First HFMD death

in seven years. A-THREE-YEAR-OLD boy dies of HFMD, the first fatality in Singapore in seven years(since 2001). "Encephalitis patients can go downhill rapidly", said Dr Chong Chia Yin, a senior consultant in infectious diseases at Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH), sid the boy could not be resuscitated despite their best efforts. It happened to many of the 7 children who died of HFMD in the 2000-2001 outbreak, the last time anyone here died from the disease.

Read details reported by Salma Khalik(Healthy Correspondent) in The Straits Times August 8 2008 Part B1.(

With much grief I spent the eve of Singapore 43rd National Day. One death is too much for us! Emotional debates aside.

Public Appeal: SINGAPORE!!! HELP !!! PLEASE help spread the news! BEAT HFMD :DRINK WATER .

Let us build a strong, robust and disease-free children and people in our homeland Singapore! We cann stand together with our children, students, parents, teachers, leaders and elders and BEAT HFMD to nil !

Any disease which can cause death cannot be "mild". Mild illness or health problem is not serious. Cleanliness -- whether internal or external of our body -- is never harmful.
Use water-cure daily to detoxify the human body naturally and effectively.
It is never too late or too early to revise and be wise again for the rest of our journey.......

Use Water-cure. Rather be thankful for the timely warning, and do something about it.

Drink at least 10% of your own daily water-quota (31.42 ml multiply by your present body weight(kg), every 90 minutes. Use 1/4 teaspoon of sea-salt in your daily diet, for every 1250 ml water drank. Do not use Table salt. If crystal-rock-salt is available, is best to use it.

Pain is a sign/signal produced by dehydration in the human body. Pain may be common but it is not normal.

To simplify complications is the FIRST essential of success.
