ASPARAGUS JUICE

fresh vegetable and fruit juices: What is Missing in Your Body ?

Deficiencies of certain minerals, salts and vitamins can cause many of the symptoms of illness. Simple action of replenishing the body with fresh vegetable and fruit juices can solve these symptoms.

Asparagus contains an alkaloid known as Asparagine in a relatively large amount. Alkaloids are found in living plants. They contain the active life principle of the plant, without which it cannot grow or stay alive. Asparagine is composed of the elements carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen.

When asparagus is cooked or canned, the value of this alkaloid is lost, as the hydrogen and oxygen are dissipated and the natural salts (not same as the table salt from the factories) formed by the combination of this alkaloid with other elements are virtually lost or their value is destroyed.

One pound of fresh Asparagus has 426 grams of distilled water; 6.40 grams of protein; 12.70 grams of carbohydrates; 0.50 grams of fats; amount of vitamins in International Units(IU)Vitamin A (2290); Vitamin C (84); Thiamin (0.46); Riboflavin (0.51); Niacin (3.90); Minerals in grams: Calcium (0.056); Magnesium (0.051); Potassium (0.706); Phosphorus (0.157); Sulphur (0.053); Iron (0.0025); Silicon (0.008); Chlorine (0.004); Sodium (0.005); Oxygen (142); Hydrogen (286); Nitrogen (1)

Dr N.W.Walker, the author of eight books, researched nutrition and healthy living for eighty (80) years and passed away in 1985 peacefully of natural causes at age 109 years.

In the form of juice, Asparagus has been very effectively used as a diuretic, particularly when combined with some carrot juice, as it may prove to be uncomfortably strong in its reaction on the kidneys when taken alone.

It is a beneficial juice in the case of kidney dysfunctions and in the regulation of general glandular troubles. Diabetes and anemia are helped by the use of it in conjunction with the juices more specifically outlined for these conditions found in the said book.

As this Asparagus juice helps the breaking up of oxalic acid crystals in the kidneys and throughout the muscular system, it is good for rheumatism, neuritis, etc. Rheumatism results from the end products of the digestion of meat and meat products, which generate excessive amount or urea. Kidneys can only do so much per day, all excess have to be postpone for the following day, if sufficient water and salt is still available. But the rate of meat consumption is faster than the rate the kidneys can do their daily elimination, and this compounds into the result of storing excess urea at joints and kidneys.

As the human body system cannot completely digest and assimilate so-called "complete protein", such as meats and meat products, the ingestion of too much of these causes the greater part of the uric acid generated thereby to be absorbed into the muscles.

The continuous use of animal meat protein taxes the workings of the kidneys and of other eliminative organs, straining them to the point where a progressively smaller amount of uric acid is eliminated and a correspondingly greater amount is absorbed by the muscles. The result is painfully as rheumatism.

This condition is also one of the underlying causes for prostate gland health trouble, in which case this juice combination, in addition to the carrot, beet, and cucumber has been helpful.

Hey, if someone has dark fingernails and toe nails, what does that mean?

Its ME said...

If you are referring to manicured nail colour, then I must humbly say, "I don't know what that mean.

Perhaps you are not referring to manicured nails, then let us know the history of how your finger nails and toe nails turn to 'dark'.

Happy blogging and learning along.
