Ancient Chinese Human Energy Research
About ShiFu Shi Delon
Dr. Leung YK (Shi DeLon; Leung SumLun)
has maintained his training, learning and dedication to theAncient Chinese Human Energy work of XingQiShu (QiGong) DaoYinShu (TaiChiQuan) for the last 50 years. He is still continuing his training, learning and researching into this fine Chinese heritage of knowledge regarding the human mind and body today. There is plenty visual evidence below to support his ‘martial’, ‘healing’ and ‘teaching’ experiences. It is most unusual for a Chinese ShiFu (teacher) to be cross-examined by both Western and traditional Chinese medical Professors and Doctors in order to defend his knowledge and experience. This demonstrates that Dr. Leung YK is not only ‘knowledgeable’ in his academic ‘Learning curve’ but also ‘well-experienced’ in his practical ‘Training curve’.
From his last 20 years of clinical research, Dr. Leung YK realized that there is a small group of teachers whose interests are purely financial and personal, which has distorted the teaching and knowledge of Ancient Chinese Human Energy. Many ‘self-proclaimed’ Masters are in fact ‘unqualified’ in any respects when it comes to the Methodology GongFa of XingQiDaoYinShu (QiGong and TaiChiQuan). The majority of ‘External workouts WaiGong’ is mistakenly taught as ‘Internal exercises NeiGong’. This ‘blind is leading the blind’ scenario has plunged the majority of students and other interested persons into confusions. The huge ‘illiteracy’ problem in China does not help in rectifying this distorted view. The marvelous ancestral wisdom of ‘self-healing’ of the human mind and body is being misinterpreted and abused.
The work of Dr. Leung YK is hoping to assist those interested in studying the Ancient Chinese Human Energy work through his scientific research instead of the current twisted spiritual and religious influences.
ACHE research is being set up specifically to promote this ‘objectivity’. Dr. Leung has been granted a piece of land with planning permission from the provincial government in Slovakia to build a ‘healing and health promotion village YangShengCun’. This complex would include an ACHE research institute; a traditional Chinese Medicine TCM hospital; a University of Chinese culture; a ‘hot Spring Spa’ and the ‘healing and health promotion village YangShengCun’.
Dr. Leung has attended numerous meetings with different interesting parties and he has aroused immense interests with mainland Chinese investment groups. By the end of the first ‘Five years plan’ from starting, Dr. Leung envisage the complex to be fully operational and welcoming all those who are interested in the Chinese healing arts and culture. In order to realize this, the complex would have to train and recruit many ‘physicians’ and ‘therapists’ of Human energy work. Do check this website for more updates and see whether ACHE can offer you something of a lifetime.

His Life-time CV:
A lifetime of training and learning experiences that you can trust -
Dr. Leung YanKwai PhD 梁恩貴博士
(aka 31st generation ShaoLin laymonk Shi DeLon三十一代少林俗家弟子釋德龍)
aka 2nd generation HK Daoist ChiWuTan disciple Leung SumLun
香港至和壇第二代壇生壇名梁心欒
Born as the second son of the 1940’s well-known GuangZhou opera-house actress ‘Silver Sword Shadow銀劍影’ (Pict.1, 2,3), Dr. Leung YanKwai PhD (梁恩貴博士) or YK as he is known, naturally inherited his mother’s martial arts abilities (P4,5).
In the 1960’s, young YK’s Hong Kong film director uncle LonTu (龍圖導演) (P6) provided ample martial arts training opportunities for the teenager.
After finishing his secondary studies at the Methodist College HK, YK went on to study Environmental Design at the University of North London in 1973. While keeping up his own training, he began to teach Chinese martial arts to other students at the University.
In 1974, YK was working at top London clubs such as Tiffany, Empire and Lyceum after classes, paying his way through university.
In 1975, he had enough students to enable him to open an evening martial arts school; he called it - YunYeTong or the London School of Chinese Martial Arts (P7,8)
By 1976, YK was invited to join the British KungFu Council BKFC as its technical representative by its Chairman - Chief Superintendent of London City Police Mr. Alan Francis.
In 1977, he became one of the Founder members of the Martial Arts Commission MAC in Britain. (P9) After YK completed his first degree in Environmental Design in 1978, he returned to Hong Kong to set up his own practice. Although he had established various business enterprises in Hong Kong, YK never stopped training with many well-known martial arts teachers. (P10,11,12,13)
In 1980 when the well-known SongShan ShaoLin temple opened its door, YK was one of the many who went to learn more, a trend which he continues even today. (P14,15,16,17)
During the early 1980’s, YK worked in Hong Kong film industry with some well-known martial arts stars but did not achieve a breakthrough in the film industry. (P18,19,20,21)
In 1984, YK was appointed as the Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese Martial Arts association HKCMAA. (22) Due to family commitments, YK sold his Hong Kong businesses and returned to London where he dedicated his life working for the Temple School to promote cultural and charitable works between the Chinese and British communities. (P23–34) For many years, he tried to raise funds to bring Chen monks from the SongShan ShaoLin Temple to the UK as a cultural exchange project. Also during this time, YK was again temporarily working in film industry as a martial arts choreographer and stuntman. (P35-38) Unfortunately, he was never successfully achieved stardom in the film industry. Nonetheless, he continued training and promoting the ShaoLin martial and healing arts. His training curve was very long and expansive because he returned to the SongShan ShaoLin Temple almost every other year when possible.
For the last 32 years until now, YK has maintained a close relationship with ShaoLin Temple. (P39-46…more pictures in the ShaoLin laymonk trust section)
In 1995, 8th Dan JuJiTsu SenSei Kevin Pell recommended YK as a choreographer and stunt co-ordinator for the Universal film ‘Dragon Heart- the New beginning’. (P47-54) This opportunity led YK to become one of the popular Chinese martial and ‘healing’ teachers in the Republic of Slovakia and since then he has provided many Slovakian universities and hospitals with lectures, demonstrations and consultations. He is still teaching and helping patients to ‘self-heal’ themselves in 6 cities in Slovakia.
In 1999, YK’s dream of bringing the ShaoLin Temple to Britain came true. The Head Abbot of the ShaoLin Temple, Shi YongXin appointed him as the first ShaoLin Temple United Kingdom representative. The Head Abbot came to personally inaugurate YK’s Temple school in London as the first Shaolin Temple in Britain. Head Abbot Shi YongXin also brought over Shi YanZhi to assist YK in promoting the UK ShaoLin Temple. (P55-60)
In 2000, the old Abbot Shi SueXie received YK as the 31st generation ShaoLin monk and granted him the ShaoLin name of Shi DeLon. (P61-64) By now, YK realized that his ‘External training curve’ was adequate but his ‘Internal training NeiJia’ methodology required further improvements. He retired from teaching in Britain and returned to China. Since YK was officially a ShaoLin monk, the secrets of ShaoLin ‘Internal training NeiJiaQuan’ was shown to him by senior monks such as Shi DeJian; Shi DeLin and Shi DeHong. (P65-71)
Since 1984, YK has travelled many times between UK and China to learn from the monks at the ShaoLin Temple. Apart from learning from his teachers at the ShaoLin Temple, he also spent time with teachers of Chen TaiChiQuan in ChenJiaoGou. YK has studied Chen TaiChiQuan from three of China’s ‘Top ten teachers’ - ShiFu Chen ShiTong, ShiFu XueGuMing and ShiFu ChenZhangLei.
In 2001, ShiFu Chen ZhangLei accepted YK as an ‘Indoor’ student. This recognition has made him a disciple of the 12th generation of ChenJiaGou TaiChiQuan. All of his TaiChiQuan teachers’ extensive knowledge has led him to further research the origin and practice of classical DaoYinShu, the ancient form of TaiChiQuan. (P72-77)
As far as Human energy work is concerned, in 1992, after decades of external QiGong training YK has cultivated the ultimate martial skill – ‘Steel Jacket’. This extraordinary achievement in Human energy allowed YK to take very heavy physical punishments on his delicate human body, which is usually unsustainable for a normal person. (P78-82) During this time while continuing with him part-time teaching, some of his students who had physical and / or mental problems told him that his energy seemed to have exerted some forms of a healing effect on them. These surprising responses from his students encouraged YK to return to China to pursue the more advanced ‘soft QiGong’ training.
Armed with the ‘Internal NeiGong’ knowledge, YK soon became a full-time physician in Daoist Medicine helping others to ‘self-heal’ themselves from drug/drink addictions, psychological problems to various physiological illnesses. Soon, therapy and teaching invitations were received from many countries such as Britain, Ireland, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, USA, Hong Kong and various provinces within China. (P83-92)
By 2004, YK was successfully helping patients to ‘rid’ themselves of the terminal stages of cancer in Slovakia and USA. He was invited to give lectures and demonstrations to hundreds of Western medical professionals in different universities hospitals. YK then realized that although his ‘Training curve’ was of a high level; his ‘Learning curve’ was virtually non-existent.
In 2005 at the age of 53 (born 1952), YK decided to go back to University to learn more about the ancient Chinese ‘self-healing’ therapy. With strong recommendations from Dr. WH Tong and Dr. KS Ng of the Hong Kong Daoist Association, YK was accepted at ShanDong University by Professor JiangSheng to further research into the Ancient Chinese Human Energy work of XingQiDaoYinShu, which today is commonly known as QiGong and TaiChiQuan.
For seven long years, 2005-2012, YK has travelled the world, collecting more visual and audio data from his patients. These important clinical case studies can be viewed on the www.acheresearch.org ‘Editorial and film archive’.
In May 2012, YK successfully defended his PhD research findings and received his full ‘PhD Doctoral degree’ from ShanDong University and the Educational Department of the Chinese government. (P93-101) Further evidence of his case studies can be viewed in YK’s personal CV file.
In 2012, YK was invited to give lectures in the prestige HongKong University and the HongKong Daoist Association.
In 2013, YK was teaching ancient XingQiDaoYinShu courses for HK University. Plans are being considered that HK University is applying grants from the HK government to prepare a ‘drug detoxification’ programme using (SQG) Spontaneous QiGong therapy to collect scientific data. Plans are also being considered by the HK Daoist Association with YK to promote Daoist culture in HK.
