Self-heal Faster Than Others with
PaidaLajin?
It is easy to recover when the body
gets sick, but difficult to recover when the Heart gets sick, and even
more so when the soul gets sick.
The body, Heart, and soul are connected. When one of them gets hurt, all get
hurt. The Heart is the center among them. It can get sick, and it can also
be healed. People who think too
much do not have peace in the
Heart. They are always negative,
get sick often, and have difficulty recovering. Even when they
recover, the Heart easily gets sick
again, leading to other illnesses,
again, leading to other illnesses,
again and again, like a ridiculous
game we play. A chaotic Heart
causes illnesses. So when we say “healing,” we really mean
causes illnesses. So when we say “healing,” we really mean
healing the Heart. During
PaidaLajin practice, we need to overcome our fear, laziness, and skepticism. These are all illnesses
of the Heart that are difficult to
heal. This is why the words for
“fear” ( "担心") [dānxīn],
“laziness,” (怠惰 ) [dàiduò], and “skepticism”(懷疑論) [Huáiyí lùn] in Chinese all have the “Heart” component embedded in them.
All diseases are caused by sickness of the Heart.
When people get sick, they have been sick in the Heart already. “Disease,” or 病 in Chinese, has a component 丙. 丙 means “fire” according to the Five Elements Theory, which corresponds to the Heart, the center of our body. Our ancestors have already explained this to us through the creation of Chinese characters: all diseases are caused by sickness of the Heart, otherwise they would not be called “diseases” or 病, they would be called 疾.
疾 has a component 矢, which means “arrow,” or external damage, and is pronounced with the sound of 急 (quick, urgent).
How does the Heart get sick? Why do most people
get sick in the Heart without even knowing it?
The answer is simple. It is because the Heart has
gotten hurt the most often and severely, ever since
we were little. Children become unhappy when
they cannot have the candy they want, cannot get
good grades in school, or when other children’s
toys or clothes are better than theirs. Then, when
they grow up and fall in love, they will almost
always experience heart-break. This is why most
people, when they are heart-broken, say, “My
heart is shattered.” And eventually, many of us
experience all kinds of pressure from work,
marriage, children, mortgages, relationships,
overloading our hearts to the point where we can
no longer cope, then our hearts get sick and along
will come all kinds of negative emotions such as
fear, anger, hatred, anxiety, tension, laziness,
jealousy, frustration, and more. These are the
exact opposites of joy, bliss, contentment, and
happiness. Negative emotions are similar to the
feeling of cold, which is a form of negative energy
that can lead to tightness and contraction of the
Heart. Heart contraction is very damaging, and
will lead to contraction of all tendons. When the
Heart, King of all organs, is in turmoil, everyone
—that is, every one of the other organs—will be
in turmoil, and all kinds of diseases will show up.
When the Heart gets sick, the effect will trickle
down to cause sickness in different parts of the
body. And when the body gets sick, it will in turn
lead to more sickness of the Heart. This vicious
cycle goes on and on, till life ends.
PaidaLajin heals the Heart through the body. But if we lack confidence, determination, and perseverance, PaidaLajin will not work, or it will not result in the desired effects. Self-healing will not happen when you do not have the will to self-heal. Even when we recover, we will still get sick again. This is why many people have discovered, even when they have recovered from their
physical illnesses, if they are still unhappy and still have things that they can’t let go of, negative emotions will creep up whenever possible. This is the healing crisis of the Heart.
Why do many people cry so uncontrollably at our workshops? This is not because of physical pain, but due to the rhythm produced by PaidaLajin. The rhythm goes straight to the Heart, untangling it. This is what we call 开心, or “opening the Heart” which means “happiness” in Chinese. Mutual Paida and experience sharing at the workshop allow people the chance to let go of “secrets” that burdened their hearts, to “open” their hearts to people, and to be happy. Our ability to self-heal has always existed, long before there were doctors. But if we do not believe we have this ability, we can only seek external help.
Self-healing has nothing to do with money, but with the Heart.
I received a referral from a friend, who had
convulsions, neck pain, shoulder pain, and chest
pain. He had seen many renowned doctors of
many disciplines—Western doctors, Chinese
doctors, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and
others, all in vain. He still suffered from pain and
agony, and he found me.
I: “You could self-heal with PaidaLajin.”
He: “I am really sick. Please help!”
I: “If you are really sick, then do come to a PaidaLajin workshop as soon as possible.”
He: “I want to fly you over to America to cure me. I will buy your air ticket, pay for your hotel, and your fees.”
I: “I am not a doctor. I do not treat patients. I only run workshops to teach people how to self-heal. Why don’t you fly yourself over to the workshop?”
He: “I am too busy at work.”
Hear this? This is a very typical dialogue. Many people think they can pay to have their pains and diseases cured. But self-healing is really a wake-up call from within. It has nothing to do with money, but everything to do with the Heart. The guy was so sick already and still he could not let go. 忙 (Busy-ness)” is made up of the “Heart” and “death” components. So “busy-ness” means “the Heart is dead,” or at least the Heart is numb. Western medical doctors see the heart as a physical organ, but Chinese doctors see the Heart not only as a physical organ, but also as energy, a system that cannot be seen. Our ancestors called it “light from above,” so our Heart is our light, our guardian.
The Heart can feel all agonies, pressures, and negative emotions. But doctors, MRI, electro-cardiograms, and other machines may not be able to detect it. It is easy to believe that good test results mean that the heart is well, and then we will continue with all kinds of activities that put more pressure on the Heart. The Heart bears with this unconditionally, but all kinds of sickness can begin to appear in various parts of the body. And doctors will assign different names to these diseases, such as cancer, fatigue, insomnia, diabetes, depression, constipation, neck pain, back pain, leg pain, hair loss, skin disease, high blood pressure, or gynecological disorders.
All diseases are Heart illnesses.
These diseases are really Heart illnesses manifested in different forms. If not, they are not called 病, but 疾 or “external damages.” Simply put, illnesses of the body are signs of sickness of the Heart. But we do not believe it, and may continue to busy ourselves until we die. This is letting go, finally. When we let go only at our deathbed, it is not letting go naturally, but we are forced to let go. People who die quickly all share one similarity: they push their hearts to the extreme before they die.
With this gentleman, it did not matter that I explained to him, “I am not a doctor. I do not cure people. I just teach people self-healing methods,” not to mention that I already had other commitments; he still wanted me to cure him.
I said, “If your disease is severe and you feel anxious about it, why not come to the workshop as soon as possible?”
He said, “My project is very important, and I really cannot come. Can you please come yourself or recommend someone to come and help me PaidaLajin? I will pay for your air fare and fees.”
He absolutely had no interest in self-healing, and was just after finding people to cure him. His logic was that his business was very important, and this disease was very annoying; it came at the wrong time. And treating illness is a doctor’s business, so he paid doctors to treat him. When it failed, and he heard that PaidaLajin would work for him, he wanted to pay money for people to do PaidaLajin to him. Unable to convince him, I advised him to read my book and blog to understand the philosophy of PaidaLajin and practice it himself. After much persuasion, he finally agreed to read the blog.
The next day, this guy wrote me, “I have read
your blog. Now I am convinced that I do need
Paida. Would you please find someone to do
Paida for me? Please!”
I replied, “You could Paida your own universal regions (elbows, knees, hands and feet), and do stretching on a Lajin bench.
He said, “I want to have someone do Paida for me, because I have no energy to do it myself.”
I told him, “You can use a Paida stick. It saves much energy. And you can do Lajin on your own.”
Then he asked, “Where would it be most effective to do Paida?”
This is a question that many people have asked.
Many people are reluctant to understand the
principles of Paida; they just want to know all the
key philosophies of self-healing in a few minutes.
This is the logic of modern medicine: apply
treatment to wherever there are symptoms. But
the problem is, all diseases are complex diseases.
Disease names only give an indication to the
symptoms, and often just some of the symptoms.
Besides, where there are symptoms and where
the disease originates are often not the same. For example, headaches can be treated by applying
stimulation on the feet, stomach aches can be
treated by stimulating Zusanli acupoint below the
knee, and constipation can be treated by slapping
the back of the hands. But even if these work for
the time being, it only helps relieve part of the
problem, the real problem is due to blockages of
many different meridians. I call this “complex
disease,” because all meridians in the body are
blocked to varying degrees.
In other words, expressed diseases are often just symptoms, and there exist many more diseases that just lie dormant. This is especially true with heart disease. Very often, heart disease is unknown to the patient himself and his doctor, and cannot be detected by any medical equipment. This is why many people who die of sudden heart attack often receive good results
from hospital heart checks. Healing must be holistic, and the Heart must stay healthy. This is an open secret, and we all know this. Otherwise, even when all symptoms are cleared, it does not mean the person has healed. The key point is, the source of illness needs to be cleared. Where is the source of illness? In the Heart.
Diseases are not cured, but are self-healed.
We are all born with the power to self-heal, the power from the universe. Even medical treatments need to work through the self-healing power.
And it is safe to say that we get sick because of
the existence of our self-healing power. This is how the wisdom of the universe cautions us that our thinking and behaviors are off track. If we are grateful for the kind reminder and are willing to do PaidaLajin, we will self-heal faster. But unfortunately, our feelings toward illness are often negative, and filled with hatred. Though there are many reasons for diseases to exist, diseases are really self-made; we really are the ones who have caused them. If we do not find the disease source from within and are not remorseful, nor try our best to love ourselves and simply wait for others to treat us, how can we get better? Diseases are opportunities: whether to transcend or to corrupt, it all depends on us. All diseases come from the Heart, and all cures also come from the Heart. Our hearts have immense power. Our life, health, bliss, and even the power of the universe are extensions of the power of our hearts. Being overly dependent on others for treatments is an amputation of this power, an amputation of the most powerful source of self-healing. This is the greatest source of illness today. As the saying goes, “There is no bigger sorrow than the death of the Heart.”
Once we know the cause of illness, it becomes
much easier to heal. Simply put, diseases are not
cured, but are self-healed, all of them are. Even
when you go see a doctor, when you are given
medications, injections, surgeries, or counseling
sessions, these just facilitate your recovery and
do not cure you. You always get better through
the work of your own self-healing power.
PaidaLajin is like a key that activates this self-
healing power. It is your business that you have
caused your own disease. It is also your business
when you diagnose, heal, and prevent yourself
from getting a disease. You can only activate the
power of self-healing; others can only assist you.
In fact, those who have experienced the best
effects of PaidaLajin are those who do it whole-
heartedly. For example, consider 39-year-old
hypertensive patient Mr. Huang Changsheng
from Malaysia, muscle atrophy and rheumatoid
arthritis patient Eva from Hong Kong, and
diabetic patient Mr. Yang Weijie from Macau.
They all applied PaidaLajin the first instant after
learning about it, and all signed up for the
workshop right away, and continued to persist in
PaidaLajin after the workshop. The power of the
Heart was the key to their successful self-healing:
confidence, determination, and perseverance.
Mr. Huang Changsheng, faced with humiliations
from his family, stood firm and was determined
to “abuse” himself with PaidaLajin. The result
was that not only did Mr. Huang self-heal
hypertension without any medicine, but his wife
and daughter eventually also self-healed various
diseases with PaidaLajin. Then his family turned
their house into a PaidaLajin center. There are
always tens of people coming to his house for
PaidaLajin. Many have healed themselves of
diabetes, hypertension, hemiplegia, and cancer.
When Eva had lost all hope, at the height of Yin
came the rise of Yang: Eva’s immense
determination got activated, she did PaidaLajin
for 10 hours a day. This paid off and her muscle
atrophy, rheumatoid arthritis, and other diseases
all self-healed. Later on, she slapped her father
and helped him heal terminal prostate cancer and
other illnesses. She is now a Paida expert.
As for Mr. Yang Weijie, he had taken so many
insulin shots that his stomach area rotted. And other than diabetes, he also had diseases of the heart, liver, and kidneys. After attending a PaidaLajin workshop, Mr. Yang stopped all medicines and insulin injections, and his diabetes and other diseases were completely cured, like a miracle. It’s been four years now. What does it mean by “completely cured”? It means all his health data showed up normal according to a Western medical checkup. Now he is a “professional slapper” helping many people heal pains and diseases.
The meaning and values of PaidaLajin workshop
The core values of the workshop: Not only does it produce self-healing effect for people, but more importantly, it elevates a person’s Heart, values, and thinking, giving it positive energy, and allowing one to understand self-healing from the Heart. PaidaLajin can be learned in minutes, but the philosophy of self-healing—how to maneuver confidence, determination, endurance and other positive energies; how to exercise our own judgment to diagnose and self-heal; how to maintain good health, prevent illness, recover from diseases, combat or even reverse aging—is the reason our workshops are so attractive. For participants, participants’ families, coaches, doctors, scientists, and government officials, the workshop is the best classroom, the best clinic, and the best scientific research laboratory for learning and examining self-healing.
A self-healing coach needs to have participated in
workshops over ten times, or even several dozen
times, to gradually become a qualified coach.
Coaches have succeeded in self-healing during
and after a workshop, and then decide to commit
themselves to promoting self-healing with
PaidaLajin. But once committed, they all,
without an exception, experience healing reactions
of the Heart. All kinds of illnesses lying dormant
in their hearts emerge, and they go through various
stages of healing reactions of their body, Heart,
and soul. Every workshop has different cases,
different energies, and different healing
reactions. Coaches and participants who have
participated in many workshops will have a
different experience at each one, and transcend
every time. For those who have not attended a
workshop but are eager to Paida for other people,
they will face fear, doubt, rejection, all kinds of
healing reactions, and challenging questions. It
often impacts them negatively, driving down
their confidence, or leading to healing reactions
being expressed in them.
Why do we call this a “workshop”? Because PaidaLajin can only be learned through practice, not through discussions. Only through slapping and being slapped, can one experience the psychological changes, and the interaction between body, Heart, and soul. Only at workshops can you experience and appreciate the magic of life through fasting, meditation, and Zen jogging, and gradually elevate your health management to life management. From this perspective,
PaidaLajin serves as a good complement to yoga,
prayers, meditation, and other spiritual practices.
Why do Muslims invite me to teach PaidaLajin at
mosques? It is because we do not talk about
religion. We only talk about self-healing.
Muslims who were not able to pray because of
their back and knee pains, can kneel down and
pray again after PaidaLajin. Meditators who were
not able to cross one leg can, after PaidaLajin,
cross both legs when meditating. Need we say
more?
Be grateful, remorseful, and self-heal
But please remember, even if we have self-
healed at workshops, it does not mean we will
have good health forever—because it is difficult
to stop ourselves from hurting our hearts. Some
people stop PaidaLajin as soon as their health is
recovered, and re-enter into the much-pressured
world of moneymaking and career ladder
climbing, so they get sick again quickly. Others
want to earn the most money now so that they
will have enough money to see the doctor after
they retire. And their wish comes true—all their
hard-earned money goes to the hospital. These
people will put things behind them as soon as
they get their health fixed, failing to be grateful
and remorseful, not knowing how sick their
hearts really are.
If we do not know how to reflect on our wrongdoings, how to draw on our own resources, and always view illnesses as an external matter or other people’s business, then it is not genuine remorse. “Remorse” in Chinese is 忏 悔, both words have the “Heart” component embedded in them. If we are not remorseful, it will be difficult for us to truly recover from illness, because the illness is rooted in our hearts. First we need to be remorseful toward the body, because it has become sick as a result of abuse. Being sick is a signal that your body has reached a breaking point and is crying for help. In addition, we need to be genuinely sorry to those we have hurt with our words, actions, and thoughts.
感恩, or “grateful” in Chinese, also has the “Heart” component embedded in them. We should communicate with our hearts, and be grateful to our bodies, to all the body parts and organs that become sick; they all have their own lives and feelings. We should be grateful to the universe, to our parents, family, and friends, to all beings, all people, all things, and all matters that have
helped us grow. When we feel grateful as we
practice PaidaLajin, we will experience
exceptionally good self-healing results. After
mastering PaidaLajin, the best way to express
gratitude is to introduce it to more people.
Sharing your experience and encouraging others
to self-heal is definitely no small act of kindness.
A whole family could be saved because of your
testimonial.
The relationship between money and disease
Many diseases are related to money. If you do not
believe me, run a mental evaluation of yourself,
and think about how money has affected you.
Money is so mesmerizing because it is related to
the Heart. This is why Jesus said in the Bible,
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will
be also.” But this is not to say if you have less
money, you will have more sickness, or vice
versa. The key point is your attitude toward
money, which is dependent on your Heart. With
the wrong attitude, money will not bring
treatment but cause diseases; the more the
money, the more the diseases. Many countries
are having great difficulties in medical reform.
This is because they are on the wrong money
path.
As the saying goes, “There are no small acts of evil.” Accumulated small acts of evil will lead to catastrophes. Disease is one example of catastrophe. There is a reason for all diseases. Money is intertwined in the happenings of disease, bad luck, good luck, and longevity. The fates of individuals, countries, and all of humanity are made by us in such action-reaction cycles.
The relationship between “image” and disease
Many do not understand this: Why is it that some people are successful in their careers, have a happy family, their children are well-established, and then they still suddenly fall sick and die young? The answer is simple: they are in pretence.
Many people do not live their lives honestly. They
live for others, protecting their “image” while
suffering inside. It would be wondrous if they did
not get sick. Among these cases, those who
pretend to have a perfect family are the most
miserable, and have the most common illnesses,
such as depression, gynecological disorders, and
cancer. Loads of clinical data point to the same
conclusion. I am constantly in touch with these
people and their families day in and day out,
online and offline, at talks and at workshops, so
I feel much empathy toward them.
If we were to lift the layers of vanity, pretence, illusions, and disease names, we would discover that the cause of all diseases is the same. It is the sickness of the Heart. The Heart is sick because of money, and more often because of “image”; money and “image” are always interrelated. Many of us love brand-name goods, which are goods of “image.”
Some are keen to promote PaidaLajin because
they have benefited from it. But during the
process, as obstacles are met, the Heart will get
sick uncontrollably, going through all sorts of
healing reactions and negative emotions—fear,
hatred, worries, laziness, jealousy, arrogance,
skepticism, among others. All these negative
emotions will damage the Heart. For example,
some promote PaidaLajin unconditionally and
with gratitude, so they feel happy. But when
others do a better job, they feel unhappy. This is
a healing reaction of the Heart caused by power
and interest. Physical illness is healed, and then
comes the Heart illness. Healing reactions are
really relapses of old diseases. Our ancestors
called Paida “surfacing the old diseases,” or
“slapping out the demons” because this is how
demons and diseases lie deep inside surface.
Some do not care how many would benefit from
the self-healing method, but just care about
whether his or her own power or interest would
be affected. This is why these self-healed people
get sick again, and get dragged down by
negative emotions.
Some know the benefits of PaidaLajin, and introduce it to their families; but because of pain, tiredness, and fear of criticism about being unscientific, they become concerned that others will see Sha on their bodies and that their looks will be affected. This is the negative effect of power. Being overly concerned with one’s looks indicates that one does not genuinely believe in self-healing, but only believe it half-heartedly. If you care about your looks more than your health and morals, and only want to be pampered and not have anything to do with pain and rough times, then it is only normal to become sick, and normal to get sick again after recovery. This is the law of nature. So there is a saying, “Nothing slips through God’s net, no matter how sparse the net is.”
Can PaidaLajin really be free?
Compared to Western healing, PaidaLajin greatly improves efficacy and lowers medical spending. According to our surveys, about 80% of those who participated in our workshops no longer need medication, and their health condition is better than when they were under medication. But many are still hesitant about spending any money on it, and hope that it could be completely free. There is no need to hesitate, really. Countless people have already self-healed, with not a penny spent. There are new testimonials coming in every day. We have devoted many efforts to our blogs, Weibo, Wechat, Chinese, and English websites, all for the purpose of letting you learn PaidaLajin and self-heal free of charge. If you do not mind inadequate effects, you can practice Lajin with chairs against a wall. And if you do not mind the effort, you can make your own Lajin bench, Paida stick, and ginger and jujube tea. If you and your family practice Lajin every day, the pro-rata cost of a Lajin bench is only a few pennies, which is much cheaper than the transportation costs and clinic fees that you and your family would pay if you were to go see a doctor.
Even though you can freely learn this self-healing method on the web or at talks, please note that these offerings cost our organization. This leaves us with only one option—to conduct workshops like a business, and sell Lajin benches and Paida sticks.
Often people feel unhappy about any service that
requires a service fee; these people almost
always end up getting sick again, and sick in the
Heart. They believe that PaidaLajin should be
promoted completely free of charge. We want
this too. Perhaps the day will come when we do
not need to worry about feeding our families, or
finding funds for traveling to promote
PaidaLajin; then, we will be able to do it totally
free of charge.
The secret of self-healing: healing reactions
We as individuals and a group keep going through
healing reactions. The secret is that healing
reactions provide the best opportunity for
diagnosis and self-healing. In Chinese, “threat” is
made up of two components: 危 meaning “danger,
” and 机 meaning “opportunity.” There are
opportunities in threats. We have much evidence
to prove that the stronger the healing reactions
are, the more effective the self–healing will be.
This is because going through healing reactions
means going through disease screening and
self-healing together, all in one go.
We know it is very difficult to heal illnesses of the Heart—fear, laziness, jealousy, and skepticism is always here to attack us. Healing reactions happen all the time, so we have no choice but to keep answering emails and phone calls, and keep going through the same questions and answers, the same basic principles online and offline, and
we have no choice but to continue running
workshops. We have discovered that workshops
are, to this day, the best way for people to
experience PaidaLajin, and the best place for
people to self-heal their Heart illnesses. Different
types of disease will flare into different forms of
healing reactions, where Heart illnesses that
were oblivious to us will be exposed. The best
description of this comes from a folk poem:
I say, come come come self-heal,
You say, ne ne ne money got none.
Sick sick sick, spend all it takes,
Regret ‘gret ‘gret, cannot turn back.
I say, come come come PaidaLajin,
You say, aye aye aye got no time!
Go go go, till your last breath out,
Done done done, all become none.
PaidaLajin should become a way to maintain health and prevent illness, and not a method for curing diseases. However, in today’s world, people are most interested in disease treatment, so we have no choice but to promote PaidaLajin as such. PaidaLajin can heal all kinds of diseases, but it is not a guaranteed cure. You need to be willing to self-heal, and willing to be your own doctor. If you cannot rid yourself of Heart illnesses, they will
attack you in various forms of negative emotions
and explode into healing reactions. Whenever you
feel annoyed, you are going through a healing
reaction. The fact is, you already have these
diseases lying dormant in you; otherwise it would
not be possible for healing reactions to exist at
all. It is not possible for PaidaLajin to create
heart attacks and high blood pressure.
