Another? New? Hospital? ...(???)

Alexander the Great replied,"I am dying with the help of too many physicians!"

The medical establishment has became a major threat to health. It is astonishing with how little reading a doctor can practice medicine, but it is not astonishing how bad he/she may do it.

We may lay it down as a maxim, that when a nation abounds in physicians it grows thin of people.

Doctors or physicians are many in title but very few in reality.
A great doctor 'kills' more people than a great war general. Many more people die by the lancet at home, than by the sword abroad.

Physicians and doctors acquire their knowledge from our dangers, making expensive experiments at the cost of our lives.

Only a physician can commit homicide with impunity.

Whenever I saw three physicians together, I looked up to discover whether there was not a turkey buzzard in the neighbourhood. Keep away from doctors. It is all probing and guessing and pretending with them. They leave it to Nature to cure in her own time, but they take the credit. As well as very fat fees.

If you think you have catch a cold, call in a good doctor. Call in three good doctors and play bridge-card game and drink more water.

With the exception of lawyers, there is no profession which consider itself above the law so widely as the medical profession. Worry is the lost natural and spontaneous of all human functions. It is time to acknowledge this, perhaps even to learn to do it better.

Doctors, is it noble to be one of you? I am still thinking of being a doctor when I grow up. Any advice?
It's not wrong to worry, only worry about thing at the right time. Every generation has its own fresh phasing and its own way of expressing love and tenderness.
Love does not change, people change little, art and literature inevitably conspire to confirm this communality with our past. Alexander was correct, he was Great until the too many physicians tried to 'help' him in his war campaign.
