. Colitis pain and chronic constipation. Heartburn and hiatal hernia. Depression. Chronic fatigue syndrome. High cholesterol. Morning sickness. Overweight problems. Even heart problems needing bypass surgery.
